Every time I walk into this store I want to die a little. Bathrooms are always messy, something is always broken or not working (nacho machine, ice machine, soap dispenser), and the variety of products is absurd. Fun game: walk in and count how many different varieties of Reeses there are. And yet theres hardly any sour candy! And dont count on your card working at the pump! But worst of all is the staff. They wouldnt know what professionalism was if it hit them in the face. Shooting the sh** is much more important to them than taking your order or checking you out. Dont be surprised to hear them talking bad about their others coworkers when you walk in. Im surprised its not considered a family business as half the staff is related and there is extreme favoritism to said relatives. Always understaffed. Subway is delicious! If I could give it less than 1 star I would.
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EVER have Decaf coffee when I go in. NEVER! What business are they in if they are not a coffee shop? If it is a corporate policy to only make Decaf when it is specifically asked for then this policy is a complete failure. Customers do not have time to wait on coffee to be made every single time they come in - might as well make it at home! If Handy Mart is not in the business if selling coffee and being in Customer Service, then they ought to close their doors. This particular Handy Mart location is a failure in friendliness, speed of service, and preparedness. This is a Front Royal problem as a whole, whether its any Handy Mart here, McDonalds, or any other fast-food outlet here. I am just fed up with the failure to serve their customers. If it is a cost cutting issue on the part of Handy Mart to not have a regular pot of Decaf made on the same regular basis as the caffeinated coffee, then they have failed their client base. I will no longer patronize these Handy Marts, though I have been going to them for more than 20 years.
Fair prices for drinks and front desk staff was friendly
The staff at this Handymart are no where near as nice as the staff at the Commerce Avenue Handymart. The manager appears to me to have a no care, hate my job attitude.
Bathroom was somewhat dirty. Store was organized well, though.
The initial test authorization fee is $91. Ridiculous! Never going here again.
Very slow service. Mismanaged staff.
