Very friendly shop owners and so many unique items like rice, spices, vegetables, and Thailand Buddhas.

This store had great selection of items despite its size, however there was a younger guy in there who ruined my experience. The first time he was following me around while I was walking around looking at the items, he asked me over and over if I needed assistance and I said no each time, he then persisted to argue with me, a paying customer, he treated me as if I was a criminal when all I wanted was to check out the stuff because I’ve never seen them before, and if I saw something I liked, I would buy it. After a period of time, one of the older guys came out and talked to him in Lao and got him to stop harassing me, the older guy told me to continue looking around and that it was ok.The second time ( 2-3 weeks ago) I was aware of the consequences of me walking into that place, but I needed to look for some herbs I could use in my products, because I make soaps and conditioners out of natural ingredients. The same guy from last year followed me into the main part of the store. I stopped at the isle with the herbs and spices, and he stands there and watches me, and I looked at him back. He told me to leave my bag in the front, i complied and continued to check out the herbs like I set out to do, he then persisted to harass me once more. He said that he remembered me from last year and that he needed me to leave. As I was leaving, I said “y’all missing out on some money” he says back “we don’t want your money” and so I leftLast year my mom, I’m guessing she was just in the area and decided to check out some of the stores, something she would usually do, after I told her what happened, she asked me which store, after I told her the name, she told me that she was followed and harassed so she left and never been back, and neither will I.
