They are super generous with the ice cream. I love that you can create an ice cream sandwich however you want at no extra cost. So yummy and love bringing my kiddos.

The baked bear is a must stop to try out at least once. From cones to sundays the options are plentiful. My family and i got ice cream sandwiches and a baked bear brownie Sunday. Everything was fresh and tasted as expected. Next time ill probably get a cone as it will be easier to walk around the scenic Georgetown square. We also tried one of the butter cake cookies. It was warm and tasted like butter with icing on it. In a good way.

So adorbs!!! With all the shopping downtown, this place was a wonderful break in the day. They had plenty of seating, everything was super clean, and they have wipes and napkins on the tables. The scoops of ice cream were huge! I dont think Georgetown people appreciate this place as much as visitors from towns that dont have this nice of a stop. Seriously, amazingly clean!!!! The kids working were nice as well. The cookies were thick and soft. They had a Mexican chocolate one, a butter cookie and we got a snicker doodle. Im a frosting girl, but these were a sweet treat!

This store smells like fresh baked cookies, which is a great welcome. The young people working inside were very nice and ready to serve, and had suggestions when asked. Being a first-time customer, they were happy to explain about their ice cream sandwiches and waffle cones, and bowls, and how they prepare them. Definitely a generous portion, possibly homemade ice cream not sure, but very delicious. Grab napkins!Next time, were trying the brownies ❤️

My friends had the vegan ice-cream cookies which were not tasty at all. The ice-cream was soy based but tasted oily and pasty. I had the brownie which was thin and tasted worse than a brandless brownie mix. Sorry but not worth my time again.

We love this place!! We are locals, and weve been in several times - each visit is a great experience from start to finish. The staff are friendly, courteous and attentive to customers, the facility is super-clean and attractive, and the cookies & ice cream are always delicious! They even have gluten-free cookies & ice cream, as well as vegan ice cream thats pretty darn tasty. Baked Bear in Georgetown has become a favorite stopping place where we bring out-of-town visitors for dessert as well as a perfect spot to swing by on a random night when we just have a sweet craving. :)

Really good! Fun place for the kids to mix and match their own ice cream cookie. They even had a gluten free cookie for my wife! Only very small criticism would be a tad overly sweet. Otherwise fun and wonderful.

OMG. First you select two cookies (they can be different) for your ice cream sandwich, then your ice cream, and finally a topping. You can have it warmed or as is. Theyll cut it in two if you are sharing. So good. And the cookies and ice cream can be purchased separately. Almost forgot they have brownies too. Yum.

Fresh cookies for your own ice cream sandwiches. How can you go wrong with that? Gooey butter cookies are definitely the choice, especially with the blackberry swirl ice cream. But there are no poor choices.

Been there 3 separate times. I was there for the grand opening and the cookies were warm and tasted amazing! These past two times I’ve gone though, the cookies on my ice cream sandwich have been so cold, not even warmed up. I asked the worker if they could warm it up because my cookies were still cold and they said no and that “the warmth doesn’t last long.” What??? It sure was warm on the grand opening! I won’t be back.

This place is absolutely amazing. Cookies taste great and you can get a different cookie on each side of you ice cream sandwich. I got M&M to go with Funeti, then I got the bear batter ice cream which is blue with brown bites in it. I topped it off with fruity pebbles. The sandwich is huge and most people eat it with a spoon.

My neighbor told me about this I had a brownie ice cream sandwich. It was the best brownie Ive ever eaten. The ice cream was incredible too not too hard it was nice and soft. Its definitely a must do. 👍

Sooo good, big portions! I got one peanut butter chocolate chip cookie and one ooey gooey cake cookie with smores ice cream in between and nutella topping (which came inside.) Too big to eat with my face, so I ate it with a spoon.

What a treat to find this place during a recent day trip to Georgetown. Its right off town square in a convenient spot. I had an ice cream sandwich but not an ordinary one. For the outsides I chose a funfetti cookie and a brownie. For the middle I chose some kind of blue ice cream, sorry I forgot the name but its the bluest thing in there. They warmed it for a bit and it was great. Definitely consider a visit if youre in the area.

The Baked Bear was awesome for my son’s birthday! They contributed in a scavenger hunt and was the favorite stop hands down.Our clue was “although a predator, this place “bears” no resemblance to a scary place. Come in for a sweet treat!”

