They got me in and out pretty quickly compared to the rest of town needing 2 hours. Their synthetic oil is also a pretty affordable option compared to other oil changes.

Had four tires put on my sons car. Got a great price but much lower than Discount tire to my surprise for the same tire. Total was $200 less. My sons key fob did not have a good battery in it and they took the initiative to replace it for me. I thought that was great! Super friendly staff at the Georgetown office. Great job.

They put oil filter in crocked . All of oil leaked out. Now engine is knocking really bad. Mgr. Was defensive and argumentative. We got them to replace oil and filter but not sure how they are ultimately rectify the situation.

Friendly service but food was average at best

I took my car here to get my new tires mounted and balanced, it took 3 hours for them to do it and when I got my back car all the rims were damaged so talked to one of the managers they said they couldnt do anything about then they said I need to come back the next day to talk to the head TLE manager. Dont waste your time here go somewhere else.

Bought a new car battery at the Auto Express section in the back, had a great experience! There was an older Hispanic lady that helped us out with testing the old battery to helping us find the new one- she really took care of us!! I love folks like this, that go beyond you typical customer service smile and go the extra mile to help and make a person feel warm and cared-for! This is not our local Walmart, but the way this employee made us feel, my son and I will gladly return! I just wish I knew here name and tell her a big THANK YOU!

Messed up my oil change, engine light came on 3 days after leaving here.

Their tech told me they could repair my tire, but after a 2.5 hour wait of roaming around Wal-Mart they say they cant handle 20 tires. Apparently they dont have the equipment to handle a tire that big. Find somewhere else.

They are just a different kind of pleasant back there in this locations Auto Center. Helpful and friendly! ☺️

Visited the Georgetown auto care center for a oil and filter change on 1/10/20 early morning. I was told that it was going to be at least a two hour wait as they were understaffed! There was only one person working the lube station. As the employee was explaining this to me, I noticed the service tech. joking and goofing off with fellow workers! I left and will not be back!

Walmart is not the best for auto repair

I pulled up to the back car service area, no one in front of me, waited for 35min. Not a soul came out to grab my keys, tell me to pull in the second bay which was empty, or tell me to just park. No signs telling me to park. So I waited and waited, not the first time, this unorganized department loves to waste their clients time. The last time I took it here, they took 40 min just to ring me up. Very unprofessional, sloppy, and inconsistent with their process. Never again, and Ill spread the word.

Good location drove all the way there to get my tires fixed because the guy in the Walmart inmy town said there was nothing wrong with them. They are very popular you need to get there early. The grocery sectionisthe best that I have ever seen if you are health oriented... Many prices less than amazon.

An excersise in patience. Truck battery under warranty. I told them it was bad. They tested it and OMG! It was severely discharged...run down. I said Yes... I have jumped my truck twice and let it run but the next morning it was dead again. I checked it for amp draw which was negligible with key off. They said they needed to charge it to see. After charging it was still losing its charge on test... Ummm yes...? We need to charge it again to see. Ok... Well Sir its STILL discharging on test. I know that. REPLACE IT!!! Finally gave up and went to see Auto Manager. He apologized and replaced it.

I mainly come here for oil changes and certain sales, but the automotive section is much slower than other Walmarts so do not expect a quick turn around. I do love the new buy online for store pick up here at this location though. This Walmart is in my city so I do find myself often.

Got an oil change, tires and bulb changed. Noticed oil spots on my garage floor. Took my vehicle up there for them to view it. They said its not leaking oil. I took the vehicle to Sun Auto who called to ask me if I recently had the oil changed. The vehicle had been over filled with oil. Cost me 500.00 to repair. Filed a claim with Walmart who denied the claim saying the video said they did it correctly. Melba first said your vehicle is tan which it is not! They refuse to let you see the video saying it is property of Walmart. The other denial basis was that they did not know who else worked on the car. I know! Why would I get another oil change in a weeks time!

Do not waste your time here. Absolutely worst customer service ever. I waited 20 mins for someone to come help. The guy shrugged his shoulders and told me to park. Almost two hours my car hadn’t been moved for a simple tire plug. I could plug my own tire but I bought a warranty. Other Walmart’s are fine but not this one. Not enough employees and the ones they have move slow or not doing anything. There was only two younger guys actually doing all the hard work with a lot of unhappy people waiting. Poorly managed place.

Two hour wait for their express oil change, but was told it would only be about an hour. Was told it would be 5-6 hours to have our tired balanced and rotated. Decided to pass on the tire rotation this time, since a 6 hour wait with 2 kids under 5 isnt really feasible.

Went there as soon as they opened today so I can drop my car off to get some new tires that I brought in mounted and balanced and then went to my meeting I had for work then 2 or 3 hours later I came back just so they can tell me they cant change my tires because my rears are gonna be wider than my front and that they HAVE to be the same size. So I called Discount Tire which is right down the road to see if they can change my tires out and if it would be a problem if my rears are gonna be wider than my front. They said NO ITS A NOT A PROBLEM as long as its not TO wide so I brung it up there to see and now Im waiting to get my tires changed without a problem and just for $6 or $7 more expensive than Walmart which isnt that bad at all just $60 for a mount and balance if you bring your own tires in at Discount Tire. So moral of the story is go to Discount Tire not Walmart if you need a tire change.

