Great little coffee shop in downtown garland. We’ve been wanting to come here for awhile and finally made it. The shop is super cute and very inviting upon entering. I got my go-to cappuccino which was delicious. I enjoyed the flavor of their coffee so much, I ended up purchasing a 5lb bag for home. They also had super cute “drink coffee, do good” shirts that I couldn’t resist. The barista was super sweet and helpful even though she was on her on at first when a few guests came in all at once. She handled it great. They have a good selection of pastries and food items of which we tried a couple. All delicious but my favorite was the cinnamon roll knot thingy. So so yummy.Overall, a great experience and I’d come back if given the opportunity.
Ive tried so many coffee shops across the DFW area and this place had some of the best coffees Ive tried! Their Gilmore Girls menu was excellent! The vibe is cozy and perfect for reading, conversation, or studying.
Nice on the inside. No prices on the menus which is fine but for the $18 spent on a warm lavender latte, a banana nut muffin I threw in the trash on my way out and a subpar bacon breakfast sandwich, I’d say it’s not worth it at all.
So beautiful inside and the Gilmore Girls theme is amazing as is the ambiance! The coffee was so good! Hopefully I can go back once in a while.
Rosalind Coffee Co is outstanding. It is a cozy comfortable place to enjoy coffee alone or with friends. The owners select the best coffees and really care about the quality of their products. I try to get here as often as I can. I love this place!
First visit. Breakfast tacos were fabulous. Vanilla Latte was delicious.
Masks are required to enter but can take off when seated at a table. They also provide hand sanitizer at the entrance. Employees are always welcoming, and keep place clean. I like the good vibrations(espresso & topo chico) such a refreshing drink, I’m burnt out on lattes. Their quiche is delish and lemon lavender cupcakes are tasty. Love this place!
The lavender oat milk latte made my brain melt it was so good. If I could marry a coffee. This coffee right here would get a ring .
My friend and I went to try the Ice and hot drinks, the chai was great for me I highly recommend this coffee place. Veggie bagel was sooo delicious 😋
Amazing coffee shop. Incredible lattes and fresh baked pastries.
Try the lavender latte! Great atmosphere and amazing coffee. Best place to sit and study or talk in the whole city.
Flavors are perfect, top to bottom. From the lavender and cardamom lattes, to the lavender cookies, grapefruit poppyseed loaf, and even the quiches. All of it is perfect. A very welcoming atmosphere, speedy service, and thoughtfully creative seasonal menus make this place absolutely perfect. I wish I could give 6 stars. Cant wait to come back and try more.
What a wonderful and delicious coffee shop we found by accident! It’s so relaxing. The coffee and food were delicious. Customer service is spot on. I’ll be driving back to Garland just to come here!
I’ve been several times and the staff is sooo kind & they have great coffee!!!
This coffee shop is straight out of a Hallmark Movie! So quaint and comfy, but tall ceilings and beautiful decorated for the season. The staff were cheerful and a delight. The seating is a mixture of comfy seats and big dark wood tables or marble top with wooden chairs. The have a great selection of coffees and foods, this is such a hidden gem! You could easily spend a full afternoon with a warm cuppa just chatting with an old friend, or even make a new one. All the other patrons were kind and talkative as well. Dump the corporate coffee(sbux) and make this place your new coffee shop! Youll be glad you did
Cute, but they stop serving breakfast at 2pm on Saturday and didnt state that on here so we wasted our time, arriving at 2:05pm.
It’s a pretty relaxing environment! They have good food! You can go study at a table and you can charge your computer but be AWARE! It can get packed to the point that there’s no seats! Also it’s not a quiet environment, there will be people that talk but I recommend putting on some earphones and you will survive.
Ive been a frequent patron of Rosalind until very recently. My latest experience is a perfect example of how poorly trained, unpleasant, and uninvested staff will indeed redirect would-be regulars to the competition. The coffee here at Rosalind is average. The same can be said of current staffs coffee knowledge. Some more knowledgeable than others. The saving grace was the customer service of two baristas on staff. Unfortunately, those two cant be at the shop all of the time. That means that the other baristas - and the manager, who are all sorely lacking in the skill needed to connect and affect, are left to wreak havoc on the hard fought relationships won by the great customer service of the two stellar baristas.A recent incident where the opening barista called out sick, and the shop opened 45 minutes late sealed the deal for me. The barista who who eventually did open the shop didnt let the small crowd of regulars in to settle while she readied the store. Nope! In fact, she said nothing - not even a grunt. Rather, she opened the door, let herself in, and coldly shut the door in our faces. After I called and requested that she let us in, given that wed already been waiting for 55 minutes by then, she said that she would need to check with her manager...who was already inside! She then hung up on me. After repeated calls, she did open the door and let us in after I assured her that we would not order until she was ready. She said that they had been having a really bad morning because the opener was sick. Wow!I then played host for a half hour, explaining to entering customers that while they could sit, the shop wouldnt be ready for orders for another 30 minutes. At one point, the barista interrupted me and shouted to the guests that she would be ready in about five minutes. I presumed that my host services were no longer needed, and I waited quietly while incoming customers queued at the front. 15 minutes later, the barista was still working on opening. Id seen and had enough by then. I walked out of the shop and headed to a competing shop.I will not be back to Rosalind Coffee...at least for a little while. That really is a shame.
