Delightful little cafe/wine/coffee bar downtown Gainesville with a favorable wine selection even for the novice connoisseur. Relaxed, inviting atmosphere with views of the square. If you’re ever in Gainesville you should definitely try this place out.

Super chill and foxy place! 🦊 We enjoyed our beverages (peppermint hot chocolate, London fog and the coconut strawberry smoothie) so much!😋 They also have a great selection of beer and wine. Every table is spaced out and the baristas were very attentive with keeping the tables clean and sanitized. Great spot to enjoy time with loved ones. ❤️

I took my amazing wife on a date to the Red Fox Lounge and it was a great place. The atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful. The food was delicious and well priced. The drinks were on point. The best part was being able to talk to my wife without feeling like I had to yell over the noise or feeling like the whole place could hear our conversation. I highly recommend the Red Fox!

The Red Fox Lounge is so good! The naan pizza was delicious and filling, and their smoothies are wonderful! Great atmosphere as well!

On a short day trip from Rowlett to Gainesville. We parked the car and started walking to our destination downtown. We were all quite thirsty and happened upon a nice place that looked like it would quench our thirst called the Red Fox Lounge. It was early afternoon and we were the only 4 customers at the time.We were greated with a warm and friendly Sit where ever you like.3 of use ordered cold beverages and 1 ordered a coffee. We then ordered a snack we could munch on, being foodies and all.The staff was busy putting out all the Halloween decorations but kept a close eye on us.Before we knew it it was time for round 2. We were wondering if we were going to not make it to our destination because we found a new one.The food and drinks were great, mimosas of different flavors were quite refreshing.Lets digress to the coffee. My travel buddy said it was the best he ever had. So a long conversation with the waitress and found out it was Cuvee brand coffee.When we arrived home the hunt began we had never seen Cuvee brand coffee. Travel buddy not only found the web site but joined their club and is now enjoying a cup every day thinking about The Red Fox Lounge.Be sure to stop in for a refreshing livation and dont drive past the town of Gainesville.

If you’ve been to the Red Fox Lounge in the past, you will be in for a shock when you return! The new owners have taken the class out of the joint and replaced it with a disjointed New Orleans theme. The classy, cool vibe is no longer there…which was my first disappointment. I also hear that they will be getting rid of the wonderful coffee for a liquor license. My friend and I thought we’d at least try some of the new items on the menu, but where unimpressed, especially with the Gumbo which seemed like it came from a box. They’ve added to the wine list, but again…added wines that can be easily bought at any grocery store for $10 a bottle, nothing unique or special. They have also tried to do something with the back area near the bathroom, which unfortunately has missed the mark all together….it reminds me of my Grandmother’s living room, not something you’d expect in the previous Red Fox! Fortunately they kept some of the previous employees who were very friendly and tried to help.Overall, I am disappointed that the new ownership felt like they needed to change so much! The Red Fox Lounge is not the classy place anymore that Gainesville so desperately needed!

Really nice ambience and the food was really good! The service was somewhat slower than it should have been but otherwise I was happy!

My wife and I came here last night for a nightcap and were here now for some coffee. The double espresso is like jet fuel. Service is excellent.

I ALWAYS get great service at The Red Fox Lounge. The staff is so super friendly and easy going. The place is super cute and unlike anything else in Gainesville. The wine selection is delicious and there are a bunch of local ones to choose from too... I just love it how they serve local wine which really goes to show you how awesome these folks are. Just trust me and stop in for a bit of coffee or a sip of wine and some nibbles and I promise you wont be disappointed.

I am not a big coffee drinker to begin with, however this place makes me crave having multiple cups of coffee daily. Its always extremely fresh and the flavors are wonderful. I also find the Red Fox a great escape to work virtually. Both my husband and I also now consider this our go to date night place of choice as I really enjoy the wine selection, service has been nothing but five star (and I expect a lot), in addition to a wide array of food choices to please just about anybodys palate.

I ordered a double expresso over ice with half and half... I was immediately impressed with rich flavor of my drink, it was not bitter had a nice roast flavor. I have to say the price was very reasonable. This place is cozy, clean and the service was fast and friendly. I will return.

Nice interior with comfortable seating, and the coffee was okay, but I was a little disappointed with the lack of any kind of baked goods to go with the coffee. There were a few slices of individually wrapped slices of cake, the kind you can get at any store like Walmart. I wouldve liked more variety, and something a little more fresh would have been better.

I stopped in here while traveling through and am glad I did. I ordered a London Fog which was good. They used Steep brand tea which is an ok brand. And they do have alternative milks for those who prefer that. I parked right around the corner since it is street parking only from what I could see but no big deal. What really made this place five stars was the kindness of the barista and the other patrons! This place does not discriminate if you do not wear a mask. Do yourself a favor and drive right past the Starbucks and go support this local place!

