This place deserves zero stars for having no interest in customer service. I do not understand why the employees have to be so rude and negative. The only thing they care about is seeing your money in their cash register. What is sad is that I actually enjoyed their food. They even have a nice deal where if you buy five sandwiches (bánh mìs), the sixth one is free. Too bad I, and likely others, will not be returning. After all, it is better to support those who actually care about your patronage.
Their sandwiches are decent. Ba Le was around long before any of the other banh mi places opened up. I actually prefer the banh mi thit nguoi here over the thit nguoi at Quoc Bao. The meats are just more flavorful and tasty. Whenever I go here, I opt for a banh mi thit nguoi with a small nuoc mia.Ba Le has THE BEST nuoc mia (sugarcane drink). I have yet to find a place in the DFW area with better nuoc mia than Ba Le. If only there wasnt so much ice in the cup.Their cha lua (vietnamese ham) is pretty good too. It makes for pretty good sandwich meat. They are the OG banh mi and cha lua makers in Garland. Theyre no longer our favorite cha lua place but they are good at what they do.WARNING: CASH ONLY!
They serve the food was expired. Banh gio, banh bao, cha is sour and nasty.I can’t believe they served the food already expired. They said their employees didn’t check last night. They didn’t care for any customer health. It had no product name or expiration date on any food. I don’t know how come they pass health inspection. Service is so bad. Owner is so rude.No wonder why don’t see any customer in the restaurant, and a lot of 1* reviews. I wish I can left 0* review.Better closed this restaurant. Don’t recommend for Vietnamese in or out Dallas.
Very good customer service and great delicious food 😋
Good quality bread and a little of expensive than usual but it still a good product as a traditional banh mi. The bread are super crunchy. Dont even judge with those 1 star review because of little expensive. Its all worth when you have good meal even it is a little expensive than usual.
New experience. That was amazing. Banh Mi Viet Nam has just become my favourite breakfast. Generally, i think people will like it, either Vietnamese or foreigner.
One of my fav Banh Mi place in the city, various choices of flavour and bread is so crunchy and tasty! reasonable price, good service
This store is a joke, they jack up the price and the owners is extremely rude and talking condescending to a paying customer, charge $10.00 for a few frozen pork meatballs, and they dont honor the price that they posted in front of the meat roll case and didnt give a receipt I dont know how they continue business which this bad attitude, Ill never set foot on that place. Stay away from this bus. go some where else.
Hmmm it is ok. Not my favorite.
Great people and great quality. Love you all!
If only I could give this a zero star I would. Owners are extremely rude and has no manners to customers. That is not how you treat freaking customers! Food are expensive not even good at all. Tried to buy Cha Lua but it was expired. So many expired food that we came across this bakery. We gave this so many chances, but it’s just not good at all. Overpriced. PLEASE AVOID THIS BAKERY.
Great banh mi to take on the go! Judy, one of the owners, provided incredible customer service as well. They even let me try a couple of their tapioca candies! I’ll be sure to come by more often.
$5 per Banh mi is pretty steep
They use frozen breads and reheated them which made it so tough, and the most rediculous was the server at the counter. Speaking very impolite such as a no education person, and he also talked badly about the next door Đoàn restaurant . Never come again or suggest any one could come!!!!
Owner is so Rude!!! Don’t even bother trying. So many other good Vietnamese bakery to try : leeSandwich, quoc bao bakery.
The banh mi here is alright but overall SO expensive I only bought about 3 banh mis and a few side dishes (no cha lua) and my total came out to be like $50 its just way too much to be spending at a banh mi shop lol
I literally threw up from the purple rice (soy) that I bought here from the spoiled coconut that topped it. It was a drive to get it and I tried eating at home. Not sure if Ill be coming here again. The Vietnamese meat loafs were good but super expensive and I dont think its really worth the price anymore.
I am Vietnamese and Im not even lying, I drive over 4 hours to load up on sandwiches from this shop. They are amazing
Sandwiches are terrible! The bread was so hard it ripped the roof my mouth. I swear I can use the Banh me as a hammer!
Anger issues...they were rude and disrespectful! My elderly mother called out the man behind the counter for having an attitude and he called her sick and told her to stay home. Then he proceeded to say something over the intercom system after we had already walked outside.
HORRIBLE service! The people who work there including the owner are RUDE! I called today and asked if they have “gio song” and the woman replies “chua”. That’s the SAME answer I have gotten 3 times in the last 3 months. So, I finally asked when they would have it? She said she hasn’t had it for the last 2 years because she’s not done with it yet and hangs up on me! OMG....who treats their customers like that? For better cha and service use Duc Huong ( next to Hiep Thai on Walnut). For MUCH better banh mi and service use Quoc Bao in the same plaza.
I am always up to try and Vietnamese food. This Bakery was pretty good and West new didnt know what to expect but it was pretty good.
I’m a sandwich person, but when i came here to try their sandwiches. The sandwich wasn’t good like i heard before i came here, and their altitude aren’t good too.
I came by to buy some banh mi. The lady was so rude and yelled at me so loud as if I am a begger. I never come back ever again. Very bad customer service. No wonder her business is going downhill.
Is used to be so good not anymore the meat is very bland no flavor at all.
Very good banh mi and sugarcane juice but pricey, banh mi is $4 and small sugar cane drink is $4 ( size: 1-2 inch bigger in length than a normal sized red solo cup) and the big sugar cane drink is $8 ( sized twice that of the small sugar cane drink)
Craving some Banh Mi? Now you know where locals get their fix. Enjoy!
Bale bánh mì is every good... I am from Arkansas. Anytime I go to Dallas Tx I have to stop by Bale sandwich to buy 50 banh mi to bring back for myself and my friends here too... and Giò Sống is very good too...the 2 big things to buy when I stop by Bale in Garland is Bánh mì and Giò Sống... the owner are very nice... she even gave me free food so I can eat while driving back to Arkansas.
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE experience. Worst sandwiches ever and horrible customer service. They were disrespectful and rude. I wanted to give 0 stars, they dont even deserve 1.
Very very good
Walked in, three workers in the back didnt want to come to the front to sell me anything. Walked out.... Garbage
Owner very rude. He throws the food on the counter
Friendly services
Its very very bad service.
Good food
Sugarcane juice is really good !!!
Bad service!
The best Cheo Oac, Cha lua & Sandwiches
Expensive and bad quality. If you are thinking about it, DON’T. Do yourself a favor and walk away. Banh mi was like 3 days old.You will regret eating this place because the bread is old and tough, and you can sell it to customers. If the business fails to do so, the customers will also leave it by themselves.
Meat bread is chewy, bad, and impolite, but more expensive than others. Buy once disgusting.Never try this store. Bad quality and bad service!
Horrible horrible service, very rude, BS talk, treating customer like a begger, the husband throws food on the counter as he sickens with his job, sandwich was not fresh, terrible experience, no more nexts time, place is dirty. I would give a 0 star if there is oneDo not go to this Ba Le bakery, buy bread is not fresh, Guest treatment Not good, cost more than other places, buy this time is never again
Very good cakes
