My bike repair store from now on! Confession: I buy my kids bikes from big box stores to save $. I recently took one of the bikes to a repair shop (not Sun & Ski) and the guy told me there was no point repairing such a cheap bike. Sun & Ski Sports was quite the opposite. They were incredibly polite. They fixed the bike. And they never tried to talk me into replacing it with a bike from their store.

I am glad I ordered my bike and accessories online for store pickup. I did not have to deal with mixed level of services at the Frisco location. One of the employees literally snapped at me in front of my daughter for showing her how to shift gears on a bike claiming I could damage the bike. If the bike is so fragile and not able to handle some shifting in the store, how could it handle all the shifting I would do while I ride. Luckily for me, I got another employee to help me with the bike install. The second employee was extremely helpful. The price of the bike is same as every where else. I am guessing with the bike shortage, they dont need to provide consistent friendly service to sell their bikes. The bike comes with a lifetime tuning service at the store. Hopefully, I will be able to take advantage of it without being harassed for riding my bike too hard and incorrectly....

I got the best deal on my bicycle, better than anyone else. 300.00 lower than any deal on the market. The service is impeccable and affordable. So pleased with the associates at Sun & Ski.

The team has been most helpful and friendly to us regarding ski equipment. The ski shop service has been great in setting up and maintaining our gear.

Problem with my visit was with the customer service and the friendliness of the staff - one of them was really good - me and my wife were looking at bikes and she explained everything needed. Had issues with another person at a different section of the store - he was rude and dubious about us (we both felt this). Later returned to this store to return the item (wrong sizes) - same experience then.Edit - the store manager called me to discuss the problem - I wont be returning to this store, but it was good for the store manager to contact me to sort out the issue.

Weve been planning our trip for months to visit our daughter in Texas. Our plan was to purchase two bikes. The staff at this store went way above for us. Yes went left spending considerably more money. But we got everything we needed. In addition to two STRIDERS for the babies. We got light packs too. Going back again today for for bike items. GREAT PLACE TO SHOP.

I purchased two Cannondale bikes here. One of the “benefits” was free maintenance on the bikes. Both my son and I have had lingering issues and we have put both bikes in simultaneously three times. Every time we got home the issue is not fixed. So we had to load up and take them back again. I was heading in for a fourth time and finally had enough. I decided to go to Richardson Bike Mart instead. Yes, I paid a small service fee, but I picked up both bikes today and both are correctly fixed and operational. I will never service anything at sun and ski again and I will definitely be heading over to give RIchardson Bike Mart a positive review next.

They gave me time with my son.For years I couldn’t be in ski boots for lore then 20 mins without experiencing severe pain in my feet. Last year my son went skiing for the first time and he took to it like a duck to water. I skied with him but the pain I experienced limited the time I could spend with him on the slopes. I was desperate for a solution. I went in looking at the apex boot on the advise from a different employee a year ago. I met Ben and spent a good 30 mins talked about what I wanted and got an honest opinion on what boot would suite me best. I came back a week later to find a boot and solve my problem. Ben spent an hour with me trying on three different boots but couldn’t find the proverbial glass slipper.He told me that he wanted me to try on a boot that they didn’t have in stock before buying something else. The store in downtown had the boot and had them hood it for me. I ended up buying that boot and just spent 3 days skiing with my son. Something I wasn’t sure I would ever be able to do.While I didn’t buy from Ben he put me on the right path to make sure I had the right boot, not the right sale.TDLR: if you need any ski equipment go see Ben. He’s one of if not the most honest salesmen I have ever had the pleasure of working with!

I had an excellent experience buying a mountain bike. Brian Smith helped me. I ask a lot of questions and I’m not impulse buyer. Brian was very patient with me, addressing any questions and really helping me understand the features of my options. I have no doubt I bought the right bike. Went in to buy some components for my bike. Was blown away by the customer service, knowledge and friendliness of staff. I ended up buying 3 bikes because I was so impressed! Amazing bike buying experience. Wasn’t pushed into any bike that wasn’t for me or that I wasn’t interested in. They were very patient with me and answered all my questions. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Seem to have a good quantity of selection compared to the store size. Can only speak poorly to customer service though. Visited with intent to purchase two bikes today but could not seem to get any service. Our presence was known as everyone enjoyed petting the dog as we looked at product for 25 minutes.

Ive bought bikes from Sun and Ski and Ive bought bikes from other shops. No matter where I get the bike from the fact is that I always take my ride to Sun and Ski to get it serviced and/or upgraded. The service is always good and informative. The price is always better than most places. The turn around time on service is the fastest I have ever seen anywhere. If something doesnt go the way I think its supposed to they always just say Bring it back in.. They make things right.

So before going to Sun and Ski in Frisco I was quite the bike shop snob. I only went to cycling specific shops, and wouldnt have it any other way. Well after my first visit to the bike shop at Sun and Ski Frisco I was pleasantly surprised! This place was great.I couldnt disagree with the previous post more in regards to the staff and products. From what I can tell, the previous review was made during the first few weeks of opening. After working in retail, I know that it takes new shops and stores a few weeks or months even to get settled in.In regards to the product selection, (specifically bikes) its not huge (compared to mega bike shops), but is definitely quality. Ive been racing bikes for 6+ years and would race any of their bikes in a CAT1 race anytime.In regards to the staff, I was blown away. Every person I came in contact with was more than willing to help me and answer any questions I had. The guys back in the bike shop were awesome.I ended up purchasing a bike there and have been 100% happy with the bike. I bought the protection plan with the bike and it was the best $$$ Ive spent there. Ive taken it in twice for normal maintenance and they immediately get to work checking the bike over.If youre looking for a bike shop that will give you individual attention and not the same mumbo jumbo other bikes shop give you, go hit up Sun and Ski Frisco. You wont regret it.

