I’ve been using TSP for parts since 2013 and they have been great! There in-house product’s are top notch and beat most other companies prices. Customer service has always been helpful and the products get to my door step quick.

Ever since I purchased my first LS car a couple years ago, I immediately knew I wanted TSP performance. My 1st purchases were their 1 3/4 headers paired with the TSP True Dual (Over Axle) exhaust system. A couple months later, I purchased a cam kit from them! Exhaust sounds fantastic, 10/10 and paired with that MS3 makes it a 12/10. Very pleased with Texas Speed…. 4 stars because I didn’t get stickers with my last purchase🙃

Good luck ordering a out date cam from these guys! No worries they will cut you a new one for double the price. Won’t be back to buy parts from them! Cam is listed at 275 dollars on their website. Because they have too cut it in a three bolt they double the price when it clearly says they offer it both ways in their description! Also three sets of headers ordered in the past fit like garbage best of luck anyone in the market looking at their products!

I have always had good experiences @ TSP. I dont have the money that I used to since I retired from the IT World, but I still enjoy keeping my Camaro (Street) going and building a few engines for the local racers. There are a lot of places trying to sell parts, and I am always trying to save a few dollars.TSP always has Good parts and great prices. Got a great price today on the Callies Compstar crank that I needed. Thanks for making things easy for me. I will be back!

When I got my long tube headers 6 months after purchase due to backorders it came with a few holes in the welds of the header. It was disappointing due to the fact I had my car torn apart to find the hole and to send it back was another issue. When I sent it back dealing with John Janz and his smart comments back to me after I already had issues with the parts was disappointing as well. After The great help from DNette Stroud I got my header back and installed it with no holes in the welds. I would check all parts for small issues before install. Some may be to small to see by eye. Parts from here are great but customer service will need work.

I always enjoy getting on Texas Speed and Performance website. I log-in and all my stuff is right there saved. My most recent purchase was a camshaft kit for my L94 six point two liter. Its the stage two truck cam and will be going in my third gen Tahoe. I also purchased the AFM/DOD delete kit and long tube headers. Every kit they sell that I check out has all the options you need to get it done properly. You just pick the option you want from that category. Its really simple and easy to navigate. When I have spoken with tech and salesman both were very knowledgeable about motors and the parts they are selling. I was going to make the mistake of choosing to large of a camshaft. After describing the set-up in my lifted Tahoe he explained how I would benefit more from a cam designed to have more low-end power to get my thirty fives turning. Sometimes you might have to wait twenty minutes to get through because of the amount of business that they are doing. All the parts I have purchased have been of exceptional quality. The TSP long tube headers for the GM SUVs fit better than any other header that I have installed on any other vehicle I have owned. Everything lined up really well the way its supposed to. I feel confident that I am always receiving a quality part and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to upgrade their drivetrain

Got my Long tubes in today for my 2000 firebird. Everything seems to be there but no stickers whats up with that? Shipment arrived faster than expected. I know its petty but only complaint is no stickers.

If I could rate zero stars, I would. Had them build me a sleeved 416 for my (stock blower) CTS-V…. Worst experience I’ve ever dealt with. Had them use their brand crank. Put the motor in the car and in less then 400 miles it broke the crank. Crazy enough, I was logging the card while it happened, they didn’t even csre to see the logs. It’s not even the broken crank that bothers me at this point, it’s how they handled it. All they wanted to do was fight why it happened. They refused to do ANYTHING about it. I get the “no warranty” garbage but at some point you’d think they would Atleast stand behind the junk they put their name on. They cared more about selling me a new motor (full price plus charging for tear down and shipping back of my new found boat anchor). Unbelievable.

I spent months researching and researching to find the right cam pkg for my Silverado. When I called Tsp to ask some more questions for research. I spoke with Kyle. Right away I felt like I was with a buddy talking about performance. With the amount of research I had already done. I knew I wasn’t dealing with a stage 2 is the best cam for you guy. After talking to Kyle and hearing some much needed options. I was able to pull the trigger and purchase everything I needed for my build. I worked with Avery to get the right things I needed. He gave me some sound advice and gave me a nice little something for being a veteran. Their shop isn’t far from me so I picked up my parts. For those do it yourself garage warriors that have never done an install like this, the camshaft and valve springs ended up being cake. Lining up the timing ended up being the most time consuming. Good old American made products and even better so cause it’s Texas. Everything with their name on it was made right here in Georgetown so it don’t get any more American than that.