Its cute. I miss generator coffee which was the former shop there. No prices on anything and overpriced. But i guess you pay for the atmosphere
Clean and smelled good, I didnt get coffee I had to leave. Well kept and stocked. Very crowded.
Great atmosphere and even tastier coffee. You can’t go wrong! I recommend R+C to all my friends
Fantastic place to get a cup of coffee (first refill is free). Comfortable place to spend some time. Lots of tables and chairs if you need to have somewhere to do some school work or browse the internet.
I absolutely adore this place, it used to be called The Generator but was sold and renamed. Back when it was The Generator, my friends and I would come here after school all the time. The service has greatly improved, in my opinion, with the change of ownership and the place looks much more open and roomier. The food is fantastic, as is their coffee and tea. There is live music several times a month and they host a variety of different events. Overall its a very trendy and has a great atmosphere. Its a great place to catch up with friends or just relax and get some work done.
Just Great! Great atmosphere, great service. Workers are all very friendly!Nice place to study or people watch.
Good Atmosphere. The coffee is okay.
I always have a good experience here. The vibe is very chill and comfy. Coffee, chai, and Italian sodas are all excellent. The food, especially the baked goods, are very yummy. The menu does change, so ask if what you want is available. If not, its a great opportunity to try something new.The staff is always friendly and courteous, theyll make custom drinks on request. I also appreciate that they take customer safety seriously and have kept a mask requirement and provide hand sanitizer.
Pretty cool spot. The place felt warm and welcoming. The coffee bar had some pastries for sale. But what was cool is that they sold wine there. On the Saturday night I was there they had a harpist and bassoon player. One thing I wish they had was some desserts or chocolates. While service was quick and kind, they looked a little sad.Bottom line: Nice place to hangout on an evening in downtown Garland.
Great atmosphere! Delicious drinks!!
I came here while garland parks and recreation had a gathering for día de los muertos, the coffee shop was still open but with just one employee :( the girl tried her best to fulfill all orders but it was obvious she needed some good help for all the people that came in that night, the store is really cute, is clean and very inviting, I will definitely come back.
One of the best coffee shops in DFW. The baristas are nice, space is great and they have a rotating seasonal menu thats great. Sometimes it even has a theme, such as The Office where drinks are named after various characters in the TV show where the drink kinda matches their personality. Such an awesome spot in a cool little pocket of Garland
Fantastic and quaint coffee shop with super friendly staff. The experience alone was great and the latte I got had great flavor and perfect temperature. The park across the street was to inviting, but would have been just as enjoyable to sit and enjoy at the coffee shop. Definitely worth the trip and on my list to go back.
Super cute coffee spot in a historic building in downtown Garland. There is plenty of indoor seating, and two small tables for two available outside. It is also walking distance from the square where there is plenty of outdoor seating and shade. The specialty and seasonal drinks are delicious and not too sweet, and the regular coffees are great too. Three drink sizes are available. Definitely my go-to in the area
One of the finest independent coffee spots on the metro. The drink is smooth, pastries selection is unique and delicious with a friendly staff and a cozy ambiance. Well worth the stop!
Great coffee and good people. Super nice location on The Square
This is going to be a permanent coffee stop for me. Having worked at a few coffee shops myself, its hard to find a flavor profile that I like when it comes to lattes. I tried the Nutella Latte and it was absolutely phenomenal. My fiance got the cold brew and added a touch of oatmilk and enjoyed it. Trish helped us out and was super sweet and courteous. The vibe this place has is like a vintage library, reeeeally laid back and the lighting is what makes it stand out with gorgeous lanterns and string lights stretched across the perimeter of a rustic brick interior. Dont skip this gem, its hands down one of the best Ive tried in a while.
My favorite place to study. Cozy and calm environment with professional and kind staff.
Would have given 5 stars, but customer service was poor. I understand wearing a mask is mandatory, but when someone is having difficulty breathing and they pull the mask below their nose, don’t force them to leave. Very poor service.
Always a friendly atmosphere and great selection.
