My husband and I booked a site visit with Kim at the Kaminski House and immediately fell in love with the location...honestly I dont know who fell in love with it first. We completed the tour and Lan took me onto the lawn, twirled me around and said this is where I want to marry you.I have owned a wedding planning business in Charleston, SC for years and I immediately knew that I had found the location that I had to have for my wedding day.The property is gorgeous especially for a May wedding - I had to use it all and I did! The harbor walk area, the terrace, the front porch, the lawn - all were major key elements that made my wedding memorable.I had approximately 125 guests that fit nicely on the side terrace. Please know that I did not have any attendants except for my girls. Can you have more...yes but I wouldnt advise for more than 2 attendants on each side if you used my same setup.My husband and I visit Georgetown to enjoy Harbor Walk, but we always make a point to stop at the Kaminski House to relive the moment.

Loved the Jazz Brunch ( thankful for the tent to shield the wind:) Food was great!

Very beautiful place on the outside unfortunately I was unable to go inside due to corona virus but I would imagine it is just as beautiful and intriguing I will definitely come back to check it out when it reopens

Grounds are beautiful...but actual museum is closed to the public due to covid! It would have been lovely to visit...

Actually went there twice. Went back for the Christmas display. You really need the tour because it really isnt all that impressive on the inside.

Returned to where we said I do, for the first time since we were married August 21, 2017. The house was closed due to COVID-19. We walked the grounds, it looked very nice.

Kim at the Kaminski House Museum was so great to work with!! She was very responsive with any questions we had, and was willing to send pictures of things we had questions about since we were out of town. She was always flexible with meeting us to go over the grounds at the venue and made the process so easy! The Kaminski House Museum is so well taken care of and absolutely gorgeous! Our guests were so amazed of its views and how well kept the grounds were. Thank you for everything Kim, and thank you for helping make our day PERFECT!!!

Beautiful place to visit that remains open during the Pandemic visited here about 3weeks ago it was very nice. Great views pictures and history were gotten whilst here.

Georgetown i Love it

A very peaceful and attractive location, perfect for taking photos on special occasions or for having some quiet while passing by.Have had a photo shoot for pretty much every high school dance here, and never complained about the outcomes. Its a great place for making memories, as any local will tell you.

One of the highlights of my trip to Georgetown. The lady giving the tour was happy to share her vast knowledge. The gift shop has many beautiful things and avery helpful lady.

Looks awesome. We missed the tour by about 4 minutes. Enjoyed reading about it and walking around looking at it from the outside.

Very interesting place and our docent George did an outstanding job. All furnishings are original to Julia Kaminski. We really liked it.

Had a great time at the literacy festival! Good music & just an overall good family fun event!

The grounds were colorful with easter eggs in preparation for a major hunt. Beautiful little brick path along the waterfront.

This is a excellent museum. The museum is well done and has excellent docent.

If you love southern history and old houses this is the place to go. The Kaminski House is located in the city of Georgetown, SC. Georgetown is a historical city with little shops and restaurants. There is also a board walk along Winyah Bay. At the end of the board walk is the Kaminski House Museum. It is a must see

Fantastic private family collection. So often the estate gets dispersed, but in this case the house is kept as a time capsule of their lives.

Great Museum in Georgetown. Completely worth the trip,the guides are very knowledgeable and provide excellent information about the house and the history of the area.

A beautiful home with a long history firmly imbedded in the antebellum South.

The Kaminski House was interesting, if a bit over dressed with the period clothing on display. My gripe is that the price of the ticket was advertised to include this old house AND the Parker-Stuart House. However, that house was closed to the tours, so we did not see it. I felt a bit ripped off.

Georgetown Historic mansion of renowed craftsmanship of the Carolinas! Mansion goes thru times of renovations from multiple owners and expansions truly like a twilight zone !
