This company has a disconnect in procedure/policy between their national and local branch that ended up making my weekend a nightmare in moving a playhouse. The National branch had specifically told me to PAY ON RETURN. I had a family member sent to the Garland branch to pick up the flat bed trailer due to time constraints with my work. My family member was then told that he could not take the trailer without paying first. He did not have the funds at the time which led me to go with U-Haul. Thank God with U-Haul I was able to be flexible on picking up equipment after hours as well as making a payment online. United Rentals is NOT a convenient company to do business with.
