There are still currently doing take out only but I love their system. You go in, order at a self kiosk, and then you wait for your drink in which is was received. We ordered the galaxy tea, royal milk tea, and split drink with milk tea and strawberry rose milk tea. The best one was the galaxy lemon tea, it was so refreshing and delish. The others were okay. I would definitely return for that tea but not the others. The efficiency of this place was great and wait was about 5-10 minutes because there was already a line but I enjoyed my time there.
I love coming here whenever I’m in gainesville, my favorite is the Hokkaido Milk tea! My only suggestion is I wish the menu described the flavors. The sweetness level isn’t consistent across all flavors, which sucks once you order something and find out it’s not sweet enough. Ever flavor I’ve tried has been good though, just some could use more sugar!
The absurd process to order a single drink makes this a fairly dumb and frustrating experience. You have to use the kiosk to order and cannot order without providing your phone number. Beyond that the kiosk is confusing and not well organized. But certain drinks are only in the in store kiosk and not on the online menu. You are also forced to use a card so cash is no good here. This place honestly kind of sucks. Ive never needed to provide my phone number to get an iced coffee.
I was *hellaaaa* intimidated before I visited this place, since Ive never had boba before and there looked like there was a ton of options for the liquid and boba pieces online.First of all, this place is so stinking cute. The outside is beautifully decorated and is super inviting. The outdoor/indoor seating is closed due to COVID, or else I would have loved to sip my drink on their cute little patio. You order via a kiosk, which I didnt like because it did not have all of the options that are actually available and we needed time to browse everything on the menu so we held up the line behind us... I ended up picking the strawberry dream snow with strawberry popping boba in the regular size. I wish I wouldve gotten the XL size because it was that good. My fiance got the strawberry rose milk tea with regular boba. His milk tea tasted like floral bath water (sorry to milk tea lovers...) but the boba itself was good and not super flavorful, but very chewy. Hes going to go with a slush next time. I wish we could have ordered at the counter so we could ask staff what they recommend for first time customers. They do have a top 10 menu on the kiosk, but none looked like safe, beginner-friendly drinks. We also got two mochi ice creams to try. Im glad I checked their actual case because they had a birthday cake flavor that was not available via the kiosk. The staff was really nice and let me switch my original flavor out. The vanilla chip mochi was also bomb. 10/10, we would get these again. We purchased two of their reusable XL cups as well since it came with a metal straw all for $10 and we didnt want to use the paper boba straws. We had a blast and cannot wait to come back to try more flavors!! They also sell super cute shirts, masks, plant pots, and other things in-store as well!!
The drinks here are amazing. The ice cream mochi and macarons are the best Ive ever had, and they always have amazing flavors available
It is a very cute little place and the tea is great! I like that these is variety.
Such a cute place! Even though the line may be long at times, it moves quickly. Tons of options for any palate. I love the iced Taro with soy. Staff is always helpful with dietary questions.
Tried mango milk tea from here for the first time and it was good. Will come back again and try a different flavor.
The drink taste good. It’s just that they charge extra for boba which doesn’t make sense. Also if you want it less ice they charge extra. So you end up paying almost 9$ for a drink
One of my fav boba places, quick ordering and good service, and the sugar level is just right! Not too sweet. You don’t even need to adjust sugar level! Aesthetic is very cute also.
The place is adorable and has merch that can be purchased. I got the Taro milk tea with custard pudding and it was great, my friend got the Strawberry Rosé tea and said it was good + delicate tasting. Cant speak for the macaroons and mochi available but they looked awesome. Hope to go back there someday ☺
This place never disappoints! Always worth the cost and customer service is amazing.
Coolest bubble-tea place in town!-Although I really like the system and all, I don’t really like how they charge you an extra fee for no ice. But regardless of the situation I really really love this place and I would come back for more! Also the interior design and the decor is really cute and the atmosphere is cozy.
Super cute place with super good boba!I’ve been here a couple times as probably most any other UF student. I love their selection and the boba is pretty good considering Gainesville is a college town. Obviously not the best boba out there but I think it’s a contender for one of the top spots in Gainesville. They have self ordering kiosks so you don’t have to worry about messing up the order at all, and the staff is super nice in the little amount that you’ll probably have to interact with them. The outside is super cute too but I forgot to take pictures when I came. I definitely recommend anyone in search of boba at UF to at least stop by here and check out the menu!
