Would absolutely Rate ZERO stars if I could this place is the very bottom of the barrel! Went in to buy a table employees are unaware of corporate policy! Especially one incredibly rude employee named Danita and her bad attitude, told us we would be escorted out of the store when I politely informed her what the corporate policy is on the matter. Got the pleasure to meet Supervisor Monte and he at least price matched.. also unaware of corporate policy. Please educate your employees and DO BETTER.

Itd be helpful if you guys kept your store hours up to date. You know, so I dont be driving all the way out there - for nuthin. God bless ya.

I placed a pick up order for 6pm around 3 they called me and told me I could pick it up early anytime because they finished it early. The AC in my car broke on my way to the store and it’s a 97 degree day. All the spots are directly in the sun, my car has no way of cooling and I have a toddler who’s not even 2 in the back seat. I can’t call or text to check in because I’m early it rejects it, even though they called me to come early. I finally reach the stores customer service and they transfer me and the guy checks me in. It took 40 minutes to get my order in my car. 40 minutes with my toddler in 97 degrees, I poured water on him to keep him cool because he would’ve overheated dangerously. We did a pick up order because my husband had my card at work with him. I couldn’t just go in and buy the groceries and as much as I wanted to just leave I needed the groceries bad. The guy informed me and everyone it was such a long wait because he was working pick up BY HIMSELF. He said everyone who was with him, including the manager, left. On a 97 degree day, customers shouldn’t be parked in the sun for almost an hour because people want to go home early. This poor guy was sweating bullets and was super nice, he should have had help so he himself had time to cool down and drink water. I usually frequent this Fred Meyer, but I’m considering shopping elsewhere because that’s just ridiculous. The fact that they called me to come early when they knew there was one person alone and he was running behind was awful. My kid almost overheated. 40 minutes is way too long for anyone to wait for a pick up order. My order was only a $17 order.. (including pick up charge). It took 40 minutes for a $13 food order that I paid $4 in a pick up charge on. The employee left by himself was set up for failure.

I like that they have a Reduced plant sale section. They have an excellent produce section and the store is always clean and they keep items stocked throughout the store. If there are shortage problems, theres signs saying so and apologizing or limiting the number of items you can buy.

Love your store but your meat department needs work. Cant tell you how many times Ive given up and walked off because I cant get anyone to help me. And when someone does finally help me its like there it convenienced by me.

Now I see why it was discounted... no chicken involved and I was so disappointed! Just stopped to grab some chicken for a salad and couldnt even consume this overcooked matter!

I go to this Fred Meyers pretty regularly and it is always clean and well kept. The staff have been helpful and they are constantly busy although they will take time to help a customer out. One of my favorite places to shop for day to day as well as clothing and almost anything else that I may need.

Our favorite grocery store to shop at in Boise. When we lived in Boise we made friends with 3 of the workers and was even able to see two of them during our recent visit. Great people!

Today April 25, 2021 I purchased a head of iceberg lettuce from the produce department and when I got it home I was dismayed at the quality of the lettuce. Inside it was becoming brownish. I was able to get about half of the lettuce head chopped but am very disappointed with that quality. Fred Meyer does pride itself on freshness.

I am giving that last extra star because I found an extensive magazine section with one in particular providing modern cannabis education. Im impressed. Otherwise there are so different departments including a healthy living section with plenty of gluten free food. I found a new nutmilk that cashew and almond labeled carrageenan free. A beautiful produce display and a draft beer, kombucha, and a pineapple cider that unfortunately was empty.

Employees here do a great job and are very friendly. This store has done a very good job in light of Covid. The grocery pick up option is very good and helpful. They enforce masks in the store, and so it seems like they care about public health. Also, good prices if you use the rewards card.

Not sure why only one side of the doors are open in the mornings. Makes it pretty inconvenient when you need something on the non food side and have to park on the left, walk in and go all the way to the right but you can exit from that section? Doesnt make any sense.

Great variety of Christmas stuff! Seriously, there are isles and isles of it. Friendly staff helped me find the items I needed. The only negative thing was that it was really crowded and took a long time to get checked out.

I asked the women in the bakery for help with a label and she said she couldnt help me. She was to busy....really?

I was at my local Fred Meyer on Glenwood today and an employee (older white male) in produce yelled at me across the store for open carrying (which is legal in my state). As a female, shopping alone, I choose to open carry for my own protection, and I shouldnt be harrassed by an employee for doing so. I called the manager afterwards, and reported my complaint, and there was zero apology, and she simply said thanks for calling and hung up. As a long time FM shopper, Im disappointed in the response.

