Ran out of some makeup made a quick stop at sephora. Got some help from the girls working and was super happy.

Walked in with my baby just to get stared at and followed halfway through the store. Would have walked out but I was doing a favor for my sister.The cashier was polite though. But already having anxiety by going anywhere alone with your baby and being on alert for creeps following, sephora workers did not make me feel at ease or welcome.
From the time I walked in to the time I walked out, everybody was super friendly. Even though the place was busy, everyone stopped me to ask me if I needed help every 5 minutes. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood, it was refreshing!

I feel betrayed. I love the store but yesterday’s situation made me so mad.Before Christmas my purchase was more than 50$ I guess after tax. And I heard you guys do free make up with it. I asked in the front how it works and if I can book an appointment. So she asked for my receipt and after she checked it, she booked an appointment for me for the January. The store was super crowded and may she was new because she looked lost.Yesterday when I got my make up done, they asked what I want to buy . I said “not today” . And then they were like “oh you must buy products for more than 50$ at the same day” . I explained them the situation but they made me buy something even though I wasn’t going to at that point . I understand your rules but it is not my fault . they were following me until I buy something. I wish I wouldn’t even come for the make up. I felt upset. I would get more satisfaction if I would buy the same products with no pressure Than being pushed to buy. Usually I’m so happy whenever I go to you store, but not this time .
Great selection of items however just wish theyd carry more brands like Ulta. But the service is always great! Secially love their deals when they have em!

As always, Sephora is great! But the workers need to stop being so clingy to the customers. They ask if we need help, we say no thank you, they need to lay off at that point. These workers did not. For this, I should drop my rating but Im hoping thats not something they do all the time .
This location is one of the loveliest locations that I have visited while living in Southern California. Its perfectly tucked away inside of the mall, but its not hidden. The staff at the store Im very well-dressed, very well-mannered, and very helpful. They take Hospitality to the next level here. Parking is free on the weekends, please enjoy.

My friend and I went to the store and the same guy came up to us 4 times in the span of 10 minutes asking “if we needed help”. Then as we were walking around another 3 different people came up to us asking the same questions “if we needed help finding anything”. We were only there for about 10-15 minutes and I’ve never felt so uncomfortable. I knew what they were thinking, thinking that we were trying to steal and honestly I was offended that I was being followed and stared at the whole time I was there. I was just trying to take my time and look around but I felt pressured and uncomfortable so I bought the stuff I was looking at and left. So rude and very unprofessional.
Love this Sephora they have all the amazing brands and always super helpful!!! They always have what i am looking for and if they dont they always order it for me!!!

Horrible customer service. No one wanted to help. Associates were standing around talking to each other. No one was friendly. I will not be returning to this store. I will take my business elsewhere when shopping for beauty products.The associates at Nordstrom and Macy’s are much nicer and helpful.
I just stopped by to check on foundations.I got lucky and this young super nice girl reached me. Mariam was really competent in product choices and had an amazing calming wine. She was so sweet and so helpful. I hope every store would offer such great personal.Makes word of difference in our experience with the store.
Doing much better with customer service
My mom and I went here today and Sephora had the process down of letting people into the store down to a “T.” They were proficient with having a text notification sent to your device once they were ready to let you in instead of you forming a large line out in front of the sun which was very much appreciated. The staff outside was polite and organized in that they said the rules of going in not to touch the samples and ask services for help with any needs. The service was fast and a Wonderful experience. No sooner had I walked in and had been looking around I was asked if I needed help. When I stated my need they called to a specific person to help and took my name. About only a min later Marian (I’m hoping I spelled that right) came to my aid personally addressing me and was a STAR ⭐️! She not only listened to my one question and helped with that but answered a ton of my other concerns with my contour game. She could relate with my concern about the current setting powder I used and recommended a few from her experiences working with them and seeing the texture or material difference. She was highly knowledgeable and was happy to share her techniques in how she personally applies the products which made me feel hopeful in trying to apply my contour in that fashion. She recommended personnel she even liked viewing for makeup on YouTube which was great because they were similar to the persons I watched as well. On top of this she was able to diagnose my makeup concerns and also help out around the store too! She is a great asset to any company with her wonderful ability to multitask and use her expertise to give a knowledgeable and personal customer service! For a second it almost felt like getting makeup advice from a sister and it was just a really Wonderful day because of that experience and I just really hope the company knows that and sheds light on her work ethic! She also made my mom feel a little Extra special because she acknowledged her birthday with a little birthday freebie when my mom doesn’t even keep up with that for herself. It was so sweet because my mom came out of that store with a little smile like she won a surprise prize! Thank you thank you! It’s the little personal touch experiences we are truly grateful for and that’s why I’m leaving this review. Marian you Rock!! 🥳 And Sephora cleaned after ringing up every customer Awesome Awesome Awesome!!

