Only came into H Mart to eat at the food court. I ordered some vegetable dumplings, naengmyuns, and a shrimp fried rice. The food came out really good. I didnt get to walk around the market. I will definitely come back here before I go home to Las Vegas.

Im a simple meat and potatoes guy. So going to an Asian grocery store is a different experience. There seem to be a wide variety of fresh foods and food products, most with labels in Asian languages, so finding what you want could be a challenge. But if you are a bit adventurous, this is a good store to stretch your tastes. Give it a try!

They have such good snacks and items that you normally cant find in your traditional grocery store. I love H mart because its so organized and clean. This location also has a food court with some wonderful food so its always a plus to shop and eat!

Its a nice clean Asian Marketplace, large selection of fresh fish.

One of the best clean Asian markets around the area. They’ve got warm food in the back. Great for picnics etc. it’s a Korean market so lots of different kimchee, side dishes, marinated ribs etc

This supermarket is big and clean. It has lot of Korean food for someone who like Korean culture. The food and vegetables look fresh and clean. They also provide sample food for customers to try for some new products. I like the ricecake there. One bag has all things ready for you to cook like rice cake, fish cake, sauce. The Korean Beef is perfect for home BBQ. It already marinated and it taste great with grill or air fry machine.

Like most Asian markets, produces freshness & great prices are second to none! ABSOLUTELY no comparison to any other American grocery chain stores. HOWEVER, any non-Asian products are ridiculously overpriced, i.e.: small bottle of Mayonnaise, about $6-$7.This particular location is one of the largest and best branches. They handout disposable plastic gloves, disinfectant sheets and carts! 😊Awesome customer service! What else could you ask for? 😊

Fresh produce, bright and clean seafood area, plenty of meat cuts both fresh and frozen. plenty of options for everything Korean related and then some. The restaurants in the food court are great.

This is more like a upscaled convenience store. Everything here is better than the stuffs you find at your average supermarkets. Their meat section is great if youre into premium quality beefs. The place is clean, no fishy odor.

They helped me find what I needed super fast. The workers there are really nice.

Love, love, LOVE this H Mart in Garden Grove! Wonderful, huge fresh produce and fruits and mushrooms! EVERYTHING you need is right here! All staff is so helpful and always courteous. I use to go here to do grocery shopping, specially to buy seafood, fish, and fresh rice noodles. They have cuttlefish and sea bass.nowhere else I could find fish that clean and a reasonable price as in here.It also has a variety of mushrooms, vegetables, rice pasta and sauces, more than others markets too.I love this place, is one of my favorites to do my groceries.The service is kind, the place is pretty clean compare with its competence Asian markets. Although, to say some cons, don’t forget your jacket or you are going to freeze.Definitely, is one of the best places to go to do your grocery shopping for Asian food!Oh they do also have some cooked food to sell.

This place is not bad overall. It is pretty big and cleaner than average markets but aisles are a bit narrow so barely get 2 cart width so people can get in your way when busy. Still, lots of selections available. Prices are okay. Prices are great on weekly specials. Some things are a bit more expensive compared to competitors. Their packaged meat are great quality. I recommend this place or Arirang to shop Korean grocery. Even good to take advantage of both stores weekly specials since they have different items for sale.

No complaints at all... I recommend the marinated meats and sushi rolls. Prices for everything else are reasonable to good depending on what you buy. Produce is fresh and generally cheaper compared to other supermarkets.

If you like fresh produce and Korean items this is your place. I feel like the Asian community took hygiene more seriously before the Rona so I feel very comfortable going inside. The seafood counter has fresh/live items, dont be afraid to try some live spot prawn (amaebi) or live sea cucumber, the look may be off putting but the flavor is unmatched. Channel youre inner Zimmerman

Hmart is my favorite go to place for Asian groceries. Their packaged meat always looks fresh and their sushi dishes looks amazing. Need some special wine or Asian alcohol. You got it. Here at hmart. They have bottles of different flavored soju as well. I enjoyed the peach 🍑

This happened today at 1614 - The guy (young,hispanic looking) who works in the fish department is VERY RUDE and VERY UNEDUCATED with his manners he is working in and DISRESPECTFUL. He CANNOT take SIMPLE instructions. He is not a very suited person to represent Hmart. He is an example of a staff who RUINS the reputation ofthe store. 1 star is too much to give.... ZERO is what this guy deserves!

I have no idea what is wrong with the cashiers attitude but cashiers who worked around 09 1930 Aug 2021 behaved very unprofessional.1) bagger at front didnt do their job instead just watched me try to put my item in my cart.2) when I asked to move out to put my item, bagger yelled at me saying dont ever come near to him (well then do your job genius)3) threw and smacked my item which damaged some of my groceries4) when I asked to see manager, play dumb and giggled with cashiers. (Didnt even got a chance to talk to manager)So, to sum it up, please be professional and take full responsibility if you asked to work and get paid! This is not school or playground. Also, well done security just staring.

I love coming here because they have a really good selection of flavorful items. I just wish the employees were friendlier.

