Closest thing you can get to a New York bagel in Arizona. Always fresh and a great selection of high quality cold cuts. I typically get the toasted everything bagel with Nova Scotia salmon, capers, red onion, tomato, cream cheese. Just delicious! Oops, now Im hungry for it!

Ive been coming here for 12 years. Ive always loved this place. Great food, and great employees, Unfortunately, over the past year or so, there have been some issues that have come to light. The first of which, albeit understandable given the supply chain issues, would be the prices. Prices have been increased by approx. $1.00 - $1.50 for their most popular breakfast sandwiches. I just find it hard to justify paying $7.00 for a bagel, one egg, slice of cheese, and 2 slices of lunch meat/bacon/sausage patty. Additionally, and arguably my biggest gripe with this location, has to do with the employees. Im not sure what the culture is amongst employees, but from this customers perspective, it appears to be a bit volatile. Multiple times Ive witnessed employees arguing with each other. Recently, I mentioned to one of the veteran employees of this location that my order had been prepared incorrectly. Her immediate response was, No, you said that you wanted this. That really was the last straw for me. While there is certainly a possibility that I misspoke, her response was hostile and absolutely not one that should be said to any customer. Regretfully, I will be driving to the Happy Valley location, from now on.

Quality bagels and quality people. I love coming here in the mornings, the food is super fresh and their tea is great. I highly suggest stopping here for your breakfast or lunch

I love hot bagels. Customer service is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. I visit these guys every week. Definitely recommend their chorizo burritos and chocolate chip bagels. Their donuts are pretty amazing as well if you can get one before they sell out.

Ever since I started eating here in 2017, I have been absolutely hooked! Literally the BEST bagels and cream cheese you’ll ever have. I live in Tempe now, but I still make the 60 mile round trip drive every other weekend for my asiago bagel with strawberry cream cheese. On my off weekend, I swear I dream about these bagels. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

Great bagels…. BUT….Is it really worth waiting 30 minutes in line for a dozen bagels OR when you drive from a long distance and The Bagel Man is out of bagels and he refuses to make more. Not the best business practices!! I think he should sell his business to someone who will care about the customers and put them first, not themselves!!

Ordered the pastrami bagel sandwich, liked the bagel. Hated the pastrami, flavorless, really ruined the sandwich overall, will have to try a bagel, not a sandwich. Was extremely clean. Staff was cleaning as I ate. Staff was friendly as well.

Fantastic bagels, size and flavor. Leagues above Einstein’s bagels quality. If you get a bagel with cheese cheese(which is highly recommended) they don’t skimp on the spread. No doubt amazing. I’ll be flying back to try their lunch menu as it looks just as good as this breakfast was!

Our favorite bagels of all time. Ive ordered quite a few times via the online ordering system and its been perfect every time. My friend gets a plain bagel with sausage, bacon, egg and cheese. I get a flavored bagel with plain cream cheese. Each one is delicious and completely what you want when you eat a bagel.

These bagels are fresh, tasty, and all around amazing! There are many different choices of flavors, toppings, and spreads including sandwich combinations and other assorted pastries. It gets a little busy in the morning so expect that, but it wont take long to receive your food. The staff is extremely quick and very kind, the coffee is hot and delicious.I will definitely be back to try different combinations and to enjoy more of that coffee!

This place used to be good with quality food and customer service but its no anymore. The workers... Making the food dont have their mask up. The manager was working with one glove and his other hand bare touching peoples food, then the counter and its just gross the lack of cleanliness and precaution is so gross. I also waited 25 minutes for a sandwich which I think is bad service especially when their is no acknowledgment of long wait times. Many people had on no mask while waiting for there food the workers only chose some people to tell to wear a mask but not all be consistent and more perfessional

Super yummy bagel! I ordered the Lox, eggs and onion on the Garlic bagel and yummy! It would of been out of this world with some kind of sauce but still very much worth it! Recommend this place. They were super busy but extremely fast!

Solidly middle of the road by NYC standards but... Why would you sell piping hot coffee (decent too!) And only offer half and half of some french vanilla thing as choice of milk??? I asked for milk - any type of milk - and they said they dont have it. I took the coffee black. This is unacceptable.

The only place Ive found in AZ that has bagels that are close to the kind I used to get backEast. The lox spread is fabulous! Whenever we have the need to get out to Glendale we stop in.

This restaurant is often crowded, and there are not always seats immediately available. Nevertheless, this is an indication of the quality of the food, the service, and the value. Most of the time, we do not have to wait for seating, but when we do, it is okay because the wait is worth it!

