The member assisting me did NOT fully inform me about the product I was purchasing.

Its a good place but price is higher than I thought. Staff are friendly and always willing to help. The store seems well stocked and pretty clean. Just hoping they will have sale if we visit next time.

Seeing as though you get emails with your order info sent went you make an online purchase all of which is to be provided @ the time of pick-up solely used for ease of transaction & purchase/ownership verification. I find it really disturbing to have still been asked for Identification to prove myself. Especially considering the fact any other purchase I was never asked for one. The provided purchase proofs where sufficient. I felt wronged seeing how the white lady ahead of me wasnt asked to provide her ID.

This used to be my favorite Target location, but as of lately - the last year it has declined significantly. Short of staff is my common issue. Waiting for pick up in store, drive up or customer service is always long and 1 person. There is almost never any staff around to assist with customer service/order pickup. I have even called for 20 minutes straight before and not gotten a answer. You have to find someone to help you. Staff is always great when they are around and available. I hate to even write a poor review, but hopefully this will spark a change.

Elizabeth at the Germantown Target went out of her way to help me find dollar bins items for my daughter. She is wonderful. She knows a lot about the dollar bin items and is very helpful.

Theres still a discrepancy between the shelf price and the checkout price of Amys soup. (2.39 vs 2 79) Only got two cans of Lentil Vegetable because there were only 3 on the shelf and the third one was dented. Would have gotten more otherwise.The Sunbutter is on a top shelf where I cant reach it.I wonder how many sales stores miss out on due to the location of the merchandise. Any store, not just this one.

Great store, but review is for Starbucks. Good staff average selection of food. Drinks are same every where. Good place to grab a quick coffee.

I normally shop at the this target yet the sanitation in the women’s bathroom was extremely horrible. The sinks were clogged, the toilets were dirty, and the floor wasn’t even clean, My disappointment arises, as we are still dealing with COVID, and yet this stores up keep was extremely disturbing. Please have someone look into this and make sure that the sanitation doesn’t stop with the carts. Not to mention, I was waiting for my prescription in the store and my 5 year old spotted a mouse near the food area where the produce was. It completely ruined our experience. I do not suggest you go to this store until they fix this issue

After our recent visit, this Target location is one of the best Ive ever been to. Although they are currently undergoing renovations in the middle of the store making it unappealing in some areas, the products they have in stock and organization of a lot of their items exceeds any expectations. Their $1/$3/$5 section is well organized by category and season, nothing seemed out of place. Some of the unique brands I havent noticed in any Target, yet, is the Casper, which we found on display by the entrance, AND the Rustic Wood series of classic board games (perfect for game lovers who love to display their games without out it looking out of place in the home). Service is also fantastic! Theres always someone available to assist and you dont see anyone idling around. They have a Pizza Hut Express and Starbucks inside by the registers. The barista who took our order was wonderful--friendly, helpful, and down to earth. I think I will make this my go-to Target Target runs whenever were in the area. Highly recommend!

The cleanist Super Target Ive ever been in. This store reminds me of a stylish department store. The customer service is top notch. The layout is the best, and I never have trouble finding products.Theres a large self checkout section near the Starbucks for quick pay and go. I grade my experience on the ability to find products and no hassle for checkouts.

The store is so clean and they have a lot of products that I dont see in other stores.

The store was clean, neat and had great items. It was also open later than other stores. The associate that checked us out was a young girl,( I wish I had seen her name ) because she was the nicest girl ever! She took her time to help my sister in law and I to download the target App. Then she help us find our coupons. She also helped me with how to tell if a pair of jeans will fit, without trying them on. who knew....put the waist of the jeans around your neck and if it fits, then is should fit your waist. The jeans fit perfect when I got home and tried them on. This young girl went out of her way to be kind and helpful, even when the store was closing.

Nasty customer service in Germantown location. Will never come back. Stephanie at the service desk wasn’t helping. Bought a gift that doesn’t work in cash for the first time and can provide transaction details and lost the receipt. She straight up said no without explanation. If you have an issue, go directly to the Corporate Customer Service and save your time. They were able to help and locate my transaction.

I came into the store. I was looking for Lysol Spray. There was no more on the table that was in the back, but there were disinfectant wipes there. I asked associate Robert for some help. When he saw there were no more Lysol sprays he took it upon himself to go to the back to look for some. He came back with one can for me. I was very grateful because he did not have to go out of his way to do that for me. Thank you Robert! I appreciate you!

