This was my first time buying from a dealership and I went by myself. Jody, Mike, and Amanda made this experience incredible. Jody was so patient, kind, sure to answer every question, and was so honest. Amanda was great at keeping me updated with every step prior to coming to the dealership. Mike worked hard with banks to get the best possible deal. This was the most fun and stress free process thanks to the team. 10/10 recommend and will be back when it’s time to trade in again.

We were traveling across country with our 2020 GMC HD3500 pulling a 5th wheel when the check engine light came on. When we called to schedule an appointment Lindsay was fantastic and worked us in the same day, when other shops within an hours drive quoted weeks. We were lucky to get to work with our service advisor Michele who was awesome in every way. She sent someone a driver to another dealer an hour away just to get the extra parts needed to fix our truck the same day! While I waited she offered to set me up with books on tape if I got bored and or a ride to get lunch nearby. I also got a chance to talk with diesel specialist Matt that fixed our truck and he not only answered my questions but he even offered me the keys to his own personal truck if I needed to go somewhere while I waited. These people were so nice and went so over the top to be helpful I would easily drive hours out of my way to come here again, and recommend them to everyone I know. If you need quality friendly dependable service this is the place. Thank you Lindsay, Matt and Michele. Youre the best!

Took our van in to see if a noise I was hearing was something serious enough to not drive it to FL on vacation. The service manager was very knowledgeable and helped us understand the potential issue and gave us the options we had. She didnt try to sell us on anything necessarily, but laid it out for us to choose. In the end, we didnt even get charged the normal $100 diagnostic fee and I thought that was really awesome.

It took exactly two months from start to finish to repair the A/C on my 2018 Impala. I understand that the pandemic has affected the availability of parts and mechanics but the lack of communication was frustrating. Driving a car with less than 28000 miles through the summer months was unbearable at times. Im very thankful that Jesse J Perez was in my corner and came to my rescue more than once. Alls well that ends well. The repair is complete and was thankfully under warranty. Again, a difficult situation would have been a bit easier had communication been better.

Brought my vehicle in to have the engine checked. They ran a check on it and there was nothing wrong. The lady that checked me in and out was very friendly and listened to my concerns. They moved a tire from the front to the back when I bought two new tires for the front. The tire pressure sensor failed and they said they would replace it but that was a month ago and Im still waiting. Ive called an even left a message but I still have no answers. I guess Im cursed when it comes to buying tires there. The last time I bought tires there I had problems. Maybe I will learn my lesson this time.I finally got my car in and the sensor replaced but now the tire pressure system module need replaced. I just got two new tires. Everything was working fine before the tires were replaced. Now I have a major problem.

There seems to be a problem with the wear of my tires on a vehicle I purchased new at another dealership in August 2020. It had been a demo vehicle and had 7,000+ miles on it at the time of purchase and has just now turned over to 20,000 miles. The Yemm service agent took note of the unusual wear on the tires as well as the unusual fact that the vehucle had required a ball-bearing replacement in June. Leslie at Yemms has set me up for another appointment to check out the suspension whereas the dealership that sold me the vehicle was quite nonchalant about those concerns and details.Thank you, Leslie, for your attention to unusual details!!

Only had service done to car. Had a recall performed didnt reset CEL(direct relation to CEL). Also didnt put things back in the car where they found them. I will not have them work on any of my vehicles, I dont know what details they may have missed.

I am the customer from Hell, visit online stating which vehicle I want and how much I am willing to pay for it. (Just FYI 2 dealers before you basically told me this deal could not be done.) Your people, starting with Ms Cooper, all said they would see if the sale could be done at my offered price. And they did it!Thanks to your sales team I am driving a new 2021 Equinox Premiere. I had a 2018 Equinox LT, that I loved, it unfortunately (while someone else was driving), hugged a utility pole!