Found this place, because of Covid vaccine, we are from Scottsdale! They are amazing, the best of the best! We are from New York, so bagels and Chinese food is really bad here. Your bagels and Deli are amazing, you are 21 miles from us, and you are our go to from now on! CHEERS!

AMAZING. I swear Im addicted to the everything egg sausage & cheese breakfast bagel. They make their own cream cheese smears and have pretty much every bagel flavor known to mankind. Fast service, great prices, quality ingredients & delicious bagels & sandwiches. Youre doing yourself a diservice by not trying this place.

I ate half my bagel so they get at least two stars.This is my second time here. The staff is rude and unhelpful at all. The salmon was paper thin. Just overall a sad place to be.

Took my cat to the vet at 9am and while waiting, decided to get a bagel, egg and cheese sandwich and a cup of coffee at this establishment. Half an hour later, took my cat home. I started feeling bad right away and soon got violently ill with severe stomach pain and vomiting. It was definitely due to the food I had there, since I had not had anything else to eat that day. I would like my $7 back. I will not return to this place.

If your from NY, then you will love these. Boiled, then baked bagels.you can freeze them or get it toasted. Also great sandwiches with boars head.

Bacon, Egg and Cheese on a plain Bagel and a Large Iced Tea... What more does one need for the start to a perfect day? Food is fresh, made to order right in front of you and the Tea is some of the best around. Good flavor from a clean and sterile pot. The staff is quiet but friendly, probably a good thing because the last thing I want 5am is a conversation. Hot Bagels Deli is consistent, I eat there several mornings a week and it never disappoints.

Best bagels in the NW Valley, no question. The bagels are made fresh daily and the cream cheese is layered on thick. Really good lox and breakfast sandwiches, too. Just dont get the coffee.

Simply amazing. Amazing simplicity. Ive been coming here for over 15 years as of writing this review (2019) and its one of my favorite secret places for a quick breakfast or lunch. Its amazingly affordable and so much cheaper than going to a sit down style restaurant. For breakfast, I recommend the sausage, egg, and cheese on a bagel of your choice (I like either the everything or garlic). Get the bagel toasted. (Bacon, egg, and cheese is also very good). For lunch, I recommend their Reuben sandwich.

Absolutely love this place! Amazing meats/cheeses from Boars Head for their sandwiches, A+ chicken salad. Great prices for hearty sized items. Line can get long but they hustle so you’re not waiting forever! I go at least once every week or so and EVERY year on my birthday because...I love it!

I absolutely love their breakfast sandwiches. However, I recently noticed that the girls that work behind the counter are not clean. They touch their hair and clothes while wearing gloves that they’re going to make your sandwich. I brought up my concerns to the owner privately and respectfully... and seemed like a very genuine guy. He said, “he’s told them multiple times to not touch the sandwiches/bagels without changing their gloves or when switching from the register and they don’t follow. I told him that I will continue to support and come there with the understanding that he will retrain the team. We’re in a COVID season and this is not acceptable. On Monday July 14th, I ordered eggs and cheese on a bagel. I found a curly hair in it. It almost made me gag. This is my “never again” moment. I tried. I advised. I continued to support. But this is simply unacceptable. (I would post a picture but too gross to share it).

Not all of the Hot Bagel places around town are equal. Love the size, taste, and chew of the bagels here! Actually made it a point to drive out from Surprise this morning just to have one!

My go-to breakfast bagel spot. I always get the same thing; everything bagel w/ bacon egg and cheese. Best everything bagel, best bacon, and considering how busy they typically are, the service is fast! Small dine-in area with a few tables out side. Been going here for years, and they will continue to be my bagel spot whenever the family and I are looking for a bagel for breakfast.

You cant get better bagels until youre on the other side of the Mississippi River. For real. These are the best bagels on the west coast. I look and look and look and theres nothing that even compares to hot bagels in Phoenix anywhere on the pacific coast or just inland, and I am sad. I dont know when Ill be in Phoenix next but Ill definitely be at hot bagels at least once a day when I get there.

