Once a month I do a celebration with my students in the form of donuts. Dunkin Donuts is around the corner, but I thought Id treat them to Krispy Kreme since the Halloween selection looked cool and I knew the kids would enjoy. I called yesterday and was informed that they do not do phone orders, but they opened 6am and would have a full selection. So at 6am I put in my order, all donuts were available and I paid through the app. At 8:27 I arrived at the Fuquay location. The inside was closed due to staffing issues. Okay so I wait on the drive through for over 15 minutes. I give my name and then at the window, watch them put my order together while I sat there. Then they informed me that they were out of the cauldron donut, even though I ordered it first thing and all were available. So they replaced with other Halloween donuts, but I will have some disappointed students. Long story short, I will be going to Dunkin Donuts where I can call in advance and pick up my donuts and not wait over 27 minutes and drive 30 extra minutes to not got all the donuts I ordered.

I have been frequenting KrispyKreme for over 40 years many different locations. Lately, past two years, this store the hot fresh now has not been the same as when I grew up and used to. Their Hot fresh now means reheated and made either that morning or day before. So the melt in your mouth experience I pay for no longer exists. The sugar coating crumbles and falls off when you bite. A fresh hot donut doesn’t crumble and fall off donut. It should be gooey and dripping and melt in your mouth. The donut variety is non existent. I once went and only regular no varieties at all.Overall I feel Krispy Kreme is going down hill and will not visit this location ever again.

I love fresh Krispy Kreme donuts. They just melt in your mouth, almost akin to cotton candy. Every variety is delicious, from filled donuts to the classic glazed. Their coffee is pretty great too. The staff is always polite and patient, even when their busy. My only complaint is I wish there was one closer to my home. I rate them A+.

Was told last night they’d didn’t have any more Reese donuts that afternoon and would have them back in stock this morning. Came back first thing the next day and was informed they had stopped getting them for a number of days. So someone is lying and now a peanut butter loving birthday boy isn’t going to wake up to his favorite donut. I’ll stick with Dunkin for my donut needs here on out. They don’t waste my time or lie to me.

Be prepared to wait in the drive thru line forever even when there is just 1 car Infront of you. Seriously have been here for 20 mins and only 3 cara where ahead!!

Its National Donut Day. Get on down to your favorite donut store. Mine is Krispy Kreme! One free donut for National Donut Day and one for being vaccinated. Plus buy a dozen and get a dozen for $1!

Customer service is awful. This makes the third time they have mixed up my oder. And they offer nothing for your inconvenience. The girl inside literally snatched the wrong order away as if I did something wrong.

When the red light is on showing hot doughnuts, had to stop and buy a dozen. Another great dozen, and creme filled!

We had a coupon for a great deal on any dozen. Every penny counts these days. I even called ahead to confirm their store hours. When we went in, we were told they had sold out of every donut except the original glazed (and they were not hot or fresh). Every donut sold out? Really? The coupon expires today. When we asked for a rain check or if they would honor that price when they had donuts we were told NO. It also would have been nice to know when I called that they were out or running low. They were all just waiting to leave an hour early and probably threw away all of the other donuts just so they could. This is the only Krispy Kreme that we have ever had horrible customer service, donuts that were undercooked, the custard gone bad in filled donuts, and literally seen completely empty shelves. Not worth it.

Love this location! So much the employees are nicer than the downtown Raleigh location !! Also they don’t really have the hot sign on most of the time, which is a down for me (hence the 4 star) but overall good doughnuts and get in and out quick though drive through.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I am very disappointed and upset about my most recent experience. I placed an online order in the morning and went to pick it up early in the evening 8 hours later. I went inside to pick it up and not only were the employees rude and inattentive, but they also could not fulfill the order for some reason. At this point, they were out of all the donuts I had ordered. I don’t understand why they couldn’t fill an order in 8 hours. Will never go back there. Beware if you order online.

I love Krispy Kreme donuts, this store is about 35 minutes from where I live, but sometimes when Im in Fuquay-Varina I stop and get some donuts, to me they are a lot better than Duncan, sign up for their rewards program, after so many purchases you can get some free donuts.

Went there to SPECIFICALLY order their 3 day (7-7 to 7-9) chocolate glazed, the lady even confirmed it on the speaker and they gave me the wrong donuts, I drove 25 min just for those and I asked for chocolate filled ones with the hole in the center and they gave me these big old creme filled ones. 😫😫 Im so upset and dont wanna drive back 25 min. 😥

Great donuts.....marginal customer service. Drove to this place 15 minutes away and refused to serve us with 10 minutes to close. I understand its late but I still want them donuts.

