First of all, I had my hair colored yesterday and it was not done properly and it looked terrible. I called late yesterday and explained. I was treated very kindly and told exactly when to come in to have it redone. I met with Jenny today and she fixed it and did an amazing job.

I dont know if her name is Shannon or Cynthia. I think its Shannon but shes the only redeeming hairstylist. I should have waited for her but she went to lunch just as we got there. I remember faces but I dont remember the ladys name I got. Id never seen her before but I havent gone here in over six months.I wanted a cut and my bangs trimmed with the ends evened out. The lady that washed my hair didnt even bother to comb my hair all the way to the ends before she started hacking away at my hair. She cut it shorter than I asked and later I find out, uneven. I have three large pieces of hair longer than the rest. She didnt even trim my bangs, she was too busy talking to the other coworker next to me. She took some of my hair that was not my bangs and cut them to match on the sides where my bangs are slightly longer. I kept hoping Id like it at the end but I didnt. She is now the reason Im completely over this place. I know it wasnt Michelle because I avoided her too, shes given me uneven trims and doesnt know how to cut bangs well.

Great experience! I couldnt check in online, but I let them know I was coming, I walked in about 30 minutes later, and within 3 minutes, my daughter was taken in for her hair color. April did a fantastic job on Saras hair, so I decided to get my haircut as well. Michelle did a fabulous job on my hair too

I always get my hair cut here and Ive always had a good experience. Especially since Ive found Cynthia there! She is a great stylist and I will continue to use her for all of my haircuts!! Just awesome!!

The lady right behind the counter is lovely! was very patient with my sensitive to noise and touch boy, but the one right next to her was cutting kids hair in a bad mood, she didnt want to cut my 2nd childs hair and ended up cutting it anyways. He doesnt even cry and she didnt even try and left him super patchy as kids before him and it just wasnt done right. Dont let her cut your childrens hair she sure doesnt seem to like them and is rude!!Why be in this if youre not gonna want to cut childrens hair too go find somewhere where there arent children!

Twice I have gone here to get my hair cut. The first time I asked for long layers. I was told I didnt want long layers with curly hair but to say I wanted the weight taken off the end. I was not satisfied after getting home but didnt have time to get the touchup hair cut in a week.I just recently went back and said I wanted long layers with my hair to frame my face. This time I got short layers instead the long layers I requested. I wont be going back here anymore because I dont feel like the hair dressers take the time with each customer to make their hair fit their face. It seems like they all feel like they understand what you want but are just in a hurry to get the next customer in their seat.I have always loved fantastic sams but I wont be returning to this location anymore.

So this weekend I tried to get my hair cut from this place like 30 min before they closed and as soon as I walked in they said they was closed so I was like alright I might as well get subway and go home after i left subway I noticed a lady was cutting a girls hair when I walked by 10 min later. It’s very unprofessional to tell me it’s closed and then cut someone’s hair a few min later. I would of understood if it was appointment only but that wasn’t the case. It’s kinda sad as a guy to be turned away but the lady cute some girls hair a few min after me asking. Definitely won’t go again because I feel like it’s sexist that I didn’t get a hair cut because I’m a man.

I went to get highlights throughout my hair, I let the lady know Im a blonde so my hair lights really quickly. She didnt listen to me and left the processor on my hair under the dryer for over 30mins and completely fried my hair to the point it was falling out in chunks. I will never return to this salon and Ive been going here for years. I called them about it and they said put a deep conditioner if that dont work Ill have to chop off my hair where its fried. This wouldnt have happened at all if the lady would have listened to me in the first place. Id only give one star if I hadnt been a loyal customer for years getting my haircut there. I will never return.

Sid did an incredible job cutting my hair! He is patient and friendly, pays attention to detail, and knows how to make your hair look amazing. Definitely recommend you have him do your hair!

So I had taken my daughter to another salon to get her haircut and they butchered it. I ended up taking her this Fantastic Sam’s and they fixed it.

I went to this location today and I will definitely be going back! I had Jenny cut my hair and she did an amazing job. Exactly what I wanted even though I gave her such a vague description. I cant believe how happy I am with it. She was so friendly, from the moment I walked in the door, even though they were really busy! You wont regret it!

The last that cut my hair listened to what I wanted and followed my instructions. It always helps when they do what you like.

Told her what I wanted.. she asked if I wanted to spike it said no . I gel it and she said likw a comb over i said yes and then I ended up with a military cut. All the while taking no responsibility. This is her job not mine if what I was asking for was different than she should if explained it.. but like always customer is wrong and noone else takes accountability for their mistakes . Wobt ever go here again or let my family, or my friends either.. You cant admit you made a mistake at your job you dont get anything...

I would rate them a 0 if I could. Absolutely rude. I am new to getting my hair professionally done so I’m maybe my questions were silly to them or something. Wasn’t on the phone for 3 minutes and the absolute most rude people I’ve ever talked to had to be the ones the answer the phone. What is childish is when they chuckled at my questions when talking to each other because the First Lady forgot to put me on hold...

Staff is very friendly. Received a great haircut I couldnt rate 5 stars only because I thought it could look a little more clean. The sign outside was dark at night also, but otherwise, pleased.

