Great honest place. Jesse the owner is a very friendly customer focused guy. He got me in right away and even did the work on my car himself. They have a cool kids area for your kids to play as you wait for your vehicle to be repaired. They let you know everything about your car as they work on it so your always up to date on the status of it. Once again a great guy and thanks for the help.

These guys at honest 1 took my car in and did a free diagnostic to figure out what was wrong with my a/c. Happen to be a blendor mood door. They gave me a good price to fix it and was able to get me in before it got super hot outside! I will definitely go back if I have any issues! I appreciate them so much!!

It was my first visit to get my car serviced and I was impressed. My brakes feltl great when applied and they did a great job of checking everything out and told me what needed to be replaced, which was the wiper blades and cabin filter. I am always skeptical about taking my car to a shop because we have all heard the horror stories. The owner is a true car enthusiast and knows what he is doing and how to treat your car properly. He is a straight shooter and very honest. Do not be afraid to take your high end car there because he will be very respectful of your pride and joy. Will definitely use again.

Had a CEL P0300 which can be 1 of several things. I already checked google and they said it most likely is a coil pack but you should also check the MAF resistance, and plug gap, and cylinder walls for oil. All of which are simple enough for a backyard mechanic but due to the heat i figured to have Honest 1 do the diagnostic and work for me. Instantly they told me how busy they are and how its gonna take a while to look at the car which i was fine with since i have 2 vehicles. 5 days or so later i get a call telling me they check the codes and said it was a faulty coil pack which i already figured. I asked how did you come to the conclusion? They replied with that is what the code says is wrong. We all know these codes arent 100% and still require diagnostics work to ensure youre not wasting your $. They said its cheaper to replace the parts then to check them. So i said ill pay for you to check them and the service if in fact you are correct. They called back 5 days later saying the car isnt repeating the problem and they cannot do anything. Total BS. If you want to throw $ for nothing, then this is your spot! Thank god Honest 1 isnt in the medical industry!!!!!

The service I got was amazing. My car had the same issues on three separate occasions this year and the prior auto repair place could not figure out the problem. The gentleman from Honest 1 not only spent almost 15 minutes on the phone with me the first time I called, but he was able to fit me in on the same day and actually FIXED the problem this time, complete with pictures of the prior work done so I could see where the prior mechanic had incorrectly installed the part.It was such a relief to get my car finally fixed, and to have been treated honestly and fairly. I will definitely return to Honest 1 in the future for any further needs I have!

I’ve had some issues with other places in the west valley helping me get to my specific alignment specs since I track my cars or they would straight up turn me down. I first went to Jesse at Honest 1 when I was sent out of fire stone with a complete nightmare of an alignment and told me they will not proceed to try and change my specs unless it was to oem spec. I got in contact with Jesse and he had me in that following day and i showed him exactly what I was looking for. Soon after he comes up and let’s me know he was able to dial it in exactly where I was looking to be with no issues. Since then I’ve taken all of my cars and recommend every one that needs work done to their cars to him and his team. Thanks!

Previous shop couldnt figure out a suspension noise I was having. Honest 1 was able to find the issue and fix the car within a few hours. Its great to finally have my car working normally again, this is definitely my go to shop now for all my car services!!

Will not be coming back to this place or recommending went to get my ac looked at one side was blowing hot but would get cold when driving they looked at it i was 1 lb low on refrigerant and my cooling fan wasnt working on one end. I bought a new one 2 months ago and it turned out to be defective but was under warranty and I explained i wasnt going to pay for another when I just bought one for 200 dollars which was exchangeable was asked if i wanted them to add the refrigerant i need i said well yes might as well so I didnt have to make another trip but was not told a price and didnt think it would be to much WRONG i should have said no charged 160 dollars to add 1 lb to my system if I was told it would cost that much i would have said no thanks and went somewhere else. And the diagnosis was wrong my fan was fine my relay was bad.

I was referred to Jesse from a friend . I brought my truck in for a second opinion and. Im very please with these people. The most I like from this place is they did a thorough inspection and printed out everything. That my truck needs that right there put a smile on my face and Ive met couple of the mechanics which have been helpful and kind . I am now a customer here n plan on staying !

Called set up an appointment showed up the next day I showed up early they got the truck in early got the oil changed tires rotated. they were even nice enuff to pour a bottle of slick 50 I picked up on the way witch was unexpected but appreciated since iv been told from every body else sorry sir cant dont it or leave it a little low so you can top it off yourself before leaveing.so a big thumbs up for that definitely be back again when needed and recommended to others killer customer service keep it up guys 👍👍

Im really glad I found this place, I feel lucky theyre close to my house.I totally fed up an oil change and assumed the worst. Brought the vehicle to Honest 1 and prepared myself to be....um....penetrated. However, they found that it was just a gasket that got pinched in the filter housing. They couldve easily gave me the runaround of their labor rate, part costs, etc. but were honest (hey thats the name) and didnt even charge an oil change price.Will definitely return as needed and refer as much as possible.