I had a wonderful experience at Target in Germantown tonight there was anything I I needed practically The shelves are stocked mostly. But what really set this experience apart from all other experiences and I rarely shop at Target was the cashier / customer service rep she was just amazing. She was informative she was professional she was knowledgeable she was fast and efficient and on top of all those things she provided a value-added service of assisting me with the issue that were experiencing now that she had encountered once in her life for two times and was able to share her knowledge of that with me which I havent found anywhere on the internet yet so big help aces to that lady I wish I would have got her name and Im sure its on my receipt and I will notify target management of the superb job that she did and shes reading this then the nice lady who helped the gentleman with the past issue thank you.

Thanks to the staff at this Target! My son had an accident in the bathroom, and while I was trying to get him sorted out and look for a wet floor sign, an employee overheard us and offered to get someone to help clean the floor. She was kind and understanding and it meant a lot.

All that is going on in the world and Amy took the time to show me in detail how the app works. Also with a smile! She is a tesament of Great Customer Service.

I would love to give the 5 stars but minor 2 stars due to the inconvenience for the Shipt shoppers. Some Targets I know they have a person at the self-checkout area and alway help shipt shoppers as quick as possible but not this place. We have to go to the customer service and it’s always a long line with only 1-2 workers in there. Then what happened would happen, I was late for delivering to the customers due to it (we all have the pressure of the delivery time for the customers). I wish that they could change the system and has more supports for the Shipt shoppers. The other things are fine: cleaned, organized and nice people.

I love Target. All of your employees are fantastic and I love being able to place an order for pickup. It has been so helpful during this difficult time to get items we desperately need with minimal human contact.

Worst management ever. Employees claim to be managers, and their service lacks of everything. They even laugh at customers, and do whatever is possible to not response. They are also selling insurance and extended “protection services” for equipment, with the “no questions asked” and store exchange, but at the moment pf the claim refuse to process anything. Do not add any extra “insurance/service” on any transaction/equipment, is a scam.

This Target location is very clean and well maintained. All products are neatly stocked. Many varities of items are sold here. Ample of parking space. The returns and checkout counters are very efficient.

I was helped by Raymond tonight who did a fabulous job attending my friend and I. He price matched our items without hesitation and just went purely above and beyond. His great attitude and friendliness was so admirable! Definitely made my shopping experience at Target convenient and efficient!

A previous time I had been shopping here at the location in Germantown, MD I was looking for a specific essential oil and we never ended up finding it, but let me tell you how multiple departments of the store worked together to help me look for what I was trying to find, my apologies its been quite some time since that shopping experience occurred, but it needs to be known! Also today when shopping I had a gentleman help out at the self checkout and every time I need help at self checkout I always receive incredible customer service. I always find good deals and for house items, I think they have the best quality for your money. I like the beauty section because they offer all sorts of trial size goodies to try without committing to purchasing something you may not like. And the range of make fits all ethnic backgrounds. They are very diverse, local and fun to shop at.

This store is always clean and you always have so many options.

The reason I’m giving it a one is because I was walking around and security kept following me. I asked multiple times why and he acted like I couldn’t see him. I put my items down and produced to walk out. I will never be going back to this target!

They gave my pickup order to someone else. Instead of giving me a refund, they pretend that nothing happened. I had to call customer service to get a refund. I cant reorder because some items are no longer in stock

It was quick & easy and the salesperson was very polite & helpful. I picked up my online purchase from the store on Black Friday and was amazed at how quickly I was helped. It was a totally stress-free & positive experience!

What’s not to love?? It’s another Target. This location is super busy but that is just because of the neighboring cities. The produce section is improving and has pretty fresh products but you have to be picky. Overall, it’s Target and I love it!

Ive been to probably 10 other Targets in the area, but this is the best managed Ive seen. Even on a weekend the store is merchandised well and shoppable. The workers are helpful. They recently remodeled, so its a layout more like a department store than rows like a grocery store. The concept for the layout is a little more confusing, but I enjoy shopping here. They have a pharmacy, snack bar and Starbucks.

The store is clean and their customer service is outstanding! Especially at the electronic section. Today two gentlemans name Devon and Sam help me fix my phone. If it wasnt for them, I wouldnt know what to do! They were a big help.

Target truly is a more upscale version of Walmart. I like Target’s store environment and customers better, and also that Target sells a small selection of children’s books while Walmart doesn’t. Target’s customer service is also more friendly and efficient. This Target has a Starbucks, too, which is a bonus since I could always use a Starbucks drink.

Lat night I had a bad allergy reaction and my face was swollen and felt miserable, went this morning to buy the medicine and Donna was so helpful and pleasant, helped me out with all my questions and even offer to help me more, but I noticed she was the only one doing everything at that time and did not want to abuse her kindness. Clean and newly renovated. Several self-checkouts. Easy shopping with a huge selection. Their food section is decent as well. Lots of options for clothing and shoes. Kiosk for printing pictures. Great prices on tons of merchandise.

