I use to shop here every week when my son was 5 and I was a single mother at the time. They use to have the best prices on nice things. I know times change and 10 years later I couldn’t believe I was looking at $16, $20 and $25 used shoes. So technically you are a resale store. Not a thrift store. Your items were free you didn’t purchase them and have to make a profit on them. Definitely wasn’t looking for Plato’s closet prices. I think it’s sad. 2 stars cause the store is very clean. Your discount doesn’t make up for overpricing either.

Prices on freely donated items exceed actual value. Almost everything is well worn, so you walk away feeling cheated. While shopping in the womens clothing I began to realize how uncomfortably warm it was, thought maybe the A/C was not working. The workers werent very friendly and acted as though their only objective is Loss prevention. If an item is not priced too bad so sad maybe check back tomorrow. No thank you. How does this place help the community with such greed.

Staff is friendly and the store is always clean. The prices however are ridiculous. $8 for a pair of character socks you can find at Ross for $4. $85 for pre-owned golf shoes. $25 average for used sneakers. Point is you can definitely go to Ross or Marshalls and spend less. This was my favorite thrift store for years! I keep going in to see if management has regained some sense, but no luck so far. I shop both for myself and for reselling, but its getting to where theres no fun in treasure hunting there anymore.

Typical thrift store. They have lots of clothing and household items. Most days there is a tag sale. Can be hard finding what you want on the correct size, and sometimes the size label is incorrect. Good deal if you are trying to budget, especially now with back to school on Garland starting Monday.

Wayyyy too pricey. Often items were marked for not much off a new price. Too focused on making money instead of moving product. Staff was friendly though and everything was neatly arranged.

Used to be one of my favorites but wow the prices have gotten insanely high. Saw a skirt there today for $65 and it wasn’t even a big name designer. Junk from aliexpress and shein for way more than what they originally cost. Whoever is doing the pricing needs to calm down.

Worst thrift store around. Both the customer service and the prices. $30 for used nasty Vans that can be bought new for $30. I asked how much something was and it took 3 people before one spoke English and could tell me they dont have authority to price anything. Took forever to just ring up the few overpriced items I got.

I used to make this one of my frequent thrifty stops but had not been in a few years. I went today and OMG have the prices spiked thru the roof!!! Old, used items selling like new (on clearance. maybe but still...). I looked more at the household items, craft, and office / school supplies...did not even make it as far as clothing and shoes. I could not believe the price on school supplies! If someone is buying their school supplies from a thrift store, maybe they need a bargain!! They would do bette4r to shop a sale and get a new item.

Dressing rooms still closed and to make matters worse they took the mirror off the wall so we can’t try on coats or anything and check the fit! No mirrors whatsoever in a clothing store is plumb stupid!

I dont usually buy my kids clothes second hand but I love thrifting! When I get to this thrift store, it was so organized that I decided to take a peak at the kids clothes. I think I bought my 6 year old an entire wardrobe from here for like $120 which is amazing! It was all Old Navy dresses for winter time that are usually about $40 new and I got each one for close to $6 plus they were discounted the day I was there! I got both of my girls rain coats since we are going into spring for like $3 each! Tons of pants and t shirts etc.. I was so excited about what I spent there vs what I usually spend elsewhere that I saved this store as a favorite in my GPS. I plan on going back for some summer clothes for them!!

Whats in fairy happy with experience on the day that I went through you went to get pillows and that day was Orange today and there was a tag that has an orange on it but the price tag wasnt on. I noticed that whatever the color was it had the little plastic tag on it. So when I went to purchase it I said isnt it considered as an orange and some guys that because it didnt have a tag on it it had to be the original price. But you know the original price was to something and it was an orange tag then why could not get my discount. Very disappointed.

I came here to buy some cheap work shirts and realized I could probably buy a NEW pack of shirts from Walmart for same price or cheaper. If its a name brand items, expect it to be ridiculously priced. Wont be returning here to shop OR to donate. I wont support a thrift store thats greedy over FREE donations and you shouldnt either. Charging 2/3 the original price of things you get for FREE is flat out trickery. Yall should be ashamed.

The largest selection around from what I have seen. The prices are way too high for me to shop here regularly. Resellers will not find this place to be as profitable as some of the other local thrift stores. That being said, 2 of the 3 times I have been here they have gotten me checked out fairly quickly so that’s cool with me. Sometimes when it is packed it can be a lonnngggg wait though.

I used to come here twice a week for years but recently there prices are toooo high .Way overpriced for used clothes ! I understand they offer 30 to 50 percent off on certain days but even with that discount it still pricey recently their prices have gotten out of hand !

I really like that the clothes are organized by size.. but it’s very expensive for a thrift store. Many items are even cheaper if you buy the same brand in a regular store.

They always have good stuff here and the staff are pretty nice. I always leave with at least one thing I love.

Ive been coming to this Thrift store for the past 15 yrs. ! Love it. However i have a question- does anybody know if they accept bulk furniture? I have a Twin over Full Loft/Bunk Beds w alot of Storage on the side Including each step going up the bunk bed. I havent had any luck selling it. So i was wondering if they would take it?

