Friendly staff always willing to help, items I need are always in stock. Target is a great place to pick up every day items such as food for my home, household goods, pet food and bedding. Items for my home and yard. Movies to watch and games to play.i will continue to let others know about target and how great the staff is.

This is mainly about the pharmacy. Today I transferred my prescriptions over from another store. Not a target. The gentleman there was so helpful what a difference because I had went to the other store today and they were so nasty and rude. The staff there was so cheerful and helpful. I feel they went beyond to help me out. Glad I made the move today. Definitely a 5 star all the way.

Bad experience at the self checkout. My card was declined but they still charged me twice for something that I didn’t even purchase. I did talk to Martin and he told me that they couldn’t give me my money back because I didn’t get a receipt, of course I didn’t get one because it was declined but it was charged at the same time. I was able to get half of my money back from the bank and the other half they kept it. 😡🤬please be aware

Because the pickup was great it was fast just ask for my code I showed it to them and that was it loaded it in my car there was no waiting no extra time of anything it was perfect

I always loved target they have anything you want or can ask for. Its been the best store I have always gone too but unfortunately its not cheap they are expensive but sometimes do have a great sale.

Is conveniently close to my house prices arent too bad and I usually can find everything I need right there

I am not too familiar with this location but most staff members are very helpful. Went in the other day while business was slow and two employees seemed to be making small talk as they cleaned and stocked. One quickly approached me as they saw me struggling to find an item. Very kind of them to ask how they could help and even direct me the correct location. They could have simple continued with their directed task but decided to help I really appreciate it. Only problem I can think of with this location is in regards to the self checkout staff. They have been quite intrusive of my personal space whenever I buy cosmetics through self checkout. I understand this may be due to a surplus of product loss but I recommend perhaps more emphasis on secret shoppers, camera surveillance, and security guards. I don’t enjoy being hovered as I scan items at self checkout. I rather show my receipt at the door than have someone hovering me. I hope management takes this into consideration. As for shoppers I recommend having an employee help check you out if you feel hovered over.

Very bad customer service, I didnt see that sign where it say 15 item or less. I didnt see the self check out associated there either. there were only two register that was open. there was line so I decided to go the self check out, maybe save the cashier a break. When I was about to be finish, the self check out associate appear. Just to me and my younger brother. interrupting our conversation and didnt say excuse me or I am sorry to tell you that self check is only 15 item. Will I told him, that I didnt see that sign, where did they put it. Will I came from the right sides, you guys put on the left side. I didnt see it, I was focusing on checking out. I asked him to call an assistant or a supervisor, he refuse to call either of them. I have to walk to the customer servicer desk in order to call an assistant manger. The guy was name Martin, he didn’t identify who he is at first. I was trying to explain, that maybe the should move the 15 item or less sign to the right where customer. Instead of saying I am sorry you didn’t see the sign, we could make a sign bigger or another one on the right side where people can see it. Also the self checkout associate should have been there the whole time help and redirected customer. I didn’t even finish and the a hole, taunting me by moving the sign inches by inches. I asked why are you taunting me like that. You trying to make me look dumb, I told him that is very un professional. I told him I wanted a store manger or another assistance manger. Martin came back and told me that he was the store manger, I said are you kidding me. First your self checkout associated lie that he was there the whole time and now you. He dear to call the cop on me, wow. First it was your associate and now you. Martin and the self check out needs a better customer service. It shame, I won’t come to this target, I always knew this was a bad store but I just never had any bad experience. My item was only 16 item, one more item the little rule. They could had let me pass and not make any big deal out of it. One more item, really. To argue for 16 item versus 15 time and beside there just us and one more customer. Is not like is pact at the self check out. I do hope corporate can correct this. I guess I was right, Martin is a team leader and not the store Manger. come man, you could at least give the store manger name so I can call him, instead. Martin refuse it and he was gonna call the cops on me because I got 16 item instead of 15 item at the self check out. What happen if I was to get a vendors drink. Is still gonna be 16 item. come one man, this store is a joke. Making a big deal out of 16 item vs 15 item. If that is the case an advise that, dont put your vendor stuff at the front end then or put gums there. Make prefect sense.

Liars. Crooks.Do not make a big purchase here. They will not honor receipts. Do not buy any sort of insurance plan, as they will say it grants them immunity of having to do anything for you in store, especially refunds and returns. Will lie and cheat to get as much as they can from you, and make it hard to get back. Should cod with a warning from the BBB.

Sales associate that helped me went above and beyond to assist me with my purchase thru my Target app.....was so greatful. Made me feel really good inside to be helped with such sincerity. I had my 4yr old daughter with me and im glad she was able to interact with the associate and get some free stickers which she asked for. All my live n respect 👍🏼

I was having problem activating a prepaid phone card and Fabiola from Tech center went on and beyond to help me, had great service which is really appreciated.

I just purchased a few things this morning and paid using the self service machine and afterwards I walked over to the ATM to withdraw cash and was prevented. Not only prevented but had a couple employees standing nearby watching while in a rather shallow discussion to mask the attention I was getting. Never was able to withdraw anything until I went to another nearby store and had no problems withdrawing needed cash. To disturbing having so much surveillance at the machines.