Its your standard Target with an additional pharmacy and supermarket added on. Lines are short to medium length. Great selection of most household items and stylish clothes. Very comprehensive toy section. Shoe quality is oddly poor, and the electronics section could be better stocked. Otherwise, a very good Target location.

Wow Amazing deals and sales here at Target. Wasnt looking to shop but there summer styles and colors caught my eye! Jeans and bathing suits to accessories to almost everything you could think of. Impressed with there hip chic trendy styles. Cant wait to wear my new clothes!

Cleanliness of the store; staff was very helpful

My Sons Visa gift card funds were voided by the cashier by accident. The store manager on duty was no help and gave me attitude like it was my fault they made the mistake. My 6 year old Son had to walk out without his video game. Now we are stuck waiting for 10 days to see if they refund the Visa gift card back!

Very nice selection of clothing. Excellent staff and service. There is a CVS pharmacy within the store just in case you need to fill your prescription. Just love Target stores period.😀

My nieces and I visited this store last week and Raymond A. (Sales Associate) was incredibly helpful and left us with a positive experience at this location! He assisted us during the check out process, ensuring that we received the best savings on the items that we purchased through the store promotions, Cartwheel app, and processing the manufacturers coupons that I presented to him. This is key for self-check out, because shoppers often miss some of the store promotions because sales associates are not careful to review the items you are purchasing to evaluate the best savings for those items.Additionally, Raymond took the time to get to know us as customers and ask for our feedback on the store (which I have to mention was recently renovated and looks beautiful!). This type customer service interaction with sales associates are key when I shop at a store, and it shows genuine care for customers. Raymond, keep up the excellent job!To the Germantown Target management, you have found yourself a loyal and forever customer to this location!

I love Target but I dont love this location. I was hoping was the remodel was done that things would be better. Things are not better. It is difficult and awkward to push a cart down aisles and around the store. Displays are in the way, aisles are too narrow. Clothes aisles are way to narrow. The worst is that during the day they are stocking the shelves. They block whole aisles and sometimes even sections of the store with their boxes, crates, and carts. If I abandon my shopping cart to walk around the mess and grab the items I need to purchase...I am given grumpy looks and comments from the employees. I have almost completely given up using the Target app at this store. The cartwheel rarely works. The gift card feature in the app has never worked at this store. Also, the prices are consistently higher at check out than what they say on the tags in the aisles. Double check the expiration dates on your food as they are often expired at this location.

It is just a great store that is clean and organized and very friendly customer service. I wish I knew the ladys name that is always like my best friend. She is so sweet and always makes me smile! She calls me sugar and I love it!

My Cashier is a very polite and caring employee; I have bought plenty of greeting cards, and she is the first who cared enough that I had the envelope for the card, and she pointed out that I had the wrong size. She loves her job and the customers.

On May 8th 2020 I visited the Germantown target mobile department. I was assisted by an employee named Peggy Holt. I was there to get an IPhone pro Max. My motivation to upgrade my phone was the $200 dollar gift card being offered to Verizon customers. Not my first time acquiring a gift card from target during one of these promotions. You see I am a loyal Target customer.The mobile department has to do all of their verification work etc. to get your service upgraded. This is where my troubles began. Upon entering my information into Targets system I was blocked from upgrading due to Targets system stating I had a pending bill. Verizon was called. And everything looked ok on their end (no pending balance). Peggy stayed on the phone trying to resolve the issue for close to 3 hours. All the while still working the register and attending to other customer questions/concerns. After repeat calls to various departments within Target there was still no resolve. Peggy suggested I return the next day vowing she would do her best to get my line upgraded.The next day I returned thinking that what ever glitch that prevented my upgrade in Targets system would have been worked out. Especially since Peggy had spent 3 hours on the phone with Target reps the dayBefore. Well I was wrong. This day I was helped by Elon Clarke who just like Peggy tried his best to get past the flaws in Targets system to get my phone updated. He too spent several hours on the phone going over the same things that were explained the day before. I watched 2 employees trying to do their best, trying to keep the customer happy when their resources were just are not working. I did not leave with a phone this day either but I was told a call would be made to his manager Christine Myer and to return tomorrow.It’s now May 10th. Mother’s Day. I go back to Target because I could not bring myself to believe that what ever glitch or issue that was happening within your system had not been resolved. Not with the amount of effort I watched your employees put in. Well the same issue occurred 3 days in a row. And again. I did not get to upgrade my phone nor did I get the $200 gift card that I had so anxiously accounted as my second Mothers Day gift. (My Iphone Pro Max) being my first Mothers Day gift. Very disappointing experience.If I can say anything good about this situation is Target has some amazing employees in your Germantown Mobile Department. Peggy and Elon never lost their cool in what was a irritating process for all involved. I watched them annoyed as ever with Targets Customer Service Reps but still maintain their composure with all of the customers and still do their job. Still try to reassure me that they will get the issue resolved. Which from my view was not easy at all.I’m not sure what Target does to recognize employees who go above and beyond, I really just wanted to make sure Peggy and Elon get recognized for their commitment and outstanding customer service.Please find a way to resolve this issue for future Target customers. It was a lot of time wasted for your employees as well as your loyal Target customer.

