Pharmacy was spot on with Covid-19 vaccinations. They have all 3 vaccines and the boosters. Short wait! Kisha was working hard to give shots and move people along. Thanks for all you do!

Update : 9/14 Not only does self checkout take time because there are not enough lanes open . I had beer in my purchase and stood there staring at the young man after I was done scanning but it took him a while because his cell phone was more important than customers . I waited on purpose just to see how long the distracted one would wake up .Also the plastic bag recycling box is gone again .Covid shortages again, 8/2021.Self checkout is always backed up because Walmart is too cheap to have the other registers opened.

Love the new layout for the store, much more breathable. Was able to find everything I was looking for, and get out quick. Checkout lines move quickly, but I would never go here on a Sunday, very crowded!

Well, how do I say this.... MOST of the PEOPLE who work here SUCK!!! If you try to ask a question, they either dont know, ignore you, or look at you like you from MARS or something!!!Now onto the stock.... This is if you can find what you need! The best time to go is the early morning!! You have your best chance of finding MOST of what your looking for!! I have had to CLIMB to get to the back of the top shelf to get what I needed, thats AFTER looking all over and going up front and requesting they send someone to where I would be to help me. After 15 minutes of waiting, I just got it myself!! Now I KNOW BETTER!!! MOST of the time, everything is up on the riser, the very TOP SHELF, AND FINDING SOMEONE TO GET IT IS LIKE HUNTING FOR A NEEDLE IN A HAYSTACK, and if you HAPPEN to find someone, again comes the blank stare, the NO I cant do that, not my area, ECT..ECT..ECT....SO, if you only need a few things or you go in the morning, GREAT, OTHERWISE, I would RECOMMEND trying another Wal-Mart!!! There is one, a better one, 10 or 15 minutes down the road.JUST MY HUMBLE OPINION 😌🤔😊

Good although as always its long lines. They should make the self checkout area alot bigger and have their employees assisting with them.

To start off Im 9 months pregnant with 3 kids at home, made my order for delivery from about 2pm was suppose be delivered between 7-8pm. Shortly after 7pm i was informed that theyre running behind on getting my order together and will update me as soon as they had a driver. Its now 10:46pm i have yet to hear from anyone at Walmart and no body is answering the phones. Very poor customer service. They dont even deserve a star

Shopping is great. If you dont find an item, it is sold out or discontinued. It is nothing to get upset about. The departments may need to be more detailed and faster ordering good selling items or scanning one code and getting an overflow of what is not needed and not having what the consumer needs.

Food tends to spoil fast from here. Fruits and vegetables seem to only last a few days in the fridge. Leaving apples and peach on the counter for a quick walk by snack is impossible. Down in Florida we could leave them for a week with no issues. Here they spoil in a day or so. Hard to buy bulk when they spoil before you have a chance to eat them. Bread is another problem we have here. Mold on them after a few days of buying them. Other than that, we enjoy shopping here.

What an awful experience. I drove a long way to visit in order to pick up something that was showing up as in stock. Went to the Electronics section and there was no one there. I waited for about 10 minutes and a very sweet employee who was off the clock came by and announced over the intercom that there was a customer in Electronics that needed help when she saw my just standing there. She did this again 10 minutes later because she too was waiting for someone to help her kid purchase a phone. In the end no one that works in Electronics actually showed up. I waited around 30 or 35 minutes before another gentleman tried to help me but he didnt work in Electronics either and I left the store, went to the Target across the street and made my purchase. Im never going back to this Walmart again. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I drove out an hour to reach the store and my visit was an immense disappointment.

I shop for most of my groceries here and rarely have issues, but when it happens its usually easy to resolve without delay. Others can dog on Walmart but all I have to say is thanks!

Big news. Apparently Walmart is a COVID-free zone. So feel free to join the 95% of those inside this massive petri dish and leave your mask at home. Sure, they have masks at the entry areas, but only to mock those who put them on.Oh, and clothing appears to be optional, too.

I use Walmart pick up ALL the time and they are amazing! The associates are always so friendly and get my order right everytime. I love pick up because it saves me from buying random things I dont need. 😄 Thank you guys for all the hard work, its appreciated!

This Walmart stays very busy all the time and its one of the biggest ones in the area so youll find some items here that you wont find at some of the smaller Walmarts. Online pickup group is very friendly and very fast. The Auto and tire center are a good group of people also.

The Walmart grocery pick is extremely slow. I choose this service to save time. We a mom with a newborn, and kids in school waiting thirty minutes for my things after arriving is crazy! I could shop in 30 min myself. No one answers the phone when I call I’m extremely frustrated.