This used to be my favorite thrift store, because I like that the store help women and children thats in a domestic violence situation. The prices in the store is ridiculously high (a little laundry basket, they wants almost full price). Might as well go and get new one. PRICES ARE JUST RIDICULOUS. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I rate this store a 1. Employees are nice & friendly but store manager, Julian, is rude & nasty. I witnessed her talking down to 1 of her employees which was not nice, in front of customers. I asked another employee who she was & why she was acting like this...I was told she was the store manager & does not like employees interacting w/ customers. All employees I see there are Hispanic & African-American. Julian is Caucasian. I shop there frequently. Whenever she is there, which she rarely is, I witness her being nasty. I will no longer shop at this Thrift store because of store manager, Julian. I know she is fairly new because I go to store 4 to 5 times a wk since 2018 but today was last day due to Julians behavior.

They say they help families in need but theyre very sneaky on the color tag sale .99c lolYou can never find any item with the sale color, if you do its most likely stained or ripped and then they double down on the same sale lol, 2 color tags for .99c, youll find a few of one color (not good items) and never never any of the other color not a single one and believe me I have looked all racksWhy would you do that ? 2 colors on sale only one available.... sneaky, makes me doubt about them really helping families in needWhy dont you get rid of the stuff, the more you sell the more you help families in need and us families on a tight budget.Update October 2020Same Overpriced stuff! This place sells well worked clothing at prices like its brand new. Once I saw this I never went back, I mean how can you call yourself a thrift store if the clothes are being sold at a decent price. Ive seen jeans up to 40 dollars and the cheapest 15 dollars.

Prices kind of high. Mens section sparse. Mostly caters to womens clothing, shoes and purses. Some delapidated furniture pieces. Hiring.

Poor work ethic!! Was there on July 24 2020 and about 7:25 pm two employees blasting out another senior citizen employee to where customers could hear it, because he was late from his break. To me that is very un profesional. This is not the first time I experienced that . If your going to get on an employee please do in an office or somewhere else but not in front of your customers, and by the way treating a poor man like that is very rude and disrespectful.

Nice people however I’m a little confused by their pricing. I found 2 pairs of American Eagle jeans for 4.99 and a third pair which didn’t have a price. So I asked at the checkout and they said 9.99 and then I noticed a stain and asked if they could do any better considering the stain and the fact that the other pairs were half of that price quote. They went and asked the manager and then came back and said $14.99!!!! Uh no thanks. They were literally the same size and similar style as the other pairs.

Texas Thrift is the best ever! Sometimes the employees offer to help without even being asked. The store is always very clean and organized. The selection and prices are wonderful and the weekly coupons make things even better!

This place is very well organized and the staffs are very helpful. They often have 50% off EVERYTHING on holidays like Fathers Day, Easter, etc. which is beyond amazing. You can find branded things here for a very low price so I would highly recommend this place. Hand down my favorite thrift shop in DFW area.

Prices are too high. $5.98 for a stained up t-shirt originally from Walmart! $9.98 for a no name purse! Didnt buy anything!

This thrift store has a Great variety of items from clothes to household items. Stopped in for the need of a Vacuum Cleaner, walked out with some great deals on work clothes that made me not want to visit Ross Dress For Less again. The area is a bit run down, but the value for your dollar makes it an ideal spot to stop and save. If your looking for a quick in and out, this is not it. You find yourself browsing the isles for bargains that are too good to pass up..

Usually the store is great but it was so hot inside that it made it miserable we left without buying anything 😏😒

Love the Easter egg hunting on Mondays for .99 cent tags and half or tags. Hate the holiday Monday 50% targets off. The elder Male whom O enjoy speaking Espanol with is always smile and collecting items from the vehicles at dro off. For years Ive known him. Im just so terrible with names. He is wonderful and deserves a 5 dollar raise. I will be glad to pick him out next time I come to the store. We moved far away. I dont get to come often as I would like. The older lady retired. First time shopping there and although they have some good finds I will never be coming back. I was given horrible customer service by cashier named Frankie who did not even acknowledge my greeting and looked unhappy to be there doing his job. Don’t forget that the customer pays your bills.

They changed their layout of the store. I liked it before, I had everything down. Now Im zigzagging through out the lanes. Usually I have found a lot of clothing before but now I just walk out with one or two items. The racks seem emptier I hope its to make more room for more clothes....

I really like this place. Its a hit or miss type of place depending on what youre looking for. But usually when that hit finally comes you get great stuff! The staff is really friendly. I would recommend going on a weekday in the afternoon if youre off. It can get crowded. Sometimes there can be a lot of kids running around but staff tries there best to make announcements about it.

Refused to let my 8 year old daughter use the restroom because some customers in the past have left it a mess. If I have to leave in the middle of trying on clothes to find a bathroom, Im not coming back to continue shopping. I left a full cart of clothes we were intending on buying right there and walked out. There are plenty of other places with great prices on used clothes. The Salvation Army in Garland is always great prices, good selection and friendly.

It was alright. All the clothes are nice. The toys were, meh, half of them doesnt even work. The floor is a big drawback to me. Electronics are pretty old, but what do you expect from a thrift store? Overall, this place is good by thrift store standards.

By far, one of the best thrift stores in the area. Its very organized, and I often find great mens clothes there. They frequently have 50% off days.

First, The doors were locked before the stores closing hours. Second, the employees were VERY rude during our last minute shopping. While checking out the cashier told us the reason why the doors were locked because, THEY HAD STUFF TO DO! We ask to speak to the manager he said the manager wasnt in. So we asked for the mangers informationHe refused to give it to us. I was shocked from his answer, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!Managment should definitely retrain and work on their employees customers service. That cashier was EXTREMELY unprofessional! Which is a reflection on management and the company.