Every time Ive gone up here not only do they not have the donut I want, but they have very little variety of donuts compared to other Krispy Kremes. Management needs to do better at keeping the correct ingredients in stock and a variety of donuts available. Employees are always very friendly.

Light was on so I thought I’d surprise hubby with a treat of fresh donuts. I should of checked before getting home. They were not fresh and the glaze was falling off in sugar clumps. Those were obviously old donuts. Disappointing.

I went to this location for the Graduation Donuts promotion and they were certainly prepared. I went earlier in the morning before any crowds, but they already had my free box of donuts ready. I also noticed that police were setting up cones in the drive thru area, Im assuming to prepare for large crowds. Shout out to the staff for handling a big promotion like this during the pandemic!

Another food chain franchise in Fuquay-Varina that cant provide a consistent product and reasonably acceptable customer service. Last visit, told they have to restart computers and cant take orders, and nothing additional. So, I had to ask how long, told 15 minutes and you can have a seat. About ten minutes later another customer entered the store and they took their order, apparently didnt feel they needed to tell waiting customers they could take orders now. Plus, didnt offer to fill boxes for orders to speed checkout when the computers were ready. Ive been less than impressed on several visits, today was ridiculous. Ill go out of my way to go to a Kripsy Kreme location elsewhere.

Please take your time to check your order before you leave. Ordered a dozen glazed and they all were stale. Looking at the past reviews this is a common issue. I usually go to the Raleigh location and thought it was odd that this location had no line. There is always a line of car at the Raleigh location. I guess I know why. Selling stale donuts will drive people away.

Always nice and clean. However, they dont make the doughnuts there so its not as fresh or easy to get what you want.

They never have any of the seasonal doughnuts Krispy Kreme advertises. What is the point of being open until 10 if you’re literally only making and selling glazed doughnuts? I can get more variety from the pre packaged Krispy Kreme doughnuts at Foodlion.

Literally slowest (turtle-like) service ever. 1 turtle taking donut orders. The rest acting like they were wiping down counters but really they were gossiping. They could clearly see we were waiting. The turtle taking donut orders took his sweet time ringing people up and not a single other turtle offered to help the rest of the people in line until finally a much faster turtle asked us what we wanted. Took her 2 seconds. That was probably the biggest waste of my time.

I have been a regular customer at both drive-thru and doordash delivery. I order very often but last night my little grandson asked me to order doughnuts for his birthday. I was very disappointed to get doughnuts that were not fresh and all the glaze had either gone away or soaked in. These were worse than buying the grocery store boxed older ones. I paid way too much to have old doughnuts. The kids didn’t even eat any after the first one. Normally they eat the whole dozen. I feel like doordash customers aren’t important. I give honest reviews.

Great service the several times weve been there. Only knocking a star off because they often dont have promotional options and even the standard donuts are regularly out of stock even at 8am.

It was 8pm and they already ran out of all there donuts besides glazed. They closed like at 10 or 11 and all they gave us was a sorry. Not very happy they didn’t plan correctly.

I came to Krispy Kreme to get a free box of donuts for graduation and on Facebook they showed the donuts with 2021 on them and I ended up getting a box with all glazed

This location has a real problem with deliveries. Multiple times Ive driven there, only to find they dont have any donuts - no jelly, no lemon, no cake. Just whatever is left from yesterdays stock. This is after 8:00am....How can this location continue to sell day old donuts? Its not much of a donut shop.

2nd time that we have ordered online at krispykreme.com for a delivery order that never showed up. Then it always takes 15-30min on the phone to get ahold of someone to issue a refund. Never again, its Dunkin from now on

Every time i go always out of regular cream filled donuts. And trust its i go once every 2 weeks at least been trying for past 5 months to get cream filled original donutsBut always out. Ill go around 1pm. Tryed 3 pm amd 613p

My 2 cents.It is not the money, it is the principal. Ordered 1 donut this morning and did not get my correct change back. While it was only 2 cents there was no exclamation to the shortage. I said I think you gave me the wrong change and the clerk said we are out of pennies. Okay, why dont you just tell me that and not just assume it is okay. What if you were out of bills? It is not your money to decide I dont need the correct change. Have you ever heard of customer service? Keep the donut and I would say the napkin too, but you never gave me one.