Went to fix a flat tire, I was told the wait is 3 hours if I am lucky, I went couple of days after and I was told they are under staffed and can not help me,Went today, same issue (under staffed).This is not the employees fault, it is corporate. Hire more people and pay them good, also have a system where customers can request and reserve service.

I have a love hate relationship with Walmart, I go in there needing a few things and walk out with a whole cart full, lol! I love all of my local Walmarts, other than Woodstock always being sold out of a lot of stuff. I go there because I can get everything and anything I need all in one place.

The most commonly purchased items are often out of stock and when the customer service line is long, they dont add another cashier quickly enough. At least twice I was in a line of about 6 people for more than 20 minutes...with only one cashier the whole time. I prefer to go to the Walmart at 201 Maranto Manor Dr, Winchester, VA 22602.

Worst wallmart Ive been to. Only ever has 1 or 2 lanes open. Lack of staff. Seen staff multiple times walking around on there phones. Unorganized under staffed under managed

Manager. Are no were to be found..... 1, and half hours. To get someone to do a simple fishing license..Crazy. At 7am.

Good for a small town, dont expect a city type of selection, one of the first super walmarts, it has enough to meet local expectations and no mini stores like hair cutters, McDonalds, etc on the inside. It meets the minimal standards of what you need instead of want.

Ever since the store mgr Rob was kicked to the curb, the store has really turned around.With the recent increases in starting pay, they seem to have acquired more friendly faces.

Incredibly long lines very few cashiers, the self-checkout line was incredibly long. Perhaps this is due to not being able to get enough employees but man it really sucks waiting in line for 30 minutes to buy three things even in a self checkout line. Made a grocery order on sept 3 to be delivered sept 4th between 4 and 5pm. Got a email stating that my order would be delayed. Got another email a few minutes later stating that some items were either out of stock or needed to be subed out. A few minutes later i got a email stating what itema were subed and what was out of stock. I tried calling the store 6 times now. I have been hung up on all 6 times. I tried calling corporate to see if they could get ahold of them just so i could find out when my order would be delivered and they were no help. The said they could give me a contact number for the store manger and they ended up giving me my own phone number. I have never had a issue before from thia Walmart but this is gettong ridiculous.

I called the Wal-Mart store in Front Royal, VA and they said over the phone they would cash our check. Both signatures were there signed. The customer associate said no. At 435 pm spoke with store manager Geoff who said he would do it for me since I would spend money at his store. He said okay. Then talked to a cms and she said no. What a horrible experience here. I drove so many miles to this store after that phone call. What horrible service, not to mentioned never have enough cashiers compared to Target. Where they actually want to help you, and have better customer service, and better prices.

Rude employees. Shelves were empty. The grocery pickers for online shoppers were extremely careless with the buggy cutting people off and just throwing the customers items into the crates. Once I checked out the lady at the door accused me off stealing sodas bc she didnt see them on the receipt. Needless to say made me feel very uncomfortable and her look crazy/dumb bc they were clear as day on my receipt.

I love this store, never a rush and never enough registers opened ....

Sad to see this giant slowly diminish in stature. Food quality, sometimes less desirable. Service available to walk in customers,sometimes only two registers open. Definitely a concentration on pick up, on line shopping. Still a good place to get ones excercise, since merchandise is moved periodically.

Sunday morning and 2 registers open out of 20. You would think what Walmart skips on taxes and decent pay they could hire a few cashiers. However like all Walmart locations they make you suffer hoping you will work for free and checkout yourself. This store is why we can’t have nice things but where else can you buy mulch, a shotgun, and a goldfish?

This is a relatively clean and well kept Walmart. They need to do a better job of keeping the shelves stocked. It seems they are always out of basic things.

Worst WalMart everI am totally disabled and rely on stores mobility scootersTheres are never chargedI have seen three of four sitting unplugged in parking lot so they cant be used.I have called store management and nothing happensI now drive an extra ten minutes to another WalMart where mobility carts are always plugged in and properly charged for disabled shoppers.

Very clean Walmart. The gentleman in hardware is especially helpful. Found everything we needed with ease.

I do like Walmart, they have almost anything you want and their Pharmacy is top notch but I try to avoid this Walmart in particular because their checkout lines are absolutely ridiculous. I have never been able to get through the line in less than half an hour, it would help a lot if they would open a few more of the many cash registers that are always closed.

Its a Walmart lol. The checkouts here are spectacularly slow. I almost always have to wait in line for ~10 minutes unless Im coming in the dead of night.But the store is relatively clean, good selection, and the staff is friendly. It works, just time your visit so you dont end up standing in line forever to check out.

The Wal-Mart in Front Royal is nice how wide they have the isles, and the store is set up in 3 section so easier to park where you are showing to shop. They have Groceries then pharmacy then plants area its nice.

Its awful, lines are long, like a 30 minute wait and only 4 check outs open. No one wants to help you and most of them are rude.