Large, clean and professional staffs. Very helpful and staffs were aware of their products. Checkout has full staffs moving lines quickly. Returns are quick and no hassles. Bit of distance but its my go to place.
My experience here has been horrible. I only go there if I cant go anywhere else. I am in my fifties and the employees only seem to want to help ages 20-35. I have had many employees pass by me to help the younger girl who is behind me. This store is losing a lot of sales by ignoring a demographic that actually has the finances to buy high end products and be loyal. I prefer to take my business to a place that will answer questions and guide me to the correct products for my type of skin.
This is a very cool place. people are very helpful and want you to buy things and they will tell you to stop messing around if they think you are not buying anything and are just there to sample >$100 products. This is great. respectful because many people like myself make sephora lose their products. DO NOT DO THIS. respect them like you respect your father. then try on the yellow lipstick to reveal a secret brick in the ground. 200 characters? yes good

Met an amazing person named Jonathan who works in hair at this location but was very helpful and just warm and friendly. He was so easy to talk to and just overall a nice guy. I am usually discouraged from going to any makeup store or counter due to my lack of makeup knowledge and truth be told its overwhelming and intimidating. Jonathan put my fears to rest the minute he said Let me know if you need help with anything and dont be shy! Thanks for that.This Sephora location is like any other. Although, theres no way to distinguish the gentlemen that work there as they dont have uniform. It may be the same for all locations. I did feel as though the female staff at this location were not as friendly (except Jonathan) when walking around the store. Possibly because its at the Americana and they peg me for someone who goes in, gets samples and doesnt buy anything.Look for Jonathan because hes awesome!
Super Nice Staff
I was just in a lock down in the storage room of this sephora and the people that work there were amazing. They tried to keep everyone calm, handing out water and were wonderful!! Besides the fact that this is my favorite Sephora!!
I was in the line & one of the associates, her name is MARIA, she was too rude to me, cause I was accidentally in the wrong place to get line to enter to the store, and when she find out I’m in a wrong spot she started laughing to me instead direct me to the right line, her attitude was so annoying and I definitely won’t go back there.👎🏻

I absolutely loved Sephora a few years ago; this particular location is amazing and lively because it’s within the Americana. They carry a wide range of products and the set up is wonderful. However, their discounts are just not that good anymore when you take into account how much you have to spend to maintain that discount status. High end brands and department stores like Nordstrom and macy’s are beginning to offer 15% off to every customer, not jus those who spend a certain amount at Sephora.Sephora also doesn’t show customer appreciation at all; the workers are often apathetic and aren’t friendly when you ask for samples. They also often sound like they don’t know what they’re doing when they suggest items to you, especially skincare. The rewards are just awful and they often enclose the incorrect samples in online orders. Department stores may not have as wide a selection of makeup, but they offer generous free gifts and have better return policies so you can try out expensive products with peace of mind.
I went on a Sunday and it was super packed. I liked that I didnt initially feel pressured to buy anything. I had gone in with the desire to purchase from the Fenty beauty line. The first sales associate helped me, but she did also try and pressure me into buying one of milk cosmetic concealers. Which, Im not that surprised about since Sephora probably encourages their employees to push certain brands, but the second sales associate seemed more eager to help me find what I wanted and was able to help me find the right concealer for my skin type.
The store is good but it seems that a lot of Sephora consultant didnt know what to advise when coming with a question about certain products !!!!

Every time I go in this specific location, NO ONE wants to help me. No one asked if I needed anything and when I did ask, the lady seemed annoyed that I was asking her for help. These employees act like they are too good for anyone and all they are supposed to do is be helpful and nice to customers. They are not in the medical field saving lives, or helping the environment so why are they acting so high and mighty? I just dont understand. This is not just one time, this is EVERY time I go in. I think I will start taking my business to the mall to look for the same products they sell at Sephora. Ive already bought my favorite mascara at Macys and they treated me so much better! I dont even care about the points Ive saved up with my Sephora membership. Im done with Sephora.
Today all my idems I wanted to buy were out of stock. A real bummer. Sadly isnt the first time.

I really dislike this whole chain, every store Ive ever been to has the rudest, and thats if you can get anyone to help you, sales staff ever. They have crazy high prices and unless youre dressed up or have a Channel bag they wont give you the time of day! I wont go into any of their locations after trying about 4 different ones!
Stood around the fragrance section trying to get a staff members attention for 15 minutes. I gave up after that, and will happily give my business to Nordstrom next door where they actually give good customer service.

In the spirit of the affluent area, the clerks here will ignore you to no end if you do not walk in with a designer handbag and expensive clothes. I stood around, obviously looking for help for 10-15 mins. About half a dozen employees made eye contact with me and walked off before I could get words out of my mouth to help someone who looked better than me. Shouldnt judge outter appearance, I was looking very casual but I spend thousands of dollars at sephora each year and I was there to re-up on ALL my cosmetics which would have amounted to hundreds of dollars. I instead, got only what I specifically really needed and I will go to a different sephora for the rest because I felt really judged at this location. I rarely leave reviews if my experience is less than 4 stars but this bothered me.

Very bad customer service in shop and even online. I wonder how they can survive treating the customers that way. I was in a shop no one served me (potential buyer) and made orders online. Niw, more than a week my orders are shown pending and moreover some items already shown out of stock, but during 3 days they were in stock. Disappointed!!!!

Horrendous experience trying to return something in this store. The girl treated me like I was a fraudulent cheap scam. She asked a million questions and made me feel super uncomfortable. She wasnt happy with was she called my story and why I was returning the items. She called for other girls to help and before I knew it, there was four different employees staring at my husband shocked face, making sure it was really his ID they were using like when you are under 21 and you try to crash into a club. They were acting like cheap security guards. Horrible. And guess what I found out. When I called The Retail Equation, the third party company that Sephora uses to process any return, TRE explained me that the return was denied because of what SEPHORA input in their system. They have the option to flag the returns however they want. They can put that the products were used, they can input that the returns seem fraudulent. Be aware buyer. Sephora only hides behind TRE because its convenient for them. They have the power and authority to work with you and waive whatever they need to waive to authorize any return but they wont. Especially this store, because its populated with sad, pathetic women who make it their life goal to pretend they are the cosmetic police. Please.