Great place, everything is awesome, I would love if you guys play modern violin music, I would LOVE it!!
Great coffee shop!
This is a great place to show up and hang out.
Best coffee in Dallas 🥰
Great coffee, customer service, and place to hangout! :)
Excellent coffee, great pastries and a nice spot to work or relax and chat.
I cant tell you. You have to feel it yourself.
Omg! Im one of those people who live under a rock and was under the impression that Starbucks ran all coffee shops out of business. I cant believe this place has been a 5 min drive from my house this whole time! Its GORGEOUS insane I mean really! With the artwork and the atmosphere. The furniture and even the music. I was pleasantly surprised to see that all walks of life were in there (I honestly cant stand when teenagers take over a place) and did not feel like I was in a teen place. The woman at the counter was super sweet to us and helped us order and it just made us feel right at home. Will definitely be coming back!EDIT- I FORGOT TO MENTION THEY HAVE PLANT MILKS!
Great breakfast, fresh cooked food, and really good coffee.
They have great options for cold and hot coffee, amazing breakfast and brunch, and the live music is always a nice touch! They have lots of space for big groups, and unless they have the live music playing its an amazing place to focus and get some work done! I definitely recommend going!
I ordered Scott James or something like that which was a specialty espresso drink and Id have to say it was not bad, but it was a bit too sweet and a bit too pricey for me.
Very nice coffee shop. I liked the almond coated croissant
Great quality coffee, try a frozen caramel latte!
Super cozy atmosphere and great coffee! We tried their hot chocolate as well and this is the first time in my life my tastebuds weren’t blasted with an overload of sweetness. Perfect balance of sugar!
Amazing ambience.Great coffee. Great people.Has maybe the best coffee ever, employs the nicest baristas, and even their specialty drinks are very creative and tasty.Honestly, my favorite coffee shop, Id go to it more often if I could.
Great morning mixture good testing latte,Beautiful cozy place on down town Garland.
RUDE. Never again! After buying TWO coffees and leaving, the manager came out as I was driving out to tell me that I should not park in the street public parking directly in front because its supposed to be for call-in orders only. Yeah, they are pretty strict about masks inside, too. You lost another customer of 10-plus years. Its ridiculous! Figure out if its worth loosing a customer over a 5-minute-long park to BUY YOUR COFFEE.
Very cute place to drink coffee, eat breakfast/lunch, and grab a treat. The building has its old exposed bricks, which gives it a comfy feel. Food/drinks are delicious but a bit pricy. We got 4 tacos and two coffees for $20 - Id go back and pay it again though cause those breakfast tacos were damn good. Employees are super nice. They have free WiFi and seem to host events too. Overall great coffee place.
Why arent prices listed on the board anymore? Would be nice to know before I order. FYI, prices have increased.
Always great! Hand sanitizer at entrance and social distancing seating available. They also do curbside.
Nitro coffee is extremely soft and tasty
Excellent choice of lattes.. Try their seasonal lattes.. In particular the fireside. (cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon).. Excellent Fall flavor.
Everytime i go here im always greeted with a warm welcome and the drinks and food here are amazing i would definitely recommend going here for a sit and drink or a grab and go.
Wow this place is very quaint and very cute and very “downtown” vibe and I am very impressed. First time here and everything was amazing! Tried the ham quiche, delicious, lemon lavender cookie, delicious, blueberry scone-so delicious I’m getting one to take home-also got the sugar free vanilla latte and this is prob the best sugar free latte I’ve had ever!!!! You will not be disappointed in this place cuz I sure wasn’t! Will def come back
They are very willing to share knowledge and their coffee beans are delicious!!! Thanks!!!
This coffee shop was so beautiful, and the drinks exceeded my expectations. I got the chai iced latte, and I will say it was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The environment is calm and absolutely amazing. I felt at peace and relaxed from outside distractions. The staff was super sweet and they also followed all COVID regulations.
Please do yourself a favor and take a morning or afternoon to spend here! I absolutely LOVE the nitro cold brew!
The best cardamon coffee...and Christmas Vacay (hot chocolate and chocolate liquor)!
My new favorite coffee ☕ place
The best place for coffee in Garland located in the heart of downtown Garland. Big open dinning area, you can go outside to enjoy a morning on the square too.
Our absolute favorite coffee shop, and place to spend a lazy afternoon.
This is a really cool place in downtown Garland. They have great menu and very friendly staff.
Their coffee and tea are amazing. I had the midnight Paris tea with milk and vanilla and the avocado toast. It was so yummy.
Great location, good vibes
I miss when this place was The Generator, but Rosalind is amazing. Great place and super awesome staff!
Great coffee, horrible staff. Extremely rude and not even worth the effort to drive there to deal with it.