I upped my stars from 4 to 5 because I actually ordered online a microwave and vacuum cleaner to be in-store pickup and I can stay within 4 hours I had my items so Im very pleased

Since the beginning of the pandemic, they have reduced the amount of open registers significantly...the lines often extend deeply into the clothing area while you see employees walking around...the line for the self scan area extends down past the coffee aisle...just pathetic. I feel bad for the regular employees who have to work for such inept management...I often go to Target, who has a horrible selection compared to Wal-Mart, just to avoid standing in line for 30 minutes...

Sad to say but its was funny how these 2 white women stood behind us and watched us scan every item we had in our cart.

Review for Walmart, Riverton Commons Drive, Front Royal, VA.Pros: Big store, variety, clean, well stocked, prices.Cons: Self checkout, not enough cashiers, returns.Its a pretty big Walmart. Youll find just about everything they sell here. Its rare to find a better price on something they sell anywhere else. Sporting goods section is stocked and organized well. Auto supply is usually the same. The market side is clean and well organized too. They could use more cashiers as the lines are almost always backed up and the self checkout is a nightmare. This seems to put a lot of stress on the few cashiers they do have, but Ive never hear one of them ever complain.

Looks like The auto center runs on a different managerial systems than the rest of store, the accsoate were very polite and respectful. They walked me through and answered any questions I had. Covid-19 protocol is non-existence.Mote: this review is for the Auto center

I just got yelled at by a cashier saying she is closed after the guy in front of me even though I have been in line with everyone else for over 10 minutes. Of course there are only 2 lanes open not including self check out, with the lines backed up to the clothing. Like everyday....... this is why so much $$$ is getting lost to amazon. I rather wait 1-2 days for shipping than stand in a line for 10-30 minutes.

Due to situations beyond my control I had to use the pick up option here twice recently. Both times have been AWFUL, with 20+ minute waits after checking in while on my way, as prompted, in order to save time. Both times multiple associates have walked past, both times I had to go search for help. This most recent time, 2 associates finally stopped but instead of assisting they simply said they would call someone to help. Neither time did anyone show up. Im currently STILL WAITING.Update: after an additional 10 minutes of waiting, while trying to call the stores pick up dept and customer service (10+ rings each, no pick up) I finally tracked down a manager who finally had someone get my item.

Despite being understaffed at times, I love shopping at Walmart. Sometimes they have off things they order that you cant get in other stores. They also order from other vendors for you. Staff is willing to direct you where you need to go and call for help to guide.

The front royal walmart is better stocked, than Winchester or Stephens Citys.

Had it not been for the young lady who was working at the self checkout, I would have probably given only one star. Aside from that, the greater (or door watcher) was talking on her phone and was very annoyed when I asked her about a shopping cart. The lady in crafts had no idea what her inventory was and gave very little help. The store seemed in total disarray. When I did manage to find a few of the items I was there to find, the young lady at the self checkout was very friendly and busily assisting customers with ease. She was probably the busiest person in the whole store, but she was by far the happiest. Kudos to her!

Lines were so long, at least 10 people waiting, for each checkout and self service too that after shipping for 30 minutes I left my cart. It wasnt worth waiting another half hour to pay

This Walmart is horrible. No mask enforcement! You have customers coughing and rubbing their faces while around produce and other items. Disgusting. Also there needs to be more cashiers because when they claim to be doing their part in the covid pandemic, theyre having only 2-4 checkout lanes open with like 50 people in the front of the store. Those cashiers are over worked and exhausted.

Customer service here is horrible. Showed up at the customer service desk it was closed I was looking for the money center asked an employee what time the closed? She said whenever they feel like it if I wanted help I needed to find a manager. So I did I went looking for a manager. When the manager came she informed me that they only had one employee there that was able to work the customer service desk and . My question is if you are such a big conglomerate you have only one employee trained to run your customer service desk and money center, and no one else? That seems kinda dumb. Everyone was just very unhelpful and it seemed like they didnt care to be bothered.

I placed an order via Walmart xpress delivery. I even paid the $12.34 monthly membership to make sure I got my items today.I get an update that everything is picked but after three hours, theres no update on it. I was hung up on twice before I got an operator to answer, she had no idea what I needed help with and transferred me to the delivery department.Ive been on hold for twelve minutes now. Why? You are the worst Wal-Mart Ive ever done business with.

Been trying to call the place for hours now and no one answers....made a delivery order yesterday and was supposed to be delivered at 7 or 8 and never showed up talked to them at 930 this morning and they said it would be here in a hour and it still hasnt showed up and now they wont even answer the phone

It was so busy and people everywhere. The checkout lines were long but they moved fast. Cashiers and employees were very helpful.