Great atmosphere with friendly employees and an easy layout to navigate. I always feel comfortable when I am shopping here. I actually dont remember a time where Ive had to ask where something was, as things are stocked and positioned in a coherent fashion. They have a great selection and reasonable prices, my only issue is that certain items are considerably more expensive here than at other stores. This isnt a widespread thing, however, and only applies to a few items as far as Ive seen. I would definitely recommend shopping here, especially if youre looking for healthy meals with fresh ingredients.

There was a minor inventory issue when I purchased a couch on Black Friday. The manager Ron, and the back room manager Don, went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I got our couch that day. they were very good about finding where I would be able to get the couch and then offering me multiple options as to how I could get it or if I wanted a refund. This is a particularly awesome Fred Meyer and I will be shopping here for many years to come over other local stores. Thank you Fred Meyer!!

Very nice store with a great selection and helpful staff. Their organic and health food section is huge! During the warm weather, their garden department is a great resource.

I bought a bunch of food with my friend and we went and ate it while chilling on the plush recliners in the furniture section. 11 out of 10 would recommend. We had a great view of the TVs in the electronic section, the store music was great, and recliners are now 25% off so go buy them now. Two thumbs up. Five stars.

You never have Pillsbury Gluten Free cake mix or Pillsbury Gluten Free pancake mix anymore! You are often out of gluten free Mission tortilla shells!! Please stock more of these items you obviously go through it fast!

I rushed across town to the Fred Myers located at Glenwood and Chinden in Garden City to pick up my friends prescription, he is very ill. I get there and it appears to be open because there’s several cars out front. As me and four other people approach the entrance, the doors are locked. Why is there such inconsistency in your stores hours and operation?I go to return an item at one store that’s perfectly fine, and the next time I go, they harass me because I don’t have my receipt. They tell me I have a limit of how many returns I can make per quarter.Fred Meyer, if you would like me to continue to be your customer, learn to put customers first, and have consistent hours and policies across the board!!

Customer service is very friendly and patient. Very clean and restrooms well stocked and clean.

Asked if they had a certain product in the store & the customer service lady replied with What the hell is that?Never ever should you curse in front of your customers. She was absolutely no help and rude.

Went to customer service today to rent a rug doctor to shampoo our carpets. The guy at customer service tells us they arent renting them out because of covid19. So my spouse and I looked at each other as we were walking away and said lets hit up Walmart (our friend just rented hers from Walmart last weekend). The guy from customer service stops us and tells us that rug doctor as a company stopped renting them out not Fred Meyer. Well, we just rented out a rug doctor from Walmart and are shampooing our carpets! Maybe you shouldnt tell customers that you cant rent one out from anywhere just because the company you work for decided not to rent them out at this time.

Freddys is probably my favorite store lately. Their produce is always fresh and they have by far the best, largest selection of everything (especially produce)! Prices arent always the cheapest but never the most expensive. Perhaps Freddys best quality is their staff - theyre ALWAYS extremely helpful, kind, and on the odd occasion that things are wrong, they go out of their way to make them more than right! I also like the Simple Truth brand because its not super expensive, the ingredients are straightforward and always delicious.

Clean and well stocked. Most of the time they have great deals on clearence and the staff is really helpful in finding what you need and deals that arent marked. Some things are a bit more expensive than other stores but they do have double coupons and I love the fact you buy things you would normally and get points towards gas rewards as well as other discounts.

It so comfortable

Dont expect to get in and out quickly early on Saturday or Sunday mornings, they only have 1 register open and will let it back up. 3 people standing around will pleasantly guide you to the self check out. Ive already worked all week and dont feel I should have to do someones job for lack of wage or discount, seems to me at least 2 of the 3 standing around could open up a couple other registers and get me to my weekend more quickly. Just my opinion, I do like the rewards points, maybe they should double them for those who use the self check out

This store has high quality produce, meat, and seafood. Its got a decent selection of grocery items, a wine and cheese section, and a separate section for home goods, clothing, and just about anything else you might need from furniture to a crock pot.This is my favourite store in the area. Theyve got everything.

My grandmother shopped here and only here for decades until the day she died. Fred Myers has a nostalgic charm for me but the prices suck. Now and then they have a decent sale on some shirts that win me over, but I almost never buy food here these days.

Never again!!! People are always rude here. Pricess are marked wrong too often. Today i left crying after an associate violent outburst and manager acting annoyed i complained. F this store

Overheard an employee talking about how she shops at Walmart because their prices are better than Fred Meyer! I thought it was kinda funny but the reason for the 3 stars is because- the entire time I was shopping there was announcements on the loud speaker. It sounded awful. I couldnt understand anything she was saying. I just kept wishing music would come on instead.

