I am very happy with the granite that Valley Stone Works installed in my kitchen. I recommend them. I had a similar situation to Mr. Johnson below: The stove was tight when I had tile. It was hard to get the stove in and out. I knew that I would need to trim the cabinet faces back a little after the granite was installed. I used to do cabinet work so I am familiar with this. There was only about 1/16” inch between the cabinet faces and the two sides of the stove. The old tile was flush with the cabinet faces. We decided on 3/16” spacing on each side. That meant that I had to trim 1/8” of wood off each side, which I did. The stove fits in just like it should. Mr. Johnson should have let Zody explain this to him. All he needs to do is what I did. Trim away the extra wood. I recommend Valley Stone Works.

Have Enjoyed my Shower ever since it was installed by Valley Stone Works a few years ago!!! At the time of the installation I had them regrind a kitchen sink opening that had been done wrong by different company. They were able to do it in place and did a Fabulous Job!Recently, I had them come to my house to Clean-up an install that had been done by a different installer prior to me finding Zody. They were able to work on the stone in place and refinish the edges.Both Jobs were done properly and Cleanly!!!

My summary opinion is wow; my new granite kitchen counter is gorgeous. What I hadnt considered when looking at counters at the depot type stores is that with them you pick counter materials from samples and you dont really get an idea of what you will end up with. Zody from Valley Stone Works took me to a local granite supply company and we looked at many granite slabs and picked out the slab of granite that my counter top would be made from. He showed me which parts the the slab would go where. Now that its been installed in my kitchen I am very impressed with their work. Theres only one seam and its difficult to see. Great job guys!

Valley Stone Works does amazing work! Zody (owner) walked us through the entire project from granite selection to installation and was onsite working with his crew. Our kitchen was completed on time and on budget. Our favorite part is the amazing granite back splash and all of the attention to detail that a professional like himself brings to the table. We loved the work so much we are going to have him do our bathrooms!We highly recommend his business for anyone interested in terrific stone work!

Zody did a wonderful job in providing a solution to install granite in my kitchen. By using a super slab we were able to get the entire job out of one slab. Saved me money. Zody had pictures on his table that he could show me at my home so that when I met him at the stone yard, I already knew what slab would work and could quickly confirm my selection. His staff was prompt, courteous and efficient.The whole process was completed simply and timely. The workmanship is superb. As everyone knows, doing a remodel can be a nightmare. Subcontractors rarely do what they agree to, workers are late for appointments, designs are altered without consultation from us, the customer and costs seem to go up like magic.Happily, none of these nightmares were made reality when ordering custom granite for our kitchen counters from Zody of Valley Stoneworks. We chose Zody to install granite countertops in our kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room because of his attention to detail and craftmanship. His work is simply outstanding. During the initial meeting, he explained every aspect of the job. Then he met me at the business where we were purchasing our granite and helped me obtain even better granite slabs than we had originally selected.Throughout the process, he patiently answered my many questions and promptly and courteously returned our calls.He personally lays out the templates on the granite and views the process from an artistic standpoint, making sure that the layout will maximize the beauty of the unique features in your slabs. His finish work is outstanding, and the seams and bullnosing are beautifully done. His helpers are friendly and do good work. The couple of minor issues that came up were dealt with swiftly and professionally. He has our highest recommendation.

I was more than pleased with Zody, his team and my gorgeous granite kitchen counters! Zody and his team are true artists! Our slabs had many beautiful colors and unique patterns. Zody methodically placed the pieces to be the most inviting and beautiful! It has dramatically changed the look of our home! The craftsmen who cut and created the edge and sink cutouts on our counters were also meticulous and wanted nothing less than perfection. Its basically impossible to see where the seam and edge pieces are put together. I couldnt be happier with the customer service and quality of work given to me by Valley Stone Works.

When his workers came out, they were on-time, courteous, and just did a great job overall. Amazing job and even fixed the mistakes of others on a kitchen countertop seam.

I would not recommend Zody or Valley Stone. When grinding away Granite counter top installed by Valley Stone to fit new Stove, workers did a sloppy job and ground away too much granite exposing bare unfinished wood of cabinet. I called Zody and told him how displeased I was. He said he would redo the whole job if he had to and that he would come by and evaluate what could be done. Upon his Arrival he said his workers did what I had told them to, which is not true. Now the side of my stove has gaping crooked crevasse. After some heated discussion of him telling me that his workers did a good job and me telling him how terrible it looks, I told him to get out of my house. He didnt say a word, he just left. I hired Valley Stone after Zodys presentation on quality control. Clearly quality is not a concern with Valley Stone.

We recently used Valley Stone Works for a complete remodel of our kitchen and bathrooms and couldnt be happier with the results. Their work is second to none. Zodys attention to detail is unparalleled in the industry. They put in the extra time to match the right piece to the right area of your counter-top and perfectly match your edges to the top as well. We also used VSW at our previous home and used them for my moms house as well. If you want the highest quality work at a very fair price, you should look no further than VSW.

My husband and I had Valley Stone Works install granite countertops and full height backsplashes in our kitchen in 2009. Zody, the owner, took great care to place the best looking parts of the granite pattern in the most conspicuous areas. It required 3 slabs of granite but there is only one seam in the backsplash and one seam behind the stove. He did mitered drop edges and it turned out beautifully.We were so happy with the job he did for us before, we hired him again last month to do bathroom countertops and a shower door jamb in granite. Again, he did a beautiful job and took great care to make sure we were satisfied. His employees, Johnny and Chris, were hard workers and kept the job site clean. I was home while they did the work and asked a lot of questions which were always answered in full and to my satisfaction.I am very satisfied with Zody and Valley Stone Works and would recommend them to anyone looking for a granite fabricator/installer. I would use them again without reservation.