I had a battery problem and these guys went above and beyond to take care of my issue. Even going out to front parking lot to jumpstart my car and then analizing my battery and pinpointing and fixing the problem. All while very busy and absolutely as polite as could be. Thanks guys.

Called service center and no one picked up.the opperater transfered me back finally I got a pick up but was put on hold 15 minutes later as I drove into the parking lot they answered the phone. When I asked for an esstamted price on an oil change the lady asked what oil I used I said I dont know what ever the dealship puts in . she said sorry but I cant tell you how much without knowing what type of oul. To make a long story short the the man in service dep walked up about that time. We asked him and he pointed to the signs in the lane . starrting prices 19.99 and up to 44.00 when asked if they could change or add fluids for tranni and brakes we wete informed they werrnt allowed to touch them due to them being new canisters. So only the oil and wiper fluid could acually2 be changed.

Waited 2 hours for a tire rotation for them to say sorry your tires are balled. We cant rotate them, wanna buy new ones? Def wont come here again.

Waited In a long line to get my tire repaired. They only had one cashier. Once I got to the register, I was told to ask the man in the shop to write up my tire repair. I asked him, and he said it would be a 2 hour wait because he as the only one there due to the other techs being on lunch at the sametime. Unorganized chaos.

I went in to walmart auto to change out my tire to pass inspection, one tire was balled so i brought my own incase none were available . I was told were not doing that work right now because of the work load, but well repair flats or an emergency.... Im just in aww by how ignorant that sounds....esp when theres 3 more hrs in the day... didnt even offer to schedual me.....Bad business

Was terrible. Waited on them for a couple hours just to patch a tire. The garage was empty and yet took for ever. Finally on the way out we hear another customer talking about they broke something on their car while working on it. Dont do it!

Very slow for one tire replacement shouldnt have took this long service was not even busy and pushed us behind everyone else( estimated time 2 hours still in counting worst service ever. Too much walking around and not enough working.

Had my EverStart battery checked here after getting a “bad battery” notice from the scan at AutoZone. The battery was barely 3 years old and my warranty covered 5 years. They told me all I needed to do was clean my battery with baking soda and take my car on the highway and rev the RPMs. I did that and asked them to re-test and they said my battery was fine. I went to work and after leaving the car off for about 3 hours, my battery was dead again. I took my car back at 7:30am the next morning and told the technician what happened. He was very rude and tested my battery again with the “charge required” notice coming up every time. Mind you my battery had already been charged 4 times in the last two weeks and had died on me a total of 5 times during that period requiring a jump. All the technician said he could do was charge my battery for me and that a warranty exchange was out of the question. When I told him I did not have time to charge it again and that it has not worked in the past and that I had to go to work in a few hours he said “Well it looks like you’re gonna be late then”. I stormed right in and talked to the manager who agreed to swap my battery for a pro-rated fee. But this process ended up taking 4 hours total. I was late for work. I could not believe it took 4 hours for a battery swap. I watched several people get there after me and leave before me. My pleas to the auto cashier to ask how much longer things were going to take were only met by more rude attitude remarks and after a while I was ignored and walked away from. I had to get a storemanager to get things going. Now, fast forward to the following morning after my new battery has been installed: I get in my car to head to work and my new battery is dead. I get a jump and head straight to AutoZone and sure enough it’s a bad battery. Codes come up that indicate a bad cell. I didn’t even hesitate, I bought a Duralast from them and they installed it in 15 mins and re-tested all my starting components certifying everything was ok. I used to come to Walmart Auto a lot for tires, oil changes etc. but I would always have to clear my schedule because they would take forever. After this battery fiasco I can assure you that I will NEVER let this place touch my car again. Go to AutoZone, buy a Duralast, let AutoZone get you in and out fast.

Arrived @ 230...barely 3 cars..and they finally pulled my suv in at 4.. Given no estimated time.

I have always had good service at the Walmart auto center at the Georgetown Walmart.

Got my oil changed yesterday. Used the oil I requested and even washed the windshield. Quick, courteous and the price was right.

Forgot to replace oil ruined my engine. Then denied all responsibility staff is incompetent.

Im going to give these peeps a 5 star round of applause. Brought my Cummins Dually in for an oil change on a Sunday 45min til closing time. They were more than willing to change it and didnt bark at my strict request for a certain oil and filter. It was changed in under 20min. Again i get my oil changed at walmarts across the country 1-2times a month. This is a first in customer service A++++

I was there for several normal maintenance issues. The whole staff was hustling. I was there longer than expected due to customers taking up everyones time complaining and wanting to be put to the head of the line ( one even claiming they had to be put first due to they needed surgery out if state tomorrow). Above all every employee was professional . Thank you Auto Center.