It a nice place to go. I love the hot food area and the sweet treat counter. It is a bit pricey.

I love this store. They have a little bit of everything, from your regular everyday staples to many ethnic ingredients. Have a great staff, and the store is always in impeccable condition. Im glad theyre my neighborhood store.

Went to the service deli to get food while shopping. They rudest customer service rep Fred Myers has helped us. Her is name is Liz according to her name tag. Will not be using the Fred Myers service deli hence forth. I would think customer service training would be included with her job. I dont write reviews like this very often, I am not a negative person. I know people have bad days, Im not perfect, but this lady went above and beyond to be rude and discourteous. I used the words please, thank you and have a nice day. None of which appeared in her vocabulary.

*ATTENTION MANAGER* 2:50 pm november 25 I went to the deli tried to get a combo plate, like what you would get at Albertsons etc. This wasnt an option, totally fine. I received two pieces of chicken, 2 cups of potatoe salad. The lady behind the counter grabbed an roll from a kings Hawaiian pack left outside not sealed. When i went to eat saw that it had mold on it. Maybe retrain your employees in this department on better food handling. Didnt bother going back in for a roll, but that doesnt mean the next guy wont.

Good store for one stop shopping. Kind of like Wal-Mart but more expensive and better quality, especially the food. They sell organic produce here. Also, their electronic department doesnt get picked over, so sometimes you can find things that are sold out practically everywhere.

The prices arent always the best in town, but this store literally has everything you could need in one place which is hugely convenient. Not to mention they have a play area for little ones, so you dont have to keep them cooped up in the cart, another huge benefit for parent shoppers

This is an older Fred Meyer, but it was renovated a few years ago. It is clean and well-stocked. The staff is very friendly and approachable, and theyknow where to find what youre looking for.

This remains one of my favorite grocery stores in part because the produce is reliably fresh especially compared to some other markets and virtually every department has a diverse array of items, including the some brands not readily found elsewhere in this area.

Really nothing special. A friendly employee directed me to the one item I needed and I was checked out promptly. Downside: The parking lot can be hard to enter and leave during busy hours.

This location is closest to our home, and we always find what we need. Staff is always friendly and even when I forget my coupons, they always find an ad and add all applicable coupons. The only reason its not a 5, is the parking lot.

I went to Fred Meyer on chinden and glenwood, yesterday to purchase some customized cupcakes. When I came to the bakery there was a really nice lady there to meet me, I wish I remembered her name. She told me that normally you need to place cupcake orders 24 hours ahead of time and I came at nine and needed them by 4:30,. She also told me that they had a lot of orders for the day to do. But after that she said that she would find time to do my order and that they would be ready by 4:30. The fact that she had so many orders to do and I didnt come 24 hours ahead of time and she still made time for my order and was very nice made my day.

Seriously? Not honoring my loyalty coupon (exp 2 days prior) for less than $7 was worth more than my business? Amazon is just a click away.Thought I would try it again. 4 out of 5 of their customer loyalty coupons did not work at POS and the cashier even wondered why they send these out when they do not apply to just about everyone’s purchases. ‘It is frustrating when they expect us to have to tell them that their coupon does not apply’. I had her throw the rest of the ‘coupons’ in the trash.I will seriously take a look at Amazon tonight when I get home.Pathetic Kroger!

Prices are higher than winco & Wal-Mart. They do have fresh produce and a very clean store. Employees are friendly and helpful. They have a deli but is quiet pricey but is fresh and clean.

My reagular grocery store. Always clean and most employees are friendly and helpful. Today two of the items I purchase regularly was out of stock which is a bummer because I am disabled and every grocery trip is an ordeal. This is not a common occurrence though and usually everything I need is usually in stock. My only concern is there is one guy that works there and is frequently working the self checkout lanes. He gets impatient and snapped at me once when I was using the self checkout. If you pick up a bag and move it to make room for more items the machine gets an error and the attendant has to clear the error. One time I was trying to make room and moved a bag he came over and yelled at me Dont pick up the bags until after you have paid. Sorry dude but its not my fault your machines keeps doing that. None of the machines at my other stores do that.

Its a completely standard Fred Meyer. Not really a whole lot to say about it. Its layout is odd to me but I find that true of a lot of Fred Meyers.

One of the nicest stores around love that they have self checkouts gas stations complete with mini stores and a bank and babysitting area and electronics its like albertsons but better only issue is pricing
