Very clean and convenient. Gas prices were very comparable to the other stations around. Inside, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Their made to order food is pretty good, especially the Mac and cheese.

So I just paid $10 for chicken cooked in dirty, burned up oil? Yall need to just quit trying to sell chicken if you cant even make the 10 minute effort to clean the fryers!!! Maybe the health department needs to come in and tell yall since youre ignoring all of the complaints about the issue....

Recently placed an order for me and a friend. The lady (whose name I wont reveal) working the kitchen gave me one sandwich. When I asked about the rest of the order, she just stared at me in bewilderment. I showed her my ticket and receipt, and explained that I had ordered and paid for two sandwiches and a box of fries. She then placed a box of fries on the counter, and turned away. Again I had to explain to her that I had ordered two sandwiches. She then got rude, and muttered something about not seeing it on her screen, then made the second sandwich, which I later discovered had the wrong ingredients. If I ever order food from there again, I will make sure its not at a time when she is working.

I heard this store was under new management, so I decided to go in and see if there where any changes. I was very pleased to see that the store was clean and well stocked. I got a coffee, and they have new machines from the last time I was in there. These have a touch screen and brew fresh coffee to order. I got the Brazilian dark roast and it was very good. I also ordered spicy chicken tenders, potato wedges, and the waffle roll. The chicken was cooked through but still moist and juicy with excellent flavor. The potato wedges were delicious and the waffle roll was really tasty! I highly recommend the Chesapeake dip to go with your chicken tenders. It’s old bay flavored! All in all, massive improvements, I will stop again in the future. 😊

The food is decent,but super salty. The dude with dreads literally argued with me over a small cup of gravy. I ordered the same meal twice with a cup of gravy on the side for each. I showed the receipt and he would not come up off of that second cup to save his life. I didn’t know there was a gravy shortage. I hope that extra 2 ounces helps ya out bud. Nothing like arguing with the customer when they literally have a receipt to prove their purchase and then saying “You can pay for another cup if you want it”. That’s the kindof stinginess I’m not willing to deal with again.

Employees lack customer service skills which is important when you deal with the public. I stopped there to cash in a few winning lottery tickets. I was at the counter when another customer stepped in line behind me. She was offered to use the new self check out stations, but declined stating she wanted to buy cigarettes. The cashier told her he would get what she wanted AFTER he waited on me. So instead of taking care of my lottery tickets, he went to the cigarettes and got what the other lady asked for. Seriously? I walked out. I will never go back to that particular store again.

The food is great but when it comes to customer service, that’s where it’s not great. Very rude and disrespectful.

You place your order and pay and wait while the employees talk amongst themselves and after 10 minutes you finally get acknowledged and the other half of your order is 5-7 minutes left til its ready. Dont even get me started on the rewards program which the manager didnt seem to have a explanation for why i cant redeem anything . Im just gonna get lunch elsewhere or across the bridge in town

Stopped through as family member suggested great place to eat along travel, last time in Virginia food was good and service was great, at 8:30 a.m. the chicken looked old and fries looked as though sitting all nigh, when I asked for fresh chicken, older woman working the counter was annoyed, rude and acted as though she was the one paying or purchased the chicken. She went on telling the cook, “she said she’d wait”, meanwhile touching everything with the same gloved hands she touch food with. 1st time was great experience, 2nd time food was nasty and old just like server. Won’t eat here again.

90 octane ethanol free at a fair price and the best fried chicken Ive had in a long time, crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside.

Had chicken here for the first time, it was good but had way too much salt. I had to guzzle water after every bite. My wife assured me its usually not like that. Based on that and the rave reviews Ill try it again.They have a very efficient, no-contact ordering system, one touchscreen register to order, and a different one to pay.

We had the pleasure of being one of the local business to try out their food for a soft opening. All the rumors are true, their chicken is wonderful and I highly recommend trying it out. Mac and cheese was phenomenal! 5 stars.

They had a sign for a carton of Newport $49.99 plus tax. I bought 2 cartons and was charged $57.59 each. When asked why, I was told 100s cost more. The sign didnt say that. I will be contacting somebody about this. I have picture and receipt to prove it.

We tried Royal Farms after hearing how great the chicken was. Our chicken was beyond dry. Had little flavor. And the Old Bay fries were overwhelmed with seasoning. But, the store was very clean.

I was at the Front Royal store this evening. I ordered some chicken and was waiting at the food counter with another man and there wasn’t anyone behind the counter. After a few minutes I asked the girl at the check out if anyone was working there. The girl gave me a real smart answer and said I could go outside and talk to the manager who was smoking while there was a line waiting. When the manager came in they talked and looked at me and shook her head. This was very poor customer service.

