Amazing service and ice cream was so dang good. My family and I were in there about an hour ago and Isaac and a young lady who I dont remember her name, helped us. They were so friendly and helpful. Amazing workers and such great ice cream. Would 10/10 recommend! Big shoutout to those two workers. Was great to see some smiling faces!!!!!

I absolutely loved this place! The staff was incredibly friendly and sweet! I thoroughly enjoyed the refreshing and unique flavors of ice cream. I love the Fat Monkey (banana and peanut butter and chocolate flavors, yum!)! I am not huge Ive cream fan, I prefer baked goods kind of desserts, but I definitely found Rockwell to be delicious! 🤎🤍💛👍🏻

I went to go for their cookie sandwiches, I called ahead of time by 15 min to see if they are still doing them with Covid still being around, and they said, “yes.” I arrive, and am told, they only had two day old cookies since the sandwiches are unpopular. Mind you, I wanted to order three sandwiches. She says to me I can make you a batch, only to be informed I’d have to wait 16 mins. I already drove 30 min at this point. Instead we got two cookie sundaes. The cookies were hard and not the least bit tasty. She didn’t even offer to microwave them to soften them. And, their ice cream is nasty! We unanimously agreed their mint chocolate chip tasted like toothpaste and/or mint mouthwash.. very, very unprofessional, and overpriced for poor quality ice cream. Not worth your time or the calories.

The ice cream was not good. All the flavors had a hint of banana and had a consistency of being refrozen multiple times. Flavors were either missing their “flavor chunks” or it was super soggy. The ice cream is already melting in the freezer.

I was very dissapointed with my first time going to Rockwell Ice Cream Co. NOT a good experience will not be back. First off, employee wasnt wearing a mask or hair bonnet, as she was digging into ice cream cooler, her hair is touching the other containers! I ordered a waffle cone and as she was placing ice cream in it, the cone cracked. She proceeded to hand me the cone, I asked how am I to hold the cone without my ice cream falling out? She answered I can give you a cup, well hell that defeated the whole purpose of getting a cone. My husband ordered ice cream cone with chocolate fudge sauce she had to then apologize for the sauce being so stiff for it had just came out of freezer. Ice cream had good flavor just crumbly!. No napkins I actually found some on top of trash can!

Went in for a pizooki walked out with a Frisbee. The cookie was old and rock solid. I had place it in the microwave to somewhat soften it. The rep was very nice but the ice cream was bland. Not recommended.

Ordered a whole pint of honeycomb ice cream and there was ZERO honeycomb in it. The whole thing was just the vanilla base. Disappointing!

The ice cream is pretty good. The only staff in there was not wearing a mask. Considering everything going on and regardless of your beliefs this was unacceptable and a total disregard for public safety.

Just had the Rockwell Road (Rocky Road) Ice Cream and it maybe the best I’ve ever had 😂👏🏻. My diet will not be happy that I discovered this place!

Dairy free options are awful. Everything else we tried was overly sweet. It was slow when we showed up—we felt like an interruption to the worker, instead of what he was there for.

Unique and Delicious flavors with great service and a charming atmosphere.Gilbert has had no shortage of great Ice cream shops opening the last few years so it can be difficult to stand out. Even in that highly competitive space Rockwell really manages to hold its own. Not only is it a great location but the staff is super welcoming and helpful. They are almost too eager to get you samples of all their favorite flavors. You can tell they genuinely love the product, and want you to love it too.The Ice cream here is not only top notch quality (which alone wouldnt get you that far in Gilbert these days,) but they have a variety of wholly unique flavor offerings Ive never seen anywhere else. They rotate these but the G.O.A.T seems to be consistent and is a must try. It is herb-y and tangy and sweet and truly in a league of its own. Other flavors I loved are the Honeycomb, Brown Butter Brickle, and Snickerdoodle, but that is only the tip of the ice *cream* burg (sorry) in terms of what they offer. You really do just have to try it for yourself.Rockwell Ice Cream is a fantastic addition to Gilbert and I truly hope others enjoy it as much as I have.

This ice cream is amazing! So fresh with the best ingredients and made from scratch make the flavors truly pop. The most difficult thing about this place is picking which flavor you want to buy because they let you try them all! Reasonably priced this place is a must try.

The long line was worth it. I got the honey comb flavor and it was amazing. Really rich and dense ice cream with great flavors. My wife got the GOAT which was also delicious. We will definitely be back for more.

This place is so great! The flavors are all to die for. My favorites are Honeycomb, Brown Butter Brickle, and Cookie Monster but you seriously can’t go wrong! Everything, including the mix-ins, are made from scratch in their kitchen, just minutes from the shop. You can taste the difference in quality from other local ice cream or gelato shops!

I was skeptical going in that it was going to be like these other boutique Ice Cream shops that are overpriced and not particularly outstanding. It actually was pretty good for the price and the single scoop is a decent size. I sampled about 5 flavors but ended up getting the GOAT as I feel that one was far and away the most unique and flavorful.

Having passed by many times and finally decided to try it. Ice cream was melted and running down my hand and arm the second I got it. Flavors were nothing special and bland. Too expensive for melted ice cream and next time will go with blue bell from the store!!!

I love this place! The ice cream is the real deal. Super thick and SO creamy.

Some unusual flavors like fat monkey and the goat. Went with a double scoop of cookie monster. Nice flavor but seems a bit pricey for just ice cream without special toppings. I would still recommend it though. Also has ice cream sundays, pazookies and sitting called cookie cakes. Those looked tasty, maybe on the next visit.

Very, very unique Brown Butter Brickle. I think I am one who enjoys good ice cream and for me this is top shelf!!

My favorite icecream place. This is how icecream is supposed to be, creamy and made with high quality ingredients. They also have some fun and unique flavors. Try the GOAT (greatest of all time) if you want to taste something truly unique. Its flavor is not for everyone but it did win best icecream in America.

Great tasting ice cream! They also have a couple sorbet flavors as well as at least one non-dairy flavor. Snickerdoodle cookies and pb brownie were both very good as well.

It was crazy busy, I wish they had a better line system, it was difficult for people to walk through. their ice cream was yummy, my two favorites were the cookie monster and strawberries and cream, so good!

I love ice cream, Im never one to turn down a bowl. Similarly, I never have trouble finishing a scoop.But I tried this place on their grand opening, free scoop, and I was underwhelmed.The ice creams lacked flavor and tasted like cheap ingredients.Although Im glad I didnt have to pay for it to learn a harsh lesson, I wont be returning.Id rather buy a half gallon of Blue Bell ice cream from Wal-Mart.

Do some research on who Rockwell was, to gain some perspective on the name. Had I known, I wouldnt have patronized the business to begin with.Cheap-tasting ice cream, nice decor.