We bought two mountain bikes here and have had a great experience with the customer service. We recently had an issue with the front brakes on one of the bikes and they made an exceptional effort to get at least ready to ride for the day. They put a temporary system on the front and ordered the right part. This special effort they made allowed us to get out on the trails that same day.Great job here and I highly recommend Sun & Ski in Frisco.

Very helpful when buying merchandise. Worst service when returning an item. Bought a ski helmet. Took it with me for skiing. Skied for an hour. It was larger than I need. So took it for return and the woman at customer service gave me a lot of grief. I had to take the helmet back with me😞

Overall ... its been said before but the staff here is beyond knowledgeable. They care about what they know ... so they are more incline to help you understand what you can and may not be able to achieve. I shop in store and online ...

The customer service guy was very helpful. He helped us find some Vibram Five Finger shoes. Nobody else in town seem to carry them anymore. I was glad to find them there. The selection of stuff they had wasnt really that impressive. It was a bunch of clothes and some random Sun & Fun Stuff.

What a horrible experience. Best reason to buy online is visiting this store. Staff seemed helpful with product as long as you buy the most expensive brands but none of the advice seems based on personal knowledge just what they have read on the tags. Manager wouldn’t match sale price online because he said the color was not the same despite the website using that color for its picture. It wasn’t worth a $45 discount on a $450 ski jacket to keep a customer. Do what everyone else does and go there to try stuff on to get the right size and then go buy it online for a fair price. Don’t waste money on a retail store like this with horrible customer service.

Classical example of WORST Customer service & bad attitude.The Store Manager “Brian” has Bossy attitude for its employees and customers. He behaves really ill with the customers who try to return anything. He didn’t shy away even saying that he is the manager and his word is the last word. That is his attitude.I have requested a Company’s customer service to arrange a call with customer service manager. Lets see..

These guys helped me all of the way through my first triathlon...even though I only bought the bike from them. Theyre always there with helpful advice, and the return/exchange policy is the same as Nordstroms. They also have great annual bike sales on last years model if you dont care about the model year of your bike.

Great service! Did additional work on my sons bike and didnt charge me for the parts nor the labor. We went to get his chain fixed and he needed new handle bars and new peddles and they replaced all at no charge.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR BIKE REPAIRS. I brought in a new bike to get the shifts fixed. They tried to fix the bike 3 times and they couldnt. I asked them if they could look at it again and they refused;they said the bike was working perfectly. IT WAS NOT. I asked for a refund and they were very disrespectful and made rude comments about me. if you need a repair go to Richardson Bike Mart, i went there right after they messed my bike up and they even fixed it for free. Richardson is more expensive but they actually have experience.

I really cant say enough good things about this store and its staff. Brought one of my Mavic mountain bike wheels in with a broken spoke. The manager, Ryan, not only replaced the spoke but he went the next step to contact Mavic about the hub. Turns out the hub had a faulty design and needed to be replaced. Sun and Ski saved me some serious money! Thank you Ryan for going the extra mile and taking great care of me!

Giving a five star solely based on the service we received from Brittain. My husband was looking for a warm winter jacket rated for extreme weather conditions. Brittain was very helpful and knowledgeable. I know a lot of people would agree, when shopping for a product its very rare to find a sales rep that actually knows the product inside out, including relevant comparables availlabe on the market. Needless to say, we were blown away by the amount of knowledge he was able to share with us. Thanks Brittain!

Worst customer service... Went to pick up online order and they couldnt find and had to wait and wait... A person doesnt even look for my order and talking with other staffs, looking at phone and joke about my order like no one wants this products thats why cannot find?... I just returned and its nothing to do with products just didnt like their customer service. I will never buy anything from Sun & Ski.

A big THANK YOU to Ryan (Store Manager) and Brittain (Handsgood Mgr). I chose a newer type of ski boot called Apex and Ryan spent the time answering all the questions and concerns I had. He could have easily steered me to a more expensive boot, but he worked within my range. Brittain spent his time making sure the boot fit correctly and more importantly I was comfortable with the fit and understood the mechanics of the boot. Thanks again for the guidance and assistance!

Great experience purchasing a very nice mtb race bike on 10/24/17! Brian Smith took time and patience to review options and explain the Orbea line of products. I test rode several bikes and the Orbea OIZ came to the top. They fitted me for the bike. The experience was awesome!I rode the new bike the very next day and was elated to be able to ride a bike that fit me well.I will am recommending Sun and Ski to my friends and passing along how well Brian Smith took care of me as a customer.

Had just what we were looking for and the price was reasonable.

I when there for hot wax with 2 brand new snowboards I send wife to pickup when I got the board out of the bag I found 3 big scratches on the board unable to get some type of help or money back or board replace never againg do not go there for this type of service.

Go to this store if you want to see what it is like to be invisible. Stood at the front counter for 15 or more minutes while 6 people up front rang up customers and completely ignored me. In between ringing up customers, they were texting on their cell phones. Why is it so hard to try to get help to look at ski goggles that cost $250+. Completely wasted my time. Dont waste yours.

Worst customer service. While on the way to check out one of the boys who worked their almost ran me over bc he was too busy trying to teach one of the girls who worked their how to ride an electric skate board. Btw....I have a broken foot and I am in a boot. Whatever I ignored it. So I figured once he saw us heading to check out he would stop and come check us out....nope. He continued on flirting with his co-worker. Ok, fine...there was another associate behind the desk who could check us out. That associate looked at us then walked away. My husband and I ended up standing their for 10 minutes waiting to be checked out. If it wasnt for a certain jacket that my husband wanted we would have gone somewhere else. I will no longer shop here and give them my business.