Not nearly as hospitable or professional as the other the location, and the heffer land whale that is working the register needs to learn that here in the west, especially Arizona (open carry state) you really really want to have better manners. When the customer has to say good morning more than once and you dont return the greeting or have one at all, maybe a slap across the face would encourage a greeting of any sort, will NOT return to this location, and if l see that land whale at the other Ill stop going the too

Legitimately one of my favorite places in the valley and Ive been coming for over 10 years. I live in Phoenix now, but still make a point of stopping by when Im in the area and have even gotten friends from out of town or from the easy valley hooked.I pretty much stick to either plain or everything bagels, but switch it up by getting either cream cheese, bacon egg & cheese or the chicken salad (which is probably my favorite of all).Seriously the best.

Normally I get breakfast and pick up, so my order is usually amazing. Today I ordered lunch to my home and it got weird. The app did not ask for a cheese choice, so both sandwiches defaulted to American cheese. For a deli that serves boars head, this is weird and gross. What goes on a perfect bagel sandwich, a lunch sandwich does not make... anyway, the app also did not ask which condiments were desired, so we both got yellow mustard and mayonnaise. This is disgusting unless ordered specifically. We also were shorted a 7up. Dont order from here. If there is no cheese other than American I suggest only going for breakfast. Really disappointed.

Been awhile since Ive gone here and honestly it used to be a lot better. The bagels that I got today were anything--but round (more sguare than round) - couple of them were burnt they should have gone in the trash. None of them had anything that even resembles a hole in the center

I got a nail in my tire and had to wait for discount tire to patch it.I wandered across the parking lot in search of food and stumbled onto Hot Bagels&Deli.This place made me the most authentic and delicious philly cheesesteak that Ive tasted since moving here from the east coast 32 yrs ago.Its far from my home in Surprise, but close to my dentist, so Ill be looking forward to my next dental appointment, after which Ill be over at Hot Bagels&Deli, YUM.Even flat tires and dental visits have a silver lining 😁

Everything is delicious! The prices are super reasonable. All of the food is very high quality. The turkey club on an everything bagel is 👌, my standard order. I will drive 20 minutes out of my way to eat here.

Its a little better than average - for a sandwich shop. Bagels and bread ar decent, but not really big enough to shout about. If you like Gyros, do not go here. Go down the road to Als Gyros. They are the bomb

The greatest place to get a breakfast bagel! The portions are large and price is actually appropriate. $5 for a bacon, egg, cheese and cream cheese with a soda or coffee is definitely affordable. Not only that, but the food is delicious as it is all made right in front of you with real eggs. I highly recommend Hot Bagels!

Great bagels, quick service! Line was almost out the door when we got there Saturday morning and we stood in line for no more than 5 minutes. Had our food in probably less than 5 more. We usually take it to go, in and out within 10 minutes total. We frequent this location or the one on 67th at least once a weekend.

Wish they sold boars head hummus since they carry boars head anyway. Not any vegan options otherwise. Besides that, the bagels are the best in phoenix by far. Small, can get crowded. But service/staff is wonderful!

First time here to swoop up some bagel from a place other then Einsteins. I have never made a better choice in my life, chomping on my huge delicious fluffy bagel right now actually. Ive never been so full from one bagel in my life, and cannot believe how one place manages to make a bagel taste so great.Will be going here 10/10 from now on. Sorry Einsteins!

House made bagels are fresh and delicious. Place is small and always pretty packed. Outdoor patio seating is nice and the location is easy to get to, right off the 101.

We used to visit Hot Bagels when lived in NJ. Now that I found there stores in the Phoenix area, its a must stop every time we go down to Phoenix from Prescott Valley. Same taste and quality as the NJ shops.

Hot Bagels is by far the best place to get breakfast. All the food is fresh and made after you order it, not to mention fairly priced. I usually go with the Bacon, egg and cheese toasted on an everything bagel and drink for just over $5. I highly recommend this hidden gem!

I have been going to this bagel shop for the last 5 years. I live in the area and have enjoyed the bagels for most of the time. Since the new point of sale system has been put into place the communication between the staff has seriously broken down. I have slowly reduced the amount I visits I make in a week until now. Today I tried for the 3rd time to get 3 bagels uncut and untoasted with cream cheese on the side. Yes today they continued to screw up the order by cutting all three bagels and toasting two of them. The third was not toasted and was stale, like maybe was toasted and cream cheese an hour ago and then served to me. I could not finish half of it. To hard and chewy. Not worth another chance for my business. If I could give no star I would. I have tried to mention this at the counter and Im met with a nasty glare. Unfortunate that they feel there is no room for improvement on customer service.

Great bagels. As an ex - NY/NJ area home owner, you cant get much closer to authenticity of a NY bagel than this. A bit pricey on certain items. Also have Taylor Ham. Another NJ staple.
