Not enough space ...this store STAYS busy and it is making customers demand but at the same time is VERY chaotic ...too much is too small a space but customer service is great ...one of the best I have ever shopped at

Low on inventory. Noticed a lot of boxes that needed to be emptied but staff couldnt get the time to empty boxes .maybe they should have more staff so that they can empty the inventory.

Always packed..Lines are ridiculously long... (Dont be in a hurry when you stop by)And lately, they are always outta everything!!

This is where I love to look for decorative boxes that holds all kinds of things an keeps things looking organized and out of eye sight

More to choose from at this location, than the one near my house.

Always a very long line with only one cashier why you have other employees doing nothing throughout the store I know its not the managers fault is the corporations fault but something should be changed because I dont even go here anymore and its the closest one to my house because of the lines and always not having what I go in there for I hope they step up soon cuz I would really like to go back to my local Dollar General I know at least one of the managers is working on the problems she knows who she is and I love her shes an awesome person

Right now the store is a bit unorganized, but they are putting it all back together.

Slow Slow Slow!!!! I can guarantee you will not find another Dollar General that is as slow as this one. The employees will see the line packed and instead of helping out they hide or go outside to smoke.

Its a nice, newer store, but attention needs to be paid to the merchandise isles. 9:30 in the morning and things are everywhere.Customer service is great.

Not a fan of this location. Understaffed and overwhelmed employees. I am surprised they had 2 cashiers but still took forever because of digital coupons and elderly folks with no service in your metal shed store.

Rude managers, some down right mean. And I spend over $100 a week there.

Had a carry pore experience with the store manager ! She has a fal mouth a very pore attitude and dosnt have the first clue in how to treat people . if given a chance I would fire her. And replace her with someone that knows what respect is ...

The north Gadsden general Dollar has the finest staff in there theyre always eager to help you in any way bring things to the car for you cant say good enough things about them very convenient to theyre in North Gadsden

This DG is the slowest DG I have ever been to. Always at least 4-8 ppl waiting for a cashier. This is 1 min from my house and I would rather drive the extra 10 mins to walmart then deal with this DG.

I frequently shop at this dg. Its very busy but a great staff for the most part. The manger, Michelle, is a very sweet women. The parking lot is frustrating though. And they are out of frozen broccoli too often lol

Low prices, Great location and EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I did some shopping today at Dollar General and when I went to go checkout, I forgot to get soap. 😒 I was talking to myself and contemplating if I should get the soap or not. Within a moments notice, the cashier volunteered to go retrieve the soap of my desire. It took less than 30seconds for her to return with my soap!! 😄😄😄😁😁 We finished up the transaction with smiles and plenty of satisfaction for her customer service.This display of service will always be favorable to the customers. Her willingness to go above and beyond the scope of her job objective shows that shes a true customer oriented individual with a perspective of the overall collective. THE COMMUNITY. 🙌👪💓🙌

There were no buggies available and no one working seemed to care! And I just dont understand why every dollar General thst I go too has to be set up so differently! Plus it was the 1st day if the 4 day sale and this Dollar General didnt hsve half of the things on my list! But they did actually have some items that my local Dollar General is always out of! Do they not have to keep up with their stock and reoreder items thst they are running out of? Luckily there is now a Dollar General about every 5 miles from each other😂😂

There is ALWAYS a line ..No matter how many employees working.

They are always busy & we think its due to understaffing but in most cases they are not allowed any more labor so that means we stand in a line of 20-30 people with one overworked and minimum wage cashier that probably will now quit due to deadlines that each mgr has to meet. So I dont work there but I live walking distance so dont get rude with these folks send their corporate office a nice email about how much you enjoy long lines & ask them to join Walmart in the self checkout lanes. The store here on 411 in Gadsden has friendly staff but someone new all time b cause under 15 hrs with work load, getting close to my Walmart ratings.(take care of those who take care of your business)

I had a pleasant visit. I was shopping for pets and Dollar General Had what I was looking for. I dont just feed my pets anything so a good high quality food is important. They had it, and it saved me a trip to a bigger store!

Good selection. Bought food, hairspray, body wash, picture hanging kit, 2 glow in dark glue for craft, 3, ltrs, furniture polish, more. Spent bout $155 dollars. Didnt have heavier wire I needed.

Excellent selection for such a small space- they have decent refrigerated section for example.Very friend and super convenient. A quick in and out instead of a slog through wal-mart- reasonable prices as well.

I noticed the other reviewers and I wish I knew what day I could go in there Barr footed and that they had great customer service because I would probably take off work-one day as month to witness it for my self. I live in north gadsden and the excitement grew for the new HWY 411 opening up it was mainly about the time saver it would be and partially about the new business that would come this way. I can be at Meighan bridge in 10 minutes “awesome” and the Dollar general store in 6. I think the employees there do the best they can with the schedule they work them with. I often stop on the way home to get orange juice, Kitty litter and toilet paper. If I have to leave to go from my house to pick something up I NEVER go there, it would be faster to go to the Walmart in Centre to get something and the one in East gadsden is closer. I was told by one of the employees that they only allow two employees there at any given time and that explains why there’s always a line of bugs of frustrated people wasting there time wishing they could get the heck out of there.I use to would go get the other person and ask them to mann the other register but finally realized that was rude of me so more I walk in and if it’s packed I leave, which it is 80% of the time. Toilet paper and orange juice can wait, I’ve got good neighbors that I can borrow from that feel the same way,

Most of the time you go in to have a long line of customers frustrated with one register running. They tell me one day they close at 10 the next its randomly 9:50. And their is one lady that was very rude about being closed Tuesday night 07-14-2020.

I was charged $1.80 for 2 liters that were advertised with signs that said .85. Look at your receipts before you leave the store. I didnt and that was my fault.