Adorable place and awesome customer service, plus everything tasted amazing. When they were out of a flavor I had ordered, they gave me an extra macaron to make up for it, and their macarons are incredible. Go here!
I’ve gone to teastori many times now hoping that I would have a pleasant experience. The boba and milk tea was not as great as Kung fu teas which is just down the street. Most of the slush’s were pretty good here. Unfortunately I’m a big fan of the milk teas and your going to be way more satisfied with Kung fu teas milk teas
Bad taste, milk tea only taste sweet but no tea flavor. So disappointed
I love coming here. Its a super affordable treat. The atmosphere is fantastic and makes me feel at home. I love the Little Garden and my baby cacti I bought. 🌵💚 I appreciate the love they put into their work. When I got my power smoothie bowl (with dragon fruit and other amazing fruits 😍) the man making it was delicately shaping and placing fruit on top as an artist with the focus and care for a masterpiece. It made me feel special and cared about that the put so much love into it. Theyre super willing to help and check ingredients for my diet restrictions.
Go there every weekend for tea, macrons and mochi, would recommend to anyone who likes this things. They have a lot of selections and its all yummy.
I love teastori for many reasons....1 its a funky little place with great service2 they have good quality drinks (I recommend the taro and royal milk tea)
Love love love this place. Can not go wrong!!
Have wanted to try this place out and finally did. Very disappointing if you don’t know what it is.. pictures on menu show cold teas and hot teas, I was looking for a hot one and found one that looked like it was served fresh brewed in a teapot.Well, it came out as an iced tea and was overly sweet and not drinkable. Nothing like the description or picture.
These folks are serious about hygiene. Really good boba teas available here.
Super cute and tasty! The slush bubble tea I got was well made, and the mochi ice cream and macarons had a nice selection and tasted amazing!
Boba tastes average and not worth the cost
I love local community based spots. Good selection and tea. Boba is alright but could use a little more QQ. They have a lot of flavors but are currently out of some but that is understandable because of covid. The split cup is very nice to try different drinks. I hope this place flourishes. There are many things they do that normal boba shops don’t and I hope they continue to.
One of the coolest spots in town. I love their totoro statue and all the plants around the store. Its usually full of people studying and hanging out with friends. Every option of tea is delicious and they have a pretty extensive menu of add on treats for your drinks.
Best boba best signs !!
I have been there a couple of times and let me tell you they have the best slushes ever! The cookies and cream and the strawberry one is my favorite! They have a wide variety of boba choices so it is not limited to you picky boba lovers!
Amazing atmosphere and plants, one of my top tea spots in town! My favorite order has to be the split cup, and you have to check out their plant selection!
TeaStori is the best place ever there drinks and food are so yummy nothing can beat it the will always be the number 1 place for me and the inside is so beautiful and homey I love it plz visit this place when you get a chance
I love 😻 getting Bobbi tea here every time im in town i always make sure I stop by to pick one up
Top notch boba place. Ive been to a good number of boba shops and this one has the most quality for their selection. I usually get taro slush or the unicorn drink because Im basic, but my fiancé branches out and usually gets the rose and lavender. They are very affordable and serve generous portions. You can also buy succulents there for a good price. The staff is pretty nice and it is a good place to sit and study if youre a UF student.
Best place in Gainesville and in Northern Central Florida for 40 miles to get Honey Milk Tea with boba. There is so many choices to choose from and has very friendly employees. The owner has a vision of being the best at what he offers. Truly a great experience! This is the best place to visit once a week, I usually try to come on Friday night as a special treat for making it through another extremely busy week. It is such an amazing place, the owner Nam is always changing the way it looks and keeping it organized. I love seeing the diversity of students who come in for the experience and to enjoy their favorites or try something new to take them to the next level. I used to get their Black Tea Honey Milk Tea with Boba and no ice. But now I have mixing it up a little and trying the split cups. I love their Coffee choices too. And those Mochi are awesome. So much flavor packed into one little ice-cream sandwich. Yum yum!
The BEST boba tea in Gainesville!!!!!! I’ve tried every other boba place in town and TeaStori is the absolute best!!! I’m delighted to be a repeat customer! The drinks (my fav is vanilla chai) and mochi ice cream are delicious, and I like the cute sticker on your drink cup. I’m happy they have their rewards program and glad they take health and safety so seriously.
