One of my familys favorite places. Large selection of LDS books and other educational materials, neatly organized throughout the store.They were super nice & even gave us a coupon to the ice cream place next door.Cant wait until our next visit.

This bookstore has such a cute setup! They have a snacks & goodies section, pottery and sculptures for sale, even beautiful artwork of temples and Christ. The employees were very helpful and friendly!

Deseret Book has a lovely layout where everything is easy to find! It always warms my heart when I walk into the store because it smells good, it looks beautiful with all the decorations, the people there are kind and eager to help you, and its full of books and art work and so much more to inspire and uplift you! I cant leave there without a smile on my face. :) Just picked up an order and I cant wait to go back next time! ❤️

It has a wide selection of religious books, both of sacred texts and of study guides and of theology, and they even have religious art pieces and media of all kinds and miscellaneous trinkets. Its a heaven for me.

I love this store. Its always neat, clean and organized. Staff members always wandering about asking if you are needing help or have questions. Super friendly. A very nice clerk spent a half hour with me helping me chose a CTR ring for my Nephews mission. This is a very special gift and I had to get it just right. She was awesome!

I love this store. It has everything spiritual you could possibly ever need (or want, for that matter). The atmosphere is pleasant, its clean and organized. The staff is always friendly. I love it.

They were friendly, courteous and helpful in spite of not being able to replace the defective shoes. (The shoes were purchased over a year ago with little wear, they still made me feel good by explaining the return defect policy). I would give them 6 stars but they only give you 5.

I see all the reviews on the store are very good. Unfortunately I did not have the same experience. The first time I went into the store the employees were too busy to help me because they were talking amongst themselves. I stood in front of the cash register for approximately three minutes one woman finally asked if I was standing in line to pay! I was the only person in front of the cash register except the other two employees she was chatting with? I ended up purchasing the wrong book for my son and when I went to return it I was asked for my personal information, I didn’t want to be part of the book club that they offer so I hesitated the woman at the counter insisted that she had to have my personal information to do the return. I was not happy about this and it showed. I did tell her this was my second visit and I would not be back she proceeded to tell me there are things that we can just not change! The man beside her that I bought the book from in my first visit piped up and said it’s a good thing you won’t be back and the asked me if I had even purchased the book from their store. Well I bought it from him and had a receipt. All and all really poor customer service and I think it was because I do not fit their ideal image of a respected woman.

All employees were very helpful, and knew exactly what I needed.

Its so great to have a Deseret Book back on this side of the Valley finally. My only complaint is that its so small Ill probably still do a lot of shopping on the other side of the Valley or online. Still, its convenient, carries most of the things you expect to find and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The staff is so wonderful, I like to ask when Im being helped how they like working here, and I have never received an answer besides that they love it. Friendly and helpful staff, and wonderful products, I always feel great as I spend more money than I was planning, but have never regretted it also. The store is run by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (commonly called Mormons), but has many things for any Christ Jesus loving, or curious, person.

This is a store to purchase Christian paintings, statues, and other artwork, owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They also have articles for learning some other languages, principally Spanish, and journals. They have other artwork relating to their church, Prophets, Temples, and the Book of Mormon. On one side of this building there is also a distribution center for the white clothing that LDS members use when in the temple, where the clothing without color or stain represents purity. The workers are happy to answer questions about their Church. If you are looking for a gift for a missionary, this is also a great place to search.

They didnt have the book i needed because they didnt print enough (I was told). Next printing, next month, disappointed.

I love to go into Deseret Book even on days I dont spend money. There are so many things to look at and good ideas for friends and family. Everyone who works there is pleasant and will go out of their way to help. I can spend 2 hours in there without even realizing it.

Used to be able to get all Bibles and religious books. Now only Mormon books that we could find. Listed as a Christian book store.

I came in for a name plate for my grandsons scriptures. I thought it was going to be a relatively quick trip. Not at all! First, we were at the store for over an hour because there were scriptures being done ahead of our name plate. Second, the store was out of gold plates so I had to settle for silver. Third, the young man creating the name plate was not familiar with the equipment so he embossed the name, but did not fill in the letters with black. He brought it out and I had to have him go back and complete it. It was not done very even, but I had to take it anyway as we had already invested over an hour and could not stay later! Not at all the Deseret Book experience I expected.

The people here are just wonderful. Always helpful, polite, and kind. It is peaceful place to find inspirational books and things to increase your knowledge of Jesus Christ and build a greater understanding about Latter-day Saints.

Always pleasant people to help you find what you are looking for and the ambience is really awesome, I can spend hours there looking at all the beautiful stuff they have. Love this place, and also is so close to the temple, every week I go to the temple, I treat myself by going to Desert Books.😍😉

I love that this place has such a wide variety of spiritually uplifting things. There is a painting there of Christ reaching down to help a man up that is set in the light just right it makes it look out of this world you could even say Celestial

Smaller than other Deseret Bookstores Ive been to before, but it the displays are very esthetically pleasingly. LDS Distribution is in the store, as well. Employees are friendly but dont seek out shoppers to assist. Really grateful to have one so close.

Im so glad this deseret is so close to home and to the temple. The customer service is great and so are the products! There is quite the variety of things here like the art, sculptures and paintings or the church history books and scripture guides. Over all a great place that makes you feel at home.
