Absolutely outstanding. Tomahawk Steak could not have been better. The beef cheeks Fall Apart at the touch of a fork. Parmesan fries were crunchy and thick. The only thing I would recommend is providing house-made horseradish vodka, which they have at their other restaurant next door. However, the Bloody Mary is well-balanced, so I will not take away from the rating based on the absence of house made horseradish vodka. Bravo, I will definitely be back.Edit: We have just finished our meal with the cheesecake, and homemeade limoncello. Outstanding.

Price/quality do not match. 3000Rub per person.If you are a foreigner you might think it is an ok price, but it is way out of the normal price range in Saint Petersburg.Salad was very basic, menu does not offer really anything else other than steak.Burger was depressing with ready made buns from the store, price about 800 Roubles. Burger steak was overcooked.To be honest the quality of the meat was not up to my standards, they also offer better cuts but the price is close to 10000 rub. The best Russian food we have eaten in this city. The menu is diverse and it features also must- haves of traditional Russian food. Price for two main meals with drinks is around 6000 rubles. The service is what you would expect from this pricing level. The style of the place is classy and a bit dark.

A classy steak house. Good stroganoff per recommended by the staff. The fish steak was huge and beyond our expecttaion. Downside on the bone marrows. We love the Escargot but not as impressive as what we used to have. Pricy place. The staff were kind and friendly.

If you are a meat lover here’s def the place in Saint Pe ersburg. They offer all kind of meat from Argentina to local Russian beef. I ordered the stroganoff, the slices of beef were tender. I sat next to a table of a grandpa and grandma. Half of their conversation during the meal was complementing how good the beef were.The service was great as well.Do take note that if you’re on a budget, come here for executive lunch. I ordered a soup and a stroganoff it costs less than 700 rubles.

Awesome service and awesome food.The waiter that attended our table was very nice and friendly.The traditional/original stroganoff is indeed a MUST have, but the prices here can be quite high while the dishes are not so large. And that is why I’m rating with 4-stars.

4.2 stars. We had authentic beef stroganoff here which was delicious and service was prompt and friendly. I also had a Bloody Mary with my meal. This was a classy, clean and impressive restaurant but we did find it quite pricey compared to other locales we also enjoyed while in Saint Petersburg, though again, the opportunity to have real Russian beef stroganoff in Russia soon after our arrival on our short stay was not to be missed. All in all, this was an enjoyable experience.

This is a steak house that clearly knows its way around good beef. Food is very very good and always freshly prepared. The drinks pair nicely with any of the dishes that Ive tried. This place is not honest. Water is 410, which is more expensive than all the soups and many liquors. Bread and butter is not free. The only explanation is they want to rip you off and don’t expect you to come back anyways. It’s almost empty on a Sunday evening. I should’ve taken that as a sign and leave. The beef stroganoff is good, but I’m not sure it’s worth being cheated on. If you insist to come, check the price before you order anything!

Perfect fish ideas

Visited it yesterday and the service was poor. I had to call the waiter and ask menu, because looks like they were not going to help us. Only second waiter responded on my call properly, first one just nodded me and disappeared. Also I had to remind them about my soup, because again we waited a lot. I saw other visitors, leaving the restaurant because nobody proposed menu for them (I guess). I expected higher level of the service. Would not recommend this place.

Its the first time that ive tried Beef Stroganoff. Its very very tasty and soft !The price is not so high, also reasonable.Staffs are very friendly. Decoration with European-Style and look elegant.I wish i could go to St. Petersburg and join their foods again !

Fabulous restaurant with an array of steak dishes. The server MIKHAIL was very fluent in English and he recommended the most popular steak for me. He was polite and patient while I took my time eating the delicious food. The drinks menu was also very appetising.The seating arranging was a little tight but comfortable for a single customer or a small group.I went at lunch time and there was a family who were all talking and laughing, I felt like part of the conversation I was so close to them! Been there for a business dinner and really liked the place. This is a big place with lots of options like private tables, finger food by the bar or any other arrangement you wish to keep happy. The restaurant has live music and an extensive menu with lots of meat dishes as you expect. Prices are a bit high as you expect but reasonable for this type of restaurant.

