I love this gym. Nice environment, the machines are alway clean. Staff is pretty nice. The only reason why I rate it a 4 and not a 5 is because one of the employees from the morning an older asian man is always walking around the gym not wearing a mask vaccinated or not all staff members should oblige to keeping everyone in the facility safe. That specific employee not wearing a mask makes me uncomfortable. Thats unsafe and unsanitary 🤢

I’ve been coming to this gym for about 4 years now and I really love it. It’s a small gym but there’s enough equipment to go around. Because of covid, there’s an outdoor area which is very spacious. The staff is always cleaning the gym and the equipment is well in tact. Definitely love coming here.

I have been going to this gym for a few years. They have a good weights section - lots of cables, free weights, machines and 2 squat racks. I’m consistently able to get a decent weight training session. There are plenty of cardio machines as well so you don’t have to wait to get your cardio in. The staff is consistently cleaning the equipment. Highly recommend.

I canceled my membership months ago ALONG WITH THE PERSONAL TRAINING and I woke up this morning to a $99 charge from them! The fact that they’ve kept my account information this long has SCAMMERS written all over it. They’re clowns. I haven’t been to this gym since February of this year. I got a positive COVID test being there and was DONE.

This gym is really great! It has all the equipment I need, plenty of machines to use, also the restrooms are the cleanest from any gym I’ve been too and the staff are all very friendly and helpful!

Incredible gym with a magnificent staff. Always clean and organized and the membership plans are so much better than rival gyms with amazing equipment! Not only is the gym friendly and welcoming, they are incredibly flexible staying open during these crazy times and yet staying consistent with regulations and cleaning of equipment along with an outdoor area. . I was a member at 24 hour fitness and tried to go a more inexpensive route gym wise. Ive tried planet fitness, blink and fitness 19. I can proudly say Fitness 19 has been the best gym. I have a trainer Coach D and he is great. Makes sure i feel comfortable and i never feel out of place being that i havent stepped foot in a gym for 3 years! I highly recommend this gym to anyone and everyone! The best!

I’m so glad F19 has reopened! The accommodations for covid guidelines are great - indoor and outdoor set up allows for social distancing, temperature checks right when you walk in, and so many disinfecting sprays and paper towels all around.The staff is really friendly! James walked me through all membership options to ensure I was getting what I wanted and needed. He was so patient and diligent. Also showed me around the facility, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Great service!

This is a great place to start going back too, if you’re trying to step back in the gym setting! The workers are constantly cleaning. There are a bunch of sanitizer station to clean machines yourself. Temperature checks are the first thing done before anyone can enter to workout. Definitely check it out :)

Great location just overly crowded. It would be nice if they limited capacity to allow everyone to get a solid workout in without waiting for each and every work. I often have to change up workouts depending on what weights or machines are available. Overall nice equipment and good staff.

I am a fairly new member and I’ve been impressed with the gym And the staff who have been amazing and very knowledgeable. Because of COVID I was concerned about the cleanliness of being back in the gym but I must say it’s clean, and it’s highly recommended that everyone wipe down before and after use of equipment and I have actually witnessed most people doing this. The equipment is new and in working condition, and orderly which is a plus for me.

I wont ever go here again. And DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. I paid 1st and last month and annual for a month to month plan and cancelled after 2 weeks and they wouldnt let me cancel unless I paid for 1 extra month. Then they said I can work out for 60 days. I cancelled for a reason and didnt need the extra 60 days but their reply was Its fitness 19 policy I paid $132 for 2 weeks!!!!! Staff is great but I got jipped!

This place is amazing! I really love the squats rack since they have a deadlift platforms so you can already tell this gym has some high grade machines, the workers here are awesome too and so friendly if you want a membership talk to Jose he’ll help you out!

They are so on point with the cleanliness of the facility which has a great selection of gym equipment AND they have an outside area to get it in💪Only downside is I wish they had showers here! I signed up at mid December and it was a great place to workout, very chill. Then the place kept getting busier and busier everyday and at any hour of the day, inside and outside. Its like everyone in LA county started going to this gym. Everything is occupied, the space, the machines and the weights and theres no consideration to the others whos waiting. I went there the last couple of days and I couldnt even start my workout and left.

