The builders of my new home chose Magnolia Windows but I have had to work directly with them to correct problems with uneven windows and seal issues. It has taken an inordinate amount of my time and now, over a year later, the problems are still not resolved. Even more frustrating is their lack of follow-up and incomplete record keeping. For example, a tech came out in April 2018 and said he would be submitting an order for replacements of several windows. I never heard another word. I followed up after 2 1/2 months and was told that the ticket was closed June 7 with an adjustment. Someone was here on June 7 but not in 2018. Rather, it was in 2017 and that repair did not work. They did not seem to have a record of the concerns raised after that or any record of the April 3 service call in 2018 and my communication leading up to that. I cannot recommend Magnolia Windows because service after the sale is critical and in my experience that is woefully lacking.
Ten years ago I worked with Sullivan and Forbes on an extensive remodeling project on my Lake Lanier cabin. This high end builder used Magnolia Windows - purchased from BFS - Gainesville.Unfortunately some of the windows failed and turned cloudy. I found out that the windows were covered by a 20 year warranty with the customer responsible for installation labor only.Jennifer Sullivan at Magnolia has coordinated the process of re-manufacturing windows they no longer sell and making sure they are installed correctly.I am very pleased and based on what I have heard about major window brands being hard to work with, Magnolia Windows should b a first choice.
Poor quality windows. Nothing but problems.
