They chased us out and began to bad mouth the dealer in front of them. When we told them we weren’t interested they began following us out and saying “you can give us your car”, like what? No.
Not entirely a bad place, but the cars are just horrible. I got sold a lemon. My windshield wasn’t sealed properly, my fog light was broken, a tail light was out, had to get tires replaced, my key they gave me was super glued together and just broke today as they are not willing to replace it. Kind of a little disappointing.
Horrible experience with them, they sold me a unreliable car that I have been having issues with since the first week I had my car. I’ve had my car work on 3 times by the mechanic shop who works on all their cars they have and still have the same issues like if they are only turning off the sensors on my car and not working on the issues. Jorge the “ manger “ was really disrespectful on the phone raising his voice to me, he might speak to his wife like that but I cut that off real quick. I will be following up with the Better Business Bureau I have messages between employees expressing my concerns with my car before my 30 days warranty and they did nothing to help me out. I would rate them 0 if I could.
I bought a car from them 6 months ago since then with in the 1st week the car was making noises and the adapter didn’t work the AC wasn’t working and the gas sensor was broken. I took my car back to them and had me take it to the mechanic (who by the way is a family member of there’s) o told him what was wrong and what I needed fix. The day after I care back and picked up my car and all he “fixed” was my adapter to charge my phone and “AC”. My Car needed a front right axel fixed and A/C and something with the engine. The mechanic said it would be to expensive and to much work to do that he couldn’t do it. My cousin just bought a car from them and the day she bought it was making a noise my tia went down there and demanded her money back. My tia and cousin and I have been handling these issues with lawyers and I’m requesting that they need to give my money back for selling me a car that can’t drive. I needed a reliable car I’m a single mother and they took advantage of me and sold me a car that had issues.
Worst experience in a used car lot owner has no manners at all does not respect potential customers and lies about hes products just to sell
Just a bad dealer in general.they are a total rip off.dont recommend buying a car here.
Wife & I recently bought a car from them, excellent customer service and easy non hassle buying service. We will definitely be back. Thanks Salinas auto!
LOVE ITTHANKS FOR MY CAR
Nice people but the cars have alot of problems, brother in laws 1st car had motor problems and he switched it for another car and 3 months later the transmission went out, i recently got a car and 2 and a half months in and the engine is already smoking and throwing alot of codes took it back the first 2 weeks to have it fixed and they didnt fix it just said they did but didnt i took it to my mechanic and said whoevers worked on just it made it worse
Got my Truck here and love it!! The guys here are honest and know how to get you the best deal possible.
I wish i got the car inspected, this is what happens when you are a lady and do not bring in a man to check the car. They sold me a junk car and now i have to make high payments on a car that does not work. They say they will finance you.... yet they called me back 3 days later and asked me to put down more money or i had to return the car.STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!
They work with you no problem. They may have a couple cars with some rough edges so be sure to ask them to fix anything you need and they will be happy to do so.
Ive have bought two tahoes here. Great service great people. Im a customer for life
Think before you buy a car here. My parents bought a car thats sitting in the driveway because the transmission gave out less that a year from purchase.
Dont recommend this place. The sales person (owner) was very pushy, the office lady does not explain the paper work, and there were several issues with. the car.
Ok so upon my arrival I saw a car that I wanted to check out. I went to the receptionist to see if I can have someone help me see the inside of a 2005 Ford Mustang Gt (Which I doubt is the premium trim). She then told me she will have someone help me in a bit (She was the nice one but this review isnt why Im writing this). It was until a older man (Possibly the owner of the company) came out and told me Ok what do you need because I have a customer waiting. (As if I wasnt a possible customer). From there I told him if I can see the inside of the mustang which he told the receptionist to get the keys and open the car for me, which she did. Once she opened the car and it was on, I realized the amount of miles on the car 160,000+ miles and when I checked back at the sticker price it read $10,998, which is an extreme rip off. So I told the receptionist if anything I will buy this for $6,500 or $7,000. So she then told me Its not up to me, but rather the owner since I only do the paper work. (I didnt have a problem with that since it made sense). So when it came time to speak to the owner, he asked me how did I like the car, in which I responded with It is great but I saw the same car once get sold for 70,000 miles less at Leon Motors for that sticker price. But I was hoping if we can negotiate the price down to 6,500 or 7,000 due to the miles it has. Then this is when the problem started to happen. He then responds saying I cant go a penny less because it has thousands of dollars in upgrades and plus these cars dont lose value! (I knew it wasnt worth much on upgrades, since the only upgrades were: a hurst short throw shifter, a cheap flow master exhaust, and coil over suspension) So from there I told him How about 7,500? And he responded the same way I cant go a penny less, you can go to Leon Motors if you want since it is a better deal! So from there I just told him to have a great day and left with my girlfriend. I personally wouldnt recommend going to this place since the owner himself is rude and if the owner is rude, you can barely imagine how his other employee are besides the receptionist (who was sweet). By the way Kelley Blue Book has the car prices from $5814-$7833 with those options and mileage. Not coming here again though since it is not Dedicated to customer satisfaction.
Ive been shopping for a car for about 2 months now and couldnt find one on the right price for me. I was referred from a friend to go to Salinas Auto Sales and I thank him so much for refering me here. They have an excellent selection and a even better staff. They might not be the biggest, but they are the greatest! The staff was unbelievable, all the dealerships I went to would try to force me into buying a car from them, but this dealership was the total opposite. They did not want me to just buy the first car I saw, they wanted me to look around at all the cars they had before I made a decision. The sales manager, Sonny, was an awesome person and very respectful. They let me test drive a car and told me to take my time and to make sure I like how it drives before purchasing it. I absolutely fell in love with the car. The body was as if it was brand news, new tires, new brakes, and a nice clean detail. Before giving me any quotes, they provided me with the car fax on the vehicle. Dealers are not required to show the car fax, but this dealer made sure they did not hide anything from their customers. Rico then transferred me into the finance manager, Rico, (Sonnys brother), in order to look at some quotes. Sonny was also very respectful and generous. He made it very easy for me. I had no credit and most dealers were giving me a 22.95 interest rate, but Sonny was able to get me a 6.99% interest rate! It was a deal I couldnt resist. On a $23,999 vehicle my payments were 389 for only 5 years! When they tell you they have the lowest payments, they were not lying! Rico made me feel very comfortable, being open about everything and not hiding anything. After we came to a great deal, I was then put into a office to do paperwork. The person doing the paperwork was a young, very sweet, respectful women. She explained everything very clearly and made sure I understood everything. Shes not like the women that do paperwork while they are mad because of something that happened to them outside of work and dont smile, she always had a smile on her face. They offered me coffee, tea, and even pizza! When I was almost finished with paperwork, Rico told his younger brother Sergio to fill up my new car with a full tank of gas! I honestly couldnt believe the great experience I had with this dealership. Up to this day they still call me to make sure I am still in love with my car and to see if I needed help with anything. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a beautiful car with unbelievable cheap payments!! #1 DEALERSHIP IN SALINAS!!
