The store had no candles in it. The the shelves were empty except for maybe 10 at the very most. The employees said they had not received their shipment yet. It looked like they had not received more than one shipment. I received a coupon in August and September advertising the new fall scents. When I was in the store in August and yesterday they did not have the new fall scents. I ended up buying my Yankee candles in the new fall scents at Walmart. The employees at Yankee candle offered to order my candles online, the only problem is how can you order a candle you have never smelled? Also due to me having a job any candle ordered when it is over 100 degrees outside would maybe melt since it would be sitting outside all day until I came home from work. I also let the employee know that I dont think its a good idea to order in this heat. She was very rude its not that hot out.

Always some thing new in store. LOVE EVERYTHING. Wish I could have all candles. :)

The other day I went to Yankee Candle to use my buy 3 get 3 free coupon and they were closing in 5 min. The sales lady at the store asked if I already knew what I wanted and I told her I knew I wanted pink sands because they were sold out and some fall and Christmas scents. She let me in the store and got pink sands of the shelf and asked which fall scent I wanted and I told her I did not remember the name of it she sighed in frustration at me. I was so upset and felt like I was a burden for her so I told her to don’t even worry about it and left the store. I am a mom of twins and I rarely get to get out and the one day I do i was so excited to go get more candles for my home, I was treated so rudely at one of my favorite stores. Yankee candle obviously does not want my business anymore.

Hello!I wanted to reach out about a recent experience I had in the Yankee Candle store at Arrowhead Mall in Phoenix, AZ.I ordered candles online and received a shipment of them.  I had never tried 2 of the candles I ordered (same scent) so I lit one as soon as I got home. I let it burn for a little while (maybe 30 minutes) and decided I didnt like the scent. I looked on my receipt reguarding a return and decided I would return them to the store. I walked into the store and Tracey (I believe is a manager) assisted me. I told her I wanted to return the candles and I felt like she had an attitude with me right away. I asked how much I had to spend in the store (based on my return) and she said it was a candle for a candle. I started asking about getting something else and she interrupted me and said again a candle for a candle so I began looking in the store at the Woodwick candles. She then said the candles you want to exchange for are on the other side of the store I go i dont really want those since I didnt like my candle, I would rather get something else. She rolled her eyes at me and I go actually it said on my receipt that I can get a refund. Let me just do that she rolled her eyes at me again and sighed. She asked what I didnt like and I explained. I said I like the woodwick candles a lot more. She told me I could grab one but we were already in the middle of my refund and I felt very upset about our interaction so I said that I would just go with the refund. She kept insisting and I said no. She sighed again and said something to her coworker when she turned around. When I first came in I was planning on exchanging the candles and buying some holders and a few white elephant gifts but her really bad attitude changed my mind. I stayed calm the entire time and thanked her for her help but I now have a horrible taste in my mouth reguarding Yankee Candle. If I had a large business like this I wouldnt want someone like this representing my company in anyway. I would look into retraining this store asap.

Super amazing customer service by Courtney and Katie. Just went in to by a quick candle for my roomie. They were both super sweet, offered theyre help, wrapped my candle and sprayed it with a great mist. Even it was a quick experience, I truly felt special. Thank you both. ig: @angelepatino

I had went to Yankee Candle a few weeks ago and they were sold out on my wifes favorite scent. She went back to the store the other day and was treated very rudely. She hasnt been out to the mall in awhile and assumed the stores would close at 9pm but they now close at 7pm. It was 5 minutes until closing and the sales associate would only allow her in if she new exactly what she wanted. My wife did not know the name of the Fall scent she had initially gotten and the associate was very frustrated and my wife decided to leave without buying anything. We will not be purchasing from Yankee Candle again.

Very disappointed. I grew up in Massachusetts and have been buying Yankee Candles for as long as I can remember. Now living in Arizona I recently purchased candles online. I had 3 candles burning and could not smell them. What happened to their amazing scents? Since Michael Kittredge sold the company its gone downhill. In the future I will buy from Kringle Candle.

Where shall I start? Employee (short, stubby, dark hair, mean) had a very foul attitude and very pushy. We felt like we weren’t wanted In the store as soon as we walked in. Over priced candles . I would never recommend this place to any body not take myself or any one else there. VERY rude. This place needs to be shut down! If I could give 0 stars I would.

Love this place. Go here every time I visit the mall. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A big selection to choose from. Very clean. Plus you cant beat the prices or sales they have!
