I have done business in the past with Nissan Dealership when I got my 1st and 2nd car. The process has always been long, gruesome and stressful. Maria made our experience wonderful and laid back. I’m happy the experience went so well. I went in with my dad and my little brother for his first car. We knew what we wanted and she took in our input and worked towards that without any runarounds. Very direct, quick and headache free experience. We love Maria she is the best! Thanks for your help.

I didnt have a preferred Service Advisor, but now I do! Chrissy is now my go-to girl! Getting checked in took a minute, because she was the only advisor available at 1pm. Needed my 30K check done and she hooked me up with a great discount. The car was ready in less time than suggested and the pick up process was a breeze.

Always great and timely service. No hard up sell on other services. They merely suggest/show you your options but don’t try to push spending more. The facility was fully equip for health safety. They offer my shuttle service back to my home (I chose to walk) which is very convenient. I would highly recommend to anyone.

If it was possible to give zero stars I would.Paid for a service $606.95. Vehicle was smoking and leaking oil in my garage and driveway. The shop manager informed me that I would here from the store manager and she would process a check, not true. Called the store manager she was on vacation. Everyone was empathic initially. Than when I requested compensation for the inconvenience, I was told, no Im not doing that. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Sad, I was previously warned but didnt listen.Services were rendered at your location. I have left several messages at the number provided.

Worst place to buy a car or get your car fixed. This place is a major ripoff. Honestly, they’ll sell you a cardboard box car and claim it’s a new style. I was looking for a car under $18k and found a Honda Civic 2016 red for $17,500 . When I got there it was sold and I wasn’t upset because that’s how things go, with car dealerships you have to be quick. However, being quick doesn’t mean getting ripped off. I was shown a $16,500 Nissan Sentra 2019 and I decide that I liked the car. When I started talking financing with them I asked for the entire overview of the car and the final pricing breakdown, and I felt something was off. When the finance girl came over she showed me the break down and the car went from $16,500 to just a few dollars under $25,000. How does a used Nissan Sentra go up so much?!?!? It was $8,500 over priced!!! They were trying to sell me components of the car that are already included that are nonnegotiable, and some bs gps system in case the car is stolen that can be bought for $50 but they were selling it at $1,500 nonnegotiable. Needless to say I left. I understand cars go up a few thousand dollars because of sale tax, document fees, and gap insurance but the gap insurance wasn’t even included!Seriously, stay away please.

Everyone was just so helpful and gave us the best deal. They looked out for the best interest of the customer and not for themselves. I went in there thinking I would have to wait for a car but they offered to pick the car that i actually wanted out of the port. Overall I’m happy that I became part of the DCH Gardena Honda family.

Even though I came in just for a general maintenance service he was sure to check my AC site to the recall just by me asking for more info about it. I had just gotten my vehicle back from getting a repaired at DCH Honda in Gardena, when my check engine light came on. Thank God, all I needed was my oil changed. I was really happy when the members in the service department recognized from a few days prior. I know they see a lot of customers in a day. So for them to remember me was a great feeling.I have a very busy lifestyle and my time is very precious to me. Michelle Villanueva, made sure I was taking care of in a timely manner. I waited for the service of the oil change. It was done quickly and I was on my way back to work. The experience here is hit or miss in the service center depending on who you have. I stopped going for a while after a really terrible encounter with one advisor. Most recently I had a great experience with Marvin and another gentleman who’s name I didn’t catch. Marvin was really nice, professional, and straightforward about what I needed to address now and what could wait. I’d go back and request him specifically.

My Hyundai (not Honda) broke down recently near DCH Gardena Honda. Charlie Cruz and Art Jauregui were so very helpful.God I loathe going to dealerships or doing anything that has to do with repairing/maintaining/buying a car. I feel like I have a sign that says “take advantage of me” on my forehead. I usually have one of my brothers help me but my battery died and I needed to fix it right away.Art and Charlie both wore masks and gloves - so thankful this business and it’s employees take this pandemic seriously! They both seemed to really care and took the time to explain what I needed to have done. It was really busy at the time so it wasn’t unreasonable for Art to tell me it would take a few hours.Just over an hour later Art called and my car was ready. Reasonably priced.Clean showroom and offices.Seriously considering a Honda as my next car...Thank you DCH Honda!

On July 27, 2021 I took my 2017 Honda Civic for a service to Gardena Honda. They did a brake fluid service & oil change. 3 days later, magically a SRS airbag code appears on my dashboard, coincidence? My car didnt have that problem before & I just barely had 59,000 miles. I came back to the dealer to check it & they tried to charge me $189 dollars just to check it plus whatever costs repair needs. I just drove out really angry.