My check engine light went on. I was told there was a diagnostic fee. It turned out to be a faulty gas cap which was $45. Less than the diagnostic. Because it was a simplefix I was only charged $45 and no diagnostic fee. Imagine that. An Honest auto repair shop.

Use this place pretty often for my past two cars, really like the guy david at the desk super helpful. Haven’t had any issues until my latest fix which is like the 10th time I’ve used this place but the issue was brought to attention pretty quick and Jesse made sure to call around to the dealer to find out what was going on with my window switches. Overall, great place.

They dont use muddled, obscure lingo as an attempt to show off their knowledge and expertise to gain your trust, ...and they arent condescending. Their communication is clear and to the point. Prices are more than reasonable, and even though I couldnt afford it, Id feel good paying even more than they charged me just because the service is so excellent. These guys make sure everything is done right and meets your highest expectations and total satisfaction. They will do whatever it takes, even if it may cost them more than the price you paid, to make sure you are happy. They warranty and stand by their work. I can only assume that their mission must be to gain a customer for life.... *Bonus - the owner is what is called eye candy :)

Went in for an estimate because my AC stopped working. They gave me a quote of $1800 for an AC compressor. I found this to be a bit pricey so I went to a smaller auto shop and they said that my compressor was fine it was the condenser that needed to be fixed. Which only cost me around $200. This is my HONEST review about this not so HONEST shop. Please shop around to smaller shops so you dont get ripped off at these big shops.

HONEST 1 is TRULY HONEST!! And they have GREAT SERVICE!! We needed our 32ft RVS front end F53 Chassis AC recharged for our week long vacation that we very much wanted to start the very next day. Dave was extremely helpful and was able to schedule us in the very next morning. The technician Mike was extremely thorough and gave me honest advice on the AC recharge and belts. They both were very professional, knowledgeable and respectful!! WE FOUND OUR NEW AUTO REPAIR SERVICE! WE WILL DEFINITELY BRING THE REST OF OUR VEHICLES HERE!! VETERAN AND LGBTQ RECOMMENDED!! New ownership - bad experience!I used to bring my car for repairs and I was impressed how good and honest the place used to be. Not anymore! Now they are not ashamed to rip people off and a simple job turns to be hundreds of $ on an old vehicle where the parts should just cost much less what they are charging for.For car starter replacement they charged 670$!!!!Can you believe it!!!! Because the car was towed to the shop and they understood we cant tow it back, it was inoperable!!!Rude, unapologetic, unprofessional!At Toyota dealer this service price check came out to be 370$ (labor+part) and at other places 280$(labor+part)+tax.We are taking them to small claims court!!!They put rebuilt part and charged for it almost 400$, although rebuilt cost for compatible part is 118$ and at the dealer the new part is 219$.Then they charged 100$ for diagnostics which is not necessarily in this kind of problem. I was told by another auto shop (when the services were already done) that it is obvious that the problem is starter, so the proper way is to replace started for 280$+tax and if the problem persists then do diagnostics etc. They charged us for both!Big liars! Not honest!

We first tried the Dodge dealer for rear brakes. The price was so high I was in shock. Your place got me in the same day for about 45% less and no hassle. Recommended without hesitation! Thanks for great work and we will be back!

I brought our car here for an oil change. They only use synthetic blend or full synthetic. They dont use conventional oil because it doesnt offer much protection from wear on the engine. While I was there, I got an air cabin filter, engine air filter, and wiper blades. With tax and my 10% off coupon, everything costed $87.05. Thats close to what a dealership would charge you to just get the air filters! I love this place. We are always treated respectfully, and women can come here safely and not worry about being overcharged because they may not know something about cars. Thankfully, I do know a bit about cars, and he did NOT over charge me. Trust me, you can trust these people. I have spoken to one of the owners a few times, and he is very polite and upfront about everything they do. Now if only they can get a banner placed up at Ironwoods football field, maybe more people will see how amazing they are! As long as I live near H-1, I will bring our car there for service. Thanks Honest-1...The world needs more auto care shops like you!

They got my car in super last minute and did everything they could to get me fixed up for an incredible price and got me back on my way in a day! I came home to Phoenix to visit my family and on my way down, got a hole in my oil pan. So David, one of the mechanics, worked really hard to find me a replacement oil pan in my price range and fixed it all in a day so I could head back from my visit safely! They really know how to take care of their customers and do the best they can to help you for the most affordable price!

Today I went in for an alignment on my car because I had recently put a set of coilover suspension on my car. Jesse (the owner) was super friendly and helpful! He went out of his way to take my car back and do it himself so I could get out of there quickly! It really shows the character of this institution! Needless to say, if you need ANY mechanic work take your car to the guys at Honest 1!

Visited for visual inspection. Staff is friendly, right on point w what problem was, semi clean for auto shop but could use some sanitizing in kids area.Only thing made me turn away is bit pricey. Defiantly overcharge on there parts and labor. If they were bit more competitive they would had my business.