If you are thinking of going to Yemm Chevrolet, don’t do it! Absolutely hands down worse experience! Took my Yukon in to get fixed due to the air not working. Had it for 11 days, called me today told me it was fixed. It was not fixed at all. I leave tomorrow on vacation in 90 degree plus weather with the kids. Call and speak with the manager, has no customer care experience at all. Nothing they can do is what he told me. Has no vehicles available . Bring it back in when you get back from vacation. I had a great experience with the staff at Yemm! I personally worked with Kursti, Jesse and Tyrrell. I inquired about a 2017 Fifty Anniversary Camaro they had for sale on a Monday and Kursti took additional pictures and video of the car that day for me. I discussed the numbers the next day with Tyrrell the sales manager and came to a fair and agreeable price within 1 hour, put down a deposit and booked my flight from Virginia for Thursday night. Tyrrell and Kursti got me in contact with Jesse to setup a time to be picked up from my hotel in Peoria on Friday morning. Jesse was very personable and even drove us around Galesburg that morning to show us some of the sights since we had never been to Illinois before. Jesse had the car detailed, pulled around front and full of gas when we arrived. We spent 30 minutes going over paperwork and getting signatures, Tyrrell offered a very competitive price for a extended warranty knowing that we were out of state and would not be going 800 miles back to the dealership for service which we purchased. By 11:30 we were leaving the dealership and headed on our 2 day road trip back to Virginia! I couldnt be more happy with the car, it is absolutely stunning! The service at Yemm was top notch, family oriented, no pressure, competitive price, great communication and a very smooth transaction overall.

We do all our vehicle maintenance with Yemm. But disappointed this time as they initially charged us more for the tires than what was quoted. If I had not had the quote with me, I would have had to pay the higher price. Also will have to return to shop as during the tire mount, technicians damaged 2 rims. They admitted the damage and will make it right but that is more time and effort on my part. Disappointed!!

On March 9, 2021, I had an appt for them to find out why the icon on the passenger mirror would come on sporadically when no vehicle was beside the car. no results that day, had an appt on the 12th of March at 10:00 am to leave the car and drive a loaner. no car available until 12:00 and that loaner was dirty inside and out. Yemm had my car 2019 Equinox until March 20. the problem is still not resolved. Waiting to here back from Yemm, car still under warranty and the problem is still there. I believe, although I am not a certified technician, that there is a short somewhere, or the computer is not functioning properly for this feature. Hopefully the problem will be resolved soon.

I had been looking for a very specific certified pre-owned Buick Lacrosse and they just happened to have the car. I had a budget and of course was shown a higher priced car. I decided on the car I could afford. The inspection report said the tires were good on it only to have two (2) experts look at it and the front tires were in desperate need of new ones. Only when I said this to the salesperson, the care was taken back and re-inspected. Of course I was correct. The manager came out and said there were two vehicles like that and this one must have got mixed up on inspection. I did not buy that for a minute! Instead of taking responsibility, he passed the buck. (not very professional) After an appointment was made the following week to get new tires, The vehicle was picked up from my home 15 miles away from the dealership. I had a 1/2 tank of gas and when it was returned and detailed the gas level was less than a quarter tank. I called the salesperson and told her this. She apologized and said it was her fault. The next time I am in town to let her know and she will make it right. After purchasing a $30,00.00 car I am not sure I will use Yemm again.

I bought my vehicle in 2017 and have used Yemm for service since the purchase. The most I have ever paid is around 49.00 for an oil change. Imagine my surprise when I picked up my vehicle Wednesday and the cost was $64.99. Sorry but in my world this is on the high side for an oil change. When I contacted the service manager he was very polite and explained that yes, the cost had increased and I was not the first to complain. However, I feel it was very unprofessional in his explanation to me to tell me that dealerships make no money on oil changes. So I guess the dealership wont miss my business because I will no longer continue to be a customer of Yemm.

I took my car in for its regular oil change. I picked my car up and my engine light was on. It was t in when I took it in and no one said anything to me when I picked it up that the engine light was on. I called them right away and this was on a Friday and they said to bring it in on Monday. I told them it wasn’t driving right that it was sluggish. I did get an email from Onstar that my engine light was on and that there was a transmission/engine problem so I called the dealership back and told them this so they told me that it’s ok to drive but if the engine light flashes to have it towed in. I told them that I was not comfortable with that so I brought it back in the same day. A few days later I was told that the problem was a yoldd we in my inner cooler and it was going to cost me over 600 because that wasn’t covered by my warranty. That did not fix the problem and they didn’t know what else was wrong with my car. A few weeks later they called and said my car was done. And everything else was covered under my warranty.. I really don’t feel like I should of had to pay anything for my car to be repaired.

He went above and beyond what his job entails; we are so grateful for him. My husband fell in love with a beautiful truck that was unfortunately more than what we had gotten approved for. John refused to take no for an answer! He worked his tail off (with the help of a local credit union) and made it so that he could put my husband in the truck that he wanted! I want to personally thank John for taking us on this amazing journey and never settling for less! I will also say that all the other staff that we encountered were extremely friendly, they all make you feel welcome! Their business is immaculate, they all take pride in their jobs! I would reccomend John and the folks at Yemm!
