We were looking for a quick stop for a few groceries prior to getting to Orlando. We ended up (accidentally) at this Publix on University of Florida campus. It worked out for us as this was a rather quiet store and had everything we needed to pick up. Plenty of workers that were super friendly and multiple check outs were open to get us in and out as quick as possible. Parking was a little difficult.

This Publix Id say is well kept. Not as stocked or spacious as some of the bigger ones but thats to be expected as its meant as a convenience for university students. Its Publix and we live in Florida so long live chicken tender subs. :D

Small, hence doesnt have everything. Hey, its a Publix. A really, really clean store.

The really good Publix is very busy. But I do not advise you trying to park because you will not find a parking spot and if you are really bored go and get a coffee from Starbucks sit outside and watch the parking drama unfold before you.

Publix Supermarket on University is always the greatest atmosphere the shop I love the workers the people and the customers are one in the same its amazing to have an experience to share that is open and loving and a good atmosphere to keep yourself healthy and happy

I came to Publix for a sub because they have the BEST, not today TJ was so nasty making my sub, he touched everything under the sun and didn’t want to change his gloves and Andy was a little nervous but he was great!

Super convenient location but it is often missing what you need. Also, the employees at this Publix are not nearly as nice as the ones at the surrounding other locations. Still very useful though because of its proximity to campus and a bunch if apartments.

Very nice, kind of hidden, right off of University. Everything you need, including a Starbucks.

Wife and I went to have a sub and a little shopping enjoy outside dining and came home beautiful day

Publix is always a great grocery store for me to shop at all of there employees seem to be well trained, when I cant find an item, they will stop what they are doing and walk with me to the aisle and show me where it is

Giving you a three.. your affiliation with insta cart does not make you less accountable for order miss haps, etc...I honestly expect more from Publix

Okay, I go to this Publix at least 3 to 4 times a week and there is actually a few employees that always make my day, but today Im going to talk about one! Her name is SHANA! Always greets me with a smile and is so very helpful! Every time! shes like perfect employee! Im there so much and her attitude is amazing every time! You would think that she is the happiest person in the world lol, maybe she is, I dont know! But on a serious note, what an amazing employee! Publix you are lucky to have her! I went up to her the other day and told her that I need a picture of her because I write Google reviews and of course she said yes! So if you ever at the Publix on the corner of 13th and 39th, go say whats up to SHANA 😁...

Easy to find items, smaller store friendly personnel, good experience overall, very organized, very fresh, very perfect period... no complaints.

6-11-2019 This Publix store is very nice, with a large selection of all the grocery items I could want. All the team members at this Publix store were very nice and super friendly.

Avoid this Publix location if youre concerned about COVID-19 and this current wave of the delta variant. I was just in there today and they are not enforcing the Alachua County Mask Mandate for customers, about half of the customers in there today werent wearing masks.

Its a smaller Publix. It may not have everything the other or larger Publixs may have. Regardless of that, i love this Publix. Nice and clean. The location is key.

Don’t plan on their deli food for a lunch break- they have never *once* had a sub I’ve ordered online be ready by the time I’ve ordered it for. The parking lot is also ridiculously small, there seems to have not been any consideration for the volume of customers they should have known a Publix in such a populous location was going to get.

Its not as big as other publixs but just as convenient. It stays clean

Clean and organized grocery store. Staff was friendly and everyone was wearing masks. Eli at the deli counter was very helpful and cut great thin-sliced roast beef 👍 Tori was our cashier and was very efficient. Thanks for making our 2nd visit pleasant.I wont be able to give 5 stars since products that are available in other stores at lower pricing are slightly more expensive here.Would recommend this place if you dont mind spending a little more for your daily grocery items in a cleaner, friendlier atmosphere.

First and the last time I will shop here, but only because the parking is ridiculous & not convenient!! Not enough spaces for the volume of shoppers. At least 10 cars circling the lot needing a spot when I arrived and after an hour of shopping inside there were even more cars needing spots when I came out. However the customer service at the deli was superb!! This store is the newest Publix in town and is nice and fancy.

I have been a Publix shopper for as long as I can remember. My Father retired from the company. And as far as I’m concerned Publix supermarkets is the standard. I expect, but still amazed, with the idea, and working model, of human imagination, and inspiration, known as Publix.However Mr. Zeb McClendon, of the produce department exceeded Publixs high standards. Where to begin? The professionalism, empathy, discipline, class, and very rare, transparency immediately puts you in awe. As a customer and fellow human being.Someone I care about deeply is going through a rough time, and I was led to the store, to get a bouquet, but nothing quite grabbed my attention for this special moment……… until Mr. McClendon inserted himself into the situation, and decided to create a solution. (Bless him) With all due respect, he created the most amazing bouquet I have ever seen. (It was inspired, by whom, or what, I do not know)I am forever in Mr. McClendon’s Debt, and Publix’s as well. Bravo. BRAVO.

Probably the worst publix to get a sub made at. Showed up just after 11am, they only had one person working the sub counter, allegedly everyone else was on break, they didnt have any of the meats or cheeses prepped, and then on top of that didnt even know what went on particular subs. Publix used to be one of the best places to get a sub made but somewhere they dropped the ball. It all starts with management and training or lack there of. Good thing Florida is raising the minimum wage....

Clean, well stocked, and excellent customer service there is nothing to complain, its Publix there id a standard that NO OTHER Marketplace has, that Publix has among all the stores i have ever been in. I am not affiliated with them, never worked there, and I can be a critical reviewer. And still have never had a Publix issue at any location that was not taken care of immediately.

This urban Publix conveniently close to the University of Florida is small footprint store with much of the variety of a larger Publix. Additionally, this Publix has a large dedicated island for prepared food such as sushi and subs. Full and self service checkouts make it easier for a quick trip.The parking lot has motorcycle parking and can be entered from 13th street (US 44) northbound or from the north side of the store.

Quick In and out they even have 4 registers that are self-check outs.

Nice clean store. Parking is almost impossible. Sometimes you just have to sit and wait for a spot. I generally dont have the patience for that and usually just drive to another store.

Always clean, well staffed and stocked. Never any long lines or impolite service. Deli is wonderful. But also never enough parking. Very small lot. More often than not you spend more time waiting & looking for a parking space than actually shopping.

The publix to go to close to campus. This place has just about everything any other publix has and it’s so close to campus. Parking can get very crowded on the weekend and around 6 p.m. but people have to shop. Staff is always nice and the place is always clean. Typical publix experience!

Relatively small compare to most other publix stores. The interior is bright and clean. This store does not offer complementary coffee, instead, it hosts a Starbucks shop.

The people at the deli are slow. They were out of turkey at the sub sandwich station. As if they couldn’t cut more from the deli, which is connected. I came at 5pm. Very disappointed in my Publix experience today. Shopping was NOT a pleasure.

Wonderful smaller Publix. Staff is very helpful and the store is very clean. Has a nice deli area and bakery. Well stocked and easy to access from Highway 441/NW 13th street. Adjacent to it is a Starbucks as well. Across the street are various eateries and a small Target and Krispy Kreme.

Worst and slowest subs/sandwiches station i’ve ever been to. No customer service and VERY slow to get to your order. Employees just wasting time and LAZY to making your sandwich. Someone has to get this department right.

Ive shopped at Publix for years when I wanted to and since the mid 1980s! The stores are always clean, the employees are polite and have knowledge of where items are and theres always as variety of items and good prices as well!
