Byron and Ben helped me get a great mattress and pillow! Sleeping much better now

I had to come back and change my review from my original. At first my experience was very good. Me and my husband put in a order for a mattress here and was told it would be 2 days for delivery. Not even 10 minutes after leaving we got a call saying it would actually be 2 weeks. Then after 2 weeks it turned into another 3 weeks at the earliest. We decided this was way too long and asked for a refund. The refund took over a month with constant phone calls. Every time you call youre put on a long hold (one was over an hour) and there was always some type of issue with the return, and i was always told the paperwork on the managers desk who was supposedly always in a meeting or on vacation.

Charles took excellent care of us! He went above and beyond in customer service and gave us the best price around. I havent had a good night sleep until I got our new mattress. Delivery was prompt as promise. Do yourself a favor and see Charles.

Came into the store yesterday and was helped by Brianna who was amazing. She help me find exactly what I wanted for an amazing price. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone!

I recently came in looking for a new mattress. I had no idea if I wanted firm or soft but one of the employees there named Brianna really helped me find the perfect fit for me! I will be coming back to by my son a new mattress when he outgrows his crib and will definitely recommend my friends to visit Ms Brianna as well! Best customer service I’ve had in a long time!

BUYER BEWARE!!! Would go lower but not able to give negative stars. I purchased a mattress and adjustable base from the Galveston Store, told them I would be happy to write a good review for them but everything went wrong very quickly. 1st, if your sales person misleads you into believing your entire purchase is under the 190 day guarantee its not. We were told the base would fit on our bed platform, I described it in detail so that I didnt purchase a base that would not work, he assured me it did. Also when I called a sales person at the store months latter they also said it fit on platform beds so they are misinforming many. I made the purchase in august and have been trying to get a resolution to the base ever since. The 2nd thing that happened is the base was delivered 3 weeks late, then the delivery people had my employee take apart my bed while I was not there and I came home to my disassembled bed in my bedroom. I have been calling every since and their corporate office says that they are leaving messages for a district manager that never calls. The sales person when I called the store stated he was the assistant district manager, I found out he was the same person that was the sales person that mislead my husband and I in the first place. The story goes on with no response from a company that will promise you the moon and not deliver. Absolute worse company to deal with, buyer beware on this company, it is not worth it because they will not stand behind there products or even call you back.

Customer service was good. Dustin, the service representative seemed to be knowledgeable and was very helpful. The prices were very reasonable. I would recommend at least a look.

We have purchased two mattresses from the store on 61st St. We have always received GREAT customer service. Their prices are great. The manager Dustin is awesome !

Great experience at MattressOne on 61st street. I bought two high quality mattresses and enjoyed an efficient delivery. Above all, Dustin was the best part of my experience. He was personable and professional, offering guidance and clear information. He made a difference on a day when I was dealing with time constraints. I appreciate him and because of that, Ill return to the 61st Street location next time I need a mattress.

I got a set of California King box Springs. Was fortunate enough to deal directly with the manager, Dustin Stacey.He was the best person I have bought items from who was not only extremely knowledgeable about the product, but after shopping around I got the best product for an awesome price.I highly recommend this location and sales person/manager!!

Charles (I believe) was my sales person and he was wonderful. Extremely helpful and when I bought a mattress but instead needed to switch for a box spring, he made it happen.The reason I only rate two stars though is because when I switched the mattress out for the boxspring, there was a $50 difference. I paid in cash, so I was told that I would receive a check in the mail within a few weeks. A few weeks passed by and I did not receive a check. So I made a few phone calls to the office, but every person I was put in contact with basically brushed off what I was saying and told me to just wait a few more weeks and the check will arrive. Well, it has been six months and still nothing. Ive made numerous calls and sent emails, but still no check or response. It may just seem like $50, but its the principal of the matter.

Was sold a mattress that was out of stock and not told until the evening before delivery. Was unable to reach anyone that evening or the next day, the business doors were locked during business hours, no one answered the phone and the corporate offices were less than helpful. Reporting them to the BBB and the Attorney Generals office. Still waiting for my refund.

I originally bought a mattress and box spring in February of 2016 from Dustin I think, he gets all the good reviews on this site. He no longer works there. I financed this set on 6 months no interest 4,000.00 credit line. I paid that off, but after a year i was unhappy with the bed. no ones fault but my own. Anyway I went to but a new one from Shaun(horrible reviews, also no longer works there) I felt good at the time buying from him, no red flags. I purchased on 07/14/17. I had improved my credit by 100 points, he convinced me to get a new line with 60 months, 0 interest purchase $2,000 or more. I qualified and confirmed with TD financing/Renovate my payments would be $37.00. When I finally get my first statement, they have me at 28% which doubles my monthly payment. I contacted the store 2 weeks ago 08/16, he said he would call the district manager it would be fixed in 24 hours. I waited 2 days, and called back. He didnt remember my situation, then said his computer was acting up but he would call the customer service and his dist mgr 2 days later, nothing he gave me a number to call customer service. They promised me they would not give me the run around and I would hear by 4 pm that evening, nothing. I called again, they said there were no comments on my account, so the problem had not been recorded/registered. but they would contact the DM, it would be fixed by the end of the week, they would call me. nothing. I also contacted renovate(finance company), they said the paperwork was sent in wrong, it had to be fixed at the store. The next step is to make this more public, Im thinking news stations they can read the other reviews of sales done by Shaun, maybe they can investigate the possible fraud that Mattress 1, has no interest in fixing. I have had 5 different calls with them, all placed by me, everyone promised the District manager would call me. to date, no word from the DM. Consistent with the most recent reviews. 1st call placed on 08/16/17. My first payment is coming due and I dont want to hurt my credit by waiting until its fixed. This review may excessive, but I will not pay double, what they promised I would pay and I will not let it go. I am a 1st time home buyer, I have set a budget and I will not be bullied by Mattress 1 Galveston.

Great service and good quality mattresses

Had the worst experience here today with Shaun from mattress one. We were shopping for twin mattresses for bunk beds for our vacation home after buying a pillowtop full mattress here a few months ago. Shaun deployed all the worst sales tactics and engaged in the worst type of game playing. He showed us a sealy tempurpedic mattress which we liked. He then showed us another memory foam mattress which he said was more expensive than the sealy tempurpedic. He told us the memory foam mattress would be $600 for both mattresses but we preferred the tempurpedic which he had initially told us was less expensive. He then told us it was the same price, and claimed that he had never told us it was less expensive. There were three of us and we all heard him say the memory foam was more expensive. He was really rude to us, and incredibly rude to a really sweet lady who was in training at the store. She was really helpful and kept us at the store longer than we would have stayed if wed been dealing with Shaun alone. She was really doing her best to help us. She was wearing tailored patterned shorts and was dressed in a smart casual professional manner. I had no problem with her appearance. Shaun greeted us by apologizing for her appearance. He said she was dressed professionally this morning, but went home for a break and came back looking like you guys. Not only was he making us feel uncomfortable by commenting on her appearance, he was also insulting us and our appearance. We said we were interested in buying two mattresses but were actually considering buying four since we have two sets of bunk beds. When Shaun was rude to us and rude to his coworker and when he then engaged in bait and switch games with pricing we spoke among ourselves and said we might check out mattress firm to see what they offered. Shaun became even more aggressive stating thats fine you can do that if you want, theres a clearance section in the back of their store you can check out. We heard his nice female coworker ask to speak to him privately and he flatly and rudely told her no. He made us feel so uncomfortable, and he lost out on a minimum of a $1000 sale. Stay away from this place, especially if Shaun is working.