Skip the ridiculous drive-thru line at Starbucks, PARK YOUR CAR (gasp!), and get a really fine cup of coffee or tea at this lovely local shop. Or come for an evening with a lovely, very reasonably priced glass of wine and one of their tasty small plates. I particularly recommend the Meatballs or Pulled Pork Sliders. Though they only have four taps, the beers they offer are typically excellent, too. The owners have spared no expense to create an inviting space with beautiful design touches—they even have a small private room for meetings or dining that they offer without an additional expense. (For groups who book in advance they’ll even set you up with complimentary drip coffee!) Though I’m obviously a huge fan (and regular customer), I don’t give out reviews like this unless they’re deserved.

What a fun New Coffee Shop! Had the most delicious White Chocolate with Raspberry Mocha. Then a mimosa while Blackout Betty entertained the crowd.If your stopping in Gainesville, forget the corporate coffee place. Drive two blocks west on California and find the Red Fox Lounge.

Downtown Gainesville, Texas, just got cooler with The Red Fox Lounge coffee house and wine bar with cozy brick walls and casual seating. They have Texas brew on tap and both domestic and import bottles with Texas wine (and others). We plan to return after 4pm when they have live music and a savory tasting menu with sweet desserts as well. We loved this charming new spot to enjoy in historic downtown Gainesville with the most hospitable staff and baristas that whipped up a tasty mocha that has us charged up for the day!

Had a Burger and drinks it was very good

I will not ever order from here again. Food was not authentic Louisiana food. I ended up taking 2 bites and got a to go box and dropped it in the trash when I made back to Lewisville. 😤

I have been coming here for coffee the past few weeks because the coffee is WAY better than Starbucks AND it’s actually FASTER because I can always find a spot right outside to park. They even let me call ahead! Today I stopped by midday and decided to try their lunch. I was pleasantly surprised at the large selection including homemade chicken salad, soup, chicken sliders and more! I had chicken pot pie soup which was served with a biscuit and a salad. Excellent! This is a great local spot, and the staff is super friendly! Support local and check out this amazing Coffee shop and....oh yeah, they serve wine and beer at night too!

The coffee at this place is “meh” at best. It’s not the best coffee, but it’s also not the absolute worst that I’ve had.

Sorry nothing special, I probably wont revisit. Everything was just average, even the staff. The fox deco was cute.

Quick stop on the way home from Winstar. Enjoyed an early lunch. Hubby said chicken salad was good. Chicken sliders were tasty, could have used some cabbage slaw crunch. Nice ambiance, friendly staff, practicing covid ppe and cleaning guidelines. Thumbs up!

Enjoyed our Friends Christmas at Red Fox Lounge last night ❤️💚 and it was fabulous. Great Happy Hour specials, charcuterie boards were absolutely great and the wine selection was good. They were attentive to us. Prices were reasonable. Atmosphere is relaxed and interesting. Next trip is coffee and dessert and so excited to go back!

I highly recommend this spot to unwind....The Red Fox was recommended to me while I was staying in Gainesville over the weekend. I’m certainly glad I dropped by. The lounge has a very relaxing atmosphere and a great selection of coffee. But I preferred to sit at the counter, talk with the friendly staff and have a sampling of the various wines from the local vineyards....and cheesecake....can’t forget the cheesecake :-).

Had a fantastic, quick lunch here today! 10/10 recommend! Yummy food and pleasant atmosphere! The owner took great care of us, will come back for sure!

What a neat place! They offer wine and coffee! They even have snacks if you decide to stay in the store and visit and get hungry! There is a variety of wine selections with some coming from local wineries! Highly recommend!

The Red Fox Lounge is a very fun place. Live music on Saturday nights is always a good time and very good drink prices. They serve coffee, tea, wines and beer so a good mix of beverages

Horrible. Walked in and the day worker rudely said she couldnt serve us at that moment and we had to wait until 3:00. She said she couldnt handle me and two others. The waitress that took over at 3:00 came in and first waitress practically ran out the door. I will NEVER be back!

We were in town staying at the fabulous Denton Street Heritage House and I needed a place I could work and then enjoy a nice drink in the evenings.The Red Fox Lounge delivered and then some! Their coffee drinks are great (almost nobody can make a cortado... if you don’t like all the milk in a cappuccino, try one!). The wine selection is small but VERY smartly curated with some local selections.And it was nice to have the option to order some food to snack on - the hummus plate was the perfect thing to keep me going during long working sessions. The WiFi is super speedy, the music good, and employees friendly.I wish they’d open a location in Austin!

Very dissatisfied with this place. First of all they never get my order right and then get upset when I request what I paid for. No customer service skills seen in the two young ladies that work there. Would not recommend unless you want to be greeted with attitude and hassled by trying to get a small order right.
