We were heading back from an east coast road trip when we got a flat tire. Our tires are run flats so not everyone carries them. I spoke to the receptionist and explained our situation and she said they could see what we could do. These guys were on it. They assessed the situation, found the hole and they had one there for us to drive home with in about 20 min. Not a run flat but something comparable. We don’t live in the area but if we did I would use them for all of my car needs. Everyone was very helpful and honest. They made the drive home to Atlanta easy on the mind. Thanks Warren and the 2 guys that helped us. I feel bad I didn’t get their names. Keep up the great work!

My brakes went out while taking my husband to work. I waited up at his work his entire shift (10:00 pm to 6:30 am) we waited till 7:45 am before heading to Prestige auto shop. (I’ve had brake work done by them before and was very happy with price and time taken to do the work. He was even nice enough to machine one of my calipers right there.) I was told one of his mechanics was on vacation and they were all backed up so they weren’t taking anyone for the next week, so we went down to Performance. We got there a little before 8:00 am. (Before they were supposed to be open) We told them that all we wanted was a patch job to last us until next week. We were there from 8:00am to almost 3:00pm. They had our vehicle on the lift for less than an hour during that time and that was a little before we left. They put two parts on it that cost a little over $10. We were charged $200 for labor! I was aghast. How could they justify charging so much for less then an hours work?! I will never be going back to that ridiculous place. I will be taking my vehicle to Prestige from now on, even if I have to wait for the work. The people there are honest and do good work.

Sent my car there to get looked at. Every time I have called to ask about it I have not gotten an answer. It’s been a week and no one there can tell me what I’m supposed to pay. Poor customer service and never use them unless your good without your own car for a week

Took great care of us! Not only did they replace a leaky oil part 😂 but they also filled all of the fluids, put air in the tires and cleaned the windshield at a low price 😊

I got a job in Gaffney but had not closed the sale on my house in Georgia and was staying at an AirBnb. My truck broke down and needed towed. These guys could have easily gouged me but didn’t. First they said they needed to order a part but upon further examination found out they could repair it without the part. Got my truck back the same day and it cost hundreds less than I thought it would. They earned my trust and now that I’m a permanent resident of Gaffney I don’t even look elsewhere for auto service because these guys can fix anything on all makes and models and the best part is I can trust them.

Driving north on I-85 when my 2007 Honda CR-V suddenly lost power. Was able to pull off the side of the road. Tried a few things, but problem persisted. Had enough power to exit the interstate and drive to a parking lot. Of course, this was happening at 4:30pm on a Friday. Called Performance first and they said “come on over”. They diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, stayed late and got me back on the road. Can’t thank Warren and his crew enough! Would do business with them if I lived in the area. Highly recommend.

We were returning from my moms funeral in PA - our alternator went dead at the SC state line ... this shop is the best ....took care of us in 2 hours - replaced the bad alternator and helped us get home to Atlanta GA ...the service was so friendly and so reasonable . It was a pleasant May day and I wanted to get my oil changed as the dash light had come on. When I arrived, I waited outside as there were two people just inside the door with no room for social distancing. Another lady droove up and said to go right in but I told her there was no room. She entered and went behind the desk next to the other two people. None of thethree had gloves or a face mask on.I was sent around the back to the Express lane for the oil change. There I found another 4-5 employees without masks or gloves. While they were draining my oil, a guy opened the hood and added a little washer fluid. Another guy asked if I had changed my cabin filter lately but I didnt want anyone inside without gloves or a mask.I asked about lubing the ball joints or tie rod ends and he said there are no lube points. I asked if the CV joints had any play in them and he asks me if I heard any noise coming from the engine compartment.After the oil was added and I started up the engine for them to check leaks, one guy without a mask or gloves reaches in to apply the sticker showing when to come back I can see that they put down 3000 miles instead of the 5000 recommended by the factory as they did the previous oil change, even thought the computer doesnt tell you to get service until 5000 miles.Another guy come up to stick his head into the window within a foot of my face to reset the computer. I told him I would do it if he just told me what to press. He still kept his head alfway into the window while talking to me.I was going to get a tire rotation but after waiting outside 15 minutes, I just went to the office to pay my bill. At first the lady wanted to charge me for the tire rotation even though I said I wanted to pay for my oil change. While she was entering all the info into the computer, I calmly related my experience. After making out my check, the lady tells me that the computer made an error and she owed me some change. I told her to keep it as I was avoiding touching anything.About 15 minutes after I left some woman from Performance calls and says I was harrassing her secretary. I tried to relate what happened, and she refused to accept my bservation, claiming the guys checked the belts and hosesby just looking at them. I told her we used to squeeze the hoses and feel the belts for glazing when I was doing that 50 years ago, but I guess they can tell by just looking at something.The lady then proceeded to tell me that they didnt want me back anymore. I guess we now know that Warren doesnt wear the pants in that family!Cant believe they have no safety precautions taking place in the middle of the Covid-19 crisis.

