Sanctuary Landscaping did an excellent job on our backyard after Presidential Pools finished with our pool. Communication was on point. Every time I had a question they would respond the same day and if I had a question on the weekend they would follow up the next business day. We had a little bit of a tight schedule but they came in and got it done! Highly recommend.

We worked with Sanctuary Landscape through Presidential pools on our project. Asking for a turn key backyard on a new home build. We had an amazing experience with CJ! Communication with him via text/call was responsive and he was always there to answer my questions regarding process or delays in product times etc. due to 2020 situations. Weve had typical settling, and cracking with items and it was a simple reach out and get on the schedule for warranty. You cant make it easier than that.

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY OR TIME!! They do not value it. We have had trouble from the beginning and have been more than patient. Our job was completed in May. We had some issues with our rock having dark oil looking stains and our plants dying. As well as our irrigation leaking causing mud and a small amount of flooding. We were assured that this issue would be resolved because they offer a 90 day warranty. We are now well into September and have waited patiently and reached out several times to the owner and to one of their project managers Aaron. We have been promised for over three months now that our landscaping would be fixed with no call no shows and broken promises. We were originally referred to them by Presidential Pools. Who we were more than happy with and easy to work with. Unfortunately i cannot say the same about sanctuary. Time is money and in the middle of a pandemic you think they would value customers a little bit more.

We worked with CJ and our experience with him was top notch. We came into the project not knowing exactly what we wanted, and his creative vision and guidance helped us make our dream back yard a reality. He was responsive and attentive during the construction process, and even helped up resolve an issue that showed up well after the project was complete. In short, CJ at Sanctuary Landscape was professional and exactly the kind of person you want to work with.

We worked with Presidential and Sanctuary for a landscape/pool design on our front and back yards a couple years ago, and we’re very pleased with the work. However, we have run into problems with some of the lighting in the landscape portion after a little over a year and have been 100% unable to get any sort of a response from this company. We have submitted forms through their website, called repeatedly and left our contact each and every time for over a month and received nothing but radio silence. I’m appalled and won’t recommend anyone use this company if this is the follow-up they receive.

Sanctuary has been the most unorganized and most unresponsive landscaping company that I have worked with ever. We are building a presidential pool and they contracted Sanctuary to re-lay our pavers and turf. It has been a nightmare from day one. Terrible communication between presidential and sanctuary. Neither one seemed to have the plans for our yard. Sometimes the trades would come out and have no idea what they were supposed to be doing. They did not communicate to us what plants needed to be taken out by us. Crews showed up to work but couldn’t because we weren’t notified to have plants taken out, which seemed to cause weeks of delay and even more lack in communication. CJ was great on our initial meeting but was highly annoyed when we asked about making changes to our plan, acting as if it was impossible to find our very generic Tierra Norte Pavers. He said he thought the current plans looked fine. It’s not his yard snd he won’t have to live with it. It was a giant pain to try to get invoicing for the new plans, which we ended up not doing anyways. The pricing for a small patch of additional pavers was outrageous. I’m addition to that total headache, they dumped sand and dirt for our job on 2/4 and it is now 3/16 and we “don’t have a date for install”. For a month and a half our neighbors have endured two massive piles of dirt that nearly go half way into the street and they are starting to complain. I do not blame them. Sanctuary installed our pool limestone over a month ago and has not come back to pick up extra pallets and materials and debris that has been sitting in our yard front. It is a complete eye sore. Thankfully, what work has been done has been of quality and the crews were very good about asking questions when they were clearly confused. I would absolutely not recommend this company. Period.

Kip at President Pools referred us to Sanctuary Landscape. We worked with CJ at Sanctuary Landscape. CJ designed our front and back yard. We weren’t exactly sure what we wanted but we provided CJ a few ideas i.e. fire pit, barbecue, turf, travertine, etc. CJ created the perfect design. We love how both turned out. We went with the lighting package which shines on a few trees in the front and back yard which turned out great. We did have a bush in the front yard that died after calling Sanctuary Landscape they replaced it within a week. CJ kept us informed as the project progressed. I would recommend Sanctuary Landscape.

We just finished our pool and backyard project with Presidential and Sanctuary. It has been a great pleasure working with CJ from day 1. He is very knowledgeable, professional and responsible. Our project took almost 6 months to finish, however, some delays were due to COVID. Managerial oversight and co-ordination with Presidential could have been better. CJ was our point person and never disappointed us. Our yard looks beautiful and the credit goes to CJ, Chad and their hard working crew. I am confident that Sanctuary will continue to show excellent workmanship with our project in future as well.

