Same issue as Danny LowMy girlfriend and her mom ordered phones in store to be delivered to the store. They never got notified that the phones got delivered so they went in. Store said that only 1 phone was ordered even though they has initial invoice of 2 phones so pretty obvious they sold it upon getting it. So they had to order the other phone, phone that was delivered had to stay there because they were told that since they were ordered together they had to be picked up together. So they left 1 phone behind. We all went in today, ordered phone arrive but oh guess what....1st phone is no longer there!?Clearly associates dont care about customer ordered phones and will sell them to whoever.Why were they never alerted that phones received? Why are they going into the store safe getting reserved phones to sell!?
This was by far the best customer service I have had from Verizon. I went in needing some items for my new phone and the staff went above and beyond to save me money. I would highly recommend. Really just a lovely experience and I will be back.
I would put one star but I put two because the guy who helped my family and I was really nice. Save yourself the trip and find another store because this one is a disaster. We went to switch over my plan and literally had to jump through hoops just to do it. Calling all these people took about an hour. My family wasn’t offered a receipt so they couldn’t do the warranties they had received with their new phones without it. I was eligible for an upgrade and agreed to wait the 2 weeks it took just to get the phone I wanted. When the day came, I had to call them back 3 times just to make sure they had the phone I ordered before I drove all the way out there for nothing. They would say they’d call me back in a certain amount of time and just forgot or something so I had to call back. They said somebody should’ve called me to tell me they had my phone. They ended up finding out nobody put my information on the phone I specifically ordered so they accidentally sold it to someone else. They said they would call me in an hour to see if they can order it for me and I never got a call back. I’m just disappointed because it’s not the part timers fault they weren’t trained correctly and the managers should be teaching their employees how to communicate with each other.
Today I had the best phone buying experience PERIOD. I was greeted right away with a warm and friendly welcome by Evan V, I explained to him what I was looking to do and he made sure to ask all the right questions from there on out. Ended up leaving with a new phone for myself and my son. The experience was seemless! He was kind, patient and knowledgeable. This location will take care of you. Definitely recommend 👌
Today I came into the Verizon store on 5849 w northern ave and when I got here I had some issues that victor and the manager of this store Alex helped me with and I walked out very happy. I can’t thank them enough. We live three hours away from the nearest Verizon store and I will come to this store every time I want to buy a phone, or have any trouble at all with my phone. No joke, staff here really makes you feel as unwanted as humanly possible. My old pixel phone stopped working and I went to this location to see what my options were. I came in Sunday after work and asked about getting a Galaxy s21 ultra. As expected, the store didnt have any in stock, but was advised that one would be brought over the next day for me. I agreed and waited until the next day. Monday, I walked in after work, excited to pick up my s21 ultra. Well the sales associate advised me that the manager went to pick up the phone earlier. So I asked when the manager would return. He informed me that he actually called out for the day and the phone wouldnt be available until the next day.... by this point, I had enough. The associate was clearly lying to me, so I went to Best Buy to see if they had the phone. Sure enough, they had plenty. But they wouldnt be able to trade an old phone for credit and that I would still have to visit a Verizon store.... today, day 3, I walked into the Verizon store with my new phone in hand and an old phone for trade in. I laughed when I asked the associate if the s21 was at the store... he informed me the phone was not in stock... these guys are liars and will pull your leg, every step of the way. I would shop at other authorized retailers for your device needs, first. Im so close to switching providers because of this experience.
Granted I know you are authorized dealer for Verizon I would just hope that I could get some help from a neighborhood store and not the conglomerate that Verizon seems to be. If youre going to be a standalone company maybe the employee should be well versed on what they are trying to sell or what they are talking about. I had the best experience with buying an iPhone and a Apple Watch with Frank. He was upfront with all of the prices and offers and he did not pressure me at all. He even helped me set up my new accounts and answered all of my questions.
Do not buy here. They are overpriced and will give you a package deal that sounds great at the time but is very overpriced. I was charged “set up and go fees” for three lines (two phone upgrades and a tablet that I immediately returned) at $ 19.95 each.When I asked why I was being charged those fees, I was told that those are Verizon’s fees and that they could not delete them. I was told to talk directly to Verizon and to request that Verizon delete those fees.Imagine my surprise when the Verizon customer service rep told me he couldn’t delete those fees because they were NOT Verizon fees but were the “resellers” fees.The sales person also brought out accessories and a Galaxy tablet. which at first was free. I stated that I didnt need it but would check with a family member since it wasnt going to cost anything. I was also told there would be no problem returning it. When I got home, I saw that this free tablet was actually over retail at $330. Not only that but an extra line was added to my Verizon account specifically for the tablet which I definitely did not request or need.Although I could and did return it (unboxed) the salesperson neglected to inform me that there would be a $40 restocking fee. Had I’ve been told that upfront, I never would have even considered taking it out of the store. When I returned it, they refused to refund the $40 restocking fee and again told me to talk to Verizon directly about the fee being refunded.When I called Verizon customer service about the set up and restocking fees, the Verizon customer service rep told me that none of these were Verizon” fees but were the resellers fees and that Verizon couldn’t do anything about it. So much for full disclosure.Im usually a very cautious shopper so shame on me for being taken. I am now out $100 in worthless, extra fees.Be very careful where you shop and always go directly to a Verizon “Corporate” store and not to this Verizon reseller.
We normally do business over the phone because every single time we walk into a Verizon store we have had extremely bad customer service this time was completely different this store deserves to be praised for their great customer service!