It is an ok restaurant and the dishes were tasty enough, but prices are too much for what you get in terms of taste and portions. Even though foods and drinks are overpriced, they still charge you for even smaller things like bread and butter which is not an extra in many high class restaurants. A simple water is nearly as expensive as a main dish, which is just ridiculous even for a high class restaurant. Also, they didnt even bother to change their old menu with lower prices which is standing outside, so it is deceptive. When we notified the waiter about this old menu, he just didnt even take us seriously. I am ok with high prices as long as it worths, but this place just meaninglessly overpeiced. Taste is good but not amazing to be honest, there are better alternatives out there for meat with better portions, prices and attitude.

Exceptional food, the look and feel of the restaurant is amazing and one of kind. Service was proper. This is very much on the pricey side of things, so keep at least 1,000 roubles per person (at the very least).

Food and service were nice. I had a problem with their billing system. They dont add service charge and need to pay 10% separately plus tips. Inconvenient way. Little expensive but food worth it.

Beautiful clean and cosy restaurant pub in St Petersburg. The food was delicious and presented well. Warm and welcoming.

The food was so so. I would have rated it higher had our waiter been better. He was very condescending and tried to upsell my group at every opportunity. Someone in our party tried to order the grass fed Russian steak, but he upsold us to the grain fed, which was double the price, saying that what she got was ‘not good’. I then ordered water and asked for Russian water. I was then informed that ‘Russian water was no good’ and he opened the Italian water anyway. Not that happy and wouldn’t go back.

The beef gets perfectly cooked and the meat tastes good overall. The service is nice and the environment is relaxing and easily enjoyable. 4 stars because the bread used in the burgers is a mess and prices can be significantly high sometimes. Still a nice restaurant that I would recommend to anybody visiting the city.

We were poorly welcomed because we did not reserve. The beef stroganoff was very good, portions are big, beef a bit chewey but good experience all in all. Mashed potatoes with truffle were very tasty!

Such a mixed experience but I won’t be going back. On the plus side, the waiter we had was very helpful and friendly, and the steak tartare starter was exceptional.From there it was disappointing. For our main course we had the bone in ribeye and the steak itself was good. However all of the sides were cold and had obviously been waiting for the steak to cook. After they were sent back and reheated they were pretty much inedible. When they did come back, the steak was then cold.The hot desserts were also barely lukewarm - maybe their hot plate doesn’t work...We communicated all of this to the staff and expected something by way of compensation, all we got was a shrug of their shoulders.They describe themselves as the best steak house in Russia. From my experience, they aren’t even close to the best steak house in Saint Petersburg.

Very inpatient & impudent staff despite the restaurant being so empty. She kept speaking to us as though we dont understand English, but hers was more broken than ours. We enquired about the difference between the breakfast & lunch/dinner menus (no steak in the breakfast menu which defeats the purpose of coming here). Yes we did not make a reservation, but that does not warrant such poor attitude. We were merely asking because we wanted to see if we were able make a reservation for another day as they were full. Anyway we didnt want to patronise the restaurant in the end because of such third-rate experience. We were extremely disappointed because the restaurant was located in such a prime tourist spot yet their staff exhibited such a condescending & impudent demeanour. Their steaks may be delicious but I would expect more desirable service for the price they are imposing.

Worst food poisoning and worst service ever!!The service was so bad! The waiter (Evgenio) was rude and obnoxious, not professional at all! He knew we were not happy with his service and he poisoned us!We are experiencing diarrhea, vertigo and projectile vomiting.Very disappointing! I will not recommend this place to anybody! And if you decide to go please stay far from Evgenio! He is a very dangerous person!

This is the bees knees if it comes to boeuf stroganoff. The service was a little arrogant but very professional and attentive with out being ever pressent. I had the signature dish which was rich and delicious. We drank russian wine which was suprisingly good.