Well for starters they do not communicate well with their customers! They might be great at what they do but their customer service sucks! They didn’t make any effort during their transition to expedite our service requested on my heads. I sent my heads in on 9/25 and 5 weeks later Ive had limited information on the progress of the work and cant even give me any information because I domt have an order number? They cant find it by name or telephone number? So only my mechanic could calll and he cant get any answers either! What type of system is that? Then I tried getting a hold of Avery and they didn’t have a way to contact him unless he was in the building?? What! 🤷🏼‍♂️ I cant speak for their work since I haven’t received my heads back but theor communication and customer service really sucks. Oh and sometimes they dont even answer the phone and u gotta keep calling! 🤦🏻‍♂️Very disappointed with my experience so far! Wont be doing business with them again! Going to vegeance Racing instead!

Still waiting on a tune for the 700hp turn-key engine package I purchased. I have the Terminator X module, but only the generic tunes from Holley are on it. I never received the custom Texas Speed tune for my specific engine.Update: 5/12/2021Never resolved, no follow up phone call from management.All I wanted was a tuned ECM for the turn key engine package I purchased. If I were to purchase this same engine today I would get one, read this snippet from TSPs website.All of the TSP turn-key engine packages will include a custom-built engine harness and a GM ECM to allow for full engine control and the best driving characteristics possible.I was given a box with a Terminator X ECM module with a generic tune and harness, not quite a custom built set-up. As TSP would know it is quite hard for a Terminator X to self tune an engine with a radical stage 4 LS7 cam and around 30 degrees of overlap. I would recommend TSP send extra spark plugs in addition to the break-in oil for future turn key engine packages as well. They also added an upgraded breather and catch can to the engine package a few months after I purchased it, I wonder why? 🤷‍♂️. Also depending on which salesman you talk to, TSP may or may not deliver turn key engine packages with a Terminator X.I also want to draw attention to TSPs warranty, which states,All Texas Speed & Performance turn-key engine packages will come standard with a one-year, unlimited-mile warranty as standard!  This will require all tuning to be performed by us.When I offered to tow the car out to Texas to have them tune it for me, I was told they dont tune cars per se, but they did recommend to contact mail order tuner (which I did, also went nowhere) who can remote tune it for me. I have also found out that most professional tuners in my area as well as mail order tuner mostly use HPtuners in conjunction with a GM ECM, too bad I have a Holley! 🤬🤬🤬I was lucky enough to experience some semblence of a warranty and outstanding customer service though, I unfortunately received an engine with a crack on the starter ear. TSP took the engine back and re-blocked it for me after I found the crack and brought it to their attention, they admitted later that a couple of blocks were received from GM this way. Who knows if it got a set of fresh headgaskets and seals after the swap out, I can only wonder. Hopefully this cracked block was disposed of and not re-sold to another paying customer, I attached a couple photos of the block number for reference.Much love 😘,John TerBeekP.S.No hard feelings towards Holley products.

While I fully understand the events of the world that is the current market, I’ve had a cam on order for almost two months. I was told it is almost done and would be shipped soon, three weeks later, nothing. I made another order that was described as “in stock” on their website. Received an email about it and apparently it’s “not” in stock. Once I get my orders I won’t likely order from them again. I’ll stick with the tried and true Summit and Jegs.

Bought a set of the Hellcat 2 long tubes a few months back. Went to install them and one of the welds for the primaries washed out the mounting flange which in turn would have caused them to leak. Didnt make a big fuss over it, but I called to get some stickers since my $1,200 long tubes didnt come with any and I wanted to represent for the company that I bought them from... Its been over a month since I made that call and still havent received anything. Kind of regretting my purchase as I was hoping a company from my home state would provide better business than this. Added a spot weld so the LTs wouldnt leak and went about my business, still no stickers but whatever.

