Patti Cakes has the best coffee in town, and some of the best pastries on top of that. It gets busy on the weekends, but that just means that they are pulling in money and will hopefully remain open and accessible for a long time to come.

Consistently fantastic customer service. I told them today, the only time Ive gotten the wrong drink is when I placed the order wrong myself. The staff there is so nice & every drink is DELICIOUS! Dont sleep on the Cortaditos or the Lavender Lattes.

I can not recommend Patticakes enough! It is a quaint little shop with the friendliest staff. They always have great cupcakes and icecream, but my absolute favorite is a Cortadito. They are shorter drinks than a latte, but they are creamier and have just as much caffeine packed in the little cup

This is the place to go for amazing cupcakes! The cakes are moist and the frosting is dense and smooth. I love their red velvet flavor the most because the cream cheese frosting is perfect. They also have breakfast items, paninis, and coffee, but those werent stand out. I would come back again just for the cupcakes. Staff were extremely friendly too!

Always a great experience here. I moved a few months ago and I miss this place! The customer service is amazing. Genuine friendliness. Most employees learned my name and even my dogs name. They even started carrying vegan ice cream just before I left!! Can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back on my next visit to Haile.

This is a unique little find in a really cute town center. They have good hot chocolate and I wish there was one closer to the university campus. My only complaint is that I keep getting emails and text messages since going and signing up for rewards. One of the messages even spoofed my area code (which is not a Gainesville area code). Regardless, I’ll definitely come back again when I get the chance or am in the area.

Pricey but the location is nice. Food/coffee is good. I got a panini and iced chai and they were fine but kinda skimpy with the panini fillings. Will have to try the ice cream and cupcakes next time I go!

Started the day with a stop at Patticakes. The coffee was good, so was the breakfast sandwich. The staff was efficient and friendly, and everyone was careful with pandemic precautions - I felt very comfortable. I’ll definitely be back.

I always end up here whenever Im at the farmers market on Saturday mornings and I love it! Ive also been to the Patticakes in the bo diddly plaza and I cant seem to choose which I like better!While walking around the farmers market in Haile Plantation, my friend and I decided to get some delicious muffins (blueberry banana, smores, etc) from Gourmet Muffin and needed coffee on the side. What better place to get coffee than Patticakes! So we walked about 3 minutes or so and passed by to get a drink.Service was great! Staff were friendly and asked where we got our muffins ahaha. I got a iced latte and I think my friend got their iced london fog. We both got it iced because it was humid and terribly hot outside! We sat inside near the window and chilled. However, around 10am, it got pretty busy and crowded so we decided to leave. The interior of Patticakes is so cute as well and I believe it is a great place to sit down and study. Highly recommend!

Coffee is ok, but you can tell the cupcakes are their passion.Their Iced Chais are terrible! Chunks of chai mix at the bottom because they refuse to melt it properly.Zero customer service. But the cupcakes are good.Dont come here if youre in a rush, they literally cannot multitask, or take your ordering theyre making a drink.

I love Patticakes! I come here to escape the constant surrounding of a University Library. The atmosphere here is so welcoming, the staff are friendly and kind. And best of all, their drinks and pastries are delicious. Patticakes is one of my favorite little hidden gems in Gainesville!

Friendly and clean! We ordered ice cream and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was not good. It tasted like sweet milk. But the ice cream was really delicious.

I love Patticakes!! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Their scones are unique and perfect with their tea or coffee. Their cupcakes are wonderful and they always have special varieties. I referred a friend who wanted a place for coffee and a breakfast sandwich and Patticakes is his new go to breakfast place! They are not just for breakfast though. My neighbor and I frequently meet thete in the afternoon to chat and indulge in a scone!

The food there was very good. The staff are very nice and inside was very chill and comfortable despite the smallish size. The parking outside is limited but there are other places to park. I highly reccomed it and I always get their orange sherbet shake and usually a breakfast sandwich.

Everything they make is great, and its in the perfect spot to sip a cup and enjoy a walk. My favorite coffee shop near me.

