Friend recommended this ravioli place in Lodi. I was like,yea they are all the same. Fooled me. When you walk in the door you cant just help but not want to get one of each. Everything looked amazing. I bought some meat raviolis,a spinach rice ball & spinach bread. Absolutely amazing. Fresh as if they just made it. I say if in area, swing by.

I went there recently service was fast and efficient in spite of minimum of 4 customer at a time limit. There was a line outside, however I mustve waited 5-10mins before I was served... not bad considering it was new years eve.I tried mushroom/broccoli rice balls, although not my favorite it was all they have left. It was tasty, thumbs-up from me.

Everything here is amazing. Semolina bread is out of this world amazing!!! Get the sausage bread and mamas sauce.

Went there for first time got stuffed shells lobster ravioli sausage rice balls. Rice balls were good but I do not suggest the lobster ravioli had them tasted a little fishy spent the weekend in the bathroom with with diaria and stomach cramps. Thanks vitamia for the internal cleaning....

Its absolutely worth lining up outside at 6am on Christmas Eve morning to get their fresh baked stuffed breads!!! Their fresh homemade raviolis and manicotti are also amazing! There are many varieties of homemade pastas and sauces...yummy😋

Italian delis are few & far between these days, Vitamia & Sons had all of the foods that I remember my Mother buying when I was growing up, the great breads, cheese, olives & desserts. Ill be going back again!!

Fresh, fresh, fresh and delicious as well. The eggplant rollatine & the sauce/gravy was superb, the manicotti filled with delicious ricotta cheese and the calamari salad was very fresh and tasty. The prices are a bit high, but the the food is worth it. The store itself was brightly lit and extremely clean. I will be returning to this Italian gem!😀

This is the best place for pasta(fresh) and frozen ravioli. Always a favorite, well worth the hour drive to stock up. There clam sauce is the best!

Good traditional Italian stuff

Grabbed some bread, mozz and a cannoli. The cannoli shell was prob the best I’ve had. Not the same for the filling.. i literally am on the hunt for the best fresh mozz and this is not it. I love slice and eat, nothing added. The texture was off. Not salted whatsoever and didn’t have the option of unsalted/salted. I let it warm up, it just wasn’t good fresh mozz. I’ve had 2 of the best to date, one being warm fresh made right in front of you at uncle guiseppes. I also was the only patron in the store and have terrible mask anxiety, i pulled it away from my mouth (not off or down) when ordering and asking a question and the person behind the counter scolded me; i understand if i was close to him, but we were 10 ft apart and again i was alone in the store. Felt like he could have let it slide since removing it from resting on my mouth as i spoke wasn’t really a health hazard to him or anyone else... bread was good. Won’t be back

I have been coming here since I was a kid with my mother and let me tell you from real experience the place has changed drastically. I was just in a few days ago and it’s absolutely disgusting . Those 3 animals behind the counter with no masks on wiping noses and then touching the bread and giving it to the customers is just wrong. They have really let the place go to shame. I’m surprised more people haven’t gotten sick and the health department hasn’t gotten involved . Be careful when you go. And they say that the ravioli are homemade but the truth is they are not they buy them and put the label on them. Save your money and your body from getting sick. Most of the reviews are from friends and family and people they know that they asked to write reviews .

Fresh Italian products. Homemade raviolis, not just cheese but eggplant, vegetable, meat. Pasta products and delicious breads. Sauces also.

Really dont see many places like this anymore. Delicious food, the bread is absolutely outstanding as is the prepared food (highly recommend the eggplant and Artichoke). Employees couldnt be more helpful and friendly. Im sometimes intimidated walking into places like this, but I was immediately treated like an old friend. Will be back!!

Normally a great place. Either they have gone downhill or they had a bad day. First, they over charged us by $20 which we didnt realize until we got home. Without posted prices its hard to figure how much your order should cost. They were closed by the time we got home so we called the next day. Instead of trying to figure out what happened, they said they did not remember us and we must have ordered something that we didnt remember. That was NOT true. The rice balls which are usually great had a strong bitter flavor. The artichoke was dry and not cooked enough. The sausage bread and chicken parmigiana was very good as usual. Unfortunately they have lost a customer for life. Overcharge me by a dollar or two and I can look the other way. Overcharge me by $20 bucks and tell me I forgot what I ordered and I wont be back.

Vitamia absolutely doesnt need my review, theyve been the best since your grandfather was born. Its an institution.Street parking can be tough at busy times, like right before holidays.Capacity of 4 customers in the store with covid restrictions.Classic olde world style Italian butcher/ pasta shop.Stuffed breads are a must. Get pastas galore, sauces to go, Italian staples, cookies tiramisu.Id be on a strict vitamia only diet if I could afford it.

I live in Connecticut but have family in New Jersey and grew up in Garfield. Every time I visit family I must stop in to get the homemade raviolis to bring back to Connecticut. They are the best. Not only does my family in Connecticut enjoy them but then I make a point to share them with friends and neighbors as well. The stuffed artichokes are out of this world I highly recommend this place

By far a standout in Italian foods. I relive my childhood of downtown JC when I walk in and smell all the great home made dishes and the best sausage bead around. If you drive by without stopping in it will be a loss for you.

I will always love this place. Been going there for years the brothers are great kind and actually hold funny conversations with their customers. All I can say is FABULOUS and DELICIOUS

Good quality Italian fare. The bread is awesome and they specialize in ravioli of course. Theyve got so many varieties to choose from. Their store made sauces are really good and their sandwiches, although on the thin side, are delicious. Most people in the area look for sandwiches piled high, but honestly too many cold cuts ruined a sandwich for me,especially when the bread here is worth tasting. The meatballs were also awesome... I usually only get that quality when I make them myself. The 3 stars is mainly because there arent prices on anything in the store. Suddenly you spent 80 dollars on lunch and a handful groceries for dinner. Tough to watch your spending when you dont know how much its going to be until its too late.

My family has been a customer here for my entire life, 35 year old customer. Our Sundays arent complete without a fresh semolina bread, cheese ravioli and a sausage bread. One of the last great family business started many years ago and continuing on through the support of the enitre family.