Frankly, they dont even deserve one star based off of my experience.I took my mustang in to get the AC checked late this summer and was told that the bill would be larger than I could currently afford. That was unexpected but not a big deal. I told them that Id have to wait for a few months and return. Fast forward to today and I just noticed that they had removed the shield that rests over the top of my radiator... and apparently never put it back. How is that even possible?! How do you forget to put something like that back on a car?! Its nearly the entire length of the front bumper... so surely someone HAD to notice a huge plastic shield just sitting around the shop. Why didnt they call me to admit their mistake once they saw it?On top of that, once I took my car in, my dash board started showing a engine maintenance needed icon. Ive owned my car for all but 12 miles on the odometer and not ONCE has that light ever come on.I will NEVER return to this place. Im so pissed at their lack of professionalism that I can barely see straight.

Always have a good experience when we have our vehicles serviced or repaired.

I brought my car to honest1 initially on December 26th for repairs. The folks were friendly and informative and performed the work in a timely manner, the vehicle was picked up on Monday, January 6th and I was pleased with my experience. The following morning I started the vehicle and noticed a tick/rattle from the area where the work was performed. The noise would clear up after a few seconds and I would just let it go, I had just been without my vehicle and needed it for work and even though there was a noise there werent any symptoms of an impending failure. In hindsight, addressing this issue on the spot would have saved a lot of frustration. That day, after leaving work while traveling at highway speeds on the I10, the vehicle shuts off and the passenger compartment is overcome by the smell of raw gasoline. I pulled over and opened the hood to find the fuel line to my intake manifold had popped off and sprayed gas over the top of the engine. The intake manifold was removed in order to perform the initial work. There is a green locking collar on the fuel line which was never clipped back into place. Fortunately for me I was able to fix it on the side of the road and in the spirt of good fortunes, the vehicle never caught fire. Fast forward to the following Friday. Im returning to the house after a couple of errands before work the serpentine belt comes off and Im stranded on the side of Greenway. The belt was replaced in the initial repair. I called Honest1 and they towed the vehicle to the shop and replaced the belt again under warranty. I also raised concerns about the noise from the pulleys and the fuel line. I was issued no apology for any of the inconvenience and in regards to the issue with the noise and the belt being thrown I was told additional parts MIGHT need to be replaced and to monitor the situation and told the first belt might have been defective. Reluctantly I took the advice from the professionals and took the vehicle, instead of having the other parts replaced. Yesterday on I-17 this belt was thrown and I was stranded again on the side of the interstate during rush hour traffic. I had the vehicle towed to the collision shop where I work ASAP because I was creating a huge hazard for other drivers. I called Honest1 again and they agreed to do more warranty work and agreed to tow the vehicle from my place of employment to their Glendale location and refused to pay for the tow from I-17 which I do not feel responsible for due to the fact that this is all related to the problems Ive been having with the initial repair. Needless to say I refused and will have another shop perform complete repairs.

These guys are the best! I dont have to worry about where Im going to take my car next time anything goes wrong. Price check all you want even if they are a couple dollars more than other places I still get the work done here. Trust worthy guys all around. They back up their work with an amazing guarantee thats impossible to turn down. I will never take my cars anywhere else for as long as I live here. Keep up the great work Jesse!

I went in there to get an alignment and they hit me with all sorts of issues that werent even issues, and then refuse to give me an alignment on top of that. Not to mention I walk in there with a working radio and leave with no radio at all, now I got one more issue to fix. I wouldnt recommend this place you will only leave here with a more bank injury than MC hammer.

After being told by other auto shops my car needed thousands in repairs, the guys at Honest 1 actually looked at my car first and fixed all the issues for a quarter of the price by not trying to up sell me and do more work than was needed. I would recommend them to anyone.

*** Updated ***Visit 1: Even though I had an appointment for Thursday, and they promised me the work to be done Friday, I had to take the vehicle on a trip Friday. I brought it in a day early as I had a conflict on Thursday and they managed to squeeze it in and finished by end-of-day Thursday. They did more than we had initially agreed AT MY REQUEST, and were very kind to me on the bill afterwards. When presented with the bill, my head bobbed up and down like a bobblehead and I cheerfully paid.Visit 2: Needed rear axle seal replaced on Dana 44/M226. I called the shop and asked if they had the seals as what I read online made this look like a hard job. Yes, no problem. I had a leak on the driver side, and they quoted me a really reasonable price - $250. I said do both sides. They tore apart the passenger side and found out they dont have the seals. Neither does Nissan. But Nissan has complete axle assemblies, and the shops cost was over $1000, and after adding markup and labor, Im looking at $3000. Fortunately for me, they found a post online that gave part numbers for the seals and bearings and they got it all put together and charged me $1000, for what they quoted me $500.Reading the Field Service Manual on how to install the bearings and talking to the shop about how they did it, they didnt follow the FSMs directions for bearing installation. Now I have no faith that the bearings will last.Post visit 2: They put in 75w-90 diff fluid. Owners Manual calls for 75w-140. No, Im not taking it back for them to fix - doing it myself.Stars reduced from 5 to 2 due to the rear axle debacle.