So many different combinations of tea and jellies!
Cute, little place. Lots of different flavors of tea, mochi, and macrons. I had a honey lavender macron and it tasted intensely of lavender and was crisp and moist. Theyre $2 each. A small amount of outdoor seating (a picnic table and a few chairs) and a decent amount of seating inside considering the size of the suite they have. Cant wait until they get a larger place.
Ive been coming to this place for the last three years once/twice a week and in the last couple months its really gone downhill. Sometimes rude service, sometimes drinks not consistent quality (I get the same thing each time) etc.Recently they got rid of the rewards system even though I had rewards that I had been saving. Milk tea Monday? Thing of the past. The final straw that made me write this review is that they have started charging an extra .75$ to have your drink made with less ice?? Thats like charging to have the drink made less sweet or asking for a water cup
Amazing service and great drinks.
Homey, garden-esque bubble tea store that offers much more than just tea!Ambience: cute, inviting, packed - Im assuming that this place is packed quite often as they have so much to offer in their seating as well as good selection other than just drinks. First things youll think of just by seeing the outside: green and cute. Might not be a good place to study but great place to hang out with friends!Seating: theres seating outside (just a little table with a couple of chairs, benches, etc.) and inside (whole wall dedicated to tables)Menu: traditional teas all the way to new and exciting teas! They also offer pieces of mochi in their little freezer area before the counter as well as macarons, cakes, ice cream, etc.Pricing: I only had the chance to buy their Split Tea which costs around $7-8 with tax and tip. Not necessarily bad for two different flavors!Miscellaneous: before you go in line to buy your tea, theres a section in front of the shop that sells a lot Studio Ghibli merch as well as a lot of LINE friends! They also pottery and succulents as little gifts!
Love the taro boba tea!!
The best place for Boba, bubble, milk tea in town. Also, a treat to visit especially when they decorate for the holidays or season.
Favorite Bubble Tea place in Gainesville. Would have to go to Tampa or Orlando to find a place as good.
This is a very cute bubble tea place. They also serve ice cream, Mochi, macarons, etc. Basically, a dessert place with a coffee shop atmosphere. Almost all the tables were filled the two times I came here, once at night, once in the afternoon. This seems to be a popular study spots for students from the campus. The bubble tea was delicious and the green tea bear was extremely cute.
Place was extremely cute and has a really good vibe. I got the vanilla chai milk tea and its amazing!!!
The cashier was so nice even though it was just him it was extremely fast and he made my drink perfect. customer service was great
This is one of the cutest boba spots I’ve been to!! TeaStori has 2 self-order kiosks to minimize contact and everyone inside wears masks. They offer milk teas, fruit teas, mochi, macarons and more, and they even offer split cup milk teas! Their milk teas were delicious and I’ll be back to try their mochi.
Best Bubble Tea in town, bat none. Always has been.
TeaStori is an amazing boba tea or milk tea place. The staff is friendly and the tea is delicious 😋.
I have been going here for years, I’m always met with the kindest of people. I love the atmosphere, drinks are always delicious! The owner is a very hardworking man, I’ve met him many times and he is always fun to chat with. I have always enjoyed coming in, seeing the improvements the to store, and how hard the employees work everyday. This is truly a wonderful place! I encourage everyone to visit TeaStori!!!!
Very easy to order, lots of choices and always trying new things
Nice place. Suffers from minor growing pains as demand outpaces supply occasionally. Good vibe
Beast milk tea in all of Gainesville, try their Hokkaido milk tea!
Phenomenal little tea shop, fmy fiance and I are in love with thw mochi ice cream and hokiado milk tea (that large life evwrytime).
Really great bubble tea spot! I appreciated their selection and the fact that they’re willing to do 1/4 sweet on their teas. I’ll be back!
I love this place so much and take almost all my friends here when they dont know what to do
Delicious drinks with super unique options! Awesome ownership as well 👍🏼
Excellent boba!
The tea is delicious and the mochi and macaroons are amazing
Their mochis are fantastic! Always take a couple when i drive by
The best place to get mochi!