Had a frozen coffee and it was pretty good. The ice cream is also really good. I know my kids enjoy going there. Overall a its a decent place to go get dessert.

The smoothies are really good and fresh ! Customer service is great, love the vibe there. Just wish there were more cupcake selections at this location. The cupcake they had that I enjoyed was the chocolate, salted caramel cupcake. There was a very nice balance of flavors and the cake was light and airy!

Place is wonderful with wonderful scenery. However music is very loud. Its trouble conversation and studying over my headphones. I have told the clerk, yet they bump the music back up. Im not coming to a coffee shop to dance in my chair as much as that would be awesome.

Patticakes has the best cupcakes around. I appreciate that they have something for everyone. My kids like to get ice cream after dinner. My favorite is their drinks. I go back and forth between the London Fog and Cortadito. I can always rely on the quality of service and the treats to be the same every time.

I was completely surprised by the coffee, the lattes, and the selection that was available. My son got a blueberry muffin that was probably the best I’ve ever had. Service is a little bit slow, but they are very kind.

Love their unique options! Hint, ask for some recommendations that may not be on the menu board that day. My two favorite lattes were only on the board for short periods of time. Now they are both my Patticakes staples! Their cupcakes and quiche are yummy too!

After some deliberation and multiple trips here to assess for consistency, I am positive the cafe con leche in particular is the BEST coffee in Gainesville, FL. The food and bakery items I’ve tried are also fantastic. It goes without saying the location in Haile Village is too perfectly scenic, and the cafe area is wonderful to study or socialize in. I officially like Patticakes more than Starbucks. Highly recommend!

My son and I love this place. He usually gets ice cream and I have tea. They had an amazing pineapple green tea as a special this weekend. It was served hot or over ice. I decided to try it cold and it was fantastic I really enjoyed it and hope they offer it again. We also like their cup cakes and scones. Everything is really good here and that includes the relaxing atmosphere.

Cute coffee shop and amazing staff. I need to nurse my baby and the barrista went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable. She let me use a nursing room in the back complete with changing table, rocking chair, the works. She even brought me my coffee and pastry to the nursing room.

So, I went to Free Fridays, and was all hey, theres a shop that says it has coffee and Im super tired from being on the road all day and I went in. I did NOT expect to have literally the best cappuccino stateside since I last went to Rome two years ago. Im not sure what youre doing, but youre doing it right, and the coffee is excellent quality.I got my cappuccino with coconut milk too, and it was incredible.Great service and smiling faces, too ;)

Amazing cupcakes! They are expensive but very high quality. it is definitely worth the money if you are looking to treat yourself. The icing is not too sweet and it is very flavorful. The cake portion is always moist and delicious.

They are prepared for this pandemic and handle business in a careful and orderly way. Their foods and drinks are as delicious as always.

I love their vanilla chai lattes! Ive enjoyed the iced and hot versions and usually have a hard time deciding which one to choose because they are both so darn good! Ive brought out-of/town visitors here too and they have all been pleased! I enjoy sitting outside on a gorgeous day to take in the peaceful views.

First time visiting Patticakes, but it certainly wont be the last. They have the best red velvet cupcakes bar none. Also bought a gluten-free pumpkin buckwheat muffin that was moist, buttery, and also very delicious. If youre looking for a treat, Patticakes should definitely be your destination.

Patticakes in the Village is absolutely one of the friendliest places in town.Come here for a cup of coffee amongst the residents of the beautiful Haile Village Center. The windows of the café look out on a small park with a fountain and benches where you might enjoy a walk in good weather.The baristas here are all amazing and welcoming. I highly recommend you say hello to them when you stop by.If you want a lot of caffeine, they offer a bottomless cup of house coffee.They also have a full Ice Cream bar and their namesake: cupcakes!

My favorite study spot in Gainesville! Patticakes in the Village is the perfect spot for a coffee date, meeting, or 9-hour marathon study session. The drinks are delicious (highly recommend the dublin fog), the paninis are outstanding, and theres always a friendly face to ask you how your day is going.
