Best coffee shop in town. Seriously. Really cool atmosphere and a great place to chill for a bit. Awesome food as well.

My mom and I ate here for lunch, and it was amazing. I got the local sandwich it was so good! The perfect combination of flavors. I also tired a mango smoothie which hit the spot on such a hot day. The employees were super nice, and they got our food made in a timely manner.

I never write reviews, but I am a regular at the Local. I am a full time student, and it is a beautiful place to either study or get a great cup of coffee or food with friends. The staff are super friendly, the coffee is great, and you can even get cute mugs to have your drink in if youre staying for awhile. Their Mediterranean salad is great, but all their food is delicious. They have card games, and many sitting options at couches, or at beautiful tables. They have great wifi and it is a bright and warm place with big windows and plants. Love it there!

I love this place. The food is really good and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff is also friendly and helpful. I was greeted by the house dog and she was so sweet and Im sure part of that could have been that I had food but I love animals so I loved that she came around. The first time I visited I didnt see her. This is a clean place and it will be a stop for me anytime Im in Gillette.

The Local is a great local downtown coffee shop with fantastic coffee, food and treats all wrapped up beautifully in a cozy atmosphere with your choice of cozy couches, arm chairs or tables. With a BoHo chic/farmhouse/ranch combination vibe going on that works. There are lots of live plants in the bright big windows, local artwork on the walls and a smattering of old industrial antique things scattered here and there. All making for a fun place to hang out, sip a beverage, grab something to eat, maybe catch up on some work with their fast free wi-fi.I like supporting small business over chain stores. So, if you are looking for a locally owned Starbucks alternative check out The Local in downtown Gillette Wyoming!

Work brings me to Gillette frequently and I always look forward to spending part of my day at The Local. The employees are always so nice and have smiles on their faces! The atmosphere is very welcoming and they have plenty of seating options and variety from couches to tables! Have not tried anything but coffee drinks (delicious by the way), but the food always looks excellent!

OVER and ABOVE! They have been gracious in letting me come in almost daily to meet with clients as I am building my own business. They are more than happy to help with a new beverage idea or a different meal not on menu. Staff are super friendly and always ready to help! Family oriented which I love to see, if kids are with they are out helping work, as well as the hubbys and boyfriends. All around great place!

I love this place, we usually visit Gillette once or twice a year and I always make it a point to stop here. The drinks are fab, I usually get a chai latte, the vanilla chai is kinda sweet but the regular chai is excellent. The most recent time we were here my husband got the chicken bacon ranch wrap and I got the veggie wrap, perfectly hit the spot. Great place if you want a coffee and something healthy to eat. Plus, the atmosphere is calm.and relaxing.

Just the cafe youre looking for when your driving cross-country and needing coffee, wi-fi, good food and service. Its a two or three miles off the interstate but track it down. Its worth it.