Even though it was a little slow due to the holidays it was very prompt and they have a multiple of opportunities that help make shopping easier for holidays and more.

I wish they would update their card readers, because they don’t work half the time and the employees are very rude and dismissive about it.

Good prices and the people seem to be nice

I have called this location several times and they never pick up the phone. I also had to listen to a long message in Spanish, which I don’t understand. Why don’t you just make an option for people that don’t understand Spanish to press English? Since we’re not in Mexico

Target is my FAVORITE store to shop at! Even if it can be a bit pricey. I have gone to the Fresno South Store for 25 years and dont like going anywhere else.

I honestly love the Target Drive-Up option so much. Especially during the pandemic. It’s been so helpful. I have a toddler who won’t wear a face mask. I don’t want to risk taking him into the store. So I use Target Drive-Up for all my necessities. It’s so helpful and probably the only reason why I shop at Target. I always get my items fast, I never have to wait, the app is so easy to use! Workers are always so friendly. It’s fast, convenient and I just love it so much! Cannot day enough good things about it. Not to mention Target will usually have deals and if you have a target card you get 5% off. If you’re a regular circle member you get 1% cash back. I mean better than nothing. It still helps during hard times. Everything is done electronically and it’s just super convenient. I mean you order your items on the app and 4 hours or less they’ll be ready for pick up. I cannot recommend it enough. 👌🏼

Get your stuff from Amazon! Especially during Amazon prime day. Target will not price match on these days, so get it cheaper online! Just tried to price match, but they refuse to price match on prime days

Friendly staff clean store and stocked nicely

It was quiet. They have a lot of stuff that I wish I could buy. The store is so far the most disorganized target I’ve ever been to and the shelves were very dusty. I was very surprised by that. Targets are usually neat & shiny. The few employees I saw were very friendly & stayed busy. They probably just should hire hire at least one more person to keep the store looking a little bit more presentable. The cashier needs to smile a bit more tho. It could make someone’s day.☮️ ☮️

I went to this target kind of late at night, the parking lot felt a bit sketchy. Inside the store was fine, typical target, no complaints. but the parking lot did not feel safe. not sure what the store could do to fix it though

This store is disorganized. Target pushes so hard to be trendy and ended up being low on stock to fit in everything. I never leave this store with the things I came for because they often are out....1 checkstand open with 2 employees at self check out? I had to ask them to get another checker because there were 10 people behind me in line.Great for toilet paper and thats about it

The assistant that I received was on time. I usually have to go looking for help. Store was far more organized. I like that in this complexed world. Cut my shopping time 30 minutes shorter. This is important to my busy schedule. Have you ever approached someone that works on the floor and they see you approaching them with a questionable look on your face and they suddenly turn and vanished to avoid you ? That seems to be the norm these days so it’s refreshing when you get someone happy to assist you

I went in for an interview last temp-call and was turned down, I figured they found someone much more professional and experiencedwent for some cat food the other day and every worker (not exaggerating) was on their phone, talking to each other, and not paying attention to a mess literally 5 feet away from themthe workers up near the self checkout respond quick tho when the thing messed up my order

The store has practically everything that you would need for your household. Its clean and organized, and the employees are friendly and helpful. Some items could be priced a little bit lower, but there are markdowns on occasion.

The store layout is getting very nice looking and there were PLENTY of representatives on the floor to assist me on my visit today. The only reason i did not select 10 and chose 9 out of 10 is that the prices can be a bit high and my check out experience is usually lacking. The cashiers seem tired of assisting while the self-check out would have the friendliest and most helpful cashier BUT i dont like having to use self-check out.

Had a little issue with our Gear 2 watch but Crystal, the manager was super helpful. She helped us with how we may exchange or get store credit for the watch due to not having the receipt. She also took the time to show us other variety of smart watches. Very kind and patient.

I like Target. This Target has gotten better over time. They probably need to redo their parking situation though.

I love Target, but at the particular Target near my house, there are NEVER enough check stands open, and as a result the lines and wait to check out are always very long. Its to the point where if I need to pop in and out of a store for something, I avoid our Target. Last night there were only two cashiers, and each of them had 4 to 5 people with large carts in their lines. The Self-Check out has 4 stations, however they were all full, and in that line, I had 2 carts in front of me waiting, and another 4 behind me. This is not an isolated incident either. Like I said, it is never a quick wait and lines are always long like this, with minimal cashiers. Even during the holiday season, I never saw more than a few cashiers. I have never ever seen all cashier stations open at the same time, and I think thats saying something.

Great location. However customer service representative were very rude when trying to return something my mom purchased, but lost receipt. Bottom line if you need to return anything or would like good customer service avoid this location. A few more miles to the other locations in town which are much more friendlier.

Efficiency of service. How well the isles are stocked. Friendliness of staff. Always looks clean and if you cannot find something, staff helps you as much as they can.

Clean store, short lines, helpful team members

Target always has nice quality products. The stores do a good job of being clean, orderly, full stock, and having many great bargains to choose from. Great for some groceries, clothing, and home and office supplies. Great variety of toys for the kids on your shopping list for birthdays & holidays.

DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS STORE. Very rude and unfriendly staff, especially in guest services. I went to pick up my online order and an agent cancelled one of the items because another customer wanted it (but I truly believe it was for herself) and even after she cancelled one of the items I didnt get a refund for it and its been 3 days. The order was supposed to be ready within 2 hours but they didnt have it available until the following day. THERE IS NEVER ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THE ASSOCIATES ACTIONS. If I could give 0 stars I would with a negative in front. You literally have to hunt an associate down to get help and they will duck and Dodge you, or say Im new etc. The restrooms are often nasty and their loss prevention targets a certain demographic.

Product quality

This particular Target store is in need of some creative thinking. The associates are friendly and more often, then not, are quite helpful. But the coverage at the checkouts is often skimpy during peek hours and/or days.Many times the merchandise is in disarray and home spots are empty. I realize customers are greatly guilty parties for this happening...but floor coverage is, as well. Many times an associate will find the item in the stock room when Ive requested a quick check.Id rather shop at Target than its competition. This one is where Ive shopped Target since it opened. Though, Im finding less of what I enjoyed shopping here for.Please get some retail-creative/Target, Run & Done back into this location.😉

Friendly customer service. All of the Team Members have a great attitude and are courteous and ready to help. Out of all of the Targets in the Fresno/Clovis area, I prefer to shop at this Target because of the great customer service.

This store has recently been remodeled inside. Really nicelydone it has a very modern look lighting and all. The departments are very nice and very easy to find whatever department you may be looking for . BEAUTIFULLY DONE .NICEST TARGET IN FRESNO. THIS IS THE SOUTHSIDE TARGET I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD SEE IT. IT MIGHT BE YOUR FAVORITE TOO. Prices are the same.

Target remodeled their entire store it looks just as good as the target at River Park shopping center and it seems bigger than it was before the food area is different there still working on it though and theres only 1 line for returning/pick up items for when you order items online that is why I only order cat items, and anything that can be delivered to me which is greatly appreciated.

This store has plenty of staff that are helpful and go out of the way to find things for you. I shop during the day because there is homeless wondering around the store on the outside. The staff do a great job and moving the homeless along; however, I prefer shop in that area in the daytime.

My spot to find a good sale. I use a lot of Sheath Moisture products like black soap, and it normally is seven dollars I find it here for 2.50. Also they have body wash such as soft scrub cocoa butter two bottles for the price of one!

The employees arent very helpful when you need to find something. I know they remodeled a little bit ago. But they should be able to point you in the right direction by now. Its a lot cleaner but the parking lot is irritating. They need more lights when its getting late. Or just rearrange the all the parking spots because Ive had several people almost hit me. I feel like they need security to keep watch as well. The whole are isnt good but something about this store just makes you feel off.

If I can put zero star I would do it because I’ve had the most embarrassing experience at this Target at Shields and First. While we were walking out of the store around 10:25 AM, a security randomly stopped us and pulled my friend aside. The security told us that he specifically needed to talk to her only. He discussed with her that they witnessed her stealing something. They said they “were certain” that she had stolen something and put it in her purse. She took out all of the stuff in her bag and there was no stolen item. After that we asked if we can see the footage of where she had put something in her bag. They said that we couldn’t see the footage. The security said he was told through his headset that their AP witnessed my friend steal something. They were not being specific whatsoever. The security was being very cocky that she had stolen something. Also the security was being rude the whole time. While we questioned him, he kept giving everyone rude looks. We asked if we can talk to their AP but he said no and continued to give us attitude. We were upset that this had to happen to us out of all days. We didn’t get any apologies or anything. The security also told one of my friends who had questioned him that quote on quote “you can’t win this.” Like what is that supposed to mean? We had called the store manager and he didn’t say much besides he would talk to the security guy about it. The store manager himself said he couldn’t show us the footage because they have “different policies” than other stores. I know that other stores like Walmart would pull you aside and show you actual footage of us. He apologized for the incessant but said it like he didn’t care. If anything, I would never go to this Target again. Like I had said in the beginning, this was the most embarrassing experience for us. They’ve given themselves a bad reputation for our eyes now. Never again will I visit this careless Target. They were very unprofessional throughout the whole situation. Again, this was the Target at Shields and First.

One comment was that it wasnt in a good area, the area is in central part of Fresno, really nothing to worry about. This store is a lot cleaner and quiet then Wal-Mart. At least you get a chance to shop in peace rather having to hear some fat woman scream at her kids across the store. The T over the W any day.

This Target is about 2/3 the size of the others in town, so its organized totally differently. However, they carry the same things, just less of it. I found everything I was looking for. For some reason, you arent allowed to use coupons at the self checkout at this location, where you can at all the others (Cartwheel still works). While Id say its the worst Target in town, it isnt a horrible store.

Kind of sloppy and messy compared to the other targets i go to. But it is expected since the demographic that shop there in that area are rude people. It used to be a very nice target and still is, however it has seem some homeless activity and it made me feel like i was at walmart.