Service is great. Friendly staff and their chicken is the best I have found anywhere. KFC may as well shut their doors as they cant come close to this chicken!!

Nice pump stations with Ethanol free Plus and Diesel available . Store is very well lit, each shelf lit with LEDs, and very clean. Self order screens for food with TONS of options, self and assisted check out lanes . Very polite staff too .Worth checking out and they have world famous chicken there too .Free air too. Must push unmarked button first.

This place is not clean. Hasnt been cleaned since they opened. Doors and glass have never been wiped, floors are always dirty, bathroom is filthy. Soap has been out so many times that I end up taking soap off the shelf and placing it inside the bathroom.

Place was busy but seemed to be short staffed. This place is known for its chicken so I finally got around to trying it. Its good but not as good as I have heard, maybe I hit there on a bad day. Would try again but with lesser expectations.

Not enforcing VA mask policy, the 2% of your customers not required to wear masks will cost you the other 98%. Why post signs that say mask required if you dont actually require it?

I’m not much of a junk food fan. Bun after hearing how delicious their fried chicken is Wanted to try some. I got the 8 piece mixed and the family size potatoe wedges. The chicken and the potatoes were fried in rancid oil. I could actually taste the rancidness of the oil in the food. It tasted almost bitter/burnt and disgusting. Myself and my 10 yr old daughter has a piece each and haven’t stopped going ro the bathroom since. Having said that, the staff was nice and the gas prices are the cheapest around if you use their card. So I will return, ONLY to get gas and NOT cooked food.

TL:DR If you are looking for customer service and professionalism, go somewhere else. I went to this place for the first time at 10:30 on Saturday night July 14 and I will most certainly not be going back. I’m not sure if it was during a shift change or what but the entire time I was there, I was waiting on the employees. I went to look at the drink selection and 2 fully uniformed employees walked right in front of me to grab their own beverage before I even had a chance to get close to the machine, neither of which paid me the least bit of mind, even leaning around me without the slightest bit of acknowledgement. Then I ordered my food which was the highlight of the stop because it did not take long at all to be ready, however, the machine that was supposed to give me my order number did not work, so I had to remember my order and order number myself. Then I got in line for the full service checkout. No exaggerations here, there were 6 uniformed employees standing around the front desk either doing nothing at all, or talking with one another. I was completely ignored by every single one of them for an extended period of time. Not exactly sure how long I waited, but it was long enough for my food to get cold, and I was the only customer in line. Finally, I got to the checkout with my cold food and tried to explain to the cashier that I had not received a receipt with my order details on it. I didn’t even get to fully explain because the cashier blurted out over me that I needed to take my order back to the food counter and get a receipt “cuz I don’t do that at my station”. I left everything right there on the counter and walked out. I will not be visiting this store again and I certainly will not be spending my money there. Don’t go to the Royal Farms in Front Royal if you are looking for satisfaction and professionalism.

First Royal Farms in the area and a nice addition to the current gas-station options. Brand new store with almost everything you need in addition to a fuel fill up and a hot lunch.

We stopped for gas and bathroom break. Had 2 workers in store and no patrons except my daughter and I. Women’s room was out of toilet paper so I asked a worker for some. He seemed stumped by the question and didn’t really respond. Rude, lazy or both!

This place is very clean has good customer service, staff here is friendly, has wide variety of food to eat, even has outside seating. THIS PLACES CHICKEN OS THE BEST THERE IS FOR A GAS STATION. IF YOU GET THERE ROYAL FARMS ROFO PAY CARD AND LINK IT TO UR CHECKING ACCOUNT U GET A DISCOUNT AT THE GAS PUMPS AND CAN PAY FOR ITEM IN THE STORE WITH IT. I would highly recommend this place to my friends, cant say enough good things about them. They are one of my highly recommend favorites.

This is only two stars because the gas station its self was very clean and the shelves very well lit. The restrooms as well were clean and nice. But the food, D-, 2/5 stars, etc. We came to try the chicken, I had the chicken bowl with mashed potatoes. My husband had the chicken sandwich. $6 for a tiny quarter cup serving of bland potatoes with a half a chicken tender on top was insane. The gravy tasted like cheap gone off onions. Husbands chicken was good, moist, little bland. The biscuit was hard and not flakey, the potato wedges didnt have the cheese we ordered, and were bland and not crispy at all. Skip this over priced bland food, go to Sheetz or anywhere else.