Once you start shopping at places like H Mart, A.R. Mart and Best Choice youll realize just how overpriced places like Albertsons, Ralphs and Whole Foods are.H Mart has a good volume products, though obviously catered to Korean-Americans with the vast selection of Korean imported goods.The place is relatively clean though they could dona better keeping their open-bin produce tidy. Also it would be nice if they sold some items in smaller portions such as Daikon radish and Napa cabbage.Anyway this is a great place to shop. Just remember, though. As with all supermarkets, where items are cheap other items are marked up to compensate. So its best to shop at multiple grocery stores to maximize your buying power. Luckily for you, A.R. Supermarket is just down the road.

Soju. Nuff said. Deals come in frequently to buy a six pack for about $17 on the Jinro Chamisul brand. Flavored ones available too! My daily shopping place! Dumplings are usually on sale. I bought my portable gas range here too! Hite beer is pretty good for them soju bombs!

Great place for Korean and Asian foods. Smaller choices compared to other H Marts. The fish and seafood seems very fresh and the fruit and vegetables are ripe and firm fleshed. The service and workers are friendly compared to the other Asian market, towards non asians. We enjoy the selections. The prices are very reasonable, especially in the produce.

Most items here are a bit more expensive than other markets but you cant go wrong for coming here when it comes to korean products.

Conveniently located by Garden Grove blvd and Magnolia Ave. Market is cleaned and organized. Well stock Korean and other Asian food. Vegetables and fruits are fresh, so are seafood and meat.Employees are helpful and friendly.Would definitely shop here again.

This place is clean, organize, and the vegetables and meat is always fresh. They pass out plastic gloves and they sanitize the carts. Bring your own bags otherwise, $0.10 is the price per bag.

Before you walk into the store, they offer you a pair of gloves. Tried their kimchi fried rice and it was honestly the best Ive ever had.

When I am in Garden grove and wanted to cook Korean food, this is the place to go. It takes me about an hour or so to get here but it is worth it. Good size Asian store with lots to offer, fresh produce, meats, seafood and some deli food to go. They also had some small restaurants inside that offered hot to go as well.

They got a lot of yummy korean/asian nick nacks along with what a regular grocery store has.Always fun to find new (or new to me) korean items to try. Kimchi is sold fresh! Yum yum!Only down side is the high price on non exotic fruit.

AMAZING! my daughter is very into korean food and this place had everything shes wanted to try. They even have tampico pearls to make your own boba at home. Ive learned how to make my favorite, vanilla chai milk tea saving alot of money now that Ive mastered it at home. The place is clean and tidy with very friendly employees. Stop by after a day at Disneyland! 🎢

I always enjoy coming to an H mart, but this locations prices seems a little higher than one other location that I sometimes go to.

A great place to buy many Asian foods

Really happy with how theyre handling safety precautions during COVID. Door greeters help you with a cart or basket, hand out (if not insist on) disposable gloves, theres a free-standing thermal camera just inside the doors and clear markers to keep physical distance while checking out. Theres very clearly marked designated waste bins specifically for the gloves throughout too. The cashiers at checkout are still friendly while being safe behind a big plexiglass barrier. The flow of things is really well thought out to keep your shopping as seamless as possible, so you can get in and out.

Bring a jack. Even in the summer. The store is one big refrigerator.

I had a good experience here. During covid the staff handed me gloves to use inside the store and another staff member dislodged a cart for me to reduce the amount of contact. Every staff member I met was friendly. The only draw back really is the Irvine location is newer so the parking lot isnt as damaged. Beware that it does get quite busy so there may be a lot of people in the store or a line depending on covid regulations.

It was a bit crowded when I visited. For me, this place was always popping. I came pretty late in the day, after working overtime a bit so it was about 5 or 6. Overall, it was clean and busy

We picked up some fish, noodles and dumplings. They do have a great vegetable section with some tropical fruits.

They have Covid-19 protocols in place, and even provide plastic gloves for all shoppers as the enter the store. Great produce and KBBQ selection!

HMart generally has a good selection of quality products. It’s unfortunate that it’s ruined by poor service of their employees. The younger employees at this location tend to be less professional with their customers where they let their coworkers cut the line to check out their own items at the end of their shift. One of them didn’t notice the extra bags we purchased and started putting the rest of our vegetables into a bag of shiso leaves, which would clearly ruin the leaves inside. He didn’t even ask if we wanted more bags. It took me saying ‘can you not do that’ for him to notice the extra bags we purchased. They just threw our groceries in the bags in no particular order or care.They really should consider retraining some of their employees.

I usually get what I need or want for fruits, veggies, and Korean foods or products from korea. The store is kept clean, supplies are fully stocked always. I love freshly cooked Korean dishes daily and enjoy fresh sea foods. There are few Korean food restaurants and steamed giant dumpling place in the foods court located on the left side of the market

They put thing on sale and once you get tothe register they cancel the whole order.They said its a mistake in the fruit prices and meat department

I love this H Mart. Make sure to try their oyster mushrooms! They taste buttery and is a very great alternative to meat because the texture is like chicken tenders and it taste buttery without the butter! Contact me and I will give you an awesome stir fry recipe!

Cleaner than most Asian supermarkets in the OC=higher prices. However, you can get lots of Korean products and produce you cannot get anywhere else.

Clean but not not as good as the one in Buena Park. Shopping here during the pandemic means that the food court is not fully operational otherwise I’d love to try their different foods.