I brought in my Altima to find out what was wrong with my A/C. It was the compressor. They did not charge me anything to find out what was wrong and they were the only place that was willing to replace the A/C compressor for under $1K (I have the 3.5 which are far more expensive than the 2.5 when theres a problem). They even gave me a free ride to my bank so that I could pay them in cash to avoid a credit card surcharge. Three and a half weeks later my A/C was blowing hot again and I thought the worst. To my pleasant surprise, they replaced the O-Ring for no charge assuming it was their fault even though it may not have been. These guys are absolutely amazing! If you live anywhere between Greenville and Charlotte, they are well worth the drive. You can absolutely trust these guys. They do great work and will NOT rip you off and if theres anything they assume is their fault, they make it right. I wont go anywhere else from now on.

We were broken down in Gaffney yesterday and the kind people here not only determined what we needed but didnt charge us for the testing and analysis of our cars problem. In fact they recommended we take it to the Kia dealership so we could get the issues worked out for free. They not only saved us money but they all treated us kindly as family. We truly recommend them for your automotive needs...and youll be treated with care and compassion!

I cannot say enough good things about Performance Automotive! My 3 kids and I were traveling south on 85, going home to Atlanta, when my car suddenly shut down in the evening. I was referred to Performance Automotive by AAA. The owner Warren Harrison promptly towed my car and even picked us up from the hotel in Gaffney the next morning and drove us to his shop (on the way back from the hospital because his daughter had just had a baby!) The problem was a bad alternator, and the work was done quickly at a fair price. Everyone at Performance Automotive was so nice and helpful!

Performance Automotive is definitely the place to go if you find yourself stranded near Gaffney, SC. We called after hours on a Sunday evening. The gentleman offered to tow or vehicle to the shop. We found transportation and lodging for the night and he got to work on our vehicle first thing the next morning and had it ready to go by early afternoon. His price was very reasonable. Excellent service. They came out in the foggy pre-dawn hours and pulled my car out of a culvert. They were very helpful and kind. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I was traveling 85 south on my way from NC to Atlanta when my car died. Performance Automotive saved my trip.My roadside assistance contacted them and they towed my car to their shop, replaced the alternator in record time (staying past the time the shop closed- on a Friday night), charged me a VERY fair price and had me back on my way. I even made it for the second half of the concert I had tickets for that evening.I cant say enough about these wonderful people who were welcoming and made a scary situation seem like no big deal at all.I hope to never have to deal with a breakdown like this again, but if it ever does happen, I hope Im in Gaffney, SC because I know who to call.

My husband wanted his AC repaired here, After he picked it up, the air was still not blowing cold ($160 charge). We took the truck back the following week to have it repaired again. They kept it all day and still did not repair the trucks AC. Very disappointed.

Great service! My 1997 Infiniti started making terrible engine noises on I-85. I pulled into the nearest gas station and asked a local of a good place to take my car. He gave me Warrens cell phone. It was 8pm on a Friday night, and Warren actually picked up! He then took a look at my car at 8:30 am on Saturday morning--when all the other shops were closed. He gave me good advice, and then called me later that night to make sure I had arrived safely at my destination. I was just really impressed that he cared enough to give me a call...and didnt charge me a cent to look at my car.

Warren came and picked me up himself, towed me back to his shop, I was in and out in less than 2 hours.