Horrible service 3 times in one week said they couldnt transfer my husbands broken phones contacts, apps, etc because they have no customer service skills and basically walked away. The waits are ridiculous they show no urgency in getting the customers needs done as quickly as possible to be able to take the next customer its like they deliberately do everything at a snails pace so you leave in frustration and go to another store... This place sucks

Victor was very kind and highly knowledgeable in all my 200 questions about different products. I did not want to get a new phone as the process is sometimes long and a waiting game. Our process was very smooth and not painful. Not all stores have been this way but he went above and beyond to help.
If you go to this location ask for Lexi or Juan and you will receive the best customer service. Stay from the short guy with the 2 toned hair. His name started with F. He could care less about helping you. Whenever I asked him a question he would say call *611. I was trying to buy a smartphone for my 80-year-old mother and he did nothing to help. I finally left the store and ordered online. when I came in to pick up the phone in person Lexi helped me out and she fixed all of this guys mistakes. When I had to come back to get accessories for the phone Juan was able to help my mother transfer her contacts from her very old not so smart phone to her brand new smartphone. It was something that he had never done before due to the type of phone that my mom had. But he spent 20 minutes figuring it out. Kudos to Lexi and to Juan.
They are doing best they can with the amount of employees on the floor. I am not happy with the company doing alot of online business as much as they can. I dont like that part of the operation. Seem less careing I like the face to face conversation with a living person.
Lady with the short hair was behind wonderful. One of the best multi-taskers I have seen. My family stood by impressed with her work to serve each customer while helping 3 others simultaneously.

Honestly, I was stoked to switch to Verizon. Their reception is excellent. However, Wish I would have gone to a different store. Alexis was very friendly and helped me set up my phone plan. Unfortunately, their staff dont advertise their phone promos correctly and quoted me something incorrectly. With the information she had provided I chose a phone that I didnt even want, Just for the promo. Turns out she quoted the promo wrong so I didnt get any deal and ended up with the phone I didnt even want. Super bummed about that and Hope no one else gets screwed over. I dont know how they have their staff out here quoting people a thousand dollars off just to sell phones and then not making it right..

All and all good experience. Was sold more extras than were necessary. Unnecessary car and wall charger. Phone comes with a charger, 2nd one wasnt necessary. Didnt realize phone came with a charger till I got home and opened the box. Old phone was on the verge of totally dead, leaking battery, and I was so happy to get right in and the help I got transferring to new phone that I really wasnt paying as much attention as I should have to the peripherals.
The guy helping us was very kind and helpful. Traded in my old phone and watch for the new note 20 and active 3 watch. Super happy and cant wait to get everything all synced up

Hands down the worse Verizon in Arizona, I have lived all around and have never experienced this horrible service. I have waited for over an hour and still havent been helpped and the people waiting in front of me have been waiting for an hour and a half. I have seen over 4 differnt families leave the store. The employees didnt even say anything to anyone, the literally dont care. Dont recommend this location, go to other location it will be more worth your time. Place us also dirty, like come on now you cant even keep your store clean lol.
When I called to make appointment nobody answered. So I assumed they were busy. I needed si card and went there anyway. I arrived at 545 pm on a Thursday only to see that is was completely shut down for business not a soul in sight..Cmon Verizon I pay top dollar for my phone service .extremely disappointing this going into my list of reasons why u should change providersIf I could give less than 1 star I would

This place ripped off my mother by selling her devices she didn’t need. She tried to take the devices back the next day. They refunded a small portion of the money. They stole $600 from her and stole her old phone. Do not go to this store!! It is not a Verizon store!!

In the past Verizon has helped me with claims. Now they refused. Told me to do so online. Online Verizon asked for my code from a text I was sent. The text said dont give it out. This store refuses to assist me with my claim and gave me a website to use. I did. They dont have the phone and tell me I have to pay 200. Plus payoff my old phone and I have to get 5G service now. I pay a lot of money for my phone and internet service and for insurance thats worthless if they wont replace my phone. I only got it a year ago. Edit: I get a response from someone claiming to be Verizon with an unknown email and phone number. This happened to me with another retailer already and it wasnt that retailer. I logged on the account to respond instead of replying and the retailer said it was not him asking me the question. I venture to guess this response isnt really from Verizon either. If you are as you claim you would straighten out your retail office and allow me to file there. ASURION is telling me to go to a library to download an affidavit to sign. The affidavit wont open for me. So I cant file my claim. And another point. Im positive its not safe to do this with the covid-19 running wild. My household has already lost family to the virus. Several family and friends have it. Its not worth it. I need my phone though so I still need to resolve thisI just havent figured out how to do it.