Putting together a backyard is stressful in itself, so when we were recommended to work with Sanctuary Landscape by our designer at Presidential Pools, we quickly jumped on it because it took no additional work on our end to find a landscape company. We first want to recognize the Sales person we worked with at Sanctuary. CJ was great throughout the whole process. He listened to what we wanted and designed a beautiful backyard area. He was always available to answer any questions/concerns we had, and we appreciated his communication throughout the project. There were a couple hiccups along the way, but when Chad (the owner) got involved to help facilitate the process, we felt valued as customers. Thats all you can ask for. The wife and I would definitely recommend Sanctuary for your landscape needs.

I was referred to Sanctuary Landscape by Presidential Pools when I started my pool project. I thought it would be convenient because they’re located in the same building. Never have I dealt with a such an unprofessional company.I had been asking for weeks for a rough estimate when Sanctuary would begin their portion of the project as the pool build was nearing completion. Every single person in a 5 person email chain at Sanctuary ignored this simple question. Finally, mounds of granite, dirt and other supplies were dumped on the street in front of my house the weekend before Labor Day. I was home, yet no one that delivered the materials bothered to knock and ask me where to leave them. My driveway was completely empty and two neighbors complained about this mess. This was my first impression of the Sanctuary as a whole - not once did anyone ever come out to look at my property before the landscaping began. Despite there being materials left all over my street, not a single person at Sanctuary could tell me when the project would begin. Not even a ballpark.I counted over 14 times in my email when I asked when this project would begin. It still blows my mind that these people were all in the office together and could not even supply a ballpark estimate when it would begin. Mind you, I paid for all the work months in advance. They do not seem to assign a project manager, so its anyones guess how they coordinate the work that needs to be done.Work finally began when people just showed up and started doing it - weeks after the materials had been spilling into the street. One of their workers noticed I didn’t have a water pressure regulator for the drip irrigation system. I would not have been hit with a $700 charge out of the blue for this had someone been out to my property before work began.I can’t attest for the quality of the work compared to other landscape companies as this was my first time using one. I can say that the planters that were built were painted sloppy and weren’t sealed properly. The neighbor that I share a wall with came over to tell me that water was soaking through. Sanctuary sent someone to touch up the paint and seal the planters, months after the fact. There are other portions of this project that I need corrected but it’s been months now and my emails are going unanswered. I am writing this review to warn others that your checks will be cashed but do not expect much effort or any communication from Sanctuary once your project begins - if you even are given a date for that. I would advise you to avoid this company and spend your money elsewhere.

CJ Daley did a great job of putting our plan together! We absolutely love the way our yard turned out! We would rate him a 5 (and did on the survey provided by Sanctuary). Overall, Sanctuary as a company got less stars due to scheduling issues and a lack of communication during the construction phase of our pool and landscaping project. This doesn’t reflect on CJ - he was easy to work with and we do highly recommend him!

CJ was very good at setting or design up and responding. That is my only good comment. The project manager for our construction I saw once. Everything was always late or holding up presidentials pool schedule and other work. I had to call constantly to get things done and the answers I got were always shot from the hip just so I would leave the project manager alone. The works never seemed to know what the plans were and had little supervision from someone with the plans. If I wanted to be my own project manager I would have paid less money and hired a local guy.

Worst company. All of the negative reviews are spot on, listen to the warnings. Huge delays, unannounced visits, terrible work quality. You will spend the day staring out your window babysitting their work crew and their every move. Random crews will show up and dump materials in front of your house and then Sanctuary will not come back to work for weeks. If there is one day of rain in the week they will use that to push your work back weeks. We had to hire a separate company to finish the project after Sanctuary continued to delay. We had multiple neighbors complain about them.

I would agree with many of the above reviews. There is no one in charge or checking in on the project. CJ was great at answering our concerns and trying to solve problems for us, but we will still left figuring things out on our own. We had very specific plans, but not all the details were shared with the workers that would show up. Luckily I know Spanish and was able to go out and talk to the crews to stop them when they were doing something wrong. We had to babysit the project. We went with Sanctuary because we thought we wouldnt have to do that. So we were very disappointed to pay more for such a headache. We are still waiting on more sand for our pavers months after promised. They, only after us asking, said they would throw in some plants for free for all the hassle, but we have yet to see those either. Just know that you will have to call and call and call to get anything done, and even then it will take weeks.

