I love their cookies. Great variety and always yummy. The staff is friendly. A tad on the pricey side for cookies but worth it.

Went in on Saturday before 5:00 p.m. they had hardly any cookies some snickerdoodles, oatmeal chocolate chip and some macadamia nuts We asked if they were making any more cookies the gentleman told us they could not make any more cookies because of the time, its 5 and they close at 7. Thats 2 hours. They didnt want to be there. There was a few people in line waiting outside to enter the shop and some walked in and turned right around and left. Not happy. I understand there not going to make a whole bunch of cookies but man at least chocolate chip. Fig garden is the main shop I go too, I buy a couple dozen a month. Will not return.

The guy gave my friend and me a military discount since we served on the East Coast for COVID medical response. The cookies were delicious. So soft and chewy. Mmmmmm.

As always, this place does not disappoint.The cookies are decadent and well worth the price.Our cookies were fresh as daisies! Naturally, we set them to cool in the refrigerator for a bit.Every time we visit we have to get a boxed dozen as there are way too many flavors to choose from!

By far the best peanut butter cookies EVER!!! I love the smell of this place. I always say, I hope heaven smells like that! Ive never had a bad experience here.

The employee Leah was amazing. My card was not going through and initially she thought it was their terminal and she was trying everything to make it go through, it turns out it was my bank who had thought that I was committing fraud purchasing 300 cookies. even after finding out that it was my bank she never once had an attitude, she was the model customer service representative I would give her a million stars if I could and hungry bear cookies is so lucky to have her.

I need to get better at pictures but pictures do these cookies absolutely no justice, simply the best cookies I have ever had, that staff was friendly and sweet. Im not a snickerdoodle guy but it was my favorite out the four flavors we tried, then came the chocolate swirl at a very close second, the oatmeal chocolate chip came in third and the peanut butter chocolate chip was the fourth but in no way was it worse or bad, it was not an overwhelming peanut flavor found in similar flavored cookies. Simply the best, well worth the 1.70 for each cookie. Will post pictures in my next visit

Worst customer service ever! This isnt the first time. I have tried several times to keep an open mind, but today was my last straw. Never are we greeted with Hi welcome to Hungry Bear, how can we help you? but instead a near growl of Ill be right with you. And it is not extremely busy or crowded to warrant such a curt reproach. Instead, maybe there is one person ahead of us, ordering possibly one or two cookies. Then once I bought my cookie, I paid with cash. You would have thought I had paid in feces. The total was $1.69 so I handed the cashier a ten dollar bill and 9 pennies. She angrily counted the pennies, with a couple falling hard on the counter. She then entered $10.10 into the cash register. I pointed out nicely, excuse me, this isnt correct (seeing $8.41 as the change due) She replied Im giving you back your change! with a scowl on her face. I pointed out, again, that I gave her 9 cents so the $8.41 was incorrect. She then raised her voice at me and declared that I had given her 10 pennies. I then said excuse me, did I do something to offend you. and she replied with no expression, no. I then asked why she was treating me rudely and she didnt apologize, but just denied that she was. My 2 friends were in the shop at that time, and another person entered and exited the shop as we did, and they all confirmed she was clearly mean. Everytime we visit this cookie shop, the employees are simply mean. It is a cookie shop, not hard outdoor manual labor. Im NEVER going back again.

Id give no stars, so Ill settle for one star. I was in town for business and I travel for my work. I was recommended to check out Hungry Bear Cookies. The employees were rude and stuck up. They cannot listen to orders correctly. I said boxes with each box to have one of each cookies. Instead, they gave me several of the cookies that were not selling (they did this when I was on the phone, looking away). The cookies were not worth it and too expensive. Theyre cookies. You could bake better cookies yourself. I bought 54 cookies, so do the math of how much I spent. I do not mind spending a lot of money at a business, but that was the first and last time Id go to Hungry Bear Cookies. No wonder there were no other customers before or after I was there. WARNING, buy your cookies elsewhere if youre in the neighborhood.

I agree with the first review, the clerks are not only mean they are unpleasant. Lucky for the owners the cookies are the very best ever. I would rate clerks = no stars, cookies 6 plus stars!

Oh my lordy, sweet, sweet, sugar dream lordy! The sugar cookies here have a have a way of crumbling in your mouth that induce a wide-awake wet dream. Its a consistency that Ive never experienced anywhere else.The chocolate chip cookies are chewy and the chips never get hard. They basically taste like they were just baked all the time. I would say this is true even after a few days, but Ive never managed to not devour them all within minutes of seeing them.Between the crumbling sugar dreams and chewy chocolate chip cookies, this place mind-boggingly defies cookie physics.