The staff at this store ALWAYS bend over backwards to help me. Not once have I ever met a rude staff member,and I have been going to this store as long as target has been open! I pick up prescriptions at least once a week, and often more, so I can say with confidence that this team is the best!!

Clean and not too crowded, very good experience

I recently placed an online, in store pick up, order. It all went smoothly until I got to the store to find that the order had been canceled and the product had been sold to someone else. Thankfully the staff and store manager were the nicest, most empathetic people I’ve ever met. The issue was with their computer system, not the fault of anyone who worked at the Germantown location and they did everything they could to make me happy; the end result was not only a better fix than I had hoped for but that I walked out wanting to write this review. Please support this store, they work hard and really care about their customers. Thanks So much everyone!

I received exactly what I ordered and it was ready on time.

Great selection with good prices, especially if you have a Redcard. I like the cartwheel discounts and coupons sent in the mail. I really appreciate the type of service I always get while I am there, from the minute I walk in the doors.

The sales representatives were superquick, efficient and very professional!!! The one in particular who helped me was actually multitasking without making anyone feel ignored - because she was quick to say just a second please and literally turned to talk to her associate for a second - to help him with his customer - and then turned back to me - without showing any signs of frustration or aggravation or tiredness. I was actually quite impressed.Customer service is still a big reason why I will go to one store and not another. Target is hitting their target, right on the spot!!!

The new remodeled layout is AMAZING. It looks so much more clean and modern, everything is new. The staff are all nice, and I never have any trouble finding what Im looking for. Always had a great experience here. Nowhere near as crowded as Walmart. Great job target staff for making this an amazing store!

Very helpful employees. The shelves were full and had a great variety. The womens clothing was full of very different varieties and very neat and sizes were easy to find.I enjoy shopping at that Target.

Today I visited the Target in Germantown, MD. Three associates and one cashier technically wore masks. The masks did not cover their noses. If the associates continue to show disrespect for the customers and endanger our health, I cannot shop at the store.

Extremely difficult returns relative to every other retailer I shop. No one by phone, chat or in-store seemed to be aware of Target’s well-advertised holiday extended return policy. It was a nightmare trying to return a cordless phone even with a receipt simply because associates were unaware of this policy. I wasted hours on this and finally was able to get it done. I will never shop here again.

The Germantown Target is one of our go-to shopping spots for household goods and is consistently competitive on prices even including electronics. The in house pizza and Starbucks doesnt hurt for a quick trip with the kids and making sure theyve got a snack to keep everyone satisfied while getting errands done. The new remodeling opened up a lot of space and appears to have increased in store security as well. The convenience and location make it a perfect draw and anchor to the Milestone shopping center.

Target is a great place to shop. The discount on the Circle are awsome.

My wife and I went to the location in Germantown, we’ve been going to that location over 6 years. Today we went there and came across this female associate Victoria, her behavior was very unprofessional and she had a very bad attitude. I don’t know if she was having a bad day but I’ld never wanna go through that again.

I love Target! Everybody that knows me, knows that. I probably go to a Target location once a week. The Germantown Target was recently renovated. I went in excited but came out feeling like I need a therapist. My daughter needed summer clothes so I went in to get her shorts and t-shirts. First, the children section is so small now due to the renovation, I couldnt even maneuver my cart through the section. That can be really challenging for mothers. While in the childrens section a random employee began to clean the section. Every part I went to she would quickly make her way over to clean. At some point she even peeked her head over a fixture to watch me pick up clothes that fell. I was under so much stress while shopping here. After I left the childrens section, I called my husband who was at the Home Depot. He came over quickly. Once I saw him, I started hearing the music in the store. The whole time I couldnt hear the music because I was so stressed. The only thing about picking out one person to follow is that you are letting so many others get away. When we were checking out I saw the same employee talking to the security guards...