I have debated writing this review, as I genuinely love Teastori. I have been a very loyal customer for the last 6 years, including when it was known as Lolicup and am very happy with the protective measures they have in place for COVID. However, recently I have been somewhat disappointed. I write this review in the hope that the owner will read it and make some changes. They have recently added new kiosks to the store, and it is very hard to order directly with a person now, which I prefer to do for several reasons that I talk about below. The first time I used the kiosk I was charged 5 times on my card for the same drink. The payments stayed on pending and then disappeared, but obviously being charged $25 vs. $5 is a big difference. Second, the kiosk does not allow you to get rewards, with the 10th drink being free I believe. Although this is not a big issue, as a regular customer, this is disappointing. Third, if you have any coupon, such as a gator greenback coupon, free drink coupon, or are a healthcare worker, you can not use it on the kiosk. It makes for an awkward situation especially when the store is busy to get the attention of a staff member and ask to use the discount/coupon. I have watched people stand there for 3 minutes trying to get the attention of the staff member and its just embarrassing. I would also like to add that I think its a bit cheeky that an 18% tip is added on the kiosk automatically. I think its fair to ask if the individual wants to leave a tip, but it should not be the automatic setting. Also a $1 extra for no ice is super expensive. I have not been to another store in the area that charges anything for no ice.I would also like to add that my boyfriend is a healthcare worker, who is currently working 80hrs a week, 6 days a week. On his one day off last week we went in, and did the awkward thing of trying to get the staffs attention on for the discount. I always pride myself in being polite to hospitality workers, and having worked as a server in the past, and can ensure you I was very polite in my attempts to get her attention. But when she finally noticed me she looked incredibly irritated (it was busy the store, so I imagine she was stressed), and when I asked for the discount for my bf (who was standing immediately behind me) in an incredibly condensing tone, looked at me and said I need to see your ID then, making it clear she did not believe me. I turned to my bf and asked if he had his ID, which he didnt happen to have (he is required to have it visible when he is in the hospital and keeps it on a lanyard, and not in his wallet). I told her he didnt have it, but he could show her an email or something proving his role. At this point we were INCREDIBLY embarrassed, it was obvious she did not believe us and other customers were watching. At this point she turned to her co-worker not even responding to what he said, asked if we could get the discount with no ID (in a super irritated tone once again), and he said to just give us the discount but said next time have the ID. I completely understand why they ask to see ID, and think that is a fair policy, but I do not think it was necessary to embarrass us. At this point my bf and I were incredibly embarrassed, to the point where I asked my bf if we could go back with his ID and show them the ID to prove we were not lying. My bf said we should just leave it, and with this being is one day off he got that entire week I agreed. There is nothing wrong with her asking to see the ID, it is how she went about it.I hope this review will lead to some changes. Again I genuinely do love Teastori and there teas.
Funky little place with great service and lots of choices. Fun decor. Only complaint is my boba were a little mushy for my taste as opposed to chewy.
TeaStori is a hidden treasure and even as a small local bubble tea shop, they make all the arrangements you need to feel safe and comfortable in their cozy space.I hope to see this place in its prime again, as their decorations were always so charming and whimsical that changed with each season and no letting up on the fantastical nature.
Its a good boba place. They have a wide array of types and flavors and I appreciate that they let customers modify their drinks with a high level of detail, e.g. they allow you to make the drinks with 25% sweetness if you want. It smells kind of good and is not only clean but decorated in a fun way. Its integrated with a plant shop and theres always music videos to watch so you wont get bored even if you go alone. They also take time with their outside decor because it gets pretty busy a lot so space is kind of limited. They also sell boba accessories and mochi and the staff is polite. Kung fu tea is also good but just not as dedicated to the aesthetic.
Prior to TeaStori, this spot was called Lollicup and I still cant seem to get that out of my head lol. I always end up saying Lollicup instead of Teastori. Anyways, I do believe this place is a great place for people to mingle and get a cup of tea, coffee, and desserts! Inexpensive, lively, and hip for sure!I am not a huge fan of boba but luckily, TeaStori has other options such as popping bursting fruit boba or lychee jelly. If I am not getting milk tea, I am such a fan of their iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. It is definitely on the sweeter side but coffee is my vice lol.TeaStori used to have more sitting inside but since the side plant shop took over, the interior seems smaller to me. I also miss all the games that they used to have.I dont think TeaStori is the best place to study at during the weekends/nights. It would be hard for me to focus but I would say study during the weekdays and not at nights if you like cracking down for an exam haha. But free Wifi!