We drove 35 minutes to get a dozen freshly glazed donuts with coffee. We went to drive thru where the associate swiped my card dozen of times, I kept getting a notification on my phone but the associate kept on saying the card is not working well the manager had to step in and show him how to take the payment. We told the employee that we want fresh and warm glazed donuts 🍩 but as our order arrived the donuts were cold, we had to park the car and go in the shop to get them replaced. As I approached the counter and spoke with the manager that we specifically told the employee we want warm glazed donuts, the manager took the box from my hand and threw it on the trash can behind her without a word and gave me a look like I am being ungrateful haha and had me waiting without letting me know or apologizing until another employee came with a box of fresh warm donuts 7 minutes late. Bad customer service.

Donut order was wrong. We ordered iced coffee and what we got was. Hot coffee with pieces of ice floating around. Not satisfied with the service.

Went there to claim a promo deal they were offering only on a Saturday. The deal was...buy a dozen donuts at full price of any kind and get another dozen of original glazed only for $1. Waited in this very lengthy line thinking we were gonna get two of all our favorite filled donuts to equal a dozen but was immediately disappointed when we were told at the drive thru that all they had was original glazed. VERY MISLEADING FOLKS... NOT A GOOD WAY TO DO BUSINESS. If your gonna run a promo like that, then let the public know they CANT buy any other assortments, that it only applies for glazed donuts. However, it was still delishous! But...they only get one star for misleading and disappointment. Need to work on that Krispy Kreme!!

On Saturday and Sunday morning I stopped at 6:30 am to get donuts, and they were out. The person didnt know when he would get the delivery.

You cannot order most specialty donut types via app and this location usually runs out of any specialty donuts by midday. So it’s just ok.

I visited this location on Oct 7th around 2:30pm and I wish I had gotten the name of the woman working the drive through— whoever she was, she was very kind and understanding while my baby was screaming in the back seat. She made a tired mama smile in a real way and it changed the way my whole day was going. Definitely deserves a raise!! Also, the donuts and PSL were delicious as always!

I’m calling at 4:47 pm this Saturday to call and ask why was there hardly any raspberry filling in all 8 of my donuts I have pictures and I need to talk to the manager But they are not answering there phone!! I’m going to continue calling!I ordered a dozen and 4 of them were glazed chocolate filled no issue with those.Highly upset Feb 20th bout them on Feb 19 can’t get a hold of no one

There’s a man that works here named Taron. He is absolutely amazing! He is a hard worker, super friendly, and always wears a great big smile on his face. He is what makes this Krispy cream stand out! Always has a ton of options to choose from! We came in at 11am and had all options on what to choose! A great experience and great Costumer service!

You’re better off just stopping in at Harris Teeter. They are ALWAYS out of options. Over the past year I’ve stopped here 7-8 times and with the exception of once, they were always out of something. The past two visits all they’ve had is original. I understand managing inventory can be difficult but this is obviously an ongoing issue.

Just left the Fuquay Varina location I drove from Apex to get doughnuts for the kids. Great customer service at the window. But I get home 20 minutes away and Didnt have what I ordered. Tried calling the location several times no answer. I have a child allergic to Strawberries and thats the kind I was given. I need you guys to make this right! Very disappointed!!

I had looked at their menu online prior to going & made a list of what I wanted. When I handed the guy my list, he informed me that they didnt have a bunch of the donuts on my list. Slightly disappointed, but I told him that it was fine... just to add some extras of what was on my list. When I got home, I realized that he had just thrown in random donuts I didnt request. So slightly more disappointed at this point... But hey... its KK. Are any of their donuts awful?

On the website it said just show a badge to get free two dozen donuts for health care workers (I drove 45 minutes) got there and they said they couldn’t except my badge because it doesn’t have a picture (do they not know that some health care workers just have a badge with their name and the company name). They wouldn’t even look at my badge all they said was “ I can’t except it because it doesn’t have a picture”. I should’ve just went to Goldsboro like I did the first time (where they except all health care workers badges)

A good place for a quick breakfast. The coffee is hot and the donuts are good. Krispy Kreme offers a good choice of donuts. Whikedonuts are not the best breakfast food, once I a whole they are a nice treat. This location was clean and the staff were friendly.