Just like Rad, I’m posting 1 star because I can’t give negative stars. Like Rad, we were referred to Sanctuary when we bought our pool at Presidential Pools. Assured they could do what we wanted and found later they couldn’t so had to subcontract some work ourselves. Assured there would be coordination between these companies but that was false as well.1. Lack of timely, accurate and complete communication2. Slow to respond with design plans3. Lack of attention to detail- Too many errors and mistakes to list here.4. No project management- There was absolutely no coordination between the two companies. There was no Sanctuary project manager on site ever, just subs coming and going unsupervised.5. Wanted down payment early (June) to continue working on our design plan. Our pavers have been falling out almost since they were installed in February with constant assurances they’d be fixed yet here we are at the end of March and not fixed yet. This company has a long way to go to improve their star ratings.

I second all the others except I want it to be clear that the only reason there are 2 stars instead of 1 is purely because of CJ!!. This guy easily gets a whole star just for himself. He is the only person who remained in contact by his own initiative, instead of us being the driver. He is the one who came out after it was all done to realize that our sand was not installed correctly and our turf was miss measured. he is the one who we called when things were being done incorrectly. he is the one we called when our project was done and we knew some things were not right. he is the one we called because he is the only one who answered and got things done....and he isnt even the PM for the job. he was literally doing someone elses gig. This guy literally retains all your customers for you.The attrition you have with consumers is all on project management. So Thank you CJ for all you did and actually caring about our project, that for us, was costly and time consuming. He is your face of the company to a consumer off the street, so you guys are super lucky that he bothers to stick around when the support he gets is zippo after he hands off the project for others to manage.

First off, CJ Daley (our sales rep) was extremely professional and was completely transparent throughout the entire process! He is communicative and highly knowledgeable about the specific needs of his clients and I would highly recommend working with him if calling in. As far as the crew is concerned, they ALWAYS showed up on the day and time they said they were going to! This was extremely refreshing since other landscaping companies we have used in the past showed up for their projects whenever they wanted and never finished the them on time. To give you insight on our project with Sanctuary, we had 1,200 square feet of travertine laid, 200 linear feet of travertine border for a grass area, and a large 9x3ft gas fire pit built with stacked stone. This was not a small project by any means and they did a beautiful job! The patio section and walkways were laid perfectly and the intricate cuts around the pillars and other areas were done with precision. Our fire pit turned out amazing as well! You can put a level all the way around it and it is dead on. The crew also did a great job organizing the different patterns of stacked stone so it flowed nicely. We have had a number of parties since the job was complete and our guests cannot get over how great the yard looks! We could not be happier with the entire experience with Sanctuary! CJ and the entire crew were amazing throughout the process and my wife and I would highly recommend them to anyone with a landscaping project of any size!

Recently put in a pool and required landscaping as well. I was referred to Sanctuary Landscape by the pool company and was impressed with CJ Daley as we reviewed my options and built out a design. As with any major project you run into unforeseen circumstances; weather, supply, staffing, product issues and equipment challenges, thus the need to discuss plan changes. Be prepared to understand and accept your timeline will get pushed out, from past experience I certainly expected it. You need to have patience and be willing to compromise, yet still receive service and product to your satisfaction when considering overall expense. It is easy to get frustrated, even angry...however, I will say and fully endorse working with CJ Daley will appease your discontent to complete satisfaction in the end. To me, CJ Daley is Sanctuary Landscape, his integrity, ethic, and level of communication was top drawer. He is their brand, and an absolute priceless asset to this company.

Different from the other reviews, we experienced far more challenges with Presidential than we did with Sanctuary (overall, lack of communication and single point ownership). Daley, in designing a plan for the project. C.J. was courteous, professional, timely, and very flexible in developing the design plan. The computer aided design [CAD] he produced was particularly effective in conveying an accurate, detailed depiction of what we would be seeing alongside our new pool and spa. C.J. was also very timely in responding to our questions and went out of his way as a salesperson [at one point on a typically 100 degree plus day in August, personally picking up from Home Depot and delivering to our garage, forty very heavy stepping stones for the project] to assist in completing the projectV/rThe Bozelli Family

If I could put negative stars I would. I Had a pool built by Presidential pools. They are great. However. We did some additional work with our pavers that was installed by Sanctuary, the subcontractor. . Our contractor said the original work wasn’t done properly. So I called. And called and called. Presidential referred me directly to Sanctuary. 6 months later. Yes. 6 months. They came out to “correct” the problem. The issue was they did not put the sand down after laying the pavers. Huge gaps and sent photos etc. So we leave for vacation assuming the problem was going to be corrected while we were gone. Oh they put sand down.... BEACH sand. NOT the polymeric sand that should’ve been used. Like we are dumb or something. It was a big middle finger to us from them making them come out and correct the problem. Needless to say I did not have them come back to fix it. Didn’t want any more damage done. They are horrible. Do not use them.