It’s replay easy to get a good workout in, there’s limitless machines you can go to and get a good workout in and they have a outdoor gym which is really nice with other machines and nice work out with your friends

I used to go to la fitness before the lockdown. I found this gym around my house . It’s not that big, but it’s perfect for everyday workouts . It has everything that someone needs . Employees are professional and it’s clean. Would recommend this gym

Looks pretty good, a bit crowded on the weight lifting side but with the outside as an extra section, its good.Cant wait to start going there.

The place is very clean, and the staff is super friendly. I like that they have an outdoor area and that they follow protocol. Recently started working out with Jamal, I like how he maintains focus on what my goal is, he gives a good work out regime, and hes funny which makes the work outs fun.

With the concern of Covid, I was skeptical about going back to the gym. However I have been going to fitness 19 for two years and I always appreciated the cleanliness that was maintained, prior to the pandemic. With this knowledge, my mind was put at ease. So I decided to go back to the gym and its been about two months. Its great! They have adapted to the obstacles put in front of them due to the pandemic. There is an outside portion to the gym for those not comfortable working out inside. The level of cleanliness is still up to par; there are plenty of sanitizer bottles and hand sanitizers everywhere. Also to enter the gym, people have to check their temperatures. Overall I highly recommend coming back to fitness 19 or if youre new, to come and join!

This gym is lacking equipment. Way too many people at all times of the day! I had to cancel my membership, i would wait 20 minutes to use a machine and i wouldnt even get a good workout in because everything was so full. If this gym got a couple more benches it would balance everything out but they have 2 adjustable free weight benches and 3 bench press presses, keep in mind this gym is packed and most of the time there is a line to use a bench lol.

I joined this gym in January 2021 and I am so happy I did. I was with LA fitness for 4 years before joining fitness 19. I joined fitness 19 Gardena because LA fitness has been closed for over a year due to covid. Becoming a member at Fitness 19 Gardena was the best decision I ever made and I dont think I will ever return to LA fitness even with them reopening. The staff here at fitness 19 are very friendly and helpful. When I first joined everyone was so nice and welcoming, one of the front desk members showed me around and made me feel so comfortable. They also offer a complimentary training session to new members which I think is great. I took advantage of the free session and trained with William. Will is super nice and extremely knowledgeable in fitness. He made me want to continue training sessions so I did but was switched to a different trainer named D. D is also super nice and funny and knows so much about not only fitness but health and nutrition as well. He has been such a great trainer thus far. Overall I love this gym, its clean and even offers outdoor services so it does not get too crowded inside. There is tons of equipment to use from cardio to strength training. Also they have so many amenities such as massage beds, lockers, changing rooms, etc. Amazing pricing for everything offered. 10/10 recommend fitness 19 Gardena.

Awesome coming here was so fun and relaxing. The gym is simple, clean, and well worth your money. It helped me deal with stress. I hope it reopens soon, Im a little bit out of shape.

All I wanted was a sense of normalcy with this ongoing pandemic. Getting back to the gym was something that brought a sense of this back. Of course I was nervous knowing that there is a pandemic. However, coming here is a good experience as it’s very clean and there are many sanitizing stations!

I had an intro work out with Jamal and also a second one with Maria. They showed me had to stimulate muscles that I didn’t even know I had! Also, big shout out to Sandy, Yarely, Jesus, Elizabeth, Jocelyn, Chris, and James. They are always there to help me when I approach the front desk with a question or concern. I had the best experience ever at this location in Lakewood! Ronaldo was super helpful!Finished my workout in an hour cause it was empty for a Friday night, compared to Gardena.Anyways Ronaldo helped me get a quick workout out, super appreciate it! It was my first time at the location & I think im going to continue to go. So much equipment is outside. Other locations only have upper body equipment. This has a nice mix of upper/leg machines outside. Its very spacious for walking lunges, there are free weights which Gardena never has cause people have like 5 next to their bench. Anyways, check this location out. Its got a 10/10 from me.

Fitness 19 is one of the best gyms I been to, especially since I didn’t really like working out in the beginning. All of the staff are really friendly and helpful to everyone. I was so confused about the protein shakes and energy supplements that I should take, and yerelli and jesus were very patient with helping me pick out the best supplements I need for after my work out!
