We have had a couple exceptional visits to this Winn Dixie. We stopped in over the weekend to get barbecue wings at the hot foods section. They were out of them and a miss Lisa offered to make them special for us. She made them.She is very nice. Lisa treats us old people with much respect and as valued customers. Today we returned and a gentleman working in the Deli made fresh wings for us. I dont know his name but he was very pleasant. When we got to the checkout a very nice lady, (Darlene) at the customer service desk called us over and checked us out so we didnt need to wait in line. It is a pleasure shopping here. By the way, the store is spotless. Prices are very fair as well. Thank you for reading review.

Very clean store. ALL employees I had contact with were professional and courteous.Not only that, I left$10 in the cash back, self service lanes. I went to the liquor store and got supplies and ICE. My point, is I wasnt just in an out. Got back to my car, and realized my mistake. They had my $10 ready for me. Hard telling how many HONEST PEOPLE ARE IN your store. Customer and employees. Ive been in Florida for over 30 years, and always love Winn-Dixie

I hate that Ms.Gail in seafood has retired. Its just not the same. She had her own little way of putting things together, which Id grown accustomed too. But I love Winn Dixie. You save lots of money, and theyll point it out to you!

Pharmacy was super great. Pharmacist was SO nice and had no wait at all.

Typically, I get in and get out just fine. Customer service is decent, not over the top like Publix and definitely not horrible like Walmart.My issue is with an incident that occurred yesterday; I picked up a gallon of milk that had a slit on the side of it. Didn’t realize it before I poured a bowl and was putting the milk up. Returned to the store and waited for about ten minutes for the cashier to check out a person doing lottery tickets. Upon returning the item I asked for some sort of reconciliation for my time that got wasted. There wasn’t any. So yesterday I wasted a bowl of cereal, gas and, most importantly, my time. Outside of yesterday, winn-dixie’s THAT store. I know, now, to pay extra close attention to the items that I agree to pay for.

Best place for inexpensive fresh food. Just check the expiration dates. Comfortable atmosphere. In and out with no hassles. Prices are up and down. I go when I need yogurt or fresh tuna. Unfortunately, they had no fresh tuna recently but, I know they carry it. Good deals on products which are expiring soon.

My suggestion is that the Winn Dixie Supermarket on Main Street in Gainesville, FL., has proved themselves worthy of a 3.95 Rating, (...with the updates and remodeling. However, Customer Service through out the store needs an update. Over the years I have noticed that Winn Dixie employees seem Always Angry I view this as the demands-placed-on-them by this company. For this cause I would not recommend Winn Dixie as a place to be employed.) Therefore, the 4.01 rating, in my estimation, is not there yet! And should Winn Dixie arrive at this point, the owners and management needs to be taught by their employees what TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS, by first Delivering This Service To Your Own Population Of Employees Without-Discrimination!Winn Dixie Owners, Stockholders, and Management should You as a Group Dare To Take Up This Challenge, You Shall Be A Store To Be Reckoned With!!!

Store is clean and beautiful. Tried their new sushi items in the deli department today for lunch... So good.. definitely will be my lunch of choice from now on.

While the store change looks nice, its become more confusing to find things. Not to mention, theyve pulled quite a few things off the shelf. Combine that with their cashiers signature, Oh, did you ask that I do one very specific thing with your groceries, like double bagging really heavy bags so they dont break while youre caring them? Right, right. But do you mind if I do the opposite of that?All together making Win Dixie the convenient place to go if you are close and have no car, and a giant waste of your time if you have a car and can go literally anywhere else.

The quality of most goods was better than I expected, but seemed to lack the variety that even the lowly Publix maintains, and is a necessity for any modern supermarket..

I sometimes pop in here for some quick items. But today broke the mold. I got very sick from eating the meat from the meat dept. I made spaghetti tonight and within an hour I was running to the bathroom. The package expiration date said 3/2/2021. Today is 2/28. I wouldnt trust anymore meat from here ever again. Once this happens I am DONE.

This is a nice Winn Dixie with lots to choose from. Staff was helpful and tried to help even if they didnt know where to find an item. Clean well maintained store.

For parents who participate with the WIC program... Winn Dixie is great for checkout purposes, lines are never obscenely long, there’s always multiple cashiers available at registers. Also, items are properly labeled for the WIC program. Cost otherwise are fairly higher but they have great sales and deals to offset that.

This store was not very helpful in their seafood dept. Had an add and was told it wasnt in this store yet went up to the front and got an add love and behold there it was.

Staff is friendly. Checkout is fast. Store is pretty clean. Prices for typical grocery items are priced higher than WalMart, but there are less people and shorter lines at the register. Remember to stop in front of the liquor store to pet the 2 stray cats for good luck. Leave a fish or meat treat for better luck meow.

The deli, I asked the attendant how fresh was the hot food meaning (when did the chicken came out). She replied its always fresh. Usually when this question is asked the server usually gives you an estimate of the time it came out. Didnt like her attitude didnt purchase the meal. There has been times when the food is old and not tasty, I buy the hot food a lot.

Theyre really spruced this place up. Everything is red themed now, half the stuffs on bogo, and the aisles are well-stocked and organized. I feel like those people in the I cant believe its a Chevy commercials. I cant believe this is Winn-Dixie.

Winn Dixie is the closest grocery store from my apartment. They have lots of items in their shelves to choose from. They also offer discounts and promo which is very helpful to the community. I hope they will sell more Asian fresh veggies like bitter gourd and more.

I got very little service and waited for someone to come to the seafood department for about 10 minutes. Their equipment was not working so i waisted about 40 minutes waiting for help because it took that long to tell me that is was not working

I was very impressed by the eagerness to help. I was in Gainesville for medical care and not only did Winn-Dixie have everything I needed and wanted, they also are an impressive community contributor and supporter. They are awesome! The store is clean, well organized, and the staff is helpful and friendly. I felt out of sorts being far from home and receiving medical care but had such positive interactions there, it helped keep me upbeat and positive during a trying time. A grocery store with a heart. Who knew they even existed?!?