Only gripe I have is I asked for a veteran discount (usually 10% from the cost of the product) and the only thing I received was free shipping on a product that cost me $2600 and shipping is $45. Have filed a complaint with FedEx only to be notified the shipper (Texas Speed and Performance) must file the complaint. Company says they wont ship out replacement until FedEx refunds the money. Does this just sit in purgatory forever?? Tired of waiting. Product purchased from elsewhere and I WANT A REFUND. Filing complaint with BBB. Bad customer service. Insanely long wait time for parts just to find out they shipped the wrong parts and won’t return any calls on their customer service line. I really like the Idea of this company and its location with the hopes of driving down to pick up parts if I ever needed them. But I have to say that yall either need more people tending the emails for technical support or customer service needs to be looked at. Ill admit that Im not always the most decisive person and flip flop ideas all the time but when I am asking specific questions about parts from your website with cash in hand I still get no replies which is a problem. I waited 4 days for a reply this time and the 2 times before that I never heard back, so I didnt hold my breath and lost patience. I am only giving a 2 star rating because at least you guys are professional in emails and WHEN you do reply its usually with solid advise. But you lost my business. Hopefully sometime in the future you guys get this sorted out.

I have purchased a few things from Texas Speed over the years and they seem to be as good as anybody however I recently had an issue with a cylinder head I bought and they were quick to make it right. I had a PRC cathedral port head I had purchased that had a casting flaw which allowed coolant to leak through the top of the head. This was very frustrating to find but I understand that these things happen and after reaching out to Texas Speed, Brittany Adams was quick to assist in resolving my issue. I sent them back my defective head and they promptly shipped me a replacement.I feel like their customer service is great!

I didnt want to be the one to have to write a bad review about the place that Cleetus McFarland praises on all his videos.. but this is the experience Ive had..Let me start with a little background info.. I have a 2007 Monte carlo SS with the LS4 engine, one that texas speed doesnt directly sell engine builds for. However, in the ls4 community page on Facebook, there is a guy going by the name John Smith whos real name is John Ginter claiming that he wants to help us out and build engines on the side. Ive verified with texas speed that he does indeed work for them so I asked him to build me the engine. Well, 8K later along with some fake tracking numbers and I dont have my engine or my money refunded.Ive talked to 2 or 3 different managers from Texas Speed, one even saying that they dont want this guy to work for them any longer. They all said theyd return my call, but never did. While I completely understand that I havent ordered directly from your site, taking some responsibility for your employees actions would be completely warranted.. especially considering they are selling parts on your behalf and using your equipment.

Terrible experience with Texas speed and performance spent nearly $1500 on a hemi stage 3 camshaft and lifter package to have nothing but failure. Catastrophic lifter failure causing a camshaft and camshaft bearing to be worn unevenly. I have been in contact with Texas speeds customer support team for over a year now with proof of failure via image and video to get nothing but poor results. So now I’m out the $1500 I spent on Texas speed parts as well as having to spend $6000 for a new motor.Order number: 384691

Quality products as everyone notes but their estimates on shipping or in stock are all non-sense. Original 5-7 weeks on parts took a total of 4 months and a few days. After each call to them, we would get another random estimate of time. This happened 4-5x times. They cannot properly estimate shipping or getting parts. I realize some of this is not on them and is on the suppliers but the continuous lies and guessing on shipping is enough for me to never purchase again from or through them.