The service to the car was great. I been coming here for regular service since I purchased my car. The only think I recommend fixing or need attention to detail is the people you have parking and bring your car up once it’s ready. My last visit I literally sent 20-30mins waiting on someone to go get my car. The cashier kept calling it over the radio and no one was responding. She finally found one person to go but he said he had something else to do but that he will bring it up, turn out he didn’t. Then they find some lady to go get it, she comes back without the car, saying she found the first guy and told her that he will bring it. By then it’s going on 15mins. Then the cashier calls her again and she try’s to explain the situation. She finally bring my car up after waiting 20mins. When it should have taken 5mins top. They need to address the situation they have. Seem like they don’t know what’s going on or there isn’t communication between them.

Went in about a month ago, had seen their inventory before hand. After test driving 1car they take me inside (fell in love w/the car) It took 3 salesman/5hrs to give me the numbers I wanted. Completely exhausted and hungry, I signed paperwork without inspecting yes that was my bad. I tried getting customer service and a call back for 3 weeks!!! Worst customer service ever, no response and the 1 person Tim that said he’d help never answered nor called back. I have gotten two cars already from Honda and was thrilled with their customer service and the whole experience which made me a loyal customer and so I’d travel from Torrance to Gardena to continue my business with them, but when I went in this time around it wasn’t the same, it took 7 hours to get the work done, I had to constantly ask someone what’s going on and why is there such a long wait. Finally when I got the paperwork done, I had to wait and calm the sales person to ask if my car was ready, for delivery because he just disappeared for an hour. Finally at 8.30 pm I am given the keys to car with no explanation, I ask for assist because It was closing time n I had 2 cars to drive home they agreed initially,but when the time came to drive the car home they asked me to make two trips back and forth to take the car I came in and the new car that I had ourchased. They kept giving an excuse that there is low inventory, and so I was lucky to get a car, I eas offered any promotions and neither did I get a good deal. Just disappointed with the wholeExperience.

Made an appointment and asked to come at 5pm. No one provided help after 2 hours of waiting. Car dealers just hang out in the front office and refuses to make eye-contact as they are short-staffed. If dealership is usually short-staffed dont confirm more appointments than you can handle. Why would you confirm an appointment, clearly see that someone has been waiting for 2 hours, and not help them/tell them to reschedule as things have been backed up? They are just aggressively telling people to come in and for people to take a test-drive without having the right staff to handle their greed. Waste of my time

Bought 2021 Honda CRV 8 July, 2021 based on lead from TrueCar. Salesman was never able to give me a Lease quote which matched what TrueCar quote contained. Once I met with the Finance person, all was properly cleared up as the Sales people dont know the lease calculations. The Salesman led me to believe that the Etch was already done on the vehicle as the cost couldnt be removed, so I agreed to pay for it. I ordered Door Edge protection which hadnt yet been done to the vehicle. Amazing that after 3 weeks, the ClearShield provider hadnt been notified until I had to make a few calls to the Dealer failing with Sales and ultimately succeeding with Finance. As to why the Salesman did not initially follow-up by phone, email or USPS and did not respond to my email on this topic, no idea. :(.In short, great price on the vehicle after I had to haggle off several thousand dollars of Sales-added yet to be installed options to get back to what TrueCar quote was based on. I didnt enjoy my Sales experience and such could be improved by 1) Better understanding of Lease program, 2) Give the customer what the Internet Lead person and TrueCar had promised. 3) Follow through and execute on post-sale responsibilities. I must give kudos to the Finance Department as they were professional, timely and great to deal with. Your dealership did have a great selection and the car was delivered without flaws - Thank you.Follow-up:Customer Service professionally handled my remaining Windows Etch issue and promptly issued a refund for the service which had not been performed. Great friendly and professional Customer Service. Thank you.

I leased a brand new HRV from them about a year ago thru a broker. The car has been having multiple problems with the software system but the broker I originally got the car from was kind enough to go over the work orders and thoroughly explained the issues. Wait times can be rather long depending upon what time during the day you schedule, the service staff are very friendly and professional, you can trust them to give you a proper assessment, they’re very good like that. If you decide to wait they have a large waiting area with WiFi and its fairly clean and like most dealerships I think they provide shuttle services if you live nearby.

