Cassandra was absolutely amazing! She really worked with me on what she knew I wanted as well as the price. When it was time for the install, everything went very smoothly. I highly recommend them!

For my kitchen remodeling, I have visited Home Depot, Lowes, and two specialty stores including Magma. I am deeply impressed with the personnel and service at Magma. I knew nothing about granite or quartz when I entered the store and was able to make my selection because of the tremendous help of Ms. Michelle Calzado. She and her staff were always patient, very responsive, and super knowledgeable. The installers Jose and Danny were competent and pleasant. I am fully satisfied with the installed countertop and the service provided by everyone at Magma. Moreover, it has been such a joy to work with people who love what they do, know what they are doing, and care about my experience!

I don’t know about other comments but our experience was out of this world. I have been told by other famous store in town that there was a minimum amount of feet required for us to buy from them. We only needed 15 sqft and the minimum was 25. That store also took weeks before they would give us an appointment for measurements. On top of that they told us that the installation would be about 10-12 weeks. I saw the Magma’s sign by HWY 441 and decided to enter. Their place looks so beautiful and expensive but the prices are affordable. They didn’t required a minimum, gave me an estimate in minutes, and came for measurements in less than a week. The installation was exactly 2 weeks after measurements as promised. They helped me with some changes that were needed and were extremely patient. The installation was super fast and the installers were professional. Yes, I recommend them highly, I would buy again from them. Give them a try, you will be happy you did.

I have selected the engineered quartz from Magma for my bathroom remodeling. I had no knowledge about quartz before entering the showroom of Magma. I was tremendously helped by the office manager Ms. Michelle Calzado. She was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I felt that she was an expert and a friend. I love my new vanity countertop! After my experience with Magma, I do not think I will consider other countertop stores in the future. This review was written in June 2021. Google allows me to write only one review even though I have used Magma for multiple jobs. The review below is written in October 2021.I have used Magma for my bathrooms and the kitchens of two rental houses. I was originally attracted to Magma because Michelle Calzado and her sister at the Gainesville office were very friendly and helpful. I had zero knowledge of granite and quartz when I entered their showroom. They went above and beyond their duty to help me out. The ladies in the scheduling office were friendly and professional in each and every interaction. The countertop templaters were kind and thoughtful. Last week, I had a countertop installed in the kitchen of the second rental house. Sean (or Shawn) discovered that the cabinets on one side were taller than those on the other side. I am grateful that Sean and his helper did not just go ahead and install the countertop, which would have a noticeable gap from the cabinets. Instead, they gave me an opportunity to have the problem fixed, waited patiently for my handyman to adjust the cabinets, and assisted him when needed. They spent more time than expected at the job, but did not complain at all. I feel that Magma really cares about its reputation, and I trust that they do things right. I love working with Michelle Calzado and highly recommend Magma!

Magma Granite and Marble were great to work with. They installed a granite countertop in our kitchen. Michelle at Gainesville and Melissa in Ocala were incredibly helpful and made the process so much easier! The installers were professional and friendly and did an excellent job! The shop even helped us with the remnants so that we can use them for our bathrooms. We will be calling them when we are ready to remodel them! Thanks again for our beautiful countertops!!

BUYER BEWARE: This company contracts with large local builders and big box stores in town, so if youre an independent customer or small company, do not do business with Magma. If they dont provide a satisfactory product, theyll just tell you to get lost. I personally worked for a poplar local builder and they were always helpful and responsible. Now that Im a small contractor, they have have no regard for customer service because they have nothing to lose. As a small business owner that relies heavily on reputation, its incredibly frustrating and disappointing to apologize to my clients for a subcontractor that has a complete lack of respect for me and my clients.

Sean was very friendly, professional and helpful in choosing the right counter top and making changes before the order was fulfilled. The technician who came out to measure was professional and friendly and fast. He used a laser measurement tool so the accuracy was perfect. Not all companies measure this precisely. The installers were equally professional and fast and the finished product looks amazing! If youre looking for a new counter top, I highly recommend Magma Granite and Marble.

I visited the Gainesville location of Magma on March 3, hoping to talk to someone regarding a bid to install quartz counter tops and back splashes in our kitchen. I knew which manufacturers and designs I was looking at, and had a total square footage measurement for the job.I had a couple of bids in the $15K---$17K neighborhood, so I wasnt bargain hunting.I spoke to a young woman sitting near the front door. I had barely started explaining why I was there and she started shaking her head no and interrupted, telling me she couldnt give me a price other than it could be $50 per ft. or it could be $200 per ft. Again I tried to speak, but a woman that couldnt even be bothered to come into the same room I was in started yelling about the $50---$200 stuff again from somewhere in the building. By now the first girl had gone back to looking at her phone, but I got her attention long enough for her to tell me that they required measurements instead of square footage to help me.I unsuccessfully looked for a diagram of the kitchen in my truck, and went back inside. I told the young woman, (who still couldnt even give me her attention or stand up), that I needed to schedule for someone to come to my home and do the required measurements. She responded by telling me We dont really do it that way She suggested that I diagram the kitchen and bring the sketch back to the shop and she would try to have someone look at it. At this point I gave up and went home.Only the women at Magma can say why they acted in the manner they did, but I know that they saw no value whatsoever in having me as a customer. I would tell the Magma ownership / management team that I feel these employees are in serious need of some coaching, and reflect very poorly on the business. I wish good luck to anyone attempting to do business there.

From start to finish we are very happy with Magma! Our consultant, Sean was very helpful and professional, and answered all of our questions throughout the project. Our countertops were installed before the date we were expecting, and we could not be happier with the quality of the product and service that we received.

Was recommended by a family friend to go here. Called Ocala by mistake but was told they do Saturday appointment, but would be over an hour drive for me. She told me to call Gainesville and they should be able to accommodate me. Called Gainesville location, Lillian told me they don’t do Saturday? I said not even for a 30min to 1 hour meeting. I’m going to buy something. They said it was “too far of a drive for that short of a meeting.”My response was okay so my drive to Ocala is over an hour but they can accommodate me and see me on a Saturday. She told me that would be best.Talk about horrible customer service.
