The Blick outlet is a great place to find deals on arts and crafts supplies. It has a range of supplies for many hobbies. Many items are discounted, as they are returned or have minor shelf or shipping damage, but are still serviceable, and great deals. The stock varies with the day, so visiting often leads to the best results. The staff are pleasant and helpful, and will order any items not in stock from the nearby warehouse. Its convenient to I-80, a short drive off the Galesburg exit.

Awesome selection of... well, everything! Over the years Ive purchased my big H-frame easel, along with all my oils & watercolors from Blicks. I lead a local 4-H club & purchase a lot of our group project materials there (the stretched canvas multi-packs are a great buy).The customer service is fantastic. If by chance they dont have what Im looking for, they can order it & I can pick it up there.Always a great experience.

You guys need to visit, they throw everything in the back that they cant use bc of overstock or damage, it is SO WORTH EVERY PENNY. I can easily spend way too much here but get a ton for my buck.

We love the store. Today we called to check hours. We drove from Peoria because your phone system said you open, but when we got there, the store was closed. The 5 minutes we sat in the parking lot 4 more cars came.I would suggest you change your phone message to give your correct hours, so others dont drive long distances to come to your closed store.

A large, dedicated art-supply store with a wide selection of supplies. If you need something art related, you can likely find it here, and the staff are eager to help. Theres also a bargain section at this store with relatively low prices. Overall, a good choice if youre in the area or looking for some art supplies you cant find at a mass-market retailer.

The staff are always super friendly and helpful, and they know enough about art and supplies to give genuine recommendations, not just up selling. Plus, there are always great finds in the warehouse!

Nancy loves the place we stop once or twice a year when we are in the area. She gets art supplies at a real discounted price. It also has a large parking lot and the dog can get out and excersi.

I always love swinging by this place when I have a bit of free time and a bit of disposable income. If you enjoy making art, this place is like a dream come true. The selection of art supplies can be delightfully overwhelming.Of specific note, is the clearance area. Take your time in here. Look for bargains. You will find them. This is a great opportunity to try something new. You might find a large sheet of a paper that you havent ever tried before, but always wanted to. Once you find a clearance sheet for 1/10 of retail, you may not mind that tiny tear that you can cut off or it may not bother you to try a new technique with that paper and have it fail. You might just learn something.

My 11 year old granddaughter is in love with this place. Shes an upcoming artist. Blick Art Materials has everything one needs to be creative. Its outside of town but worth the trip.

Helpful an has supplies

Fun art store on our way through on a cross country trip. Got there shortly before closing and missed the discount part if the store Regular store got to see and touch art items Ive only seen on line or in the catalog. Gave me a chance to check out the difference between a few different brands of color pencils.

They have a great selection, it was nice to be in a full fledged art supply store, they are getting rarer and rarer. If you go dont miss the clearence area, we found a couple fun things in there. The prices are fine - they are nothing to write home about but thats how it has to be with brick and mortar stores these days, they werent high either. Im happy to get a chance to shop the products in person and left with many new art supplies.

This is the headquarters, I believe, and has an outlet clearance section that never fails to have something useful at a bargain price. Get the preferred shopper card and always get the best price, whether it be brick and mortar price or web price. Good sale prices and a great selection of supplies.

This is their factory store so their back room outlet area is chock full of bargains; paints, brishes, easels, canvases, printmaking supplies, papers, you name it! I never miss this place whenever Im back in the area. It seems to be staffed totally by artists because they are very well versed in what they have and how to use it. The main area is chock full of everything you need and they carry multiple lines. Best selection of oils I’ve ever seen and good prices too! It’s worth the drive!

Other locations are great but this one has the added bonus of the scratch n dent warehouse where I have never failed to walk out with some awesome bargains on paints, canvases, easels, and just about anything else you might find in the main area. If you are an artist and are just passing through the area take the Knoxville exit off I-74, grab a bite, gas up the car, and go just about a mile down the road to visit this store. Youll be glad you did.

The employees were so helpful I almost felt like they were following us just so they could jump up and say Hi can we help you?lolOkay, the main store is perfectly organizes and meticulously kept up. Everything you could possibly need is there it would seem!But wait, it gets better! Walk through the big doors into the Outlet store and be amazed! Everything on sale! So many deals its slighty overwhelming! By all means- if youre an artist or someone who needs art supplies- come here!!! Great people great store!

Was looking for a starter for watercolors that not cheap but also not crazy expensive. They had all levels no matter what youre looking for. The store is stocked with all new product and the outlet attached had amazing discounts! Some things are still in the original box while others are clearly distressed but priced appropriately.

Love the outlet. Would suggest a better way to organize or label the products alot of ripped boxes/ packages because you cant tell whats inside. A printed picture on 8 1/2× 11 paper or just written with a sku to look up what the product is would sell more and avoid people opening boxes and losing pieces or making items unsellable.

I love this store every time I make the trip back home I plan to make a stop. I can always find something in the outlet.

Fantastic selection. I typically go here for the discounted outlet section. They have a lot of quality supplies here as well as in the main store.

My wife is a ceramics artist so we drive to Galesburg every few months to pick up clay. I always check out the newest things available in the shop and gravitate towards the overstock room in the back. Always end up with canvases and frames that would be difficult to get mailed. Staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. Stop downtown Galesburg while there. Great restaurants, antique store, and artsy stores.