NOTE: This form response from the dealership is disingenuous CYA BS. They had a chance to keep my business and redeem themselves the moment they realized they had sold a contracted car out from under me. They have my contact information and could reach me directly at any time.A deceptive and time consuming nightmare. Under no circumstances would I recommend doing business with these people. I had my car stolen and was looking to buy a CR-V. I secured a a great price from true car and was encouraged by a sales representative to drop everything and come into the dealers.hip that night to secure the deal; which I did. At first they were reluctant to see me, when I finally got in with the sales person they saw the offer I had and agreed to the price, sending me to finance to “pre-contract” the car which was to arrive five days later. Over the course of those five days, I checked in to confirm the cars ETA as my rental coverage was scheduled to end on the day of the cars arrival. I spoke to several people in sales who were routinely rude and evasive. Finally on the day the car was scheduled to arrive, after having two conversations with a very patronizing and unhelpful sales manager, I was called by a different sales manager and informed the car for which I had a signed sales contract had been sold to another buyer. Mind you, my rental coverage has ended, and now I am left scrambling looking for a new car in a very difficult market for buyers

Don’t buy their lifetime oil change package.It is not valid outside the LA area.They try to sell misleading packages for more money.I thought I had a good experience but I realized the real deal after moving out of LA area.I am also surprised that Honda did not take any action against this dealer even after I officially complained to Honda.Even if Honda cars are great I have decided not to buy next car from Honda.While buying the Oil change plan, they misleadingly informed me I can change oil anywhere in USA in any Honda dealership. I should have been more careful of this misleading statement. Now when I carefully looked at the agreement, I saw I can change only in Lithia Service Center. After I relocated there is no Lithia Service center close to my home.Looking at HONDA BRAND, I was confident they will never cheat a customer. But it seems that is not correct. And I cannot prove it as I was not careful enough while buying the plan.So lesson learned is while buying car from DCH Gardena Honda, dont trust on their employees, rather go through the agreements very carefully. Because they might say a misleading attractive deal which is actually not true and false either.

I like going to get my oil change there but I don’t know why every time I go there something new pops up with my car apparently parts I recently bought suddenly need replacement I don’t think this mechanic are doing there job for example and not a suggestion or recommend I paid $206 for some spark plugs and I was told that they should last 100,000 miles haven’t had them 17,000 miles and they want to charge me $400+ for labor and parts hahaha and all I’m there for is a oil change have a good day I completely understand that you are going to ignore this and stand up for your employees but they are clearly not doing their job

I had been to different dealerships for the past two months and had such bad experiences. That I almost gave up on looking for a car. I went online and talked with Charlie Cruz. Charlie answered all my questions and offered me an appointment with Sailyn Cruz-Latigua the internet sales manager. I went in thinking I would mostly be disappointed and walk out without a car. After telling Sailyn what I was looking for and talking through the terms, my concerns, and what I needed. Sailyn reassured me that he would help me find the right car. I didnt feel pressured to make the sale that day. I didnt feel pressured to buy anything additional for the car. Sailyn treated me as he would a have treated a family member. I felt comfortable with the car and everything he recommended he explained the value of that service. I also did all my financing paperwork with Carlos and he was able to get me approved with Honda financing. Carlos explained everything very thoroughly and let me take my time reading over the paperwork. I left the dealership extremely happy with my purchase and will recommend both of them to anyone who is interested in purchasing a Honda! Im excited to be apart of the Honda Family now. Ask for the Sailyn and the EL Pepe Special for a better deal!!!

I REPEAT: PLEASE AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!To start, we received a Kelly Blue Book authorized appraisal from the dealership for nearly $20k on our nearly new, pristine Civic of only 4k miles.From DCH Gardena Hondas website, we selected two choices for a new HR-V we wanted to purchase -- then called and emailed and were assured the car(s) would be awaiting us upon our scheduled arrival.Upon arrival, we requested the salesman appraise our car; we wanted to confirm that theyd indeed honor the price quoted online. We understood the quote might differ; we simply wanted to know how drastically it would do so. But the salesman suggested we handle the new car selection first, handle the appraisal afterward.The salesman then searched for our 2 car choices only to discover after a long wait that (surprise, surprise!) both cars had been sold within minutes of our arrival -- what are the chances?!!!Insultingly, the salesman then offered us other cars instead, none of which we wanted -- none of which anyone wanted -- thats why they were still in stock!After another stupidly long wait alone in the salesmans cubicle, he finally returned with our appraisal quote: nearly $5k less than our online quote! (Again, the Civic we hoped to sell, purchased last year and barely driven due to the worlds shut down during Covid-19, was perfect and practically new).The slimy salesmans excuses as to why our car now appraised so low were so nonsensical, I was actually embarrassed for him.When, inexplicably, that salesman again left us alone in his cubicle, we wisely used the time to contact a reputable dealer (the exceptional and ethical Toyota of Downtown LA), and brokered a smooth, deception-free deal with them for a new car we happily drove off in a few hours after dutifully departing DCH Gardena Honda.(Though we ultimately purchased from Toyota, we sold our Civic to Carvana. They too provided an online appraisal of nearly $20k for our Civic. The only difference between Carvana and DCH Gardena Honda? Carvana kept their word. They played no games. They didnt waste our time. And they gave us the nearly $20k promised for our car! If youre selling a car, youd do well to check Carvana out!)Ironically, as I write this today, 7 days after our visit to DCH Gardena Honda, the HR-V we hoped to purchase is still promoted as available on the dealerships website -- a classic Bait-&-Switch scheme to lure potential buyers in, then offer em, say, an overstock/undesirable/or more expensive auto instead. So unethical! (And possibly illegal, too?!)Reading other negative reviews here for DCH Gardena Honda, I see a pattern with the dealership:1) Again, theyll rely upon the ol Bait-&-Switch routine to reel you in.2) Theyll promise a fair appraisal beforehand, then lowball upon arrival.3) Theyll offer the royal runaround and waste your precious time for hours.4) Theyll lie, make excuses and rely upon other unethical sales tactics.5) Ultimately, theyll make you regret dealing with them or prompt extreme Buyers Remorse if a purchase with them is actually finalized.6) No one deserves to be treated this way! Fraud, deception, lies and other unethical sales tactics are never acceptable, never deserved, never warranted. You work too hard for your money! Would like to give 0 star. Got an appointment to see and buy a car for 5 pm. They almost finalized the deal to buy the car over the phone. 1 hr drive in traffic and Reached there at 4.30 pm just to found out that car is not available. They They never update you about the availibility. Agent (Charlie) doen’t comes out to give you update but send some assistant after 20 mins of waiting to tell car is not available. Bad service. Zero star

