Their dollar bin has a lot of gold in there. The only reason I am not giving a five star review is because they dont have a lot of back issues for Marvel, DC or Image and they over price their sports and pokemon cards for some reason. Other than that the owners are nice and friendly and definitely check out their dollar bin. Possibly the best dollar bin in all of Michigans comic book stores.

Heard someone saying they reseal their Pokémon cards. Well here’s my third chunky rainbow pika so I’d say they really don’t understand the concept of what reseal means lol

Tons of Pokemon, yugioh, sports (sealed and singles) coins, plus an entire extra side room filled with comics. Clean, organized, had some chill music playing.. good vibes, great store.

The employees are so welcoming and helpful! I love that they’re asking their customers to wear masks again, clearly they care about keeping themselves and their customers safe.

Me at 10 years old I like this store the day when I came in my eyes were full with stars and when I came to the counter it was amazing there was a ancient new a shiny Rayquaza all of it was amazing and probably if it was my birthday Ill probably spend all my money on it beacuse its really fun and maybe when Im 12 Ill work there and get a halve job but I love this shop and I wish it well get great :D

If you like waiting for employees to be done opening hundreds of packs of cards before they help you so they can sell them individually and not leave any packs for the customers then this money hungry place is for you. Enjoy not being able to see cards because they let grown men take up counter space going through boxes of cards while there’s a whole table in the back they can use and customers have to move around them

Had a really nice experience here. I collect figures, Pokémon cards, and manga and they had it all. Its so conveniently close to my house too 😇 The manager ( I think he was at least ) is really nice and welcoming. We will be back!

Good shop but not the best value. Today was release day for Evolving skies, A to Z wanted $50 for an elite trainer box and had a 1 per person limit. Bought my 1 then went to RIW in Livonia, $39.95 for the exact same box and no purchase limit (bought 3 more at RIW). Should have just went to RIW first. Still 3 stars as A to Z is still a good shop, just not the best value on prices/limits.

The owner is a massive douche. Silver, sports cards and figurines are definitely overpriced. Highly recommend three kings instead for sports cards if your looking for way better deals. Please be more nicer to your customers! Won’t be coming back!

The younger staff is super nice and helpful. They understand more about trading card games that are not sports related and can be super helpful sometimes. They are forced to limit items and hike prices up due to them not receiving their full allocations, so be patient with them and understand that supporting a brick and mortar store is more beneficial to a hobby than supporting a scalper.

I absolutely love this store! It has figures of everything! Anime, Movies, Action, Super heros!You can buy tons of comics and old Manga and brand new ones! I really love looking at the Manga at this store.Really good prices on everything to!

I called them to hold the digimon tcg starter decks. All three decks for 50 was a good deal (with all the scalping going around). When i got there all three decks were in one plastic bag. They werent in the box. But all three for 50 was still a good price, i told myself. When i got home a made sure that all the cards were there (seeing that it easily could have been tampered). Luckily, all the base cards were there. all in all i got what a paid for but was disappointed that there was no box, no card pack (comes with box), and no play mat.

Was on the hunt to open some packs with my brother and was really disappointed. I felt rushed and pushed by the guy behind the counter, prices were not reasonable and overinflated(5 dollars for an absolute base), even the please and thank you he said sounded forced, the only good thing was the cashier and his manners. This place is a cornerstone of the area, great selection of comics/manga/cards/funko/coins and the owners actually care about the product! Fun place to chat and hang out with the stellar staff as well!

The shop is filled to the brim with collectables of all kinds, they live up to their name and more for sure. The people that work there were extremely helpful, had a great sense of humor, and are very friendly.I was there for trading cards personally and they have a large selection of sealed, single, and related accessories like sleeves and binders.

People who leave bad reviews don’t understand that in order for any business to make money on what they buy it needs to be for less than what they’ll sell it for. Its simple business... A-Z is great, great selection for coins and sports cards and one of my favorite local businesses.

Cool staff, they have everything you can think of that is comic and or trading card related. I came to get an offer on some coins and was disappointed in the offer, but I know nothing about the coins so I took them elsewhere. The guy seemed straight up and I didnt think he was trying to rip me off, just didnt offer what I wanted.