The best boba place in Gainesville. They’re Studio Ghibli/Totoro and plant themed! Super cute vibes. They have a huge variety of drink and boba options (pictured is the rainbow jelly). In addition to drinks, mochi ice cream, and macaroons, they also sell plants, planters, plushies, shirts, reusable glass mason jars (pictured), etc.
THE BEST BUBBLE TEA PLACE. The outside is gorgeous, the inside is adorable, and the service i received was incredibly friendly. They serve fruit tea milk tea and macaroons all of which are incredible. They sell cute little toys and keychains along with adorable ceramic pots with cartoon designs on them. 10/10 will recommend to anyone with a love of bubble tea, anime, and plants.
Its great to see small businesses stand up for themselves and for the good of their customers. Tactfully in fact. There is a reason these small businesses are surviving the pandemic and thats because theyve earned the loyalty of their customers. Go enjoy a bubble tea and be kind to your server, they deal with a lot of Karens!
I love this place, their drinks are so refreshing!
I love this place, but have a question. I just left your store a little frustrated. I am pretty conscious of the pandemic rules and try my best to follow them for the safety of myself and others. I appreciate the store because you have adhered strongly in this area as well. Today I found myself in an awkward position, where I finished ordering and there were 3 women who were done ordering mochi just standing in front of the glass waiting and blockIng the line to the pick up area for drinks. Your employees kept telling me our drinks were ready, and I told them that there were people still in front of us. The ladies told us to just go around them and the staff made no effort to ask them to move. This upset me because we should be adhering to social distancing guidelines. I left upset feeling like I was the one who did something wrong trying to keep to the rules to keep us safe. What should I do in this situation?
Great bubble tea and friendly service. Adapted and staying open so far during corona. It keeps us sane and happy to visit. Wish their online ordering had an app to save my info so it can be faster to place orders and check out.
I feel like TeaStori is a hidden gem in Gainesville. The staff is great and they make your drink swift and delicious. My go-tos are the mango slush and the coconut milk tea. Not a boba guy but I have heard that theyre great. The vibe in there is great to study or just chill out.
Absolutely delicious and quick with the orders. Will definitely come back.
The strawberry rose with honey boba is the best! A more floral take on strawberry boba! This place has the best boba, always cooked thoroughly and never hard.
You get for what you pay for! Quality and delicious tea, very friendly staff, and a nice looking store. Curbside pickup is also incredibly efficient.
I kinda liked it better as Lollicup (especially more room devoted to seating and less to succulents) but its not a bad place to grab a boba tea!
Pleasant and helpful staff. I love the drinks here. I tried the small ice cream bites for the first time. They were better than I expected. I think the prices are a little high for tea, but other than that it is a nice place to check out. The decor gives the place character :)
This used to be called Lollicup back in the day. I attended UF as an undergraduate student from 2010-2014 and would frequently visit as part of student organization socials, to play games with new and old friends, or just as a meeting/hanging out point. The prices for the boba tea/milk tea drinks were worth the value, outstanding location as it is on 34th St and Archer Rd in a sense. There are various board games and family-friend games to play once you are in. I had many friends work at Lollicup/Teastori back in the day, and they did a phenomenal job.I miss this place as it is one of Gainesvilles best local businesses.
This is a super cute and lovely place for an evening! I went there with my friend and enjoyed my time there ! I ordered Strawberry rose milk tea and to be honest it wasn’t anything special. I drank it but it would not be something that I’d go back for ! The 4 star is only for the place itself not the drink
Very cute and trendy place to hang put with friends! Delicious tea and offers small plushies and other non-food related items to buy. Also they have metal boba straws available for purchase! ❤
Good tea options. Price is ok, can be a little cheaper or they can do bogo on some days
Love. Great vibes, service, macaroons and of course tea!
The best bubble tea I have ever had! When I’m living in Gainesville, my friends and I will visit at least 1-2 times a week, it’s a true addiction. Could not recommend a better bubble tea shop!
Love going here for the iced coffee with bobba.
Very quick and everyone is very nice. The tea is also delicious.
