Last shop I visited during my stay in Galveston and would say it would be the best shop I had stumbled upon. From the time my 2 yr old daughter and I walked in we were greeted by the owner and was offered his help when needed, but of course was just browsing and really wasn’t planning on buying anything until I found the cutest made turtles I couldn’t live without.I really was surprised to even see this store open on Labor Day and during check out I had asked the owner if they had a business card & an online store. He proceeded to tell me that the last/most recent guy that was working for them created an online store and was good about posting their items to social media but had left them because he needed full time hours and because the owner and his wife were in their late 70s that the online store wasn’t something they could keep up with. This shop was really beautiful as they had an area they were raising money for pups and another areas they were giving back a percentage of sales/raising awareness for the sea turtles! The owner was sincere with great taste as he helped me choose which single little turtle I should take home :)Really wish I was able to spend a little more time looking around, but I guess smelling all of their great candle options took up all the time my child’s curiosity/interest could handle! 10/10 would recommend stopping here when visiting Galveston!Check out the pics of my beautiful new turtles and my choice of candle from this shop! Candle was $12 and big turtle was $21 and small was $6.
Cute shop!
This store opened in 2012 as a furniture store and has grown into a local artists display of craftsmanship, and gift items. It is a fun, eclectic shop. The store is located in the Heart of PostOffice District in Downtown Galveston, Texas. I find the store to be a little bit addictive in the sense that I want to go back everytime I am in downtown Galveston. There is always an item of interest for every artistic taste. The prices are well worth the items.
Items are so unique and price is very reasonable.
Cl9se, convenient, good hours, friendly and helpful.