Im typically a little nervous when I walk into these kinds of shops. My knowledge of the card games that are popular now have dwindled since I was a kid.That being said the staff has always been super helpful and nice to me everytime I walk in. They always answer my questions and are very prompt in asking if I need anything if I look puzzled.I usually go in here to purchase pop figures, the owner cycles the inventory of them regularly from what I understand.If youre looking for a nice local card shop, this is it.

The guy that runs where you buy the books is really rude. I asked about some pokemon cards. I asked whats in there he was rude and told me there not for me.. Crazy considering I come here alot the guy on the other side with the basketball cards is cool tho.

They got this plastic thing hanging barring you from seeing anything, they barely have any products, everything is more expensive than comps on Ebay. They just look like thieves that want to take advantage of people during a pandemic.

Fantastic store! We wanted to get the kids reading material for our trip from MI to TN and you cant go wrong here! they have an amazing selection. I think we spent over an hour and still didnt see everything! Tons of $1 comic books, lots of great reads. Kids got some actual books and loved them. Big manga selection.

Ive been going to A-Z Comics for over 15 years and the service and quality of product has always been spot on. The staff is fantastic and always ready to help, ready to find you what you want. If they are out or dont have it Rich and the two Mikes will do what they have to do to get it for you. The selection is excellent and extensive. At the same time it is not over crowded and cluttered like some shops can be. I highly recommend A-Z to everyone I know as an excellent example of what a great comic shop can and should be.

My good friend of twenty five years, who is trustworthy, brought his collectible coin to be appraised. They switched his coin somehow with a less valuable coin. He is disabled and didnt have his glasses on him. He went to the police but they said its his word against theirs. They should be ashamed of themselves..

One of the best comic book shop in the area. The guys are friendly and fun to chat with. They carry a wide selection of sports cards & memorabilia. Along with other popular games. They even have a gaming room where they regularly hold tournaments or pick up games. For me I go for the $1 comic books. They have an endless amount to plow through and you never know what kind of gem youll stumble across. At the very least you can get a lot of entertainment for a couple dollars. We have to support our local comic shops and I will continue to do so till the day I die.

This comic shop collects and sells rare coins. This makes it unique among the shops that I visit. Its seems small compared to most of the other shops. Im a big fan of duel masters and kaijudo, so I was excited when I noticed they had some cards for a decent price.

Good place, but wont cut a deal on old items. Theyll sell you a 10+ y/o comic as if it was new. Good for treasure collecting, bad for niche collecting.

I have been to a lot of comic book shops. They always remind me of being young and my excitement for what was held in each small book. I wanted to read them all. Coming into A to Z comics reminded me of those times. The big difference between this shop and others was that the staff was friendly and happy to see you. I hope into many shops and the staff seems annoyed you just walked in. They also usually smell like they havent showered that week and are disheveled. Not at A to Z! They looked up books I have been looking for, talked nerd with me and I never felt out of place just wandering the store. I appreciate a good comic book shop and A to Z is a good one!

I’ve been coming to A to Z for years and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I’m always welcomed when I come in with smiling faces and hellos. I specifically remember a tall girl behind the counter with blondish hair who stopped what she was doing and took the time to help me find the Pokémon packs I was looking for as well as assisted me with pop figures. She was kind and seemed to really enjoy her job. 5 stars all around to the staff and for her specifically for being an incredibly helpful worker. They also have decent IN STORE prices. You may be able to find some better prices on EBay but you will not find better customer service. WILL NEVER STOP COMING HERE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Staff was very quiet and by themselves and they want cards from 1979? I have shoe boxes full of 1980’s football,baseball, and basketball cards and they won’t even take a look at them. Do not recommend this store

Exactly what the name says. Many comics, sports trading cards, and coins, but dont arrive assuming there will be board games, video games, or even a large selection of other collectables. Still, the shop has a great selection of what it does offer and the staff is friendly.

I have been looking for a place like this! It has any comic book that ever was. Sports memorabilia that makes your jaw drop. Coin prices are right on. I LOVE this store. It really is a treasure. I urge your innner nerd to run to this store!