I was excited to visit Baked Bear because I have heard great things. Upon arrival the staff seemed bothered and troubled when my husband and I were trying to look over the menu. We felt rushed and as if we were a bother it made the overall experience uncomfortable. The cookies and ice cream were great, but with the lack of customer service I do not think we will return.

Where to begin, honestly this is my favorite restaurant in Georgetown. The bear batter is to die for. The richness of the cream used here made me forget about Braums. The texture is never gritty or too wet. The cookie selection is also the best in town. The restaurant is gorgeous, a modern take on an old-fashioned parlor. The decor is inspired, its like what magnolia wants to be. The staff are friendly and welcoming, especially the owner. He just might be my personal hero.

Ice cream was delicious but there was a ton of charges for everything (cone and charge for different ice cream scoop) and as a family of 4 it definitely added up. We got dozen cookies and by the time we got home cookies were hard as a rock and these cookies were not cheap. A cute little shop but I cant say I would go out of my way again to go here again.

If your looking for something different and also want a sugar high hahaha this is the place. No seriously the possibilities are endless on what you can create.

Loved the first time I went a few months ago! This time around the standard for the orders have dropped.. I ordered a cookie sandwich and they had asked me if I wanted the cookies warmed, I said yes. They were luke warm at best. I was really disappointed. Everything else was amazing!

Went to pick up cookies. Apparently if you don’t preorder you can do more than 12 cookies. The girl helping us was great but the guy following her wasn’t so good. But guess what guys, I spent over $200 at galaxy buying cookies. 2 doors down. Just skip baked bear and hit galaxy. In the real world money is money and cookies cooks in 10 minutes. Bye baked bear!

I love their cookies! Its a very small but neat restaurant that has delicious cookies, brownies, and icecream. I only wish the assorted pack was customizable, but I was told they couldnt do it. The customer service is nice and I watched them switch out gloves between each pan touch to make sure they werent touching different types of cookies with the same gloves. I love that, because I am allergic to nuts and watch like a hawk to make sure Im not accidentally sent to the ER.

I had a cup of ice cream with a smores cookie on the side. The cookie was so salty it was inedible, even for someone who uses too much salt. When I mentioned it to one of the staff she said they are dusted with salt. First, it was much more than dusted and second, why would that not be listed as salty smores? First and last visit.

It was just ok. Ice cream is way too dense and not creamy. Cookies were ok but super thin and not as good as other cookie shops. No kids serving options for the sandwiches. Service was good. Shop itself is basic, nothing unique. All said, I would not go back.

This was my third time visiting and was delicious just like the last two times. Staff friendly. Ice cream is yummy. Cookies and brownies are hot and fresh. This is the place my kids pick from now on when we want ice cream or cookies. Prices arent low but they arent to high. Its worth it and sandwiches are big enough to share with another person.

Great place to indulge in super-sugary homemade ice cream and cookie treats. But I personally try to avoid sugar whenever possible so its not a place I will frequently visit unless pressured by someone else 😉

I attempted to try this much anticipated dessert place while I had family in town, but was unfortunately presented with a worker that refused to serve me without presenting medical documentation providing proof of my disability. Under no circumstance have I ever been required to present my personal medical information to a kid behind the counter of an ice cream shop. I’m not one to make a scene and file a lawsuit for discrimination, so I’ll just bring my business elsewhere. I’m disappointed to say that I hope people are able to see my experience and choose to visit a different business that does not discriminate against or harass their customers.

The biggest, most amazing ice cream sandwiches youll ever have.

I didn’t take a photo—it was just too good. Plus there’s already plenty of photos online anyway. Look, it was 9:30 on Saturday night and I decided I wanted ice cream. The Baked Bear looked like just the place and apparently we weren’t the only ones in town with the desire for a bespoke ice cream sandwich because the appropriately masked and socially distanced line was well out the door. The line moves quick and we were walking the square eating our ridiculously delicious baked goods and ice cream.At this price it won’t be something I do regularly, but darned if you don’t end up satisfied.

Great cookies. So so ice cream. At $6 a pop youre better off buying your own cookies and ice cream of choice at HEB and making these yourself.

Never been here and never will patron here!! I am boycotting the baked bear due to management mistreatment towards a potential employee. A zoom meeting would be setup only to be ignored/forgotten by management. First occurence is understandable but multiple instances?? This is UNACCEPTABLE!!If this is how the frontline runs a business, it makes me leery on how they treat its customers?? I DO NOT want to do business with people that treat potential or current employees like this!!!!! They have left a bad taste in my mouth, no thank you!