Been to the Fuquay store twice and they are sold out of oreos donuts. This store sucks.

Definitely try out this one if it is your first time to Krispy Kreme. It’s still not too late to switch to this one if you haven’t !

This store closes at 10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday. I showed up at 8:30 p.m., the “hot now” sign was on, and they literally had no donuts out. If you can’t be here when the store opens, I would go elsewhere because they don’t seem interested in replenishing their stock once they sell out of something.

The day turned cold quickly and I had a taste for a warm coffee. I was used to Starbucks, and was unfamiliar with the menu, but since i was short for time i resulted to drive through service. I was confused with the caramel mocha, there was one on the menu and one pictured as a promotional special and asked if it was the same drink. The guy rudely expressed that he could not understand me, so I attempted to repeat myself twice and then finally just said Ill take the mocha hot. I asked for extra sugar, because i like my coffee sweet, and he questioned me as if it were wrong for me to request. I gave it 3 stars, because it was mediocre service that one would receive or compare to McDonalds.

In Michigan, when the red light is on anyone can stop in for a free donut so it is surprising to find in the state where Krispy Kreme originated this is not the case. My little guy had fun picking out a surprise treat but definitely can get better donuts in the area at other places, cheaper, and with friendlier service.

They dont allow you inside yet so 20 minute wait so far in the drive thru and still havent reached the speaker. Come early if you trying to get donuts

Hot Fresh? Hardly. My wife and I have been in here about half a dozen times, always when the Hot Fresh sign is on, and finally just gave up. Each time, wed get at least a couple original glazed donuts and every time without fail theyve been taken off a rack and simply reheated. Theyre not bad but anybody whos had actual Hot Fresh donuts from a Krispy Kreme will be supremely disappointed.

Not sure what time this store is closing but at about 6:30 pm today they were out of doughnuts. I was the fifth car to go through the drive-thru without buying anything because there were no doughnuts.

You cant go wrong with Krispy Kreme glazed donuts especially when theyre fresh. Their ice coffee is also very good.

This is a wonderful place to go for a quick treat or a hot cup of coffee. The staff is incredibly fast and always accurate. They even take the time to have a conversation with you. They maintain a very professional attitude even when put in sticky situations and are very quick to think outside the box. So happy that the management has changed and the staff communicates well amongst eachother! Definitely recommend visiting this location!!

Horrible store. They NEVER have anything but original glazed and you can’t even get them to pick up the phone so you can find out if they even have donuts that day. Better off driving to Raleigh or even Durham - at least they answer the phone and they always have assorted donuts.

I try to build my points for when I want to use them. I scan my reward card at the drive thru and whoever it was didn’t even ask me if I wanted to use my points and just went ahead and used them. I’m done with this Krispy Kreme 😡

This place is unacceptable. my mom called the manager YESTERDAY asking if HIGH SCHOOLERS can get a free donut per A they get at school. guess what they said, YES. but we went today to get our donuts and the manager (probably a different one) said “oH iT’s oNlY fOr 6th gRadErS aNd UnDer.” like hello???? do you know how hard it is to get an A in high school?! whatever. anyways we just payed for the donuts and got out :/ #imakarenbutidc

Absolutely ridiculous. This is the THIRD time that I have driven here only to be told they ONLY have glazed donuts. That’s it. This manager/branch has very poor planning skills. I have never given a bad review of a place, but this branch deserves one. Dunkin Donuts always has a good selection. Even on Super Bowl Sunday’s.

The donuts are delicious, however, the filled donuts are often under filled. Often there is only one bite of filling.

This location does not make their donuts. They get them shipped from another one of their locations. Thats why when they are out of donuts, they wont have any fresh ones any time soon. Not until they get another shipment. Every time Ive gone to this one, they are always out of the popular donuts and have been told they arent making anymore; but truthfully, they never make any. Will not be returning here.

Went to Krispy Kreme this morning with my wife and son and received great service. The staff was extremely friendly and dedicated to providing superb service. Being new to this town, I will definitely return to this Krispy Kreme.

Ive had better donuts, but I was asked to take a visit to get the chocolate covered ones and it was definitely worth the trip. The coffee wasnt the best, but it was tolerable. The people who worked there were very friendly.

I know we have a covid 19 problem but when you order the special chocolate covered donuts and another dozen and get home to find out they give you a dozen chocolate glazed, and then call repeatedly and noone answers you are kind of disappointed..done with this place