I feel like I get hustled every time I come here. I never save any money no matter what “deal” they’re promoting and I’m always convinced to buy more than I actually need. Customer service comes second to making sells/commission
One star is too high! Hard enough during covid to get into a store but this customer service was non existent. First appt at Bell Rd store canceled day before appt. Made second appt at this store,two weeks after receiving phone. Got to store with 4 clerks inside. Needed normal assistance activating phone and transferring content. Also wanted to purchase screen protector and case. Clerk said he could only activate and suggested Best Buy for any other help. Absolutely ridiculous. Spending thousands on phones and monthly service and this is how they handle customer needs? Expected one on one service as specified in email. Offered the least amount of help outside of using chat function, which is also useless. Will probably be looking for new cell company soon.
Wasnt sure what I wanted but the rep was able to get me in the right direction and help my bill stay under a certain amount. I will go back when I need a new phone.

I bought a Note10 (a big change from my old Note2). Marcos was wonderful. He was very sweet & patient, especially since I havent bought a new cell phone for 15yrs. Verizon has excellent employees. My experience ordering a new phone at this location was overall great! I did run into difficulty contacting the store via phone and wasn’t getting a clear answer if my phone had been delivered or not. But, once I went in-store to pick up the service was great! The associate was extremely helpful and made everything was transferred over correctly.
Went here to upgrade my phone and keep my same phone number and same plan. I told the lady there that I wanted to pay for the phone in full same day. She told me that I couldn’t pay for the phone outright and I had to be on a plan where I made monthly payments. Also couldn’t keep my phone number. She said I could pay most of it today but leave like $100 left and make monthly payments on that. I was able to do this with Verizon previously so I know it sounded fishy. I told her I’d think about it, and I drove to the Verizon on 32nd and Peoria. I told them same thing and the gentleman said I could pay for the phone outright but I couldn’t keep the same number because of some changes with the plan. They were extremely helpful an I spent an hour with them helping me set up my phone and buy a case and all that. just sad that the other Verizon lied. I wouldn’t recommend.

Very patient and explained everything to me.As far as the customer service goes, awesome!This phone, however, Im not sure about because I have to press on the letters harder than Im used to. Especially the letters that are close to the edge. They are making me wished I didnt get this phone.

Really nice people in there. I needed a new phone, as mine was pretty much dead. They explained everything to me that I could understand. They sold me a phone that just came out three months ago. It is a LG V60 5G. Nice phone. I have to continue to figure it out because I have always had galaxy S phones. S5, S7 & S9. So this is completely different from what I am used to. They bought out my moms contract on my phone tjst we got a at Costco. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a new phone. They threw in a USB type C for my mom and gave me a phone case free.

Only two people working here and about seven customers needing to be helped, the employees demonstrate no sense of urgency. They have no kiosk for payments, one customer spent an entire hour with just one customer even after they were completed. The deals I was mentioned over the phone when I called customer service vs what I got in store as well was very different, very upsetting experience, go to a corporate store is my best advise

Very unprofessional so disappointed my first time ever having this horrible experience with Verizon store got there at 6:30 pm not even a welcome from the three Verizon employees that were in the store waited for over a hour than at 7:50 pm one of the Verizon employe asked me if I had a QUICK QUESTION I explained to him a quick question now you want to ask me since you’re closing in ten minutes I told him I was in to upgrade my phone and he said that they don’t do that service in store .. would not recommend this store to anyone just a waste of you’re time very poor Customer service and even with the long wait they still won’t take care of your customer needs as a Verizon customer what a waste of money I pay over $200 a month for this kind of a service so sad and the store was disgustingly dirty

Updated 12.26.2019 - This location is terrible. I was told that I would receive products at no cost, because I had enough Verizon rewards points and then I get my bill and its $700. Not what I was originally told. I also paid over $500 in the store on this day, which I believed was going towards my devices...WRONG. Avery basically up sold me, kept me there for over three hours and then come to find out Im stuck with the cost of these devices and contracts on all of them! This IS NOT a VERIZON, it is a 3rd Party Vendor, so beware. I will never go back into a store without verifying it is a real VERIZON. Im not trying to be cheap, so please dont think money is my issue...my issue is that I didnt receive what I was told I was receiving. Had I been given the true information, I would have made an educated decision, but I was told these devices were free. Im actually paying $300 to return two of the so called FREE tablets, because they werent free at all and Id rather pay the disconnect fee than continue to pay on a 2 year contract. This store SUCKS!! OLD:Avery exceeded my expectations by far! I went in for a phone for my teenager and ended up with a new device for both my daughter and I. He was extremely patient and helped me lower my bill even with the addition of the new devices. This is why I’ve been with Verizon for over 12 years!
They lie to sell their plans and make money and they are not clear with their charges that they do, poor service and bad attention to each other

I put my mother on my Verizon account and got her a new phone. She went to this store and asked a gentleman named Frasico if he would help turn off her prepaid Verizon phone that she has had for 4 years. He refused to help her, he told her to call Verizon and do it herself. She is 80 years old and recently broke her hip and has to use a walker. If this is the kind of service Verizon offers their costumers them I am considering switching me and my family to another company