The dealership was great. The service department is bad. My 2020crv middle seat belt was not in my brand new vehicle, they were gonna fix it but its all day job I was told, so I have to leave my vehicle and figure out how to get to work and back to pick up my car. They dont do loaners even tho its there mess up. Bad bad service. Step up service department.

Hi JamsonYou and Oscar (the young man who picked me up from Pasadena for the text drive) were both great. I appreciate your efforts in keeping my blood sugar up and getting me some honey and a milkshake from next door, even if I couldnt eat the milkshake. The finance guy was great too, although sadly I am forgetting his name now. I appreciate the extra efforts he went to contact the DMV, because there were some technical errors and getting my license and registration.However, Im still irked about the two $500 initial charges ($1,000 total) that were forced on me for the engravings on the windows for anti-theft, charges that were not disclosed on the initial posted price of $14,995. The fact that your manager would not remove the charges, and could remove the perks, makes my highly suspicious that they were already on the car before you received it. Im glad that it was eventually lowered to $250 each ($500 total), but that is still unacceptable in my book, and will be in my review of your dealership.When you post an item and its price, it clearly states that tax, title, and license are extra. It said nothing about upgrades. I know that me refusing your dealerships optional upgrades didnt net your company as much on the sale, but thats honestly too damn bad. No ones going to steal a $15,000 electric vehicle, because theyd need a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering and Computer Science to take it apart and put it back together. If youre that smart and educated, youre not going to risk your freedom for $15,000 worth of used car. I dont EVER leave anything in my car, and the ignition key is an electric remote (and cant be hotwired like a traditional gas car), so there is ZERO chance of someone breaking in. Id know...Ive owned Nissan Leafs in major cities for 5 years, including San Francisco, where there are more car break-ins than anywhere on the planet.When I sell a yoga lesson for $200/hour, I dont buy a $500 yoga mat that I make the customer use and then upcharge and force them to buy from me at an even higher price. I certainly wouldnt do that without telling them first. The fact that I only found out about this AS I WAS ABOUT TO MAKE MY PURCHASE FINAL makes it even worse, because Id already committed over four hours to test driving the car and visiting your dealership, and more importantly, giving your dealership and the Nissan Leaf the first interview for a sale over at least half a dozen other cars and companies. Then the back and forth a with your manager would keep me there for at least another 90 minutes, wasting both my time, money, and energy, and frankly, yours too. This is an old tactic used by dealerships everywhere, and a purely dishonest method that reflects poorly on everyones integrity at the dealership, even good employees like you and Oscar.Your manager and internet manager will both be getting poor reviews and your dealerships overall review will suffer for it. I know youre just an employee and not the one making the final decisions, and that you did your best to facilitate the sale smoothly, and so Im not going to come down on you at all, quite the opposite in fact. But I need you and your bosses to know that unless they have a sudden change of heart and want to remove the perks (or not) and refund me that extra $500, the worlds going to know that their ads arent sincere and that their integrity is questionable at best.Holding me hostage by not going through with the sale at the posted price, when you know my other options involve hundreds of dollars in Uber fares and lost time, simply is not acceptable.I hope you understand, and that your GM will act on this feedback accordingly.