Paid $198.98 for the worst highlights I have ever had. My hair is destroyed, I will have to get a foot cut off to get it healthy again. I went to the website and submitted a contact us to speak with a manager and got no repsonse. For that cost, go to a better salon.

I have gone here for a couple of years. Ive been happy with Michelle and April at the Glendale and 55th ave site. They put out coupons every now and then to get a couple of dollars off. (Comes in the junk mail) I would recommend to try them.

I was in there about a week ago and my daughter shes 13 wanted her eyebrows waxed for such a long time the last time you went in the guy I believe his name is Mike did it and he did a fantastic job he was thorough and they looked amazing I got mine done as well ... well me and my daughter were going back last week to get her eyebrows waxed and I want to say her name the shell shes a heavier-set lady her shes got like a big purple or blue hair she wears glasses not sure if thats her name anyway she put so much wax on my daughters eyebrow the first eyebrow and took off half her eyebrow I was so angry my daughter was so sad and she sitting here telling me if thats the way its supposed to be no it wasnt bottom line is you messed up and I really dont think we should have had you paid for that because you clearly screwed up her eyebrows will I be back I dont know Mike dinner eyebrows the last time I believe that too it was it was a guy and he was fabulous Im sorry I will not let that lady touch my eyebrows or my daughters ever again she needs to learn how to do it correctly she put wax on top on the bottom on the sides all at once and my mouth is dropped Im like the wax is dripping it was getting so with getting over her entire eyebrow... Bottom line is I was not happy with that he should not have had to pay for that eyebrow waxing and after my daughter was gone I refuse to let her touch my eyebrows I said nope we got to go get your brother... LOL Ive gotten my haircut there before great job my son loves it there he gets his haircut there all the time but that one ladys needs to learn or get trained again do not let her touch your eyebrows if you go in there to get that done just a little tip

So, here I was with this somewhat long hair that was being relegated to the pony tail look and my hair is also difficult to style as well as its arrow straight. I put some deep thought into cutting it all off and I came here. Originally, I was going to have this one lady named Jenny cut my hair as she had given me a new do a little while back and I really liked it and now it had grown out and I wanted a new look. When I got here it was busy and there wasnt a lot of time left so the lady told me Jenny was busy with a client and I asked her who was able to do short hair cuts really well and she said. Tori and she was with a client as well. So, I said whoever finished first was who i would have cut my hair and it was Tori. II will say I was somewhat nervous because i was taking a leap of faith cutting it all off but Tori really did a nice pixie cut and I had no regrets or that dread feeling of what if it goes wrong. Ive gotten many compliments from both men and women and having my hair this short saves me so much time. I never have a bad hair day--in fact I think I would have to purposely fix it badly to have a bad hair day lol! Nonetheless, I would highly recommend Tori and Jenny to do your do. You wont be disappointed thats for sure!

Usually I am happy with the results, this time not so much. The cut wasnt as good and Im not in love with the color either. But thats the good thing about hair, it grows back & you can always change the color. The stylist could have just had an off day...it happens to the best of them!

I had called in advanced to ask about bleaching/coloring an was told they could do it in one sitting. Got there and the stylist argued with me saying I had color in my hair, which I did not, it was lightened but no color was added. She was very hateful and unprofessional. I left, went a few doors down to the hair shop in Walmart and got what I wanted done for 13.00 less than the price quoted by Fantastic Sams.

I have not been to this salon on northern for years not to many fantastic sams open anymore now I know why I finally went in last weekend and met a new hairdresser who did an awesome excellent job she knew what she was talking about and doing i called to go in to get more highlights today and you idiots let her go. Came in 10 mins before closing. Went in, not much of a greet.. the lady who attended me seem like she didnt want to be there. Anyways got a haircut and wash. Didnt use a neck strip, Didnt mention what shampoo she used. Didnt ask me for a wash, I asked her. She cut my hair great... But her attitude or something was off. After the cut she took off cape without asking if the cut was okay, for my security, She forgot to put some product in my hair like serum... So I asked her to put some. Agian she didnt mention what she was using. Sad because she didnt recommend what I needed. Especially coming in with a flaky scalp, dead ends. She checked me out. I had to walk myself alone to buy shampoo/conditioner liters.(recommending to my own self.) She now all of a sudden smiled... (Oh cause Im Buying product you didnt recommend). I also grabbed a nourshing serum. The products there are awesome. As an assistant manager of a salon, I can say the stylist probably wont hold retention with clients, she is not educating or recommending what a client may need to have better self care. This place messed up my hair in the past, but I figured Id give it another try. The haircut I just got today the guy cut my hair completely wrong, not how I explained it at all. Now I have to deal with it until it grows back and I can find a better place.Not coming back here again.

Did not wash either of my daughters’ hair, but still charged me full price for two kids cuts. The cut was okay at best.

Disappointed this time around always come here and get pretty good results, i bring in pictures of what my girls wanted today and the stylists said ok no problem. When all is done i said thats nothing like i said i wanted and nothing like the picture. All i got back was thats the best i could do. Well at least she was honest i paid and left very unhappy i will not be returning.
