I walked in holding a washing machine belt. They helped me find the real part that was needed and showed me where it was on another washing machine so that I would be able to fix it myself when I got back home. The repair ended up being much simpler than I thought it would be. Nice and very helpful folks. Thanks Corlew Appliance Parts & Repair!

Corlew diagnosed my appliance issue, but was going to charge over $275! The drive out was $84. The part to fix my appliance cost him $6. He was going to charge me $49 for the part and $191 for labor. The labor consists of unscrewing a few screws, putting the part on, and putting the screws back on. To top it off, he was a little sarcastic. I will never use Corlew Appliance Parts & Service again. Word of mouth and the internet helped me locate a guy that I feel is still making a living but not robbing me blind.

Had the parts I needed in stock for my aged GE Double Oven. Open until 1pm on Saturday was also helpful. Nice people to deal with.

Reliable, honest. On our clothes washer repair, John saved our 20 year old machine. Presenting problem was loud banging during spin cycle. Then that led to discovery of a of an oil leak.First he projected possible future costs of maintenance, offering to cancel the repair if wed rather buy a new one. With our commitment to invest in our older, better built washer, he made the required repair of the transmission seal and vibration damping mechanism. Along the way, he fixed a worn motor coupler, drilled a new attachment hole for the damper spring and replaced water hose washers, all to head off future problems, and at no additional charge!Our old machine is now purring like a new one! All for one half the cost of a new unit with a 7 year life expectancy. Projected future costs are $50, based on most likely failures.The attention to details and commitment to the customer are exceptional.

I actually haven’t called for any kind of service from this company because their service truck door wouldn’t even close!!! They had closed with a hasp. If they can’t even fix the door on their own service truck I wouldn’t trust them to fix ANYTHING!!!