I wish I could leave a higher rating than this, but their customer support and ordering system is a disaster. I ordered a Romac underdrive crank pulley and belts for my sons 09 G8. First problem was it came with no belts. Honest mistake, no harm no foul. When time came to install it, we removed the old pulley and installed the new one. No issues. However the belts were all wrong. I called tech support and the guy I spoke with was unsure of which belts I needed. He stated he would call back the next day. Good thing I didnt hold my breath, still waiting for that call, 2 months later. Meanwhile, the car is throwing the a/c belt off. I keep guessing at a length, I guess to no avail. Last time it came off it took the water pump belt with it. And damaged the pulley. I emailed them yesterday, and surprise! No reply. Sad. Id recommend taking your business elsewhere. Edit, I knew they would reply with the we cant find your order number bs. Heres a screenshot of my email conversation with them along with my order number. I wish i could do 2 separate reviews but i cant. I would like to say the products tsp makes are great but the customer service is not. I bought quite a few things from tsp all of them good except for a tourqe converter that did not fit my car. The shop attempted to install it and it wouldnt go in tsp told me to bring it back and just told me it looks like its been ran sorry we cant do anything. The sales man who said it looked like it had been ran was jason. The conveter had not been ran the shop who attemted to install it even called tsp. But now i have an $800 paper weight.

The gen 3 hemi products are very good quality. I waited a long time for them to arrive 5 weeks. They offer no support when it comes to tuning. I called the tec support line the guy I talked to sounded like he got his technical knowledge from watching a fast and furious movie.

Ordered a set of PRC 2.5 5.3L CNC heads, 58CC outright (no core). After a week with no shipping update, I emailed and asked where the order was. I was then notified that heads will not ship for 3-4 weeks, despite this not being listed anywhere on the sales page for these cylinder heads. Hell, I considered sending in my Escalade heads to be ported and on that page it at least tells you there is a 2 week turnaround, still 2 weeks less than when there is no exchange? When I asked why this wasnt posted on the page, I was ignored, no email reply. Its Friday, Sunday will be 4 weeks, and I still have had no update. I would have cancelled my order and ordered from somewhere in stock if they had been honest on their sales page, the fact that my emails were ignored will stop me from purchasing from them again.*Editing for clarification. TSPs reply is missing one main thing, there is no reason that this wait time should not be listed on the sales page for the item. If they know its going to take 2 weeks to build a set of cores that they already have, it should be on the page. Ive sent two emails that were unreplied to, yet they have time to reply to a google review that everyone else sees.

Just recently ordered a complete forged rotating assembly from TSP that I have been saving for over a year for, cant verify quality until I receive it but Im sure its excellent as I also have their MS4 camshaft kit and you couldnt ask for better. Had some questions when placing orders and all questions were thoroughly answered. Very knowledgeable staff! If I were gonna have any complaint at all(I dont), it would have to be the wait time(10-12wks) on my rotating assembly. After saving for it for over a year, Im definitely anxious to receive my order, but I can imagine how busy they must be. Maybe even short-staffed considering order volumes and wait times.. Im certain itll be worth the wait!P.S.TSP, are you hiring? 😁🧰👨🏻‍🔧

This place is an absolute joke of a company. We had an issue with the front cover gasket that we received as it was slightly mangled and leaked upon installation. Contacted Texas speed and was told that a new one would be overnighted to us. Three and a half days later we received the seal and it was shoved into a cardboard tube, no packaging other than that. Removed it from the tube and there are atleast six different shoe prints visible on the gasket. Way to go guys. Will be going to the local dealership to get a gasket.

World class customer service and products, I have only had positive experiences with their support and products. Very knowledgeable and would not go anywhere else for my ls/lt high performance needs. The fact that they have their own manufacturing in house is what attracted me to their products. With this being the case we know that the quality level of their products can only be at the top. Look forward to continuing to build my relationship with Texas Speed and Performance.

I spoke with Derek about what heads I should use for my build turbo 370 build, he was extremely helpful. He didn’t rush me and explained the benefits of going with prc 225 heads over cnc ported 317 heads by them. I can’t wait to see how these heads preform, I’ve used their heads in the past and gained 25rwhp from just the heads on my 5.3.

Terrible company. This is the second time I have ordered something that show In Stock on the website and then been told 4 weeks before I will receive it. So pretty much FALSE advertising and love to take your money then say Oh Sorry that item is not in stock. I will DEFINITELY shop elsewhere from now on. Thanks for taking my money and making me wait for who knows how long to receive my product.

We can take your money, but we cant give you our parts or ship them. Lol. 🗑
